Absolutely fabulous atmosphere, incredible drinks, fresh tasty food and fantastic service. I highly recommend this cute place ! Stopped in after a bike ride and so glad I did. I ordered the icebox Paloma and the crispy mahi tacos; both incredibly fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back.

SO nice from the moment we walked in… The host was friendly and welcoming. The ambiance and environment was funky, cool and comfortable. Everything was delicious! Cooked and seasoned perfectly 😋 This is as my and my best friends first time here. We both wanted to come back again before we even left! Our server Stacey was sweet, fun and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed her service! I will definitely be back! SOON! I have already told many people that this is one of my all time best meals and restaurant experiences. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a great experience and meal!

I decided to visit this place for my birthday celebration and it did not disappoint! This place is a vibe! The live DJ makes the whole place better and the employees take great joy in greeting/serving you. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. I had the chicken and waffles brunch special and it did not disappoint. The chicken was nice and juicy and the waffles were moist and sweet to the point that you didn't even need syrup. I can't believe that I didn't find this place earlier! I will definitely be coming back and trying some different dishes.

Love this place! I am so happy they started to open healthy, fun, cute, spots to eat in Hallandale Beach. If you want to feel like you are sitting outside, but get to sit in the AC… this is the spot. Icebox is like sitting in a garden, very open, and floor to ceiling windows. We sat at the bar for lunch. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The menu is small, but I thought it was great! They have a lot of options. You can add different proteins to a salad. So in a way… the menu is bigger than looks. Plus, when I when I asked the waitress to accommodate to certain food needs it was not a problem. We ordered the fish tacos and the avocado seed salad with shrimp. Both were fabulous! For me I would prefer the fish not to be fried but that is a personal preference, and I was just sharing. (But they were super good) I decided on the salad. It definitely took the win. It was packed with flavors that matched perfectly in your mouth. I don’t think I can copy that one at home. This is my second time here and I can definitely say I want to come to try their brunch. It’s nice to feel like you are sitting outside, even when you are sitting inside on a hot day. The staff is friendly and everyone greets you with “hello” and a smile when you walk in. The menu has a great variety of food for everyone. If you are vegan, a meat a eater, have gluten issues, or any dietary restrictions. They were also very accommodating to modify my meal for my dietary needs. 😊 We started out with apps: Tuna tartare and the truffle fries. I can honestly say… these were some of the best fries I have had. I had to order a 2nd round. (YES! That good!) For dinner; I got the Cobb salad. Ok, here is where I modified. For me no chicken, no cheese, no bacon. I replaced it with grilled shrimp and the lemon vignette dressing. The salad was perfect and super yummy! It was a large salad so I had 1/2 left to take home for dinner tomorrow. I have only heard great things about their cakes… well it was time to try. We got the 5 cake sampler. My favorite was the oreo cake, but all were so good not much was left.

Adorable restaurant with super aesthetic indoor and outdoor seating. The food was much better than I thought it would be, everything was very flavorful. Tried the shrimp and grits and the portion was a good size. Also had the chocolate cake and their namesake alcoholic coffee drink. Everything was well-prepared and delicious! Service was great and food was ready quickly. Inside, they have a live music with a piano as well. There’s a private parking lot for the restaurant and lots of seating both inside and outside. There were fans set up throughout the greenhouse seating area that kept it comfortable. Loved all the plants!

The place has an amazing athmosphere, overall joyous and welcoming. If you want to listen to live music, I recommend sitting inside. The food came out quickly but our drinks took some time. The servers were attentive. I liked the mojito over the rum punch and the carrot cake was delicious. Overall a relaxing time ☆

We came here for Sunday brunch. Very cool vibe - reminded me of Wynwood style. There was DJ playing indoors, we decided to sit outdoors where we could hear each other. It was a little bit too hot but with fans and green garden plants everywhere it was a very pleasant seating. Service was great, all staff is very friendly and attentive. Good was great! We ordered Latke and eggs (with goat cheese and roasted vegetables), omelet, and lemon ricotta pancake (that we couldn’t finish and took it to go). Definitely will be back for live piano music for dinner

Really funky and cool restaurant! Love the decorations. I ordered the curry chicken: it was very good, but I did wish it was a bit more flavorful. If I hadn’t been so full after the meal I wish I could have tried some of the cakes! They looked absolutely delectable. Maybe I will have to come back…

Second time going to this café. First time was awesome. We sat in the beautiful patio. Service was great as was the food. This time around, not so much. We sat inside as there was a super loud group in the patio and the noise level was too much.. Inside, several of the tables need leveling. We were trying to shove napkins under one of the table legs to keep it from moving and saw a couple of other diners doing the same. Food - guava filled French toast was very good. The breakfast Powerbowl was basically a deconstructed omelette and honestly not appealing at all. The most disappointing part of this visit was the service. Our server seemed completely disinterested. It took forever to get our coffees. I asked for the milk to be warm and by the time he got warm milk, the coffee was cold. It also took a very long time for us to get the French toast after we got the power breakfast. We had to look around for our server and flag him down. Might give this place another try since I had a great experience the first time, but will definitely pick a different server.

Perfect brunch and toddler friendly! The food and cocktails were delicious. For food I got the guava filled French toast. For drinks - an espresso martini and a sandia watermelon smash. Minor but *chef's kiss* touches - they offered eggs on the side with the french toast (I always want a little bit of everything at brunch!), and that you could add Bailey's to the espresso martini (I prefer mine creamy). The ambience is lovely - big tall ceilings, with lots of light, I enjoyed the music they had playing and it was the perfect volume. Our server Amanda was amazing! Can't wait to return.

I would like to take a moment to appreciate IceBox Cafe! It's located in Hallandle, and I was very impressed by this restaurants location and great service my family and I experienced on Thursday night! We celebrated my sister's birthday and I must say, that experienced the highest level of customer care ( our party and an egg allergy) and the food was throughly prepared without any eggs just for my sister. I would like to applaud the chef, who really stole the spotlight. To make sure everything was beyond amazing! A huge shoutout to our most patient and caring server, Julyssa. She took her time and was so friendly with the kids, and I really think she needs to be recognized for her meticulous way of bringing the dishes to our table. I must add that this spot has two outdoor seating areas, and their indoor seating is also accompanied by a full seat down bar. If you love that quaint, cozy, relaxed atmosphere with great food and drink, then I highly recommend coming to the IceBox Cafe. Thank you, IceBox Cafe, for making our celebration so special!

What a WONDERFUL hidden gem in Hallandale! This restaurant has a really cool fun ambiance to it that I really love and depending if you go during the day or in the evening, the ambiance really changes and gives you a completely different feeling. The inside of the restaurant is completely surrounded by tall windows that brings in such beautiful light during the day. I love how bright and open and airy the restaurant feels during the day, it's a great spot to sit for lunch or brunch. In the evening, the lights dim low and the ambiance completely changes, giving the entire place such a cute cozy romantic vibe. Depending on the day of the week, they sometimes have musicians playing music in the corner of the restaurant which really adds to the beautiful feeling the restaurant gives off. The food is absolutely delicious to boot! The menu (although a little pricey for the area) has a great variety of interesting menu items which is great if you're looking for something different or new to try. We have never had a bad meal here, everything has been absolutely delicious. My absolute favorite dish so far is the braised short rib that's served with mashed potatoes and rosemary carrots. It's such a simple dish, but it's perfection! The meat is so soft and tender and I've never had carrots as a side dish that tasted this good. Highly recommend! A few other dishes that everyone really enjoyed have been Faroe Island Wasabi Crusted Salmon, the beyond plant based burger (for my vegetarian friends), and the curry chicken. Truly, all have been delicious. For desert they have a wonderful key lime pie we all really loved and their carrot cake as well was absolutely fantastic. The service here is always great as well. You can take your time and enjoy your meal because the servers here aren't rushing you to order, get up and go. They tell you to take your time to look the menu over, they are happy to chat with their guests and make suggestions on the menu and what drinks to try or order which is really great. The food always comes out on time and we have never had any issues with anything we have ordered the 3 or 4 times we have dined here. Overall, this is a great restaurant that always provides great food and a wonderful dining experience. Top notch!

What a surprising find in Hallandale! Perfect for Sunday brunch, delicious menu options and such a fun atmosphere. The Dj played a great selection of music but it wasn't so loud where you couldn't chat with your friends. DJ was definitely the life of the party and the star of Icebox, LOVED HIM! The wall art/decor is stunning and their gardens in the outdoor areas are so beautiful and well taken care off. Our waiter was very helpful, professional and pleasant. He also gave great recommendations and didn't miss a beat, great service! Can't wait to come back!

This is such a beautiful and fun spot! Love all the lush details of the outside as you walk inside! You get a really nice greenhouse vibe without the Florida humidity. Seats at the bar are perfect because the servers are great at helping you pick! They were doing a promo with a variety of espresso martinis and I knew I was in heaven!

I went here to a brunch with a large group of women. I was very surprised there's a lovely restaurant in this area. I loved the space, wish there were more free parking. The greenhouse was closed to a private event which was a bummer because its the star of the show to me. I would have loved to see it. Our group sat I the outside patio and it was extremely humid and hot. Not long are sitting a torrential downpour started. I already had my sights on the indoor setting because who wants to get soaked at brunch. Some of our drinks had yet to arrive and the food order was just placed. We made a mad dash to inside only to find that there was no plan in the event a storm came. The restaurant eventually came up with a plan and we were seating indoors. We suggested they use the tables we had outside instead of splitting us up in random seating with the couches. All in all we had a good time. I didn't care for the food and that had more to do with the available options for me. I ordered the Pineapple Tini and it was delicious paired with the Steak and Eggs. It was good but I wish I had other others as a gluten free person. It's certainty a cute spot, but I have seen it all and no plans on returning.

Place is so cozy. Visiting from out of town. First time around I had the steak and eggs. A lot of food but it was delicious. The arugula salad was on point that I ordered it the next day with a side of shrimp. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The seating and vibe of the place is nice. I don't know if they're open at night and it turns into a hangout. But it should. It gives jazz vibes.

Allowed me to make a reservation, sent out multiple reminders about the reservation and when we arrived, the Hallandale location was closed with non-explanatory signs on the door! A waste of my time!

Did a quick date night search on Yelp in my area and this spot was recommended...I had never heard of it but it looked really cute from the pics that were posted...so glad we gave it a try! There are three seating areas - 2 outdoors and one in...We opted for inside because there was live music, but I definitely want to come back and sit in the outdoor garden area for brunch! Our server Heaven was great! So nice, super attentive and was checking on us just the right amount. We started with apps - buffalo cauliflower for me and tuna tartare for my husband...he had a Corona and I started with a Coke. He thought the tuna tartare was good and I thought the buffalo cauliflower was fantastic! It comes with blue cheese crumbles but ask for a side of ranch dressing...you won't regret it. For dinner my husband had the pan fried grouper with fingerling potatoes and brussel sprouts....he wasn't blown away but he did finish his whole plate. I opted for the avocado and seed salad plus tofu...so fresh and tasty plus it was a huge portion, so much so I took home leftovers! For dessert we had the mini Cake trio - coconut cream, guava and chocolate delight...I don't think I'd get this again...they were good but honestly I'm just not that much into cake...I think next time I might get the espresso affogato. I'll be back for sure - my experience was A+

Phenomenal ambience, lovely music performed live, I love coming back. Consistency on their service and hospitality is one of the things I appreciate a lot from this restaurant. This is one of my favorites in the area, I love the cheesecakes and the deserts are wonderful. I haven't yet tried them all but the carrot cake and key lime pie are perfection!! Unfortunately my favorite tea wasn't available but our great server David made sure we enjoyed our time there. Thanks to the pastry chef and David for providing such a wonderful service!!

Ultimate brunch spot. The mural by @captaincasual is huuuge and wraps around the entire restaurant. Super cool outdoor patio area with a jungle ambiance. Food was amazing. Will definitely go back for the chocolate cake!

We happened to see it in passing and the plants immediately caught my attention. What. A. GEM! Great service: everyone was attentive, even during a shift change Delicious Food: the braised short rib is a must try!! The icebox burger was pretty good but could use additional sauce. The vibes outside were so nice!! The outdoor greenhouse was super cute with a variety of plants. We will return! Update: So good! And I returned. The burger was delicious and the iced coffee is a must try!

I'm so happy a friend recommended coming here for brunch. It's been on my list to try for a while. IceBox Cafe is a vibe anywhere you sit. From the outside terrace to the inside area where it's full of art and a live DJ on weekends. Super picturesque establishment. I ordered the eggs Benedict. It was good although I feel it lacked a little flavor. Their roasted colored potatoes were yummy. Everything everyone ate, they enjoyed. The winners for me are their coffee and their chocolate cake (beware it's super rich so that might be good to share). I want to come back to try their teas and more menu items. IceBox is most definitely a VIBE.

Hey guys Hey!!! Icebox is definitely on my to do again list! I enjoyed myself tremendously here. Our waitress was very friendly (maybe too friendly lol) and knowledgeable about the menu and the overall foods on the menu. She accommodated one our guests who didn't really think his drink was strong enough. We got the bottomless mimosas and they were weak to be honest. The pancake though, was different for me. I've never tried a ricotta pancake and I'm so happy I did. It was delicious. Ambiance was very nice and the garden was even better. I hate I didn't get any pics of it. I would go back if I'm in the area.

Located a few miles from Fort Lauderdale, Icebox Café is a hidden treasure. As one who identifies with the beauty of plants and nature, this place was a dream. I really enjoyed the garden area. My husband took me for brunch. I ordered the egg Benedict's and they were delicious! Served on a crispy buttery biscuit. My husband ordered the "egg box," which comes with eggs, maple sausage, and potatoes. The service was great. We were seated immediately at our arrival and our server can right away. Our server was checking on us often. It is on a higher price point and the portions are a bit small, so be aware of that. It is a really nice treat though! I totally see myself coming back.

Absolutely AMAZING location, food, music and service. I found th I s restaurant on Instagram. I researched the goggle reviews and felt compelled to come and experience this establishment for myself. I am so glad I did not hesitate to do so.. Please please go and experience the atmosphere, food and great service. David D. was our server, he made sure we know everything about the food, etc.. This will not be my last time, and I will most definitely share this establishment with my friends and family.

I came here because I loved the vibe it gave off. The set up of the place and the decor are really cute! But that's the only reason I would give it any stars. Everything we got here was absolutely terrible. The only decent thing were the fries! The menu looked so good and the items listed sounded so appealing but I was definitely fooled. We got salmon tacos, truffle French fries and the cauliflower Buffalo wings to start. I was starving before ordering so I knew I wanted to eat a lot and I was excited, but I was very disappointed. I had one of the tacos, 2 cauliflower bites and I finished the fries out of hunger. Couldn't eat more than that. If you want to go here for drinks and a cool vibe, maybe, but to eat? I do not recommend. I've been around and I would not come back here at all. I actually continued my lunch elsewhere after!

Really enjoyed this place today. Took my wife and family for brunch after a friend recommended it. Glad we went. The restaurant itself had a great vibe. They had a DJ that played a great mix of music. Another plus was the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. The bar makes really good drinks. I had an excellent bold and spicy Bloody Mary and my wife had an excellent passion fruit Mojito. For our meals 3 of us had their Icebox burger and the others had the nova plate and icebox breakfast. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The burgers are very flavorful and nice size. The nova plate had a good amount of salmon and the icebox breakfast plate was loaded with really good food. I do recommend the chocolate cake for dessert. Was kinda like multi layer Whoopie pie. Will definitely return.

The only positive aspect of this place is the atrium vibe with beautiful plants. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The service was terrible, and the food quality was even worse. I didn't bother speaking to a manager because the server didn't seem interested in addressing any concerns. The food appeared mass-produced and lacked flavor. Although the food came out quickly, the low quality became evident. The servers seemed disinterested and difficult to get their attention. To make matters worse, there was a DJ playing loud children's music, making the ambiance unpleasant. My gut feeling told me not to order, but I did out of curiosity. The ambiance is honestly wonderful, the inside is very elegant and nice and they have an outdoor area that makes u feel like you're eating in a garden. The service is excellent and the food is absolutely delicious , I'll definitely be coming back.

What a hidden gem this place is! From the huge outdoor terrace to the bright interior with floor to ceiling windows, you feel like you're dining in a lush greenhouse. Food was phenomenal. My friend's ravioli from the special three course menu was amazing, tasted like butter. Also tried a piece of her fish which was really good, but the crispy fingerling potatoes, those were divine! My short rib was cooked to perfection, tender and delicious! The dessert cake we shared was also great, it had real whipped cream, need I say more? Service could have been a bit more attentive and the women's restroom looked like it had been ransacked it was so dirty and messy with paper all over the floor. They need to keep the restrooms clean to match the amazing ambiance and food of the place.

Came to Icebox for ladies night with my girls on Monday, only to find out that there are no specials for the month of December. We decided to stay for dinner and drinks since the menu was pretty extensive. I got the coco mojito which was tasty, and the short rib ragu pasta. The short rib was cooked perfectly, but the sauce itself lacked flavor. After dinner we were given the dessert menu, which had dessert cocktails and a long list of cakes. We decided to share the "pick 3" dessert option, but a few of the slices we wanted were unavailable. We decided on 3 slices and I was not impressed. The presentation was cute, but the cakes were a little hard, like they had just come out of the fridge. The best part or the restaurant was the green house area. Lots of plants and greenery. I'd probably come back and sit in the greenhouse for drinks, but skip the food and dessert.

I enjoyed a summer hot afternoon in a new little spot in Hallendale. We opted for cool and refreshing meal. We started off with a crisp cold Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. We had two bottles , my friend and I..We then started our meal with a tuna tartare and guacamole dish served with crispy gyoza chips, that was excellent. We continued and shared the wasabi crusted salmon served with a pad Thai quinoa that was amazing (a must try). We then had two deserts, the key lime and the coconut cream cake, both delish. The service was superb and the atmosphere quite and inviting. I will return with family..

Found this hidden gem down the road from where we were staying and decided to stop in for brunch. Great ambiance, HUGE outdoor seating area, food was REALLY good (we got the tacos and avocado toast), as were the drinks and dessert (we got the carrot cake). Special shoutout to George, the AGM, thanks for the hospitality!

I thought this was the cutest brunch spot!! I made a reservation online, and you can select which area you'd like to be seated: indoor, patio or the greenhouse. We sat in the greenhouse, and it was absolutely beautiful!! I loved all the plants and the aesthetic. I started off with a vanilla iced latte and ordered the eggs Benedict. The food was delicious, and had great flavor! When I walked in I saw the beautiful display case of desserts. I loved that they offer sampling plates for desserts where you can select 3-5 different things. Most of the desserts were cake, and were okay. My favorite was the key lime pie. Our food came out quickly, but we did have trouble getting drink refills which you might need if you are sitting in the greenhouse or the patio because it does get warm!

I'm sad to say that I was very disappointed spending my Mother's Day at the Icebox. The service was pitiful. Many things that we ordered did not come out correct. Our wait staff never returned to the table to see if we needed anything. In addition, even the drinks were made incorrectly The bloody Mary did not have any bacon like I was supposed to. I don't think I would spend another holiday there as they are not equipped to deal with the crowds of people. Slow service and not attentive at all! What a bummer for a place that used to be one of my favorite hang outs in Hallandale! And , might I suggest next year that you have just one specialty menu and give each mother a simple carnation. The restaurant did nothing to make moms feel special!

The food here is fresh and delicious and it's not over salted. It's a little pricey but nice for a treat every once in a while.. I ordered a bloody mary and was completely disappointed with it. I can't put my finger on it but there was way too much ice and it had an odd flavor. Next time I'll have a screwdriver. It's hard to screw that up. The atmosphere is bright and airy and a little bit eclectic. For an indoor outdoor fieel you can sit in the greenhouse area which is well ventilated and has large fans. They also have outdoor seating which is shaded by large umbrellas. I have had the avocado toast the power breakfast the eggs and potato pancakes and they're bottomless mimosas. This is a great spot for groups or celebrations. It is dog friendly.

Be aware of that this place have small letters in the menu, and they will enforce a sharing fee even if you order more than 6 appetizers in a table of 6. A very rude manager on a Sunday evening telling us that is the Hallandale city rule that we need to pay for a sharing fee. Never coming back

Waited an hour after ordering to get out food in an almost empty nice looking restaurant . Our Waiter Mario was very nice .

Always a great time. Service is phenomenal, prices good and an awesome vibe every time. Live music a few days a week, some Sundays the Dj is a Little wedding-ish but to each their own. We tend to go weekends for brunch and have never had a bad experience. We always sit outside in the greenhouse in Oslys section, he is phenomenal, attentive but not overly intrusive. Food is always fast, fresh and plentiful. Bottomless mimosas are also a great addition and let you sit and take in the ambiance. Indoors get pretty packed but if you dress for Miami, sit outside the green house; it has fans and it is a nice reprieve.

First of all my entire pregnancy I craved their version of eggs Benedict and their delicious coffee. Almost every Sunday for months you could find me having brunch there. They have a charming Dj and a fun atmosphere to enjoy your meal on Sundays. I also love that you walk through this almost garden like scenery for outdoor eating in the front.

7/3/22 Came here for brunch with some friends. We were greeted by the Hostess, Agnes Wynn. We were shown to our table. I was uncomfortable in my chair and looked around at some empty tables to make a swap. Agnes approached. I thought she would tell me to leave them alone. Instead she encouraged me to try a few out so I could choose the most comfortable one.That made me feel very welcome. We each ordered coffee beverages while we perused the menu. There were so many great options. I finally chose the Latke and Egg brunch. It was a crispy potato latke with spinach, and eggs prepared the way I requested. We all enjoyed the wonderful food, ambience, and service. I plan on coming back here often.

Drove out from west pines to have brunch and they had a sign out front saying they were temporarily closed. hours online need to be updated in order to keep people informed.

First time here, and we loved it. Server was destiny and she is amazing!!!!!!! Great food and DJ !

Thursdays night we arrive at 8pm the place was empty We order the Cesar salad $17 and was a joke! 3 lettuce leaves cut into 4 and instead of croutons it was normal toast. My friend order a avocado salad and the avocado never came My other friend order a burger came later was ok The place is nice but expensive for the quality of food they provide

What a gorgeous gem. I've driven by a few times but had no idea what a special place awaited me. Surrounded by a tropical oasis filled with lush plants. They offer a wide menu, happy hour and a price fix option. I attended for brunch and we shared the seed salad with roasted chicken and omelette with roasted vegetables. A wonderful staff, delicious food. A little pricey but very special and there are options. Highly recommend!

Brunch was AMAZING. They have unlimited mimosas and their brunch burger was everything I wanted. The trio dessert was AMAZING. They have a beautiful garden area that is enclosed just in case it rains. The service was great and everything was a great price as well.

Food was good, I initially brought like an hour before our reservation. I was initially booked for the dining room, but upon arrival they were able to give us seating outside. Parking wasn't a hassle..as it was 5pm Sunday afternoon...arriving after the brunch rush was def a plus. Waiters were great, Benjamin was absolutely a gem...he has great suggestions with food and drinks and was very accommodating. My two other girlfriends definitely enjoyed our evening, food and drinks.

I didn't love this place, but I wanted too. The cute patio greenhouse vibe was nice with lots of plants. The ambiance is there, but the food not so much. I ordered the roasted chicken and I felt it was barely cooked with no flavor. The meatball appetizer was ok, and the cocktails were weak. I would t recommend unless this place got a different chef. The service wasn't bad, but the waitress was new and couldn't really recommend anything as this was only her second day.
