Uncomfortable high chair seats. The concept of this place is unique and comes from Japan. You order the drink and sides and go to the chef counter to order the meat. You can select the size the cut and the way of roasting. It comes on a cast iron extremely hot platter. The fillet was good, the sirloin was a disaster. Side order like the soup were a waste of time. So avarage score in total, mostly because of its genuine concept. I believe next time I’ll go to a real steakhouse for a decent steak.

Food was very good. Had the radish salad, garlic pepper rice and an 8oz Top Ribeye. Salad had a garnish of seaweed on top, the Pepper dressing was a balsamic vinaigrette with extra black pepper. Rice had a hint of flavoring, but I had to slow down and look for it. Steak was a perfect medium rare, sizzling on a hot iron. Ordered the Red Bean and Salted Caramels for dessert, very similar to a frozen Nerds Rope and about the size of a macaroon.

Not recommendable! I had the lunch menu for 15 dollars . The food was served on a hot stone which has a fancy effect. Unfortunately the meat wasn't fancy at all! Totally tough and the more i chewed it the more tougher it gots. It remembered me on chewing gum. Btw there were no asking if i want to have it medium or english or well-done. When i went to the register to pay the bill the waitress asked me how the meal was and i replied "ok" she became impolite all of a sudden. No thank you, no goodbye although i tipped her 4 dollars (because in my opinion it's not her fault when food is that bad) Definitely not recommendable and a waste of money!

Awkward all around. Food was good, but not fantastic (really salty everything). Service wasn't bad, but hurried (with just 2 other tables occupied). Price was ok, mainly because you can pay by the ounce and I don't eat much. And the beer pour was terrible with a head 1/3 of the glass tall. I won't hurry back myself but would go along with friends if they wanted to check it out.

Ordered beef curry rice because was in a hurry and the server said it was quick. Took 10 mins to arrive, the restaurant was empty and the chefs at the back were clearly just in packing meat and moving trays instead of actually cooking or taking the requisite 30s it takes to put two scoops of cooked rice and a ladle of kept warm curry sauce (with no meat inside) in a bowl. Have been a fan of ikinari steak for a while but a very disappointing experience overall this time.

Great food and excellent service. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful and did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The steak was tasty, and there were plenty of fix ins that added to the meal. If you can only go for lunch, they're about to expand the menu so you'll have a mostly full choice of all cuts they offer for dinner earlier in the day.

Beautiful juicy steak that is quick to order. I went during the steak festival where three of their main cuts were on sale. They have standing and sitting table options. First you go to your table, order drinks and side salads with the waiter (they bring you water the moment you're seated,) choose what you want and go straight to the cutting area where they cut and weigh your steak in front of you (remember your table number,) afterwards just relax and enjoy. The steaks come out quickly and automatically come with onions and corn!

The steak was amazing. Probably the best steak I've ever had. The 7oz sirloin and mashed potatoes were $17 total. My only complaint would be that they don't have tables to seat 5 people, so our party was split up. But the steak is worth it.
