"Ike’s Love & Sandwiches is a San Francisco export opening its first Houston location in the Heights. Known for its diverse sandwich menu catering to both carnivores and vegetarians, it offers options like the fried chicken sandwich Friday the 13th and vegan choices like the Hermione, featuring cucumber, lettuce, tomato, orange glaze, and provolone. The restaurant also boasts a variety of sauces including cranberry sauce, wasabi mayo, and red pesto." - Amy McCarthy

So I have been a longtime fan of Ike's and have even shared positive reviews. My sandwich today had an added bit of tinfoil that I think didn't all stop at the chewing phase.. The bit I did chew into stopped everything and from there I didn't trust my next bite. Appetite lost... thanks, much. And now I will be setting off metal detectors at the TSA checkpoints for a while.

The staff is friendly and helpful with dietary restrictions and almost everything is clean (there were several boxed strewn about the drinks area). The food isn't particularly exceptional, and they weren't playing any music to help the atmosphere. The sandwiches are okay taste-wise, but definitely overpriced. They do have Pinkerton brisket (which I thought was a cool option). I would recommend choosing the Dutch bread, since the sourdough was more of a doughy consistency. The onion rings and Mozzarella sticks are not good. I sincerely would not recommend them. There are a lot of options to choose from, including a long list of veggie sandwich options. It's possible that the veggie options are where they shine.

Ike’s is one of my favorite sandwich places. Although I was staying down near Hermann Park while on vacation, I knew I had to go out of my way to Ike’s solely for the sandwich. It was so great I actually went twice and the second time got a sandwich for the day I was leaving Houston! What a fun and great sandwich spot!

Tried this place for the first time and we were delightfully surprised by how many vegetarian and vegan options there are! We had their meatless turkey & meatballs & they tasted really good. The sandwiches are reasonably priced and really big. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their vegetarian sandwiches!:)

Google
Vibe-This is a cool sandwich shop in the heights. There are so many different sandwiches to choose from. My favorite part about this shop is that there’s so many meat free options! There’s a seating area outside and plenty of seating inside. Customer service- Great! The guy that took my order was very helpful and kind. Food/drinks- I got a meatless mike the vegan way (they used vegan cheese instead of pepper jack) Parking- There’s plenty of spots in the lot, but depending on the day and time you might have to seek additional parking.

I love Ike‘s sandwiches, but my most recent visit was less than spectacular. It was chaotic and an unorganized, with long wait times. The gentleman making the sandwiches (at an exceptionally slow pace) had his pants below his rear end, and his boxers hanging out. I’m not normally one to care about such things, but if the manager doesn’t care that his employees looking like this, I wonder what else he’s letting slide. I watched my sandwich get put on the counter and sit there for a few minutes before walking over and saying “I think that sandwich is mine.” The other employee didn’t even look at me and said sarcastically “yeah, I’m aware of that.” Before taking another minute, to put it in the bag and hand it to me without another word. Unprofessional and rude today.

Google
Amazing sandwiches! So many options it's crazy! Staff was incredibly helpful and genuinely excited to make an awesome sandwich! This place is the bomb! A little expensive, but, totally worth it. Best sandwich I've ever had in my life, hands down.

Google
This is definitely a new favorite sandwich place of ours! They have a great selection of sandwiches, including vegetarian and vegan options which was so convenient for us. Everything was delicious! The folks here are super kind and quick too. Highly recommend!

Yelp
MUST TRY!! Hands down the best sandwiches I've ever had!! Here is my order that will never fail: Either the ménage a Trois or jaymee sirewich Bread: Dutch crunch (non-negotiable) Toppings: onions, jalapeños, and ranch on the side

Yelp
It's college basketball Saturday and your wife and mother want a sandwich and you remember that Ike's Love hpad a 7777 Patrick for St. Patrick's day You pull up the email to see if it's a permanent item or just for St' Patties? And with "Luck" it's available through April!!! So you call just to make sure before you pitch Ike's over Schlotzsky's, Jason's Deli or McAlister's, You got an amazing person on the phone, he says "I know the sandwich but I can't find it, I have the Corn beef let me call my manager, can you call back in 5", You say hell yes, You call back and he says we can do it, You ask if he could give you couple of minutes to get everyone's orders and to start the drive, because it's a 30 minute drive both ways, He says okay. You get almost downtown from just north of Clearlake, So you call back and you are told "Oh no we cant make that sandwich", then starts the back and forth, but I was told and Well now you're sunk. I place the order minus the Corn beef sandwich, I pick up the sandwiches for the wife and mother, drive home, drop them off, and then send them out to make my way to Kenny's and Ziggy's to get the Corn beef sandwich I wanted 3 hours ago. So in closing, If you have a sandwich shop a couple of miles away, just go there, because I'm feeling the Love, just in the wrong place... No Diddy...

Michael E.

Yelp
I absolutely looooove their sandwiches. But this slice of cheese cake is waaaaay overpriced at $12.50! Should be more like 6-7$. Just a little disappointed this time.

Kaitlyn H.

Yelp
Expensive for a sandwich shop but worth it (the Dutch bread is a must)! Menu has a good selection of vegetarian/vegan options but I always get the Time Traveler's Wife because it's so good. Service is fine and the restaurant is typically empty/near empty. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and looks clean.

Tiffany J.

Yelp
A friend of mine insisted that I try Ike's because she knows how much I love sandwiches. I didn't realize this place serves warm sandwiches, but needless to say, I am now a fan! They have an extensive menu. The menu in store had quite a few options and there are more options online. The employee said they can make any of the sandwiches online if they have the ingredients. Whenever I try a new place, turkey is always my go to, so I decided to order the Barry Bonds (which is on the online menu) and a side of Beer Battered Zucchini. Barry B - Comes with turkey, bacon, and Swiss cheese. It was really good and flavorful! The size of the sandwich is generous. I could only eat half of it before I had to tap out. Beer Battered Zucchini - These were really good. The batter was nice and crispy and they were seasoned well. The Ike's Dirty Secret Sauce that it came with was really good too! I don't remember which sandwich my friend had but she added the beer battered zucchini to her sandwich for an extra $3. You can also add stuffed jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks, or beer battered onion rings for a fee. They have quite a few vegetarian options as well and many of the sandwiches can be made vegan. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a shared parking lot. This is the only location left in Houston, but I'm glad this location is here. Ike's is going into my sandwich rotation for sure!

Dimitri D.

Yelp
The sandwich I had was just okay. It was a simple, no-frills meal that served its purpose. While it didn't stand out with exceptional flavors or ingredients, it provided a basic and satisfying lunch. It's a reliable choice when you're looking for a quick and straightforward meal, but don't expect any culinary fireworks.

Patrick B.

Yelp
Updated with some of my favorites: Jaymee Sirewich (chicken tenders w/ bbq & ranch) Hollywood's Houston Cheesesteak (brisket & steak) Sometimes I'm a Vegetarian (mushrooms & pesto)

Goodness I.

Yelp
Cute shop and quick service. The onion rings come in a small portion for $4. Sandwiches are beautiful and flavorful.

Yelp
Stopped by this place for lunch at around 12 pm. There was a couple of people there but not too crowded. My order was taken immediately and my sandwich came out super fast! I was impressed. I ordered the Hunter Pence with no BBQ. The sandwich was really good but there was entirely too much honey mustard. It was dripping off the sandwich and even the paper it was wrapped in was completely smeared in it. Maybe I just prefer a drier sandwich but it was too much! Other than that everything tasted good and they definitely stuff up the meat and other ingredients in their sandwiches! This is probably one of the most expensive sandwiches you can get though... For the sandwich and a mexican coke I paid $20. I am not saying it was not a quality sandwich but was it worth $20? IDK.....

B M.

Yelp
Overpriced & soggy. Just isn't great, was thinking all the combos of different sandwiches would be fun but it gets soggy.

Yelp
My first time to eat here and I was truly amazed at their delicious sandwiches. Since I was with my family I got to taste several different sandwiches all at the same visit and was truly impressed! I'm not a huge sandwich guy but I will be returning to Ike's.

Cynthia V.

Yelp
Unfortunately feel like I need to update my stellar review to one that is just "meh". Had the Lizzie McGuire sandwich on the Dutch bread and it was all over the place. The chicken itself was good, the sandwich was dripping with sauce (usually a good thing, except when it causes catastrophic sandwich structural damage like this case) and the bread was either stale or overcooked...basically hard, not soft like it should be. For the high price tag, I expect better.

William K.

Yelp
This place is the most I've paid for a normal sized fast food sandwich in my life. Believe me, it's nothing special either. It tasted like a normal sandwich. Save your money and go somewhere else.

A K.

Yelp
Sandwiches are as expected for any sandwich chain. However the nutritional information provided on the menu don't line up with what's on the company website. It looks like they try to pass the calories off as being lower by only doing it for 1/2 a sandwich.

Jay F.

Yelp
Food is superb. Love what they do keeping their menu vibrant creating new names and items. If you are in the heights looking for a sub this is a good spot.

Julie J.

Yelp
A long (too long) time ago, when I was in college in the Bay Area, I would ride public transit for an hour, so that I could stand in line for another hour, just to get an Ike's sandwich. I literally even wrote Ike an email, begging him to open a shop in Berkeley (and he kindly responded)! Suffice to say, Ike's holds a special place in my heart. But. It's not just sentimental. When you're craving a real sandwich -- fresh protein, with all the fixings, jammed in a crunchy loaf of bread -- Ike's is it. My picky husband is a huge fan, and that's without the nostalgia. Anything on dutch crunch is great (and you can order just the loaves for your own kitchen experimenting, too). I have to knock off a star because sometimes they don't get everything quite right -- they have left off ingredients on standard recipes and forgotten special requests. Luckily we're not too picky, and the sandwiches are still good. We still have to make a trek to get Ike's (this time from the burbs) but it's worth it.

Daysi L.

Yelp
I had always seen this place in austin and wanted to try it out here. The menu is insanely big and everything had calorie count which is cool. When I walked in the two guys worked there were arguing LMAO abut i still ordered or whatever. I guess one of the guys wanted to quit idk. The restaurant was pretty damn dirty ngl but whatever. The sandwich was amazing literally the best sandwich i've had in forever. It was mushy, creamy, warm and cold at the same time. Idk a lot of textures and temperatures but i loved it. It was expensive , around $15 for a full sandwich. But each half is definitely it's own meal. I would definitely go back.

Dawson L.

Yelp
One of the best sandwich shops around, been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. Some of my favorite Sammies - Madison bumgarner - Menage a trios - hunter pence - Matt Cain Only reason why I'm not leaving 5 stars is due to the fact that one sandwich is almost $20 after tax.

Dave O.

Yelp
I came here for a late lunch, my choice the Matt Cain on french bread (roast beef, salami, turkey, godfather sauce, provolone, lettuce- I skipped the tomato) - the restaurant was mostly empty, it seems they have a killer takeout business and since this business shares a parking lot with several other businesses you have pay attention being it's a bit confusing since there are one way options with no easy way to escape. The friendly staff greeted me immediately when I walked in and gave me some space since the menu board can be a little over-whelming, I had already looked over the menu on their website before arriving so I was set - I ordered a combo which comes with chips and a fountain soda. The restaurant was clean and organized, the tables all looked to have been bused and wiped down recently I guess it was post lunch rush and they had time to get the dining area back in order. I can be pretty picky when it comes to sandwiches and I must say Ike's really impressed me, this was a well constructed delicious sandwich and something I hope to experience again when in the area. It's a little expensive as others have stated but then again quality and quantity rarely come in the same package so I'm happy...

Chris M.

Yelp
Love the sandwiches here. The bread tastes super good. Fresh vegetables with good ingredients. Much better than other sandwich options

Anthony France T.

Yelp
This is in an area of the Heights where there are so many interesting shops and food places. Walking in, we noticed a couple of workers up front plus the cashier. The place wasn't busy. I ordered the handsome owl and the Tony soprano sandwiches plus onion rings and jalapeño poppers. We found a place to sit and noticed all the tables were dirty. Food crumbs and greasy marks on every table we looked at. The chairs weren't clean either. The sides came out first. Both sides were wrapped in sandwhich paper. The onion rings were lukewarm; same with the jalapeño poppers. I don't know how long ago they were cooked but soggy, lukewarm onions rings are just unappetizing. The flavor wasn't even there. The jalapeño popper's temperature was that it was sitting for a good 25 minutes in the sandwich paper.it was just no good. The Tony Soprano sandwich was okay. Just meats and cheese. It is one of the better sandwiches from todays lunch. Let me tell you about the handsome owl. So that sandwich I received today looked nothing like what is on Ike's website. You can see there is more than one piece of vegan chicken nuggets in the sandwich in the ad. My sandwich was about 8 inches. Heavily sauced, tons of cheese. Two small chicken nuggets on each half. I was basically eating the Dutch bread loaded with a ton of Swiss, plain Mayo (this wasn't wasabi Mayo like it should have been) and lettuce with itty bitty pieces of vegan chicken. I took a couple of bites and was done because I felt nauseated. I don't understand the hype because this lunch was such a let down. I gave a minimum of two stars because the people who brought out the food were nice/polite.

Heather B.

Yelp
My favorite sandwich shop of all time. My favorite is the Andrew Luck sandwich. It is a classic and never disappoints.

Diana J.

Yelp
It's okay sandwiches. All I could taste was sauce, it was like eating bread and tons of sauce.. it could have just been lettuce with no meat bc you don't taste anything but a ton of sauce

Monroe G.

Yelp
Sandwiches don't live up to the hype. Service is piss poor as well... this location needs a major overhaul.

Kaliyah S.

Yelp
Customer service was 10/10! We came about 20 minutes before closing and it was our first time. The menu is overwhelming but that's because everything sounds so good. Luckily there was a couple there who gave us some of their favs to guide us. I chose the Hollywood Houston Cheesesteak & omgggggg whew. Delicious. I added red onions and banana peppers. The Dutch baguette was phenomenal. Everything was so tasty we'll definitely be back to try the others. My bf got the Hunter Pence and he loved his too! The sandwiches are so savory with the dirty sauce. Can't believe I've passed them up all these years but we will definitely return!!

Gina C.

Yelp
Was looking for a refreshing sandwich for lunch and Ike's did not disappoint! We had the Matt Cain (house bread) and Andrew Luck (sourdough) sandwiches. The sourdough bread was my favorite - so soft! The house bread was good but too sweet for my taste. Next time I would get sourdough for both sandwiches! Clean interiors and nice outdoor seating under the trees. New lunch spot to add to the rotation!

Demi T.

Yelp
Love the sandwich I ordered, but not sure if I love the price. I ordered the Matt Cain sandwich, and boy, was it delicious. It was a very filling and flavorful sandwich, and I enjoyed every bite. However, I cannot justify spending $15 on just a sandwich and chips for lunch frequently, despite how good it was. Ike's Love & Sandwiches has an enormous menu of super tasty sandwiches. There's tons of variety, ranging of traditional deli style sandwiches to fried chicken or brisket sandwiches! I appreciate that they also have an extensive list of vegetarian options, so everyone can enjoy! Everything on the menu sounded so good, and it took me a while to decide which sandwich I wanted. The store was packed and busy when I arrived, however, the wait time for my to-go order was very reasonable. Next time I'm craving a good sandwich, I'll be back to give this place another try!

Taliah J.

Yelp
Online system is down because they only have wheat bread. I don't mind the wheat bread but I can't use my rewards because those orders cannot be in person, must be online. They said you can pay for it. What?!? I get penalized because their stuff isn't working. Won't be back.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
My partner and I came here on Sunday evening for dinner. We're not strangers to Ike's, so we placed our order online and came to the location a few minutes before our pick up time. They said that they were still working on it, so no worries, we waited. However, we waited past our pick up time, and watched everyone who came to the store after us receive their orders, but they still hadn't called our name. We find out that it had been made but sat forgotten by the cashier and untouched. We ordered a Matt Cain and a We're Just Friends. A big draw with the We're just friends for me is the orange glaze, and I put a request asking for a little extra sauce. Instead, when I got home and opened my sandwich, there wasn't any orange glaze sauce in sight, for my eye or my tastebuds. Sadly this is the only Ike's in Houston and we loved all the other locations in other cities that we have been to, so we will probably be back, just not very soon. Hopefully the Ike's in Rice Village opens up again. Still giving this place three stars because the staff making the sandwiches were hard at work and my partner's sandwich was made correctly.

Jill L.

Yelp
All of the sandwiches we ordered were delicious. I love a good hoagie/sub sandwich and have eaten at many non chain restaurants and Italian delis. And these were definitely worth the hype. They all were interesting/unique combos you can't find many places. The menu is very extensive which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. For an indecisive person it may be a nightmare, but it will be great to have so many choices for someone looking for a unique flavor pairing. The other nice thing is that they had a lot of vegan options. The topping on the cake was the caramel apple lollipop you get free with your order.

Brigitte W.

Yelp
The food was just ok! Way too much of condiments/sauces on my sandwich! The place was smoky because of poor ventilation. The preparation area was not maintained; lots of crumbs. The people were very nice, but I won't be back. I was glad they had outside seating, because I was ready to leave. Unfortunately, I was meeting a friend there so we sat outside to eat. The worst part....it was lunchtime but the grease removal truck pulled up to do their "thing"!! Cannot imagine the smell...we left as soon as we could. I cannot recommended it.

Crescida J.

Yelp
Stopped in while antiquing in the Heights. Ideal location! The sandwiches were delicious, however the staff was neither friendly nor helpful. There were numerous people working but all of the tables were dirty. We asked for napkins and cleaned it ourselves. Sounded like a party was happening in the kitchen with all the laughing and carrying on. Took such a long time to get the sandwiches that we ate our chips and then took the sandwiches to go. They were great, but next time we will order ahead and plan to take out because the store is not super clean inside. Also, only one bathroom stall in each restroom.

Jada S.

Yelp
I love this place. It was my first time but I would definitely come back. The food was delicious and warm. Made with love . They were fast and done with quality. We did not have to wait long for a warm juicy sandwich. The Ambiance was nice, it's very Smokey in the place. That's proof that they "throw down in the kitchen". They get all of 5 stars from us

Enna J.

Yelp
WRONG SANDWICH. We ordered 3 sandwiches: 2 vegetarian (Maya Angelou and Time Travelers wife) and 1meat (Ménage a Trois). Instead of the Vegetarian Maya Angelou, it was some sort of meat sandwich. I didn't realize until we got home and I took a bite that it had real bacon and turkey. Not a good experience at all. Also, although it relatively small in comparison to getting the wrong order...we didn't get lollipops.LOL. They asked as we placed the order, we said yes but we didn't get them.

David J.

Yelp
Unbeatable sandwiches. The Dutch bread is the best. When Adisha makes my sandwiches they are always warm fresh and best of all juicy with juices running down my hand. Loves that. Finger lick'n good. I can eat one sandwich and be full for the rest of the day. Thank you Ikes in the heights!

Krystal J.

Yelp
What a sandwich menu! Seriously I don't think I've been to another establishment that had such a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from. They offer a full length meat, vegetarian or vegan menu, of both cold and warm sandwiches. Each with a unique set of ingredients that could satisfy anyone's deli craving. I ordered the James and the giant peach and although I don't think the vegan fried chicken was fried, I liked it better that way and can't wait to go back and try something else. Really great sandwich and prices! Pros: plenty of parking in the lot shared with multiple eateries in the plaza. Covid safety measures in place protecting both workers and patrons Awesome menu that can meat any dietary restrictions with exciting options. (Not your typical mozzarella and tomatoes) Nice and helpful staff to recommend you a sandwich based on what you like Be mindful: I can see how the wait time can be kinda long if there are a lot of people or doordash/ call in orders. Be patient

Ted F.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Ok sandwich shop. Not transcendent. I like the unique Dutch bread and they have Zapp's. Parking was difficult. 1) Pepsi instead of Coke. Blah. 2) Mayonnaise or aioli standard with pastrami-based sandwiches. Have to dock them for that. 3) Meats are pretty basic: no prosciutto or interesting Italian cold cuts. No sweet peppers. 4) Speaker for background music pointed right at cash register, making communication difficult. Ambiance is quieter further inside the shop, new tables and chairs are nice. Sandwich without extras, soda can, chips, tip, added up to $23. Maybe that's just Biden-flation and I have to get used to it, but seems not a good value compared to the Philly-style Italian sub places on the east coast, even if filling. Vegetarians will like the extensive veggie menu, and I guess that is this shop's comparative advantage.

Hadi R.

Yelp
Came again for some great sandwiches. Once again was not disappointed. Really love their sandwiches and want to continue coming back

Bijou N.

Yelp
Solid sandwiches from Ike's wherever you are in the nation! I recommend the Dutch crunch bread which is their classic option and all of their sandwiches come with lettuce and tomato. Most of the sandwiches are $9-13 depending on the fillings! I got the Steve Jobs which has breaded eggplant and pesto. Packed with flavor with every bite especially for a vegetarian sandwich! My husband got the Grant Pinkerton which has Pinkerton's brisket in it and packs a punch! Parking is easy--there's a lot here!

Tisha R.

Yelp
By the way, never received a call. We happen to notice a refund was issued without a conversation being had or even an email being sent after reaching out on multiple platforms and being told I'd receive a call, still nothing. I'm not surprised.

Ellen C.

Yelp
I was pretty excited to see an Ike's in Houston as the last time I ever had Ike's was like over ten years ago! First off, parking for the shopping center where Ike's is located, plainly sucks. I think there's additional parking elsewhere? Not really sure, but just expect to fight people for parking if you happen to drive here during peak lunch or dinner hours! We ordered the Meatless Mike (vegan) and the Paul Reubens, along with a side of onion rings and vegan nuggets, at the counter. The orders took a good bit to whip up, which was understandable because there seemed to bunch of call-in orders to get through. So overall impressions is that the Meatless Mike was as delicious as I remembered it being. It's unmistakably "plant-based" if you're curious, which I am A-OK with as some of the more meat-tasting plant-based options kind of creep me out. It's not the most elegant sandwich to eat, as you can imagine. It's also a hefty sandwich - making it perfect for two separate meals! Which is great considering these sandwiches are on the pricier side. The nuggets were pretty meh and nothing to write home about, would not repurchase. My husband said the Paul Reuben was also pretty delightful and he had no complaints! He remarked the onion rings were pretty great - they seemed to be perhaps freshly hand battered and prepared. So yeah, overall pretty impressed with these sandwiches and will probably add Ike's to our rotation of sandwich spots!

Jordan B.

Yelp
Amazing sandwich quality! I order the Andrew Luck and every time it is so juicy and flavorful. Downsides: pricey sandwiches and very rich/unhealthy (that's what makes it good though).

Cara S.

Yelp
Ordered from Favor with is always super speedy, I was excited to try. But for the price... where is the food. It's very basic, bland. Mostly bread and sauce,I'm bummed. I did enjoy the lollipop, it's my favorite type.

Jamie L.

Yelp
I ordered gluten free bread and it was the worst bread I've ever tasted. It was hard and crumbly and probably just so old that it shouldn't have been eaten. The stuff in the sandwich was awesome. But look at this terrible bread. This was also quite expensive for this shitty bread and we waited a very long time for it to come out... like maybe they were searching and searching for it in the back... or something...

Jason G.

Yelp
The sandwiches are great but waaay overpriced. Also, it's not well-maintained - on our last trip the trash bin was overflowing and there was a dirty rag on the floor. It makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like in the back. Also, it's weird not having any music playing. The have bright colors and a funky menu, but it still feels like you're eating at a Subway in an airport. I suspect that franchisee is not experienced.

Nikki W.

Yelp
Waaaaaaaay overhyped sandwich. Bready and dry. Would go here if my options were here or a chain honestly.

Autumn C.

Yelp
This was my first time at Ike's. Great, great sandwiches BUT why are the calorie counts listed on the menu significantly less than what's online??? I ordered what I thought was a sandwich for around 400 calories based on the information contained on the menu. I'm eating the sandwich thinking wow this is sooo good and only 400 calories!! But I knew there was no way it could only be 400 calories. I go online to double check the nutritional facts and it says the sandwich was over 1300 calories!!! Had I known this I wouldn't have even ordered the sandwich! This issue needs to be fixed. If you aren't worried about calories, don't worry about this post because the sandwich really was amazing!!! The bread was delicious!!! I'm just heartbroken its 1300 calories and believe nutritional information should be correct on menus for people trying their best to live a healthy lifestyle. Update: After getting a less than adequate response from corporate (not the Yelp comment from the business owner, but the email response from corporate - see pictures), I am very unhappy. I realize that my issue with Ike's is very specific and some customers will not have the same concerns I have. But for me this is a matter of principle and I find Ike's nutritional facts to be seriously misleading and is indicative of a dishonest company. Edited from three stars to two stars after the response. I'm upset enough to give one star, but leaving two stars since the sandwich was good (pains me to say it- ha!). Pictures of emails below. You can see from other user pictures on Yelp that the big hanging menus do not include any notation about what is included in the calorie counts. If there was such a note, each calorie needs to be followed by an * indicating a qualifier or additional information. Second edit: includes screenshots of menu pictures posted by other users for ease of reference. I was viewing the big hanging menu when I ordered and did not view the smaller menu, but don't see a mention of breadless sandwich calorie counts on either menu. And definitely no * indicating a qualifier or additional information.

Yelp
Great food! The options for plant based were exceptional and the sandwiches are so so good. The register employee was not following sanitation guidelines or I would have given 5 stars.
