Always fun. Lots of great deals. Endless supply of organizers to help make life easier. Actually bought three beautiful sets of bed sheets, a fantastic (deep) colander/strainer, and three pendant lights, two green for over my bedroom nightstands and one paper and bent wood (that I might keep for over my dining table). Oh yeah, plus we had lunch!

I love me some IKEA shopping, but lately it’s been getting more expensive and the displays have gotten worse, some of the displays have gone to the point that they just don’t look good, they almost steer people away from considering the product due to how bad they look. With that and the current prices, and the fact that some of these items you have to assemble; others stores like Rooms to Go have a better chance of getting the business.

Terrible customer service register lady very rude. Call the manager named Kathleen regarding a box that I tried to return that was unopened saying that it smells bad and they couldn’t return it. The merchandise was imperfectly good conditions $1 million store cannot return something because it smells bad I don’t think so. Terrible customer service not happy at all.

One of my favorite parts of Ikea is their events they have every now and then. Currently, they have a $2.99 meal deal for 5 Swedish Meatballs and 2 sides which you really can’t beat. I also came here once for a back to school event and got a free table! Granted I lost the actual competition (where you win store credit), everyone got to keep the table they built. I do enjoy walking around the maze that is their showroom and never had a problem finding employees to help me in this location. Although I have been to better Ikeas, this one has basically everything that you could need.

The store itself is organized and well run. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. HOWEVER - be careful when you return stuff. I didn’t pay attention - they only refunded 1 item out of the 2 that I brought. And I walked away. And now I can’t prove anything. I’m out $75. Annoying. Be careful.

Our visit to Ikea was actually our very 1st visit. The parking was nice, especially for veterans, my husband loved that the most since he is a veteran. But the shopping experience wasn’t what I expected honestly. It was a lot to look at, walking through was a little congested with many thing’s and people. The carts are way too big and free moving to have such tight, small aisles. Food court food was great, the options were endless and prices fair. from what my husband and daughter said the food was great. My only issue again is the amount of space, no where to put your cart if you have 1, and the so many of the tables were dirty (we had to clean our own table), I would think with the amount of business and popularity of the food court that area would be extremely clean at all times! Checking out, the way to get through the checkout is a bet confusing since the area behind the checkout is more shopping and you have to walk through the self checkout to get to the end of the line and people looking at you like you are going to cut them in line. Once approaching the area it looks like you will be in line for hrs but it moves better smoothly for the most part, there is a lot of congestion once again.

I just had an unpleasant experience at the food counter on the first floor at IKEA Sunrise store #207. We placed an order for an icee (reg #303, trans #30) at 6:54p. We were the only ones placing the order while the employee behind the counter stood. After I printed the receipt, I noticed she picked up a rag and walked to the nearest table to start cleaning it. I figured she would pass me the cup once she saw us walk up. She did not. She went around the corner to clean more tables so I said “excuse me” and she told me she would get to me after she was done cleaning. It took 3 minutes. We were the only ones at the counter. No one came before or after us in the total of 5 minutes we were there. She was ignoring us as she returned behind the counter to tidy up and remove her gloves. I told my two young children that what she was doing was rude to us. My career started in retail and food service so I stood there in shock. I wrote down her name: Franje. I would hope it’s not because we are obviously Latino that she would ignore us for a solid 3 minutes on a very empty and quiet Tuesday night at IKEA but her demeanor spoke otherwise. Highly disappointed but a great learning lesson for my children.

The first time I went to Ikea was in Florida...they have an impressive setup...not only furniture but also a restaurant with very good food... They also have a store in Puerto Rico with a great variety of furniture and they also have the restaurant..my family and I have a lot of furniture from Ikea...we just love this store...🌹

One of my favorite home merch store where of course I love to browse. Huge parking lot garage near the entrance. I bought an entire wall unit from IKEA which was simple to put together with only one tool. They offer a simple return policy if something breaks. Love that each section is set up like a Barbie style house. Lots of staff walking around for help. The cinnamon buns I bought today in the IKEA Bistro section.

Ikea is one of those stores that you can get lost in for hours. There's a reason they have a cafeteria and snack bar. I drove down here "just" to get a couple of inexpensive pots and pans for my sons college apartment. Three hours later, I had a giant basket filled with everything from kitchen supplies to outdoor rugs. I always forget how much I like Ikea. A giant warehouse with so much eye candy for home decorating. Kitchens, living rooms, the best organizing ideas. I even was able to get some down pillows on this trip. % Lines to check out can be long, but they move.

UPDATE: Today I wanted to check out the Ikea Marketplace which sells Swedish foods. They also have a food counter selling hot foods but today only a few items were on display - hotdogs, pizza and cinnamon buns. In the marketplace, numerous food items were in the coolers and on the dry shelves. The Swedish jam was the most inviting to me for $4.99 a jar. The Swedish candies and pancakes looked good too both for resonable prices. The food ordering process is conducted through digital touch terminal that allows the customer to pick their item and then pay. The vendor then calls your name when your food is ready. As I was leaving, on the first floor they had a live human sized chess game on the floor in progress. The men's bathroom on the first floor was very clean.

Excellent service at the click and collect. I usually don't make my up to this location, but they had the doors that were on sale I needed in stock and I could kinda line things up in the area. The process was super easy, and the ability to request assistance of the friendly ikea staff to help me lift all of the doors into my car made the work quick and easy. TBH the inside is probably fantastic at this location like all ikeas which is why I made sure to collect so I stuck to my purchase plan and didn't get distracted on side quests.

I love IKEA. It's easy to find good deals on furniture, home accessories and decor. The cafeteria is also a great place to grab a good meal for not much money..their Swedish meatballs are legendary.... What I am not crazy about is the maze like pattern you have to follow....it's like a one way street where it forces you to go a certain way....not easy to backtrack. Still it's great to be able to see all the different deals. I checked out some patio furniture and it was of nice quality and price. Lots of parking ! Not far from Sawgrass Mill.

Great store layout. Helpful staff. Great bang for your buck. There is a food court with a nice sitting area for lunch. And at checkout there is a snack concession for a quick bite. I was a little press for time this trip but will definitely be back soon to check out more of there wide selection of home decor & furniture.

Ikea is an affordable furniture and household item store. This particular location is big and features well-designed showrooms. We visited two nights before Christmas Eve and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not as chaotic as I had expected. While customer service might be difficult to find, it delivers when you need it. Overall it was a good experience.

So glad that this place is close.. in NC it was a 3hr drive and now it's a 15 min drive for me. Store is huge , I normally make a day out of it. Great prices , tons to shop for. Definitely a must to shop when moving into a new place or redecorating. You will find what you're looking for and more. Huge selections and good prices. I go every 2 weeks.

Great place to do a little shopping for furniture and home goods. They also leave a restaurant and a snack bar. The food tastes great and is very affordable. The lines are not too long and you can shop online and place an order for pickup, if you're not wanting to go into the store. I have purchased several things from IKEA and have only ran into one issue. Which was handled smoothly. I would def recommend for inexpensive kitchen gadgets, home decor and furniture.

Breakfast was not a thought when I planned my visit to the store today. I would have to say. It hit the spot and it was a great way to start my shopping experience. The breakfast was very good and the prices excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area was cute. I liked the tables used in the restaurant area. I liked them so much that I ended up getting a set lol. I am still thinking about the big round lamps. I did like the look. I wish I had the space. They look nice. The place is like a candy store to me and they do carry candy and cookies. I recommend the cookies by the front. They are good. I found what I was looking for and more. I get inspirational ideas every time I visit the store. The store staff was helpful and approachable. They seem to like working here. They have a friendly attitude. It was a joy to shop, especially with a full belly. The store has a big parking garage. I like that it has wide parking spaces. The area also has birds living there. Watch out for bird poo. That is all I am going to say on that lol

2-21-22 12:30pm Came here at lunchtime as it is close to my office and I wanted to check out their closet systems. I am in the process of getting a house built and the cost of the closet system is $9,100 with the builder. My nephew in NJ just installed a closet system with IKEA for a little over $1,000. They can assist you in designing what you want or you can do it yourself on the computer. You just need to input the measurements. I definitely will be back once I am ready to install. On the way out I bought an organizer for my dresser drawers a pack of six only $6.99. This place is truly amazingly priced. So why not a five star review. I dislike that you have to walk a certain route to get to where you are going. You can't skip ahead to the department you want to go to only. Next time I will investigate if I can walk in backwards instead lol.

Always happy to come to IKEA. It just feels very homey, cozy and they have lots of interesting stuff for the house, office and kids room. My favourite time to come here is November and December as they have lots of cool things for Christmas (like candles, vases, blankets, trees and ornaments). I also enjoy the food upstairs. They have few dishes for decent prices, and they are pretty good. Always something for you, your friend and kids. I also love the fact that they have veggie dogs downstairs, they are even better than original ones, in my opinion. Gotta try.

Terrible packing job by ikea all dishes arrived broken...contacted customer service got the Philippines couldn't understand a word the rep was saying called back after 20 minutes got another rep who prepared a case number and another delivery in 5 days...we see how that shipment arrived very surprised at ikea last time I order anything directly from them

We ran in "real quick" to grab a few items for our closets. Now... if you have ever been, real quick and ikea is an oxymoron. I used the restroom to wash my hands, and it was really a mess. Then We wandered our way through the maze to get to the closet section, found what we needed and wrote down the aisle numbers in order to grab them downstairs. We then walked through more of the maze to get downstairs to pick it all up. Unfortunately both of us had picked out a couple of items that were out of stock. We both walked out of our aisles with empty hands. Bummer. I guess everyone's New Years resolution is to makeover their closets? We then went to purchase two waters and the employee standing next to the kiosk to check out said he was shutting the machines down and for us to go in the long checkout line to purchase the two waters. Needless to say, we put the waters back and called it a day. Better luck to us next time I guess. Hopefully they restock sometime soon. Thank

This Ikea is great, very clean, and organized. A sales rep printed out our order number, and we took it to the register, paid, and waited 15 minutes for the boxes. We were delighted with the process. I purchased a wardrobe. The quality is excellent--plenty of storage space and sturdy. We built it ourselves. Thankfully, my dad is a genius because he put it together in less than 2 hours.

It is always fun to go shopping at IKEA because of the size of the store! The workers there are just okay. And the prices of the food is very good. You can get a meal for $3-5 dollars which is really reasonable considering how expensive other foodcourts. And there bins were really good quality! You can't go wrong with IKEA.

Another disappointing purchase at Ikea. Out of all they carry, no ladle holder for the kitchen. Long lines at the checkouts, several bays closed including a self-checkout section that of course opens when I get to the front of the line. Bought only two things, 2 identical plates. The register selected me for a random product check. The associate sheepishly laughed at me while she rescanned the plate I had already scanned. Way to go ikea. I've been a loyal customer for 38 years. Not coming back.

Section of garage 1st floor is taped off but still plenty of parking. Cafe meal was okay. Tasty meatballs, mashed potatoes and lingonberry sauce. Steamed veggies were bland and waterlogged. The small glasses for soft drinks have got to go. After adding ice, there's room for about two ounces of beverage. But the ice is worth multiple trips to the beverage station to refill the drink. Strawberry and Vanilla Swirl cone was a nice treat. The cafe and food court team members were pleasant. Browsing, getting design ideas and some steps in are still enjoyable. I'll take a pass though on most furniture not being worth the cost and having questionable durability. However, good deals can be found in household goods.

Brought my husband in, his first time because I'm usually the one that comes. IKEA is like an adult lego land. Find what you love and then buy the pieces to build at home. I love it though, it's not pricey, not top of the line but you aren't paying for top of the line. You can get really creative or stick with ikeas suggestions and their patterns and styles. This store is always organized, always stocked with carts, and always quick lines. Parking is pretty ample, and location is great. I wish I had a location closer to Port St Lucie though!

This review is for the cafeteria. IKEA promotes it as a full-service restaurant, but the one close to home in Sunrise, has a medical center "cafeteria" vibe and setup. This is fine (for me), as I have always thought that hospital food is not only healthy but tasty--especially if you add S&P or any other available condiment to it. Such is the case with IKEA. They offer "green" wooden-like sporks, as well as silverware, glassware, and ceramic mugs for your dining pleasure. On this visit, I appreciated not only the service, but the delicious meal we had for less than $10. I mean, not even a fast food restaurant can beat that! I had plant-based meatballs with a side of mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans with cranberry sauce, a fountain drink, and a slice of strawberries & cream cake. It was like a Thanksgiving meal in March--no madness just muchness! The only reason they fell short of the perfect five stars is because the selection was scant. By the time we arrived, they still had three different types of meatballs but not much of anything else besides salads and wraps. Nonetheless, I recommend them and hope to return soon. Maybe they'll be serving salmon next time!

Love love love my lunches at The sweetish restaurant in Ikea. I love the shopping experience as well. We are designing a new kitchen & bathroom at Ikea and the experience has been so easy & pleasant. We just love visiting and getting the best value for my dollar. 10/10

I visited IKEA for the first time in years. I came for a specific reason which was a battery operated train for a friend's son that they really wanted. Two things I went to try their cafeteria food because I heard they had really good vegetarian and vegan options lol. However for some reason they were not available, well, the vegan plant-based meat options were not. They didn't have the veggie hotdog or the plant balls, but they did have the veggie balls. My trip to the store itself was very successful. I found the item that I was looking for and saw online. The site stated it would be in stock, and it was. I got a little bit turned around in the store, so many cute corners. All of the employees were extremely helpful at getting me to where I needed to go from finding my item to the exit trails. I think if someone wanted to come for lunch they could get a very good deal. Some of the items are $2-$3, save some money and grab a meal. Overall it was a fun visit, IKEA is fun. I think I would go back for some prop items, you know trinkets for around the house and decor.

My dad and I always come here whenever we need a small furniture piece. Ofcourse stopping in the cafe is a must since we are Swedish ourselves. Ikea is spot on in serving the flavors of authentic Swedish foods. The only complain I have about Ikea is that they rarely ever have what I'm looking for in stock. Other than that, it's always a good experience and we will be back.

This location always has so much in stock! Whenever I can't find something, I will ask for help and every staff member I've interacted with has always been so sweet and helpful. Couldn't ask for more. Love walking through the top floor for inspiration. This location also seems more organized than others and is very clean. Easy to order ahead and pick up in store too!

Love love love IKEA. Today I had a return, entered through the exit door/ there was a large screen (no waiting area but the computer was where you did you "check-in") Remember to check in ! Then you get a text message with your place in line. Funny thing, there were apparently 4 people waiting and yet I was #2... and in no time I got another text with "go to register 5" where I got my return processed... the people waiting looked at me funny, so I approached a lady and asked her if she had done the online check in: she had not! So she thanked me and went to quickly register and so did all the other people who were just standing in a Pseudo line waiting to be called... Do your check-in! Otherwise: right now, pre-black Friday 2021 Ikea appears unusually empty. Went to look for some frames: nope. A shelf? Nope. A bathroom closet thingie? Nope. The hanger thing? Gone... napkins? Can I get napkins? Lol some are left but very few... supply chain issues people... shop now! Good luck!

I went to the store today to look around, eat and purchase a few items. When it came time to checkout, I was completely unaware they did away with the cashiers. Everything is now self checkout. Why when they are charging the same or more for items and they're providing less of a service. Seems this will be my last time shopping and eating there. It's ashamed.

Let me start by saying that it aint Halloween, why is the exchange customer rep Laritza wearing Cat ears? If she doesnt take herself serious, why should anybody else? Herself, Diana and David if memory doesnt fail me treated me like I was lying and attempting to scam the store, we purchased 4 doors, one was broken, we noticed it when we opened the box two days later. The door had no blue protection film, I documented it with pics and had all the receipts, Catlady didnt want to look at my phone, basically I was not going to back down, they got a man named Angel who ended up authorizing the door exchange after I showed the receipts. Turns out the door was from 2021, the previous reps said that I had bought it back then, like I can travel back in time and why would I have bought 4 doors on Monday then? Ridiculous! Leydi is the one who did the exchange since Catlady didn't meow at me again! Thank you Leydi for being respectful, listening and looking at the evidence. I will never buy another article at this store. I am giving them a 2 star since after 5 employees and being treated as a thief or scammer and liar.

Listen Ikea is becoming the devil like Target. It's all a trap. I went into Ikea for a set of one thing and ended up with a tone of other things. I am a sucker for kitchen items which is how it started. I then ventured into their shelves area and decided I needed a new shelving unit. Did I really need it? Probably not but I justified the reason for buying it. Everything that is decently priced and it is easy to get wrapped up into a cart full of stuff. Ikea will continue to be my go-to store for certain purchases.

This Ikea is located in Sunrise close to 595. Whether you're looking for some home inspiration, furniture, accent pieces, or useful gadgets- this is the spot! They have a parking garage and an area where you can pull up if you have large furniture to load into your car. My favorite thing to always get here is the Swedish Meatballs with the berry sauce. On this trip, we came with the idea of getting a futon for our guestroom but ended up leaving with many little things. Walking through the whole store, you can gather inspiration for your own home- current or future. If you walk all the way to the end, you get to a section with many items and gadgets. I usually walk away with at least 3 things. I picked up some Ikea bags that are useful for carrying things in bulk. We also got new scissors, a backyard umbrella, and tupperware. There really is no limit to the amount of things they have here. I even spotted some real plants at the end! We usually end our trips here with either an ice cream or hot dog at the little food area right before you exit.

No longer customer friendly. You shop with one cart then you have to unload your cart then scan your own items and then get a different cart to take the items you scanned to your car. Plus only debit or credit. No interaction with employees

IKEA is a big shopping trip if you're planning on making a huge dent in your wallet for all your furniture and home décor needs. This place is enormous! Get ready to go all over the place as this is a two-floor building. Outside is a large parking garage and there is some parking outside but that is typically reserved for those loading up furniture and there's a separate small parking lot to the side for families. Depending when coming here, there could be little to no parking. It doesn't help too much due to Sawgrass being nearby as well as a shopping plaza next door. My advice? Go on the weekday if possible and try to go in the morning. It will make for an easy shopping trip. I like to make monthly visits or at least I used to before the pandemic. These monthly trips would consist of picking up some necessities here and there and some non-necessities as well. I've gotten a dresser here, a nice writing desk, décor, a tool kit for only 10 bucks, dishes and bottles etc. There's so much to explore to become inspired with all the endless possibilities for your own home. I think their café is currently limited as well as dining capacity but the food here is such an amazing deal and is always worth getting that little break from the chaos of the shopping experience. My favorite is their chocolate cake. It's absolutely delicious and sweet. If you usually find yourself heading to IKEA you may as well sign up for their IKEA Family Rewards Program. Each time you visit you can get free coffee at the café and you're provided with exclusive shopping offers and discounts. It's so worth it and it costs nothing! My only true gripe with IKEA is the fact that even if it isn't that crowded, it seems that all the cashier lanes are jam packed. The cash registers are also quite abruptly located on the bottom floor, which may be what is causing everyone to be so cramped. Other than that it truly is a great experience and a place where you can snag awesome finds.

This location is actually the only IKEA I have ever been to in the state of Florida. I have been shopping here since I basically moved down here. Of course all ikea stores have the same basic layout but I feel that each location differs from the levels of chaos. I will warn anyone reading this: NEVER request delivery from IKEA!!! We ordered a sectional sofa years ago and what a shit show. 1st-you have to pay like $100 for delivery, 2nd-it takes weeks, and 3rd-they missed 10 items of our sofa and items from a different sofa were in the shipment. I spent hours on hold with customer service. They messed up the 2nd shipment and never came to pick up the items for the different sofa. The sunrise location tends to be out of stock on items I usually shop for, which is super irritating. There have been times I have searched for items that were listed in stock and nowhere to be found in store. There was a woman once freaking out on an employee, which I honestly could not blame her. I think I even agreed with her walking by. The store is usually neat and clean. The cafe by the registers looks messy most times. But their items are super cheap! We usually pick up meatballs and cinnamon buns from the cafe. All their foods are pretty good actually.

This was my first time at IKEA. For over a month, I've been holding onto a $10 off purchase and free frozen yogurt coupon that I decided to use them today. This maze-like warehouse was huge and if it wasn't for the white arrows on the ground, I would surely get lost. I saw some items on the first floor like plants, wall decor, glassware & cookware, and kitchen essentials. I settled on purchasing three dinner plates ($2.99 each) to serve pasta meals on. There was only three registers open so there was obviously long lines. Fortunately, the line I was in was moving quickly. You have to bag your own small purchases so bring along some tote bags or purchase a couple in the store. Just before leaving, I stopped by the Bistro to redeem my free frozen yogurt. It was lightly sweet, creamy, and delicious. Not sure when I'll return, but eventually I will. There were other things I read from yelper's reviews that I didn't get the chance to see such as the showroom upstairs, the cafeteria, and the children's play area.

IKEA, a wonderful gift from Sweden! Anything you need, simple, stylish, and all you is put it together yourself. But I like to get my lights, cups, wine glasses and much more from here. It's large, organized, clean, and there's lunch! Must try the Swedish meatballs, as well as the Mac and cheese. We bought our first couch here, years ago. My kids' first beds, blankets, our curtains we have right now. Just a nice, clean style.

The door says it's open at 9:30am, so I went at 9:47am. Only to walk in and be told, "the restaurant is open, the rest of the store opens at around 10." Well then day the store opens at 10 or list only restaurant is open at 9:30am. A scam for you to be forced to eat in their restaurant!!!!

I come to Ikea about once every two months. I buy some things for my bathroom there and walk around. There are so many things you can buy there. You can even buy bathroom and kitchen cabinets. Help is sometimes hard to find. I've needed help to find certain things because they remodeled the store in the past year or so and things got rearranged. Parking can be difficult especially on the weekends. In general, it is a good idea to pack your patience here. Too often, there are not enough cashiers on hand and the line snakes around the corner to check out. Some people love Ikea's meatballs but not me. I do like their almond cake. I I know a few college students who love Ikea for less expensive kitchen Goods. You can find what you need at a reasonable price. Some of their goods are higher quality such as the area rugs. It is a lot of fun to walk around here because you never know what you will find.

I love going to IKEA to browse around! The Sunrise location has plenty of parking, I would park closer to the exit where there's always plenty of open parking spots. I always like browsing upstairs to get some design inspiration and the look downstairs at various home goods (most items of home decor are less than $20). You could really spend a few hours in there if you thoroughly explore, but we always do quick browsing and are in and out in about an hour on average. Be sure to sign up for their IKEA Family program (they send out coupons on occasion). Also if you Google "IKEA Movers", there is a coupon on the Ikea website for $25 off a $250 purchase (you can get it once a year). Also, if you go onto the IKEA website, search by store location, the individual store webpage will show in store events and special offers. One time they had a store promotion where you can dine in the IKEA cafe and save your receipt and they'll deduct the amount of your cafe purchase off your merchandise purchase. So you never really know what kind of deals you can find at IKEA!

He's a skinny little BOY with an awful mustache and as quickly as he pranced up to me , he cowered back to his desk afraid to make any eye contact with my husband. Appalling to say the least .

Great store with good low prices however building some of the furniture might be a bit of a challenge. They do provide someone for a fee to built what ever you purchased. I like their restaurant and some of the food they sell as well. Today I bought some new pillows and area carpets. Employees at the Sunrise location are very often rude and argumentative. At Miami IKEA they're great. This lady in lighting just kept arguing with me and wouldn't listen to what I was saying. Then I spoke to her supervisor who was nearby and she was almost as bad. The cashier in the cafeteria was also rude. They tend to treat customers like they are idiots. The monitor at the self serve checkout was friendly and kind though so it wasn't a complete horrid experience.

It's always fun to take a spin around ikea. They have great prices for smaller items and plenty of furniture for any odd or end needed. I was surprised at how little food was available in the cafeteria.

I shopped online and arranged to pick up my order. It is called Click and Collect. After receiving an email that your order is ready, head to Ikea and look for the Click and Collect parking area signs. At the Sunrise location, it is way at the back. Park in one of the designated Click and Collect parking slots, log into the url posted on the sign and enter the parking slot #. Someone will come out to the car with your order. Easy peasy!!!

IKEA is an international home furniture & decor store that originated in Sweden. The concept is carry out & assembly yourself at home which is why Ikea is so affordable. The furniture & decor is perfect (IMO) for young adults starting out or odds & ends pieces for your home. The entrance is through the first floor where there are some some lockers (for convenient hands free shopping), restrooms and a monitored children's play room. The escalator or elevator will take you to the second floor where you begin the one way maze through the store. The cafeteria famous for Ikea's Swedish meatballs is also on the second floor if you find yourself getting peckish during your shopping excursion. You eventually end up back on the first floor where there's a small food market (frozen & shelf products) with Swedish sweet & savory treats. There's also a concession stand. So if you didn't visit the cafeteria on the second floor, you have one last chance to grab a quick bite on your way to the exit.

I have always enjoyed going to Ikea, even if just to walk around. This visit I went shopping for cabinets but they were out if stock. As always, I ended up getting other items that were not on my list. I always visit the restaurant too. They offer great meatless options, veggie and salmon meatballs. I love either. And their desserts are delicious. My favorite is the Daim cake. You can get all these items frozen in the market also to take home. They do follow Covid protocols with social distancing at the restaurant.

When you go to Ikea be sure to wear comfortable shoes. It's big. Once you start walking you'll want to see what's around the next corner. You gotta keep going. They have little model rooms set up, which is nice. It shows you how a room might look if you buy their furniture. IKEA is Swedish. The furniture is fairly plain with clean lines. You'll probably have to put your furniture purchases together. We bought a glass curio cabinet. My husband is handy but it still took him awhile to put it together. He said the instructions weren't any help. Prices a pretty good, depending on what you buy. There's is a delivery charge. Some stores wave the delivery charge if you spend over a certain amount. Not IKEA. They have a big cafeteria with Swedish style food. It's worth stopping there because you'll get to try food that's different and fairly priced. Buy the time you get to the cafeteria you'll be ready for a place to sit and have a cold drink, even if you don't want food. The people that work there aren't very friendly. I know they're busy but it would be nice if someone was around to answer a question. The check out lines are long, but they seem to move quickly. There's a snack bar you can stop at on your way out. Try the ice cream.

Love this place!!!! I mean can I say a maze of cute furniture. I just moved to a new place so I can't wait to decorate my place with their things. It's very spacious here. Everything is labeled clearly so you can find almost anything you need here from storage, furniture, appliances, cabinets,closet space you name it.

The first ikea of Florida has always had lines but today's were the worst I had seen. There were no real sales for the lines to be that long. I had 4-5 items but even the express lane looked to be moving just as slow. The interesting thing was that when we got to the cashier it barely took any time. The store also has a lot of the same products as it has for the past few years, which worked out as I wanted to previously purchase a lamp that I had been wanting and 3 years later was still on display. Their orchids were impressive. So much so that it was hard to tell if they were fake as they were placed with real life versions.
