Austin Cafe Halcyon Closes Mueller Restaurant | Eater Austin

"A downtown steakhouse mini-chain hosting a charity five-course dinner in collaboration with a Texas whiskey distillery and a Texas winery; the menu features dishes such as smoked quail rillettes, pan-seared Gulf shrimp and a peach tart, and the event (scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, August 20) is a fundraiser for a nonprofit supporting people affected by Panhandle fires, with $400 of the $500 ticket donated to the cause." - Nadia Chaudhury

Longtime Dallas Steakhouse III Forks Moves North to Frisco | Eater Dallas

"After 23 years at 17776 North Dallas Parkway, the longtime steakhouse unexpectedly relocated to 1303 Legacy Drive in Frisco, taking over the space formerly occupied by a sister concept and reopening yesterday under the same Consolidated Restaurant Operations ownership. The move followed a landlord dispute that left the North Dallas site locked out; company executives say a storm-induced power shutdown short-circuited equipment and attempts to power back up led to an impasse, while the landlord contends the lockout was for nonpayment of rent. Owners are working to transfer reservations and install new signage to complete the transition, and other sister locations in Austin, Chicago and two in Florida remain unaffected." - Brittanie Shey

We have eaten here several times in the past and we came here to let our son taste their dry aged NY steak. It's romantic place , dim and a lot of people on a Friday evening , well there are 2 seminars ongoing that's why parking lot was full . Waiter was friendly . We ordered filet 10 oz, medium rare and Dry aged NY strip medium rare ,salad with their own palatable salad dressing and asparagus Loved the bread ( fresh and so soft) as well . Their steak are flavorful lil pricier than Knife . We had a great time sure will come back for their filet .

Delicious food, excellent service with all the extra specials. Brandt was our server, very professional and friendly. Pays attention to details and makes sure we have everything we need. He went above and beyond all night to make the night special. Excellent recommendations on the entrees and aided. We ordered the American Wagyu Gold N Y Strip and shared it along with onion rings (starter) and shared the six cheese potatoes. Best steak I’ve ever had and we had at least six staff members stop by, make sure to offer assistance and wish us Happy Anniversary.

Google
What an amazing meal and experience. The service by Desmond was top notch. He made the night and Anniversary meal memorable. This was our first time and it was magical. The lobster bisque soup and French onion soup was as great. The steaks were seasoned perfectly. Overall, this evening was great. Great service Great food Great experience

We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary here last night. Roberto went above and beyond in service and making recommendations and answering all of our questions everything was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend you take the time and celebrate a special occasion here.

Alicia was absolutely fantastic and extremely hospitalable with service. The food was great, definately try the 3 forks salad. Steak and salmon were cooked perfect and well seasoned. Grrat experience.

Google
We can for a retirement seminar and I would endure an hour of power points from anyone (this guy was actually good) for the meal here. The salad is famous for a reason. The bread was hot and crusty. The steak was cooked exactly as requested which is a problem elsewhere (Pittsburgh sear is an art form) and the snap peas and mash potatoes were perfect. Finished with pecan cake that was light and fluffy. Experience was great.

Google
Attended had a business dinner here with a client and we had a spectacular meal! We had a fun waiter that took care of us during our dining. He was helpful in suggesting dishes and sides and had a great attitude. The salads were spot on and the steak with sides were delicious. We had the steak served cut that we could enjoy it slice by slice and share with the table. This was a great steakhouse to eat and the first I’ve heard it. Would definitely dine here again!

Google
Tonight was our first experience at 3Forks and it did not disappoint! From the valet to hostesses and servers our dining with you was amazing. We were celebrating our 5th anniversary and everyone was so kind to wish us Happy Anniversary with a card and a beautiful presentation of an anniversary plate with 2 desserts. The filet was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious. We also had the blackened redfish that was seasoned impeccably. Thank you Brandon and Mike for your personal service from start to finish. You both made our experience one we will remember. When, not if, we come back we will ask for you again. Thank you again 3Forks....C&G

Yelp
We had a fantastic dinner here and were really impressed with both the food and the experience. The aesthetic is romantic and sets the scene for a lowkey date night. For starters, we ordered the diver scallops with bacon jam and the chicken fried lobster--both were absolutely delicious and a great way to kick off the meal. I will say my fiancé prefers lobster fresh and not fried, so it wasn't something he would reorder, but I thought it was really tasty and it kind of reminded me of the fried alligator at Papadeuxs but in lobster form (IYKYK). For our mains, we tried the dry-aged steaks (the bone-in NY strip and the bone-in ribeye), and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The tableside presentation with the Jack Daniel's bottled-in-bond bourbon infused Maldon salt set aflame was such a cool touch and really elevated the whole experience. We also ordered the III Forks salad, which was just okay for us. Next time, we'll probably explore one of their many other side dishes since the menu has plenty to choose from. Our server, Francisco, was very attentive, made some great menu recommendations, and so kind. We were dining there for my birthday, so he brought out two ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS slices of two different kinds of cake with a "Happy Birthday" message written in chocolate on the plate. They make their desserts in-house and they were soo moist and rich but still light and airy. Overall, this was a memorable steakhouse experience with great food and exceptional steaks. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
HEADS UP - Steaks no longer include creamed corn, mashed potatoes, or sugar snap peas. Tomatoes and green onions are still offered. Prices were not adjusted one single penny and they just took all that away, with no warning. So if you'd like to have everything you used to get, your bill went up ~$45 for 2 people. For vegetables. (At the time of writing this, the yelp menu photos are out of date). First we lost the ambiance of the other location, now we just got a huge price hike with no additions. And last night for our special occasion, we got a server who was too busy with a large party to notice us, to the point where we had to flag him down. My 3 star rating is not about one experience, it's that we have been going here for years (my husband for decades) and that we aren't happy about the direction they have been going. The food is still good. The steaks are wonderful, the creamed corn is the best around, we love the beef croustades and the 6 cheese potatoes. The bread no longer tastes like it just came out of the oven. I tried a seafood special since I wasn't in the mood for steak this visit and it was alright. Next time, I'll stick to steak. Please note that the photo of the ribeye I uploaded here is with the old sides that are no longer included. We alternate between III Forks and Bobs for special occasion meals and unless we really want dessert (which iii forks does better), we will probably start leaning towards Bobs.

Yelp
Wanted to try a new steakhouse to celebrate our anniversary and had a few people who recommended III Forks! Made a reservation online, was easy and convenient! The hostess were extremely friendly, along with our servers and the food runners! The decor is nice and the restaurant is dimly lit. Everything we ordered was delicious! The dessert was so good! Definitely a good steakhouse option in Frisco!

Yelp
The service is top notch even when busy! Very organized and great filet mignon and love potion drink. Come dressed up or dress down either way a romantic or grown up atmosphere.

Yelp
All around great experience. Found ourselves minus most of the family this year and decided, with just the two of us, to go out for dinner. Called on Tuesday before Thanksgiving and spoke with Melissa who was delightful and so helpful. She found an opening for us and gave me all the details for our first visit there including the valet. So kind over the phone even with me calling a mere 48 hours before needing the reservation. Our server was Desmond who has been with III Forks for many years. He was amazing. Took excellent care of us, explained everything on the menu, made suggestions, shared his opinion and made it fun. We had the Thanksgiving special for $46. Truly, we could have just had that with water, and it would have been a great meal. But we upped it by adding the Brussel sprouts which were amazing! Had a small issue which I really shouldn't have even mentioned to Desmond bc it wasn't his, or even the restaurants concern, but he told Launa, the manager, about it and she comped our dessert. It was nice to have the comp but it was not their responsibility and was completely unexpected and appreciated. The dessert was a Bourbon Pecan Pie that was unlike anything I have had before. Desmond said they are made in house and only for Thanksgiving. So good. We also had Poinsettias (champagne and cranberry juice) and raspberry iced teas to drink. This was such a pleasant experience. First time here but I will be back again to eat from their regular menu. I cleared my plate and my mother, who eats like a bird, ate very well. The food was beautifully plated, well-seasoned and tasted better than I had anticipated (and I knew it would be good): I even ate the carrots and I hate carrots. Return trip needs to be planned. Thank you, III Forks, for providing a lovely Thanksgiving dinner experience.

Steve R.

Yelp
They're not known for their Thanksgiving turkey dinner and I can see why. It was good if you like tasteless, fake processed turkey roll -even the texture of the meat was awful. At a high end place like this you'd think they could at least serve freshly baked and carved turkey. Even the gravy was absolutely tasteless. Dressing and potatoes were ok. Had a hard time with the carrots because of the fruit flies buzzing around during dinner-one of servers offered to change tables but we didn't want to wait another 30 min. Even though dessert was included one of the waiters tried to tell us it wasn't (we did get plenty of dessert but like the rest of dinner it was totally unremarkable) If you want good turkey for Thanksgiving stay home and cook it yourself.

Yelp
Okay this place was AMAZING for a date night! We started out having drinks at the bar. The Aperol spritz and old fashioned were perfect!!! We had a reservation and the hostess let us know at the bar when the table was ready. The restaurant is beautiful with soft lighting at each table and a sophisticated vibe. For dinner our server was Violetta and let me tell you she is INCREDIBLE. She makes you feel welcome while being very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. We started with the tuna appetizer and followed that with Caesar salad and medium rare filets with the green bean almandine and six cheese scalloped potatoes. It was all very flavorful, well seasoned, and delicious. The meal also comes with fresh bread and flaky sea salt butter. It was recently my husband's birthday so they surprised us with a dessert duo of Texas pecan cake and chocolate cake and they were absolutely fantastic. We will return to this spot very soon since we had the absolute best experience! The pictures aren't perfect with the lighting but this was a wonderful meal and experience!

Yelp
Amazing all around. Quality food and service. Highly recommended for any occasion. We shared a few appetizers. Each had their own entree. We were all surprised how well seasoned the chicken was for our non-steak eater.

Yelp
Our first time visiting the Frisco location and it was wonderful. The food was on point and the service was excellent. I was enjoying the evening too much to take photos, but the pork chop, steak, sides and coctails were inline with outlet's expectations. 100% we will be back.

Yelp
Just wanted to update this review and much has changed over the years we've been frequenting this establishment. Their "new" digs in Frisco has a more modern feel, bit dark inside. I miss the old building they used to be in, more old school type of fancy, but I digress, quality is still *chefs kiss*. If you let them know it's your birthday, or anniversary they will give you a card signed by the staff. I remember a time they would also include a $50 giftcard for your next visit, and also a free dessert....but times have changed and those days are over I guess. Also, their signature sides (mashed potatoes, sugar snap peas and creamed corn are no longer included. In fact, they now have daily (or was it weekly?) special featuring different vegetables which you pay for separately. At first, I was disappointed, we love this place because we KNOW what we're getting. The waiter offered to check if they had any sugar snap peas, but we also placed an order for broccolini with almonds just in case they didn't have them. We ended up getting sugar snap peas on the house because they had some leftover from the previous night... sweet!! We still kept our order of broccolini, and let me tell you, I've never loved vegetables more in my entire life! I couldn't tell which I liked more, my French onion soup, my lobster, or the mashed potatoes, sugar snap peas or broccolini. There really isn't a meal that has ever topped this one. The quality of the food, the attentiveness of the waitstaff (even the manager check in on us and chatted a few times) is top notch. If you can swing it, definitely come here!

Yelp
Fantastic kid friendly place for happy hour. We ordered another of starters. The fish sliders were my favorite with whatever sauce was in it. It was so tasty. Then the beef tenderloin martini was great! It came in a martini glass with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and beef. It was really good we ordered two as my little loved it. They have a young adults kids menu. My Daugther wanted the chicken tenders. The only downfall was that it took way too long to bring out her meal and the scallops. It wasn't our waitress fault. Payton was on point and excellent! We ended our meal with the pecan cake. It was so yummy. Definitely coming back here

Yelp
I love the ambience as well as the delicious steaks at III Forks. It's a top tier restaurant from the moment you walk in. The filets are cooked to perfection.

Yelp
I recently had the opportunity to visit III Forks. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met. The atmosphere and interior were very classy and I appreciate the wonderful service and formality of the establishment. When we first entered, we checked in with our reservation and were placed in a booth. We requested a table instead and the staff was incredibly kind to move us. However, there were many tables available and we were sat at the one directly next to the kitchen doors. I felt so bad to request another seating change, but for the price we were paying, this location took completely away from the experience. Fortunately, we were able to move to another table in the back room and it was perfect. This table was much more quiet, romantic, and worth the cost. I want to thank the staff again for their flexibility with this situation. To begin, we ordered a glass of the Merlot and the Bee's Knees cocktail. The Merlot was a classic and the cocktail was strong, but very good as well. Our waiter recommended the Bee's Knees as the best cocktail and he was right, it was great! For our appetizer, we ordered the Beef Croustades. These were wonderful and definitely one of my favorite things of the night. The beef paired beautifully with the crunchy crostini. I also want to take a moment and appreciate the bread the butter that came with it. The bread was fresh, warm and wrapped gingerly in a napkin for us. The butter was delicious and came accompanied with sea salt granules on top. It was great! For the entrees, we ordered the American Waygu Ribeye and the New York Strip. We requested medium rare on both and our waiter told us about the option of III Fork's medium rare plus. We went with this 'plus' feature on the American Waygu Ribeye. The presentation of both steaks were excellent, including a real flame next to the Ribeye! The steaks also automatically came with sides such as mashed potatoes, creamed corn and snap peas with peppers. However, especially considering the prices of these steaks, we were disappointed with their flavor. More specifically, their lack of flavor. We ordered Truffle Butter with the Ribeye but the whole thing was just more bland than we would have liked. The New York Strip had a little more flavor but it was still pretty plain in comparison to other steaks I have had. Additionally, the New York Strip was a little more rare than I would have liked and I wished I had requested it to be cooked more than my usual medium rare. We also ordered one side, the Fried Brussel Sprouts. The sides here are large and meant to be shared, which is exactly what we did. However, we honestly did not really like the Fried Brussel Sprouts either. They were not the best, nor the worst, however, we just felt like they could have been better. Overall, the service was wonderful and each staff member I interacted with was very nice. The appetizer we chose, Beef Croustades, and the bread were also excellent. However, for the steaks, we just left feeling let down. When reviewing these steaks, I have to only give them 3 stars. This is based on price in comparison to quality and flavor. It is also in comparison to the other steaks I have had the privilege of trying around the area. Ultimately, I am not sure if I will return but you never know. Thank you!

Yelp
I had the pleasure of meeting Brandon tonight and he was Awesome! So attentive and also very personal and great personality! Overall my first 3 forks experience was phenomenal. I highly suggest this restaurant for a Friday girls night or even date nights service is outta this world and you'll leave wanting to make your next reservation with Brandon!

Yelp
Food, service, and ambiance- right on point for this (and all other previous) visits. We were welcomed at the hostess desk by Cameron. She asked us if we were celebrating anything special and I told her that every year on April 10th my Mom and I commemorate my Dad's life at what were - at some point in time - his favorite restaurants. I am so glad we chose III Forks because we were truly looked after very well by our server Andrew. We thought he was delightful. He hasn't completed one year, and yet he was extremely knowledgeable about the Menu. He was engaging, attentive, and friendly while suggesting menu items that were new additions since we last dined here (for my Mom's birthday and again for the seasonal Copper River Salmon back in June of 2023). Gotta have bread and butter for the table and it was absolutely worth every bite. Love the touch of the coarse sea salt directly on the pat. We started things off with the Ketel One Mule. Just the right amount of spiciness from the ginger beer, and flavor of vodka and lime juice. Ordered the Diver Scallops with Bacon Jam (excellent), followed by the III Forks Salad without the Bleu Cheese (also excellent), the 6oz Filet Mignon with all the fixins (cream corn, snap peas, and whipped potatoes with tomatoes and green onions), the 8oz Strip Filet with a succulent Lobster Tail, an order of Six Cheese Potatoes, and Mandarin Orange and Chocolate Ganache for Dessert. Had to box up the remainder of the Steak as well as the Dessert, but we enjoyed every bite the following afternoon and thought that the food quality has increased since last time. Never a bad meal here - this time was markedly different in a good way! And - we will continue the three-times-a-year tradition and indulge whenever we choose. Love the energy here and the vibrance of the intimate dining space. Bonus points for being less than 2 miles (and right around the corner) from our home. I would definitely request Andrew the next time we dine here! Launa visited our table during our meal and it was great to see her again! Chef Chris knows what he is doing and it is clear that his culinary skills truly shine and are a testament to his commitment and high standards of excellence.

Yelp
Amazing dining experience for Thanksgiving Texas style. From the time that we arrived, until the time that we left we felt valued with Mike as our bartender while we waited on our table The steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The sides were rich, creamy and flavorful. Every staff member was welcoming and pleasant. Our waiter was incredible! Could not ask for a better dining experience! Definitely will be a returning customer!

Yelp

Amazing Restaurant not only the great vibes of the people. The food was very nicely presented . Service was over the top. My water stayed full.. our waiter and waitress were very attentive and communicative.. love the little lights they have on the tables to assist the viewing of menu while maintaining the lighting all around low and intimate Where can I start with the food ; Appetizers for table calamari was amazing not rubber nor fishy tasing the best have had. 3four salad amazing. Steaks and salmon were on point. Celebrating a birthday. Not only did they bring out a dessert they blessed our Birthday Woman with 4 different (large ) slices of cake. I can't stopping saying how amazing this restaurant it! .

Yelp
Service was amazing! Desmond served us and was nothing but hospitable and fantastic. Ambience was nice, I'm not too fond of when places are too bright inside so this place was great. Food was excellent as per usual. Staff was very nice!

Yelp
Highly recommend a reservation for this place. First time here and Desmond took care of us. Ordered the crab cake and the Cesar salad to start off. The crab cake and the Cajun remoulade was delicious. Very good. The Fraser salad also very good but this dressing has cumin. I don't necessarily think it needs cumin, but overall still very good. We split the Chilean sea bass and the bone in rib-eye medium rare. It was a good amount of food. The Chilean sea bass had a great crust to it and was flaky. Cooked perfectly. (It came with fingerling potatoes, snap peas, a beurre blanc sauce , creamed corn, and some tomatoes and onions. It was seasoned really well. The ribeye was superb. The quality of the steak is something I look for at every steak house I go to and it was awesome. We got the blue cheese crown bordelaise on the steak. (It made the steak amazing). Seasoned well, came out perfectly cooked and the quality was too notch. Our server Desmond was very knowledgeable and attentive and made our experience an awesome one. The manager Jamie also Checked in with our table and also made sure everything was good. The attention to detail by them made our visit memorable. Overall, I can't wait to try the other dishes and will be coming back soon. Thanks Desmond that was a great dinner.

Yelp
After leaving the Addison location due to a nightmare where we didn't stay to eat we went to our other favorite location. Walked in the door at 8;00 PM and the hostess greeted us with "the kitchen closes in 20 minutes". Wow - nice. We left. Manager came out and tried to get us to stay but we didn't want to feel rushed and left. Another day maybe.

Yelp
III Forks-New Location-Addison-----Just walking up to this building you know you are entering something special....attention to detail is extraordinary and looks very elegant. Inside everything from the fixtures to the layout is amazing. Plenty of personal space with great lighting. Great wine selection (I went with the Stags Leap) with Bone-in Ribeye-Cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth...cool knives too :) The side we had was the cream corn and it was off the charts delish Highly recommend this steakhouse!!

Yelp
Went to Tree Forks in Frisco, Texas last night. Our server, Mike did a phenomenal job waiting on the 5 of us. The food was fantastic! The manager, Melissa and her assistant Lana do a wonderful job leading a great team! We plan to go back often. Don McKean Frisco, Texas

Yelp
Ok... Don't shoot the messenger. I only bring the truth. Is this an amazing place to eat? Yes!!! But contrary to what you THINK you should eat here... don't. Again, don't kill the messenger. But don't get the steak. You'll be sadly disappointed. Esp if you are a steak connoisseur. But lookie! I have it 4 stars... because everything ELSE is exceptional! Any fish dish! Any Pork dish! The SIDES! Lobster mac n cheese were delish! Any dessert! Errrmygawd!!! If you want the steak, well, get it! It's a free country. Just don't say I didn't tell ya so. Only got pics of the dessert...long story... but we had a blast!

Yelp
I've been here for a couple of special occasions. The food was very good. The service was excellent. The cocktail was not so good, but they brought out another one. I would return here.

Yelp
My husband took me here for our first anniversary. The atmosphere is very classy and the interior is designed beautifully. We both had the Ribeye with creamed corn, mashed potatoes, onions and tomatoes and snap peas. The steak was awesome but I think I liked the veggies the most. Extremely fresh. The waiter was very nice

Yelp
I attended a group dinner here recently and am still remembering my meal. It was outstanding-from the delicious soup to the perfectly cooked steak. Everything was so good that I didn't want it to end. Not only was the food phenomenal, but the service was as well. Our server was attentive and made sure that we were all happy with our meals. One person in the group sent her steak back-it was overcooked. The chef came out to apologize and ensure that the new steak was perfect, which it was. If you're looking for a top-shelf experience, III Forks is up there.

Yelp
We brought our little ones into III Forks to give them a fancy restaurant feel for one of their birthdays. Our server treated us extremely well and was patient and caring with our littles. We couldn't have asked for a more understanding and accommodating server. We started off with Calamari and it was okay. I wouldn't get it again for myself, but the birthday girl ate it up! The complimentary bread and butter were a hit with my littles. I had the Halibut special with a sauce of capers and dill. I'm not a big fan of capers, but that sauce was delightful and the fish was perfectly fluffy and hearty. My little shared with me and she couldn't get enough of the fish and asparagus. My husband had the New York Strip and it was cooked perfectly - perfectly tender and perfectly seasoned. My oldest really enjoyed her sliders and fries. We also had Lobster Mac and Cheese, Brussel Sprouts in sweet chili, and Asparagus. The Brussel Sprouts were my favorite. For my birthday girl, the server brought out a small chocolate cake and another cake with a candle. This really brought joy to her face. Oh, they even wrote her a birthday card!! The little details sure make it even more memorable. The staff was kind, the atmosphere was romantically dim, and the food was wonderful. Thanks for making the birthday girl's day.

Yelp
Hi end streak restaurants are pretty common in the "steak mecca" know as the DFW metroplex and lll forks holds up their end We met friends for dinner on Saturday night in Frisco. On arrival we met in the bar and enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine in their attractive bar area. They have a nice assortment of wines an we were all able to find a vineyard of our choice At the table we enjoyed some of their wonderful crispy table bread while looking thru the menu. Note , the appetizer salads are large enuff for 2 people to enjoy and we did that. My wife and shared the ceasar , greens perfect in a cold bowl with fresh parm shavings and excellent dressing but not overdressed . Our friends enjoyed the wedge - looked excellent also For dinner only one of us had beef- 6oz fillet..I've had their filet and they are extremely are good. The remaining entrees were the fish special , my wife had the salmon with chimichurri sauce , creamed corn, snap peas and fingerling potatoes. Salmon was cooked perfectly and a surprisingly large portion. I had Chilean sea bass pan sauted in a white bur blanc sauce with snap peas, fingerling potatoes and cream of corn The fish options were all well received and overall I think the salmon option was the best of them all. Too full after dinner we opted for no dessert Thank you to III Forks for allowing us a couple of hours to catch up and not rushing us on the table

Yelp
We have dined at III Forks many times. The food and service was excellent!! Desmond was great. Launa, the manager came by several times to chat and make sure we were being taken care. What we really enjoy is that you are not rushed to get in and get out. They have been alway been good to us and look forward to going back soon!

Yelp
It was great to be back at III Forks again, but at their new, to me, Frisco location. The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming, as was the Manager. Our table for two was in the center of the intimate dining room, and Gustavo was everything you could ask for in a waiter...attentive, accurate, and very personable but never "hovering". I had an incredible Belvedere dirty Martini with sleet on top and three olives and my friend had the signature Margarita. We move onto wine with dinner. French onion soup followed, and then it was the prime act...a 16 oz NY Strip and Chicken Fried Filet Mignon. Both were perfectly cooked and both delicious. For sides we had Brussels Sprouts and Six Cheese Potatoes. I recommend both! The new location is significantly smaller than the old place but that's to the better, in my opinion. It remains a class act with unbelievably great food. Bravo!

Yelp
Great food at a reasonable upscale price. Phenomenal service. Get the calamari. They have a great dipping sauce for it.

Yelp
Beautiful space, outstanding service, extensive wine list, but the best part is the food. We've eaten at most of the "top" steakhouses in the Dallas area and in several cities across the country, and the III Forks experience and food quality was the best we've had. Of course we had a steak, NY Strip, seasoned and cooked great and the quality of the meat shows it's prime. Sea Bass was also outstanding, as were the apps, salad, and sides. Our new favorite.

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant! Our server was phenomenal, knowledgeable & went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The food was perfect. I enjoyed the fish of the day for my entree which was the best branzino I've had. The love potion cocktail was so good that I ordered a second (highly recommended). The III Forks salad was delicious and was happy to enjoy my first time here. The dessert was wonderful and they made our birthday celebration feel extra special.

Yelp
Unfortunately the experience we had last night was rather poor. Our waitress was more concerned about the large table beside ours. We had to keep asking for bread, drinks took forever to get and the servers who delivered the food literally dropped it on the table and did not ask if we needed anything else. We are long time customers and this experience is not what we are used to or is the quality of service and presentation we accustomed to from III Forks.

Yelp
As usual, the food and service were excellent. The lower rating is due to the recent change removing the standard sides of mashed potatoes, creamed corn and sugar snap peas that came with the filet. All sides are now ala carte and barely cover a family of four. For a $65 filet, I wouldn't expect to have to pay extra for a scoop of mashed potatoes, so disappointing.

Yelp
My favorite steakhouse. The hostess along with the rest of the staff are always pleasant. I had the filet along with the usual sides; mashed potatoes, snap peas and corn. You can order additional sides, if you prefer. And of course you can't go to III Forks without getting the III Forks salad. If someone could make that salad for me everyday for lunch, I'd be in heaven.

Yelp
Stopped here for a business dinner. Hostess took it all in stride when we showed up a larger party than was reserved. We were quickly seated with a smile, as you would expect. Our server was professional and engaging with our group. Love the new location! Especially the bar area! I had the wedge salad, and Prime New York strip. Also got the sautéed spinach. All were prepared perfectly. Looking forward to returning!

Yelp
We had an amazing experience at III Forks. Everything in our experience from start to end was top notch. The staff was incredible, their greeting, their courtesy...just amazing. Our waiter Brandon was a dream, We will definitely ask for him next time we go, although I'm sure all the other waiters are just as good. The food is delicious. Their bread and butter 10/10 and the steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. They have a great menu selection. The star of the night was their Espresso Martini, it was one of the best I've had. Their Old fashioned is really good too. Very intimate and quite space, the bar is lively and chic and they do a really good job at dim mining the lights but still having plenty of visibility.

Yelp
I went to III Forks for the first time the other night and sat at the bar and I couldn't have had a better experience! Both Diego and Lisa were very attentive and knowledgeable about the cocktails on the menu and their preparation. The complementary bread was a nice touch and I ended up getting the sliders which definitely hit the spot! I couldn't recommend this spot more and will definitely be back soon!!

Yelp

Yelp
This is my favorite steakhouse in Dallas so far, and I've been to probably a dozen. Why, you might ask?... THE STEAKS! Yes, there are steakhouses that offer more modern atmospheres or fancier bars, but this place delivers exactly what you come for: amazing steaks. They're seasoned to perfection and cooked to temperature every time. My favorite cut is the spinalis (if you've never had it, it's so worth a try!). Every steak comes with a pre-determined set of sides (I know, unheard of), and they are absolutely delicious. They pair exceptionally well with your steak of choice and round out the meal in a thoughtfully crafted way. The only thing not worth ordering is dessert; spare the calories or opt for a bigger steak.

Yelp
What a fantastic restaurant. Terrific service from all the staff we interacted with. All had great sense of humor. We started with the shrimp cocktail. 4 pieces to a serving - 2 covered in cocktail sauce and 2 in another cream colored sauce. I did not get the name. Both were excellent. Steak - I got the 22 ounce prime ribeye. My colleague got the 32 ounce tomahawk ribeye. I am telling you folks, about the best steak I have ever had. It was that good. We got 3 different desserts and they were all so flipping good. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The restaurant was dark and richly decorated - perfect for a date night or business meetings. My favorites included the Chilean sea bass with lemon cream sauce, the slightly spicy French onion soup, and the III Forks salad with pecan maple vinaigrette was an absolute winner - they need to bottle that dressing! The ahi tuna was too salty for my taste though and the onion rings were dry enough that the group left them pretty untouched- the staff was kind enough to remove it from the bill. The meal was topped off with their crème brûlée, which did not disappoint! I would definitely return.

Yelp
Amazing experience and outstanding food! Best calamari we've ever had; the ribeye was also cooked to perfection! Our server, Clay, was amazing and hospitable! He had the best recommendations and was very attentive. Great place for celebrating an anniversary or just a classy date night out!

Yelp
My wife started with the lobster bisque that she enjoyed. I ordered the caviar and it was satisfactory. She then ordered the seared red fish and rice which was delicious and cooked to perfection. I had the wagyu bone in ribeye which was excellent. We then shared a pecan cake dessert that was moist and light and truly tasty. Our service was impressive!

Yelp
The charge you to NOT eat there. I tried to reserve for 4 and was told they need a credit card to reserve. If I dint show up or was late there would be a $50 charge per person. Don't have an emergency or you will pay.
