Lexington’s Saturday market under the Icehouse pavilion is grower-focused with live music and food trucks. Town pages lay out the May–September season and a mission to champion Certified SC producers—a quick hop from downtown Columbia.

Wonderful community amphitheater. My family and I went for the 4th of July celebration and the Military band, which was very nice. The fireworks display that the town of Lexington put on was fabulous, and the views from the amphitheaters seating area were spectacular. They had a few different food trucks, a drink cart, and Italian ice, all available for purchase. We have also been for the market they have on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and that's always a lovely and vibrant time. Many different vendors have tons of different products, homemade wares, art items, fresh produce, eggs from local farms, woodwork, fresh local honey, and so much more. The community thespians and acting groups put on several different performances throughout the year. Lots of musicals and a variety of other community events are held at the Icehouse Amphitheater.

Took my grandson and his friend to the Landslide : A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac, Concert, and they had the best time!! I've added videos they took while there. We'll definitely be enjoying more Events here. Beautiful, spacious, and who can't resist the open air experience!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went to the amphitheater fir a market day on Saturday. There were about 30 vendors set up. Apparently some weeks there are more vendors. All the vendors were super helpful. There were really cool items that I would love to have for gifts.

Great Amphitheatre that sits around 900 people. For events that have a cost, you want to buy your tickets in advance. However, there are numerous free events thanks to sponsors. Lots of handicap availability. Every seat is a good seat for viewing the performance Performance area is covered but the viewing area is open where you can enjoy the sun and breeze. Highly recommend a stadium seat. Free standing chairs are prohibited and outside food is prohibited. For many events, they have food trucks available. Lots of nearby restaurants in walking distance. If you have children or enjoy walking, fantastic park across the street with play area and small splash pad. Thanks to Lexington county for purchasing the former Icehouse property. What a major asset to Lexington county and offering a place for all to enjoy. Law enforcement complex located across the street helps add safety to the area. Come out and enjoy. I now know what a fun time I had been missing out on for years. Better late than never. Treat yourself to some fun and don't wait like I did. Great downtown experience.

First time at the Icehouse, impressed with the venue. Bring a stadium seat or Crazy Creek chair if you want back support while sitting. Also, read the guidelines of what you can/can't bring in. This event was chill and I saw a bunch of 'don't do/bring' guideline breaking. Food vendors were good, especially the Venezuelan pasteles, could be more variety. Beverage availability was adequate. Music was good (Elliot and the Untouchables and Marvin King) but sad to see sorry attendance. Not the first time the Columbia metro area hasn't shown support for good live music. Really good to see Elliot and The Untouchables playing in the Columbia area.

We have thoroughly enjoyed this facility since it opened. Located a convenient 1/2 mile from our house, we're a short walk from a variety of entertainment. Free great music from local bands as well as paid shows. Today (5/2/24) was The Root Doctors. Great party band! Today (5/16/24) was Tokyo Joe. While we catch their weekly acoustic set at O'Hara's, this full show includes Jason Moore on drums. He's a show all by himself. The video includes Timmy P. guest playing the keyboard. Awesome 3 hour performance. Today (5/23/24) was Hijacked. Good show. Today (10/19/24) was Under The Sun. First time seeing them. Good show.

Just LOVE,LOVE attending concerts at this beautiful, spacious, and clean location. I get excited every time it's time to go. Ample parking space in walking distance, handicap parking, security on duty, food trucks, and a scenery that is tops. Admission is free. It is located in the downtown area. Check out the website for events during the year. This is probably my 6th time, and the concerts feature all types of music. ( rock pop, country, blues. r&b, etc).YES, I recommend and will be returning . ALL seats are great. NO bad seats are available. A Family venue. Dress casual. You are outside.

Yelp
This market is truly a hidden gem for the town of Lexington!!! We've been to the Icehouse Amphitheater on Main Street in Lexington, SC on multiple occasions. For the past few weeks we've been visiting this location, because they have "The Market" every Saturday from 9am-1pm. They only do this local market from May 14th through September 24th. I have discovered some awesome local vendors that sell alot of homemade crafts. This Amphitheater also does many free concert events on Thursdays, and it's always a great time. There is a huge separate building that has both male and female restrooms. There is a public parking lot on site, as well as nearby street parking. Even when they've had large entertainment events, we've never had any issues with parking. I would highly recommend this local market and outdoor Amphitheater to coworkers, friends, and family members!!! Come by and say Hi, I sell here also!

Yelp
We have always enjoyed the Icehouse Amphitheater, but tonight was a huge disappointment. We bought tickets for the Yacht Rock Review. The tickets said the event was for 6:00, then it was changed to 6:30. At 7:45, the band still had not made it out and people were complaining. When one of our party went to talk with the management to find out what was going on and why things weren't on time. The first person we spoke to said they didn't know what the hold up was. When the event planner was approached, he said that they were on time. We have never been to an event there where we had to wait so long before the performers began. Then when the event finally started, it was unbearably loud. So much so, that there was feedback and distortion. We had to leave. First time we have ever been let down, but this was a big let down and to top it off , we had to pay for the tickets. Surely their contract spells out what is expected of the band. When they are to go on stage and for how long. Also, I have never been there when it was physically uncomfortable because they music was so loud. My ears are still ringing.
