"iCream previously offered liquid nitrogen ice cream in Chicago for seven years before closing in 2015. The concept allowed customers to watch their ice cream being made using liquid nitrogen." - Ashok Selvam

Burnt Sugar and raspberry flavored ice cream with blueberries mixed in. That is my favorite creation so far. My best friend likes to get peanut butter and chocolate flavored ice cream with nutella mixed in. There are so many different flavors you can create! This is such a unique ice cream shop, so fun and entertaining. They have ice cream, frozen yogurt, milkshakes and more.

This place is fantastic! I love watching them create my ice cream or frozen yogurt. There's so many options. I do miss the days when you could color your dessert too, but I'm glad for the fresh flavors. The green tea and pomegranate is probably my favorite mix. Just try it.

Such a fun place. I really enjoy the science behind the ice cream. The flavor combinations are amazing and the possibilities are seemingly endless! If you have kids they'll totally be memorized by the liquid nitrogen cooling. A must do for anyone that hasn't stopped in yet!

I was really excited to check out this ice cream shop after seeing it reviewed on t.v. But we were so disappointed! Maybe we should have tried their regular ice cream, but their soy ice cream was really bad...tasted super watered down. Also, some people may like all of the choices, but all the choices could make it really difficult to get a combo that would end up tasting good. If I'm going to pay more than $3 for a cup of ice cream, I want it to be good. One last thing is the interior. The shop obviously has a decent fan base; we could tell it got some traffic based on its worn down interior. The concept and logo have so much potential (to the level of Red Mango or Pinkberry), but I almost gagged as I was watched my ice cream being churned on top of a counter that was cracked and dirty. The workers themselves did not look very clean either, who washed the Kitchen Aid mixing bowls halfheartedly just behind the counter and dried them on an old, dirty-looking rack. It didn't help that they did not look happy to be there either. I give them some slack, though, since it was at the end of the day/night. Overall, the flavor of the ice cream itself wasn't outright inedible, but it was close. But the appearance of the place made my stomach churn and did not allow me to enjoy my ice cream at all. The liquid nitrogen got pretty old, too, after watching three or four times before they got to ours.

this shop offers frozen yougurt and ice cream. You decide what type of ice cream flavors, what fruit you want and special toppings. Then all of that is blended together and frozen with nitrogen! Pretty cool! Delicious! Will return

You scream, I scream, we all scream for ICREAM! Located in Wicker Park, this little ice cream shop isn't serving your run-of-the-mill ice cream, but you also get a show before receiving your frozen treat. And the most unusual part...they make your ice cream to order with liquid nitrogen! Who would've thunk?? The concept is genius and I can see why they have so many loyal patrons. I came with some friends to catch up and hang out. When choosing your ice cream, it couldn't be more simple. You choose your size, flavor, color (optional) and any toppings or mix ins you want. Then they head over to their KitchenAid stand mixers fitted with nozzles to a vat of liquid nitrogen. They dump the liquid mixture in and let her rip and VOILA! That liquid mixture you saw two seconds ago has become some of the creamiest ice cream I've ever tasted. Here are some great flavor combos: STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE This was delish. We opted for blueberry flavor ice cream with bits of cheesecake, strawberries, graham crackers. The mix-ins really made this! POMEGRANATE WITH RASPBERRIES Again, I loved the fruit-y and refreshing taste of this combination. It was perfect after having such a heavy meal beforehand. The waits can get long especially because they make the ice cream to order, but it's well worth it. There's even a TV that was showing Wall E so you can kill some time that way. Some consider this place pricey, but it's a great experience either way. Try it out!

Unique experience that is completely forgettable. The lighting is so dim that it looks closed from the outside. Once inside, you get grossed out by the dirty floors and cracked floor tiles. The service is slow and unsanitary. Three young men were behind the counter taking our order and preparing our sorbet and frozen yogurt. We had to wait 15 minutes for our order while the one guy decided to slice strawberries to restock the strawberry reserve. No sense of urgency. This same guy then left to get more change while the line stacked up. We then get our orders. 1. Raspberry/vanilla frozen yogurt- Tasted like a Chobani yogurt straight out of the freezer with a layer of artificial flavors 2. Apple Sorbet- The fruit was relatively fresh and the sorbet tasted like apples. One minute later it was a melted mess that could no longer be eaten with a spoon. Upsetting. 3. Vanilla Frozen Yogurt with Nutella- Tasted awful. Overall, this was our first and last time to iCream...by the way that name is horrible. They couldn't think of anything better?? Do NOT go waste your money here.

It's fun to watch them freeze your ice cream with liquid nitrogen. You pick your own flavor combinations, mixers and even the color. The ice cream is smooth and creamy as if it had been churned for hours.
