Identidad Cocktail Bar

Lovely place, great drink , service and atmosphere!! Our server Angela was amazing, suggested some great cocktails. Bites were good too !! The cochee milk punch was really good.

Very impressive dining experience. The service was amazing- shout out to Cely & Jesus. We ordered a spread of different items but our favorites were the coconut arepas, wings, and special croquettes. The cocktails were delicious as well. We will definitely be returning on our next trip!

My new favorite cocktail bar! Drinks were made with so much love and care. Omg and the fooooooddddd! Yes yes yes. The servers were so nice and attentive. Checking on us throughout the whole experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Really cool place. Low key. Great cocktail list for being small. Small but driven and expertly crafted. Wait is not that long for a newly extremely popular place. Congratulations on the James Beard Award. An absolute destination must when in San Juan. Wonderful people working there, bilingual and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended. Cheers!

If I could give this place 10K stars, I would. 🌟 The cocktails were phenomenal, balanced, creative, and crafted with intention. I didn’t get to try the food, but the drinks alone set the bar and then some. What makes Identidad special is the vibe: dimmed lights, modern accents, and that unmistakable Santurce energy. The staff radiates warmth and curiosity. Sit at the bar and you’ll feel it instantly. Outstanding drinks, unforgettable experience. Already a local favorite.

We visit almost every week and they never cease to amaze us with their consistent quality, service, and atmosphere. The best place for great cocktails and tapas. Come early because it gets packed—it's so good!

Wow wow wow, this James Beard winning restaurant and bar is AMAZING. I think the thing that put me over the top, that inspired me to give it 5 stars, was that the owner himself was behind the bar, making drinks and ensuring that all of his customers were happy. But beyond that, all of my interactions with servers were great, everyone here is so friendly! Of course, while great service is important, you need to have good food to back that up, and Identidad definitely does! I got the "Piña Colada Baos", which were so yummy (and dairy free!). I also got the happy hour "old fashioned," which was really good too. BTW, the happy hour, which runs 5-7pm, is great for drink specials. The inside is very modern and clean, and the bathrooms are great! You can be here in 10 minutes from Old San Juan on the "3" bus.

Fantastic drinks!! Walked in on a Friday at around 6:30 and luckily got a standing table. I had the pineapple vesper, which was perfect. Also tried the gin and tonic on HH (great) and mojito on HH (amazing). One of the best bars in PR for sure.

I came here without any expectation early (7pm) on a Saturday night and it blow me away. What an amazing place to have a good time with friends or even a nice date. Located in one of the trendiest street at the moment, Calle Cerra, Santurce. The space had a great atmosphere with cool music and cozy vibes. We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners who was very friendly and helpful. Extensive variety of cocktails to choose from. Not only they look stunning but they tasted incredible. All the ones we tried were excellent! One of my favorite Sandia, Sandia, Sandia, so refreshing. BUT the huge surprise of the night was the food. Who would have thought that a cocktail bar would have such a memorable dinning experience. We indulged in several dishes like tuna tartar, crocantes de atún, masitas de cerdo and the iconic crujiente de portobello, which is basically a mesclun salad with stawberries, gorgonzola cheese, nuts and huge crunchy fried portobello mushroom on top, DELICIOUS!!!!! Definitely coming back just for that. I recommend you uber to get there, parking is hard to find. Also, if you are planning to go on a weekend night, try to have a reservation in advance bc they limit the amount of people inside which I kind of like to not overpacked. Overall, the place has solid flavors and drinks with outstanding staff and atmosphere! We had a great experience. Coming back soon!

I came here and I loved it. I came on a Wednesday night and was able to catch happy hour. So first I came because they won the James Beard Award and I saw them on a couple of list. So I did have some expectations and I would say they exceeded my expectations which is difficult. So first the service was amazing; they were very friendly and welcoming and very knowledgeable both the menu. My drink which I still think about was absolutely delicious the lychee coconut drink so good. The perfect balance of flavors and liquors and beautiful. The food; was delicious as well and I still think about the delicious crispy rice, bao buns and tartare. This place is a must stop if you are in Puerto Rico. I recommend it. I still think about it and it has been over a week.

What a wonderful experience at La identidad. The drinks were exquisite and the owner was passionate about each and every one that we ordered. The vibe was incredible as well. Definitely recommend for some great cocktails.

Amazing drinks but perfect atmosphere! Excellent playlist the whole time we were there, good salsa mostly. The bartenders were also very very attentive and friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Delicious cocktails, chill ambiance, great food. Staff was superb. Guests were cool. It was the perfect way to end a Thursday night with my best friend.
