"This historic building is a cool stop even without datil dishes, but if you venture to the Ice Plant Bar, don’t miss their legendary Blue Crab Beignets with datil remoulade. I wash mine down with a Rhinestone Cowboy, a blend of bourbon, amaro, pomegranate, hibiscus, mint, muddled sage and lemon, and you guessed it, datil pepper." - Carrie Honaker

"Ice Plant Bar's name is no joke: The bartenders really do hand-carve ice for the drinks. Like all good upscale cocktail dens, this one offers a mix of well-executed classics—think Sazerac, Tom Collins, Old Fashioned—and new drinks, ranging from dark and smoky (e.g., the Burt Reynolds, a rye-based tipple with vermouth, smoked cherry wood, and spiced and chocolate bitters) to bright and herbal (like the Little Red Corvette, a Negroni relative with cranberry, thyme, and lemon). There's a serious food menu too: fried chicken and hoe cakes, a pan-seared fish of the day, and the Minorcan mezze, a beautiful tribute to the culture of the Mediterranean that includes black-eyed pea falafel, tabbouleh with corn and datil peppers, labneh, hummus, pita, and more." - Sam Worley

My husband and I found this place while driving around historic St.Augustine on the scooter. The aroma coming from the restaurant is what made us stop by. The place was pretty packed and we had probably a forty minute wait. The dining area is on the second floor. The rustic design and beautiful flooring had a vintage feel. We received the menu and were taken back by the lack of lunch dishes. The lunch menu was a little sparse for my taste. Since we waited so long, we just settled on a hamburger. But, the hamburger did not disappoint like that menu did. It was decent overall.

This spot has become a favorite for my wife and I! We love the vintage, industrial inspired atmosphere and the server has been nothing short of top tier. The food is always great and we love how the menu changes seasonally, so our date nights never get repetitive. We love to order a few of their signature cocktails to drink before and after our meal, which have always been tasty and unique. You can tell how much effort they put into curating the menu and cocktails. This is truly one of the best spots in St. Augustine!

Came here after a long drive to have our first meal in St. AUGUSTINE. It did not dissapoint. The cocktails were deliciously refreshing and the smoked fish dip was so flavorful, coupled with the lightest, crispiest chips. The star of the show was the blue crab beignets. You cannot come here and not order it. For entrees I had a beautiful wedge salad with perfectly seasoned and blackened shrimp. My hubby and my son had the steak sandwich. They weren't crazy about it unfortunately. They said the steaks were a bit tough, and full of fat and tendons. But they liked everything else. Service was phenomenal. Would give this place another shot.

Great find in St. Augustine! Rustic vibe. Friendly, attentive wait staff. Concise, detailed menu with options for everyone. The shrimp toast is absolutely outstanding! Highly recommend the wedge salad. And the pan seared scallop dish was very good. I'll definitely be back ... Especially for another Moscow Mule! 5⭐!

this was our favorite place from our recent trip to Saint Augustine. The food menu is not huge but the food that they have is absolutely spectacular. every single thing that we tried was very good. The drinks were also of course top-notch as well. they put a lot of thought and creativity into their menu. We liked it so much that we came back later the same day. Service both at the bar and at the table was absolutely wonderful. I look forward to coming back here.

Jasmine provided great service and was very efficient with our service. The Pimento Cheese was amazing. And the steak sandwich was out of this world! Sorry, there are no pictures of the sandwich, but trust me, it was delicious and tender!

We wanted off the main strip of st augustine, and this was a great find. Limited menu which means perfection in the meals. A bit pricy, but you get outstanding quality and presentation. We had avocado toast and 1/2 pound burger. Strongly recommend trying the tomatoe on the side. It's pickled, and very different. Please give me a thumbs up, if you found this review helpful.
