"This lively, laid-back cafe in Sunset Harbor serves a new American menu that can answer a variety of cravings — think burgers, sandwiches, bowls, and egg dishes in the $20 range, complemented by hearty courses of spicy Thai-style coconut soup; pappardelle with braised short rib ragu; and Faroe Island wasabi crusted salmon, served with pad Thai-style vegetable quinoa and peanuts. Don’t miss the legendary dessert of shuffle-style lemon ricotta pancake, a treat topped with a whipped cream and cream cheese blend and a side of applewood-smoked bacon." - Juliana Accioly

"Award winners for its 9-inch-deep Key Lime Pie, Icebox Cafe’s slice of tropical heaven boasts all the right flavors and textures: sweet, tart, crunchy, and creamy. The custard is infused with juice from limes straight down the Florida coast and topped with a whipped cream dollop." - Juliana Accioly

"Icebox Cafe’s Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go serves from eight to ten guests with fresh roasted turkey and choices of two side dishes like stuffing with gravy or bacon-rosemary vinaigrette, homemade cranberry sauce, and one dozen biscuits. Pumpkin and apple pie are also included, and the meal costs $325. A menu of la carte options will be available at both South Beach and Hallandale locations. Order through the restaurant’s website by November 21." - Juliana Accioly

"lcebox Cafe’s lemon ricotta flat cake has been a hit since 2015, when the restaurant’s owner Robert Siegmann began interlaying scoops of batter with ricotta and lemon zest for texture and brightness. The end product is a pancake that is fluffy in the middle and crispy on the edges, made even better with a side of whipped cream and cream cheese blend and crispy applewood smoked bacon. The dish is offered during weekend brunch hours at both Sunset Harbor ($17) and Hallandale locations ($15)." - Juliana Accioly
