The London Delivery & Takeaway Directory

"We’d define Marylebone restaurant Il Baretto as a GLP - a great little place. But they’re also delivering GLP - good looking pasta. And as the name suggests, they’ve also got a bunch of excellent wines to choose from. Order here or call them direct to get 25% off with collection." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak

The 10 Best Italian Restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, Florida | Eater Miami

"This no-frills strip mall joint serves pizzas across the entire thin-crust to deep dish spectrum. Its homemade pasta concoctions – like fettuccine with charred tomatoes soaked in a white wine sauce – are also memorable. However, perhaps the most memorable thing about this family-owned joint is its staff. You’ll feel like family."

This was our first visit to IL Baretto. We were sooo impressed. This place is a gem. Our server was Valentina and she was a superb assistant. Took such good care of us, plus her recommendations were delicious. We’re will definitely be coming back! This place is a must!

Google
Chicago crispy thin crust (tavern style) served here. We got the Italian sausage and a veggie pizza and we're very impressed. Mine could have used more sauce but sausage was great and a lot of cheese. The veggie was great as well. Conchoco was a delightful surprise THANK YOU. Service was second to none. A bit small so can get crowded. Will return when in the south Florida area. We're in Fort Pierce and come down every couple months to casino, sushi, snorkel, dive and now, Il Baretto. Oh, and we took plenty pizza back to our stay.

We dined here for my birthday this evening. The owner Daisy greeted us and was very helpful with wine and food suggestions. Everything was delicious! We enjoyed the garlic rolls, burrata salad, pesto gnocchi, chicken parmigiana, and the limoncello mascarpone cake for dessert.

Google
Ordered take out for the first time. Decent pizza. Definitely full of flavor and a nice balance of cheese and sauce. We ordered the thin crust pepperoni and a gluten free pie. My kids loved it too… so that’s a win for me 😂 I really enjoyed the gluten free pizza and it was not over priced like many other pizza places.

Google
Really good! Everything we ordered was fantastic. Got the garlic rolls to start. These caught me off guard, they are so good. They are not the traditional garlic knot. Next we got the chicken parm and the chicken piccata. Both of us subbed the pasta for the Ceaser salad. This was also phenomenal. Crispy but wet. Service was exceptional from start to finish. Will Come back to try the pizza. It seems like it was a crowd favorite. Highly recommend!

I've been coming to this restaurant for the past three years now and this place has never ceased to amaze me. The atmosphere is amazing, you're always welcomed to a smile and your getting quality service. The food here is delicious and always leaves me feeling satisfied. There isn't a dish that I've had that I haven't loved. This place has earned its five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very nice and cozy restaurant. Good service, plenty of parking and the prices are not bad. Ordered a Caesar salad and penne alla vodka pasta and was nice.

We discovered this little gem of a place - IL Baretto Ristorante- when my husband took me there for my birthday last November, and we were absolutely blown away by the food. Since then, we’ve returned several times, and each visit has been just as delicious and memorable as the first. IL Baretto is a small, intimate restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The waitstaff are always lovely and attentive. If you’re a fan of authentic, well-prepared Italian cuisine, this spot is a must-visit. They offer something for everyone on the menu- even pizza (which I haven’t tried yet but definitely plan to!). My personal favorite is the “make your own” pasta dish. I always go for spaghetti (perfectly al dente) with their incredible Fra Diavolo sauce (a spicy red sauce with just the right amount of heat) paired with either shrimp or meatballs. The flavors are bold and balanced, and the pasta is always spot on. Let me not forget the garlic rolls, truly the best I’ve ever had. They’re unlike anything else and are absolutely addictive! My husband has many favorites here… one of them is the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and it’s outstanding. The chicken isn’t just tossed in - it’s thoughtfully prepared, beautifully seared, and packed with flavor. Every dish here shows a real attention to detail, from the ingredients to the presentation. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. IL Baretto is the kind of place you keep coming back to - and one you’ll be recommending to everyone you know. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Yelp
The best Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken I have ever had. Very nice and cozy place with great service.

Yelp
I kid you not, this is the best Italian in south Florida. I've been to all the boujee expensive spots, this is true Italian cooking, highest quality ingredients, perfect execution, everything piping hot and fresh. Service was great, ambience is cozy with open kitchen. Do yourself a favor and skip the $100/head places in Miami and Lauderdale and head west for the best Penne alla vodka 10/10 Thin crust pizza 10/10 Carbonara 10/10 Gnocchi 10/10 Lasagna 10/10

Yelp
Found this amazing restaurant on a quick Yelp search for lunch with wine, and though we had some uncertainties, we ended up in absolute awe of how good the meal and ambiance were!!! Wish I had pictures to elaborate on the delicious meals but still were very impressed!! We have driven past this location several times, but will definitely be returning sooner than later!

Yelp
What a great spot ! A solid 4.5. A few tables, but great friendly service. This place looks like a little pizzeria, but the food is fresh, tasty and delicious. The best fra diavlo sauce I have ever had. We ordered the mussels for an appetizer and kept the sauce because it was so delicious. The clams in white wine with linguine were also tasty. Vodka sauce was so good. They seem to have a heavy hand with the grated Parmesan cheese and add it to all the dishes. I know for next visit. I would recommend telling them to put it on the side. We will definitely be going back.

Yelp
Hello, I am a volunteer with Paws 2 Care Coalition in Hollywood, FL which is a 501(3)c non-profit animal rescue & adoption center. We recently held our big Quartermania fundraising event and your company generously donated a gift for our prize auctions & raffles to support our rescue pups. The event was a great success and we wanted to express our gratitude for your participation! We look forward to future collaboration for the benefit of abandoned and abused dogs in our community. Thank you!

Yelp
I work in travel, been to Chicago, many times. This Chicago Deep dish pizza is good... like really good. Real deep dish. Great place located in small shopping area and super friendly staff.

Yelp
2nd time and likely done. Bad service 1st time. Mediocre stuffed pie and literally the worst baked clams I have ever had this time. Good luck Il Barretto

Yelp
My go to place for gluten free pizza in Planation! We usually order takeout, which arrives hot and fresh. Every time we have ordered, but this time we decided to visit the actual restaurant, and we were not disappointed. Our waitress stopped by right away and offered us drinks and was very friendly. It is a small restaurant with about 15 tables and an open kitchen. You can see them making the food we decided to order the Caesar salad, arancini with spinach, a large half cheese half pepperoni pizza and chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and lemon cake for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious and great portion sizes.

Yelp
6/15/2024 Our family (5, 14, and 16 along with my husband) all came for another visit last Friday. We got there early because we knew the place is small and it gets packed especially on a Friday night. Service was amazing as always. Sometimes you go to a restaurant and they look at the kids and give you the look of dread but that didn't happen here! They were very kind and attentive to my entire family. I knew we were on limited time with my 5 year old so I didn't get to order the famous fabulous deep dish. (Takes about an hour to cook) so I went with the buffalo chicken pizza. My 14 year old got the lasagna which I was going to get but didn't want to be too full. I tasted his when it got to our table and I wish I had ordered it. It was the perfect portion. I also often worry about the sauce but the sauce was great. GET THE GARLIC ROLLS! This is now my favorite spot. I'm writing this review from work and I know where I am ordering from tomorrow! Go here.... thank me later!

Yelp
This is a casual, family run Italian bistro in a strip mall across the street from the Broward Mall in Plantation. My girlfriend and I were drawn by the consistently good reviews the restaurant receives on the Let's Eat, South Florida Facebook group page so we decided to meet up for dinner. The restaurant is quite small so reservations are recommended. The dinning room is tastefully decorated and there is an open kitchen. Popular dishes include spaghetti and homemade meatballs and lasagna but we decided to indulge in the deep dish pizza which is the casserole of pizzas. A buttery, flaky crust is topped with dense mozzarella, meat, and vegetables and a thin tomato sauce. Be prepared to dig in with a knife and fork. It was so filling that I could only eat one slice. While delicious that night, it was even better the next day for lunch. Everyone at work was asking me where I got it from. We also ordered the heavenly garlic rolls and a crisp Caesar salad. I really enjoyed everything I ate here. After seeing some of the other enticing dishes coming out of the kitchen I definitely want to come back and next time leave room for dessert. Thanks for picking another winner Holly.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with a friend and wow . Unexpectedly so so good . There's only a few tables inside so I imagine for dinner it must get packed ? Waiter was super sweet and the food was fresh and delicious . I was worried since we were the only ones there at that time but they did not disappoint . And price point is awesome . 2 apps and 2 entree and cappuccino around 80 bucks . For quality of food I found this very fair and worth it . Carbonara was delicious- sauce was perfect. Would def be back and/or take out . This is a hidden gem !

Yelp
Really wanted to like this place, and it looked so promising when we walked in. It's small inside, only about 8-10 tables, so highly recommend making a reservation! When we first arrived, service was great. Our server was attentive and friendly, but as the night went along, we had to flag down someone every time we needed something like water or even the check. For the food, we were underwhelmed. The garlic rolls were good, but I would have liked the bread to be a little softer. The garlic flavor was great, though. The thin crust pizza...not good. The sauce and cheese were fresh and honestly that's what made it okay to eat, but the crust was just not good. The crust was so bland, it tasted like eating a plain unsalted cracker. There was absolutely no flavor. Maybe the deep dish is better? Don't think I'll be returning, but if I do, maybe I'll try their pasta. Don't recommend getting the thin crust pizza.

Yelp
Had high hopes based on the reviews and pictures. My first visit didn't make a great impression. How can an Italian restaurant not make a proper alfredo sauce? This is a 5 min sauce that any beginner can make, and i ordered at a very slow time for the restaurant. They either neglected to finish it (add cheese to thicken), or they are cheaping out and watering it down. Another thing I didn't like was not being asked if I wanted grated cheese, utensils, napkins to take with my order. Also had chicken parm, tasted like reheated frozen chicken and again sitting in a downpour of watery marinara. It's a shame because the overall taste is good. The ingredients used appear to be decent quality outside of the frozen chicken, but the effort and execution are just off.

Yelp
5/5 Deliciousness !!! This amazing Italian restaurant offers a culinary delight with its irresistible deep dish pizza, mouthwatering lasagna, and heavenly garlic rolls. The owner's personal touch adds to the dining experience, ensuring great service that leaves every table feeling warmly welcomed. Cute atmosphere with an open kitchen. A must-visit for those craving authentic and delicious Italian cuisine. I'm definitely going back to try the other food items .

Yelp
First time here and we really enjoyed it! Sebastian was our server, he was very nice and friendly. Decor is basic and the place is small. This is a nice local spot for good italian food. We had the Cesar Salad with homemade dressing, delicious and nice and cold. We had the thin crust pizza with sausage, onion, pepper, and mushroom. It was cooked perfectly. Thin, crispy but not overcooked. Nice blend of flavors! Homemade freshly made lemonade is a plus Will definitely return.

Mike K.

Yelp
We went last Friday for the first time. Ww started with six garlic rolls. Worth the money. They are addicting. The cheese pizza was very good. Spaghetti and meatballs were very good. Along with the lasagna. Enjoyed everything. Will definitely return. Sebastian did a great job taking care of us. Next time, we will make reservations and advance order a stuffed deep dish pizza. It looked really good. Great job!

Yelp
I finally got to try the pizza, and wow, it definitely was incredible. It was cheesy, saucy, and delicious. We had to call in about an hour beforehand and pre-order. When we got there, our table was reserved, and we ordered a few more things to go with it, and the pizza came out fairly quick. It was cooked to perfection. Being from NY, I am a NY style pizza snob, and I truly never liked Chicago-style pizza, even in Chicago. This definitely changed my mind. We also had the pear fiocchi with the smoked gouda cheese, which was incredible. You could smell the smoked cheese instantly. The pizza was great, the service was spot on, and the place was packed with locals. It was nice to see it so busy on a Friday night. It's just a great local spot with some yummy Italian food and pizza.

Yelp
Mama Mia! I no longer have the desire to go to Chicago to get a pizza. There is one in my neighborhood and this one is it! It takes an hour to bake a medium deep dish. My daughter and I strolled down to The Mustard Seed to pick up some cupcakes while we waited. The medium can easily serve 6 people. Max had the Italian beer and I had a red Italian wine and switched to a Chianti. We started our meal with a salad and added blue cheese dressing. I'm surprised it isn't crowded. They also sell premade pizzas. We plan on getting one. The size of the restaurant is moderate with black colored tablecloths. The music is Italian themed. Our waitress was sweet and accommodating.

Yelp
I've had my eye on Il Baretto for a while now, and finally decided to give them a try this week. My family ordered two pizzas for takeout, the deep dish with sausage, and the thin crust barbecue pizza. We would have tried one of their pasta dishes too, but prices are pretty steep and it was just too expensive. I've read good things about the pasta though, so I definitely want to try it on another visit. The deep dish pizza was okay, but fell a little flat for me. The sauce was not overly acidic and overall pretty good, but I found the amount of cheese and dough to be overwhelming and heavy. The thin crust was definitely the star of the order. It was perfectly crispy, with a slight tang from the barbecue sauce base. I loved the addition of the onions in the toppings, and appreciated the sprinkling of dried spices on top. While I don't think I'd seek out the deep dish again, their thin crust is one of the better ones I've had in the area.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. I was expecting mediocre and I was impressed with my eggplant parmigana. The pizza here has higher quality ingredients and I thought it was actually quite good. Spotty service which looks like they might be understaffed. Friendly all around with reasonable prices. I felt like the cheese on the pizza might be a bit excessive. They are located across from Broward Mall and usually plenty of parking. On weekends I do reccomend reservations. It looks like the bad reviews are from earlier on and the problems have been worked out. No one at the table had any objections and everyone seems to have walked away happy.

Yelp
Amazing food! Fettuccine with calamari, shrimp risotto and limoncello mascarpone cake were all 10/10

Yelp
This restaurant came highly recommended in a Facebook Fort Lauderdale Restaurant group. Born and raised in Chicago, I was hesitant about the claim that the restaurant delivers deep dish Chicago pizza. I'm happy to report that they did not disappoint. The cheese and the sauce matched perfectly to compliment the palate. I have rarely, if ever, experienced Italian food in South Florida where the acidity and sweetness were actually measured and perfected. The ingredients were fresh. The Italian sausage was perfectly spiced. The price was good. We ordered a deep dish pie and a cauliflower gluten free crust as well. I couldn't tell the difference in the crust. The deep dish crust was prepared perfectly. The pie was solid and well done where the ingredients had distinctive flavors We ordered an 1 hour earlier at our chiropractor in Pembroke Pines. The order was ready upon arrival. It's a small, intimate restaurant near the Broward Mall. There is a hooka lounge and Greek restaurant in the same mall. My son yelled "this pizza smells like Chicago." We pulled out a slice before we got home and stopped at Wawa for water. It was amazing.

Yelp
Very good. Wonderful service. Nice atmosphere. Pasta was delicious. We shared a lot! We will be back to try the pizza.

Yelp
Had I written this review a few years ago, this would've been a whole different story.... We first dined here around 2016/17 and it was delicious with excellent service... and all the visits after that were equally memorable; even celebrated our son's birthday here and we've even gone out of way to come here (after all, we live in the next county north). Then, just before COVID arrived, we dined here and service was off... the food was off... everything felt out of sync. We hadn't returned for awhile due to COVID but over the past year we've been back at dining out and decided to count our last visit to Il Baretto as a fluke and give them another chance... Making the reservation was a breeze, after that it all went downhill... The food was decent but not as good as in the past... beside the food issue, the meal was frustrating. I wanted water and asked for it before the main dishes arrived and I had to ask again once the food came... Half way through the meal (still without water), another server saw me looking around and came to ask if I need anything.... I asked for the water (again) and if she could get me a bowl for the mussel and clam shells. Instead of just getting it, she sent our server over... how hard is it for her to just grab it (this is a very small restaurant and it was half empty). I also was frustrated with other service imperfections.... like not clearing the plates off the table after we finished. Our server gave us our check and I was ready to pay it but the server (shocker) never came back to run my credit card... I actually brought it up to the counter.... I really hope they improve... and hire servers that aren't so absent minded.

Yelp
I went in to pick up dinner. I walk in the place and I'm a kid in the bronx, walking in to one of many amazing traditional family run old school Italian restaurants. There I was, taking in the tablecloth covered tables, the candles (LED?) you can see right into the kitchen, this is the place. I almost feel bad for ordering a pizza. But PIZZA, when they handed me the this 8lb 10oz bundle of deliciousness, I was impressed. Handled the ride home well, just think each slice was 1lb 1.1.2oz! It was just amazing. So perfectly done. Just wow. Next time, we're getting dinners. One more thing, whatever roasted pepper creation they gave us, I want to put it on anything.

Yelp
I love this place ! A few notes as to why: -The owner is always there and makes sure the quality is there in EVERY plate . -The service is very good, the staff is extremely attentive and genuinely try to match you with the best possible plate. -The food is a BANG of flavor . Everything is done homemade ! The pasta is homemade, the Alfredo sauce is homemade and even the deserts are home made. -It has a homely vibe. It feels like I'm visiting my Italian grandmother for lunch or dinner. -Imported Original beer from Italy ! Very unique option. Been here many times now and Highly recommend this place. My favorite plates include their Mushroom Risotto, Carbonada, any of their Pizza(I have mines eith Ham and Ricota Cheese ) and the Lasaña

Yelp
My party this evening was indecisive on what they wanted to eat, when I heard Italian I came to Yelp to see what the local offerings were, we stumbled on this little gem of a restaurant, upon arriving we were a little hesitant to go inside and a patron sitting outside told us "you've got to try it the food is amazing", so I unloaded my party from the vehicle and came inside to give it a shot, the smell you are greeted with after stepping inside reminds me of the cartoon shows we used to watch growing up where the character is floating in the air being driven closer to the meal. We were promptly greeted by this super nice lady which I assume is either the owner or manager, she sat us and mentioned some of the soups of the day, we told her about one of the members in our party who had some concerning allergies and she recommended something that she can have. We ordered the garlic rolls, if you haven't tried them, do yourself a favor and try them as soon as you can, it should be criminal to make garlic rolls that good. We also ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was really good. Everyone seated at our table enjoyed their meals. The Chicken parmigiana I ordered was just the right portion size with shaved cheese and light on sauce served over angel hair pasta, one of the members of our party had the spaghetti with meatballs which they call Spaghetti con Polpette Di Carne and she commented before receiving her dish that she wished they served it a little Al dente. She was so happy when it arrived the way she wanted it without having to tell them to make it that way. I'm disappointed that I didn't take any photos but I was really enjoying the food.

Dave R.

Yelp
Born and raised Chicagoan here. I've had more Chicago stuffed pizza than any human should. Tried Il Baretto's stuffed and thin crust pizzas. Maybe it was a one-off but the crust was not good. It tasted both well-done and chewy. Just not a good experience, which was terrible because the sauce, sausage and cheese was of good quality. I think it's a matter of too much dough on the stuffed pizza. If they could ever nail the crust then they would have something fantastic. It was nearly $50 for a one-topping stuffed pizza and one small one-topping thin crust pizza. That part was also disappointing. I'll add that the restaurant is small - tight kitchen and not a lot of places to sit - but it seems bustling and very clean. I didn't try any pastas or anything else, so that stuff could still be very tasty. But the pizzas are a pass.
google avatar

Anu P.

Yelp
I've eaten here several times and the food is delicious. I usually order pasta but I finally tried the pizza and WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG!!! The crust was perfect and the pizza itself had a generous amount of cheese and toppings. I'm vegetarian, I was in pizza heaven. Please don't punish yourself any longer and visit this establishment.

Yelp
Every Friday is pizza Friday in my household, so today we went ahead and located this gem. I've always wanted to try Chicago style deep dish pizza but didn't want to go to Chicago or Orlando to have to try it. I was advised that the pizza takes about an HR to cook so I called ahead prior to arrival. When we arrived the pizza came out shortly and it was piping hot. This style of pizza is really really cheesy and we enjoyed how stringy the cheese was when taking the slices. The flavor of the pizza was delicious and the service was also great. The place is small but we loved the quiet atmosphere. I will definitely be returning

Yelp
**Vegetarian Friendly** This is a VERY hidden restaurant in a business strip mall! Great ambiance, family-owned restaurant. We were specifically on a mission to eat Chicago-style Deep Dish...and that's how we ended up here. It was good Non-Chicago deep dish! We were impressed. The crust held up well. It was on the cheesier side, and they skimmed on the toppings. We ordered a Thin Crust Cheese too...and it was a disappointment. The crust felt undercooked that each bite felt chewy. While we came for deep dish, the other tables were there for pasta! We plan to come back. PRO TIP IF YOU ARE ORDERING DEEP DISH: Make a reservation, call an hour before your reservation to place your order (deep dish plus anything else), your food will be ready by the time you arrive and get seated! This is very helpful if you have impatient guests!
google avatar

Melissa V.

Yelp
I had this deep dish pizza for lunch with a couple of members of the family. Half mushroom and half pepperoni. I called 3 days ago to get this ready by 12:30. I was 10 minutes late, but it was waiting for all of us to be served. It was still hot and very cheesy. There were lots of leftovers. I put a couple of mine into the freezer just now. You don't see the toppings until you bite into a slice, so be sure not to have any picky guests with you!
google avatar

Max N.

Yelp
Definitely the best Chicago style pizza that I've had living in FL. Will definitely have to come back to try their flatbread style. It does take about an hour to cook, but surrounded by the ones that I love, and enjoying our conversation, it didn't seem to take that long.
google avatar

Marissa W.

Yelp
Our new go to pizzeria. Amazing service, atmosphere and food! Loved the option of a thin crust pizza. The pumpkin and minestrone soup is by far the best we've had. Can't wait for more date nights here.
google avatar

Amanda A.

Yelp
We finally made it over here to try their Chicago deep dish! The restaurant itself is super cute and they have a nice selection of wines. We enjoyed their house montepulciano. It takes an hour for the deep dish pies so many people call that in ahead of time. We weren't in a hurry so we enjoyed our wine and the burrata. The garlic rolls were delish as well. The pie is as filling as it looks but we like to take home leftovers to freeze for a rainy day. This was an authentic Chicago deep dish. The crust was not as flaky as I like it and may have been slightly over cooked but overall it was good. I would come back with an appetite!

Yelp
As good as it gets in Plantation. The food is always superb, the staff friendly and atmosphere cozy.

Yelp
We had just returned from a Virgin Voyages cruise and were on our way back home (NE TN). Our hotel was nearby and I was craving Italian so I checked yelp for suggestions. If you've never cruised on Virgin, let me just tell you - their food is one of the star attractions... so I was prepared for a "back to reality" meal. That couldn't possibly be further from what I got! The restaurant is in a small shopping type center and isn't very large, but the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. There were a couple of small outdoor tables, but it's was still rather hot, so we choose to sit inside. The servers were attentive and helpful, along with (I believe) the owner. She helped us with drink selections and was so pleasant. All of this was nice, but the food was amazing! We ordered the 2 dishes we almost always get when dining at an Italian restaurant for the first time. He had lasagna and I had Eggplant Parmesan. Both dishes were beautifully plated with very generous portions. There would've been plenty to share, but I had already gained 5# from the cruise and figured, what the heck?! I gave myself one more day of splurging ---- and I regret nothing! Both of our dishes were served piping hot and loaded with all the right flavors! My eggplant was nicely breaded and cooked perfectly with tons of cheese and just the right amount of sauce and accompanied by the perfect serving of angel hair pasta (my absolute favorite). My bf said his lasagna was right up there with the best he's ever had. We felt everything was very reasonably priced. The only "complaint" I had was that it made leaving to return home to reality that much harder! If you're in the area and are looking for Italian food, you won't be disappointed!!

Louise S.

Yelp
This small unpretentious restaurant gets a 10 for food and service. The owner also made the experience memorable by her personal visit to the table. The mussels marinara were by far the best and the pizza was thin and tasty as well as the pasta and meatballs; House wine was palatable and reasonably priced , a gem and a return if ever in the area again!! ( Folks from New Jersey)

Yelp
Great, friendly service. All very professional along with delicious quality food. I've returned now 3 times ever since I found this wonderful restaurant last week and their customer care is consistent. The chefs take pride in their dishes and the staff is genuinely friendly and professional.

Yelp
This hidden gem has the best garlic rolls and pizza. Even their regular salads will have you craving. Whether it's take out or you enjoy A little date night there , i highly recommend them.

Yelp
I could barely contain my excitement when my friend selected Il Baretto for her celebratory birthday dinner. I've been following all the posts about their to die for Stuffed Deep Dish Pizza and salivating to go for way too long. [*Pro tip- order your deep dish pie ahead when making your reservation, as it takes awhile to prepare.] Once seated, we received the warmest welcome from business owner Deisy. I must say, she went out of her way to make sure we had the ultimate birthday dining experience. From her suggested pizza accoutrements, to the delicious slice of Tiramisu cake she brought out with a candle- we devoured it all. Every dish was amazing! We ordered the Calamari Fritti, Cesar Salad, House salad and my forever fave- Penne Alla Vodka. Don't miss out on this hidden gem in Plantation. You will leave with a full belly and wanting to come back for more!

Yelp
First time there and was honestly impressed! The deep dish pizza was amazing, we ordered a medium and it was big enough to feed 4. The service was great, very attentive and friendly staff and even though we got there at the peak of their rush hour on a Friday night, the wait was minimal. Recommend 100%. We will be back soon.

Yelp
The first time we went we fell in love with this place. The pizza is incredible and the pasta dishes have al been great with very fresh ingredients. We tried the boneless chicken small size and outside of them being delicious their small was the equivalent of an extra large at most restaurants. The owner is friendly and always stops by table to chat. Oh and last but not least. The tirimisu was some of the best I have had!! Don't pass this place by!!!

Yelp
Family took me on Fathers Day since I had a craving for deep dish pizza. I called ahead and asked them if they would cook the deep dish pizza then show up an hour later to reduce the long time it takes to cook it. They said no issues at all. We ordered the large deep dish pepperoni. As well as an order of garlic rolls, captures salad for appetizers. The calamari is lightly battered and came with marinara sauce and a white sauce. Very tasty. The garlic rolls are amazing too. We also ordered the carbonara pasta and an order of lasagna. The carbonara was so flavorful and pasta is al dente. Very good food and lovely staff. The owner is very nice and comes around to check on you. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Love, love, love their thin crust pizza.....so good. The chicken parm is also delicious. That's all we've had from there, but order those items continually.

Yelp
I've been back and forth on trying this location and my only option tonight was delivery (UberEats) but I decided to just go for it. AMAZING AAAAAAHMAZING I got the one item I'd been really craving and that was the deep dish (small). Not for nothing, if you can go there yourself or order pickup yourself you save a TON on what I call the "perk fees of delivery" but absolutely definitely without a DOUBT check this place out

Yelp
First time here and will definitely come back. The food was great! I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and my husband ordered Spaghetti con Polpette Di Carne. Super delicious and tasty. We will be back to try their deep dish pizza which looked so mouth watering. Note: call ahead for your deep dish bc it takes 1 hour to make. The restaurant is tucked away in the corner of the plaza. It is easy to pass by it without noticing where it is situated within that plaza.

Yelp
Everything was perfect. Friendly staff, beyond exquisite dining. Best Italian food in the area.
