Best Italian Restaurants in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"This Preston Center restaurant is sharply focused on classic Italian dishes. Don’t miss the housemade focaccia, an old-school Caesar salad made with full leaves of iceberg lettuce, spicy gemelli, and crispy eggplant Parm. The U-shaped bar that dominates the center of the room is a great place to meet new people. Note that there is a business casual dress code." - Courtney E. Smith

Delicious food. Very innovative way of creating amazing meals. Never had salmon the way that served it. Never had sea bass the way they served it. Never had asparagus the way they served it. Everything was just so good! The polenta was amazing too.

We’d like to thank George for the service he provided. From the friendly hostess at the door to the waitstaff, everyone was kind and welcoming. As for the food, everything was absolutely delicious. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

I had lunch here for the first time last week and it was so wonderful that I came back today for lunch. The menu is very interesting and diverse and I was surprised that it wasn’t more expensive! When the weather is nice, I like a really nice patio, and this place did not disappoint. Service is exceptional and they even remembered me from last week. Enjoy the pictures! Edit: I forgot to mention my lovely servers!! Last week was Araceli, and today was Allie. Both equally awesome ❤️

I am not going to lie. After COVID, every restaurant increased their base tip and still has ridiculous services. I personally think it was very unfair to pay tips. This restaurant, from the beginning till end they had a perfect service. I think it was first time I just had an experience after COVID. Every single time when I paid tips, I felt it was a waste. I visited at around noon and it was a busy time, but every server was very nice. It was first time I didn't think it was a waste for the tip. Pastas were ok. Ice cream with olive oil was great. Mojito was bad.(it should have more mints.) Even with these, I can still rate five stars. I will definitely visit again.

Delicious - everything we ordered. No wonder it’s so hard to get a reservation! It was packed at 5:45pm on a Sunday! Space is loud - so be prepared for that. Ask for what the ‘off menu special’ is…ours was Chicken Parm and it was terrific. Skip the chocolate torte. Not a standout.

The food is fresh and delicious. For appetizers we ordered fried artichokes and the focaccia. Both were extremely good. The whipped ricotta that came with the focaccia was slightly sweet and paired perfectly with the bread. The entrees ordered were the Caio e Pepe, Eggplant Parm, and NY Strip Steak. Obviously Caio e Pepe has tons of black pepper in the dish, but was too peppery for my taste. The Eggplant Parm was delicious (not as crispy as I thought) but difficult to eat because it was extremely hot since it came to the table in an al clad stainless steel baker. I guess it’s great if you like your entree piping hot through out your entire meal. My husband loved his steak with the salsa verde, which was fresh and garlicky. Dessert was ice cream with pistachios and olive oil. This was not our favorite. The ice cream was perfect, so light and airy. I accidentally got a spoon of olive oil and it wasn’t pleasant. Otherwise, the meal was fresh and delicious overall. The service was top notch. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Water glass filled to the top before half empty. Plates were cleared pretty quickly. I would come back to try more dishes. Make a reservation for dinner though!

Google
Beautiful cozy restaurant. The vegetarian lasagna on special menu was the best I’ve ever had. Hope they add it to the permanent menu. Wine section by glass , pretty decent. Whipped ricotta amazing. Tiramisusuper rich and intense coffee flavor. Service was amazing. Will definitely go back.

Google
Il Bracco is such a lovely restaurant tucked in a beautiful plaza—it has such a nice, upscale vibe. We had a great girls night out here! The cocktails and food were both excellent, and everything was beautifully done. A must-try is their olive oil and salt ice cream—absolutely delicious and unique! Great spot for a night out with friends or a special dinner.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday weekend. I'm from Oklahoma, but found this place on Yelp, and made reservations for 8:30PM Saturday evening time. When we arrived to the restaurant, it was packed, like completely full. Tons of people in the front waiting for their tables. We had to wait an extra 30mins after our reservation time to be seated. However, it was worth the wait. Manager (I think) sat us in a cozy booth, and ordered us the crispy artichoke app and 2 mocktails on the house. I thought that was a super kind gesture, because he didn't have to do that for us. We weren't upset about the wait since, I had already read reviews stating that we would have to wait beyond our reservation time before coming here. For our entrees I ordered the NY Strip medium rare and my hubby ordered the lasagna special with a side of seasonal veggies which was cauliflower. Everything tasted perfect, and we left overstuffed. Overall, I'm so happy I found this restaurant on Yelp, and happy we had a good experience! Definitely, would recommend to friends, because the food is delicious! However, to my neurodivergent friends out there.. this place is extremely crowded, loud, and I would say has an energetic atmosphere. If you're sensitive to noise and crowds, might want to come for lunch or call before coming to make sure it's not too busy that day.

Yelp
A Birthday Celebration at IL Bracco We visited IL Bracco during a birthday weekend trip to Dallas, and it was an overall memorable experience. The restaurant has a romantic vibe, though it was quite busy and a bit loud for the ambiance. Despite having an 8:30 reservation and not being seated until 9:00, the manager made up for it by offering complimentary drinks and their crispy artichoke, which was a nice touch and much appreciated. The food was excellent. I ordered the lasagna, which was a single-layer dish with a fresh, slightly spicy kick--definitely a unique take and very flavorful. My partner had the New York strip steak, which I had to try, and it was cooked to absolute perfection. We also shared a side of cauliflower with a delightful citrusy lemon flavor, which was perfectly prepared. Overall, the service and food left a great impression, and I'll definitely plan to return the next time I'm in town.

Yelp
I've had this restaurant bookmarked for quite a while. I tried it out recently with a friend for dinner on a Wednesday at 6:15pm. It was probably a good idea to have a reservation because they were packed. There were a lot of people sitting down and there were people also waiting for a table. It took us only 1 or 2 mins to sit down. We decided to share a few items: Sicilian Crudo- tasty & fresh, would order again Spicy Gemelli- the sauce/flavor was good.. but I would not order again. The pasta itself was kinda dry, chewy, and seemed undercooked slightly. Cacio e Pepe- would not order again. The entire dish was too dry and all the pasta was just stuck together cuz of the sauce. I wish it was a little creamy. Side of crispy chicken- probably my favorite item lol Server was great. I don't plan to come back.. if I do, I'll try some new items.

Yelp
Went Sunday for lunch and I recommend having a reservation - it was busy but we were still seated immediately. My pasta was very flavorful and a fan favorite for a reason, highly recommend! They also have patio seating available for those wanting to enjoy the weather outside. Although crowded, it was not too loud inside.

Yelp
Upscale gem in the heart of Preston Hollow. Food, service, ambiance, all first class. The portions are large so either share with a friend or plan to take a portion home. They have an excellent wine collection with nice options by the glass. Overall, couldn't be more satisfied, I highly recommend il Bracco and will definitely be back. Side note: make reservations, the restaurant fills up in the evenings and there is usually a wait because guest don't want to leave.

Yelp
I need to say that this place has the best Caesar salad I've ever had. The lettuce is so crisp and fresh. I just had to mention this because it was exceptional. Ok, so on to the rest of the experience. I will say that if you are planning to do more than dinner for the night, I would save this restaurant for a different time, the wait is very long, even with reservations. They have no spot to wait in the front either, so people just crowd around up there and it gets overwhelming. That being said, everything else was good. The pasta dishes here are so tasty and well cooked. I loved the bolognese. And the side dishes were a good complement, but as a stand alone, were just okay. We did also have a bunch of desserts, which are definitely heavy, but tasty. A little on the sweet side as well, so just for your information. Overall, good food, long wait. Definitely a place to have a great meal if you have all night to do so.

Yelp
We recently had a great dinner at il Bracco. As an appetizer we ordered the meatballs, which were made with beef, lamb, & pork, tomato gravy, and reggiano, and they came with housemade focaccia. It was a solid start to our meal. For our entrees, we ordered 2 pastas - the spicy gemelli and cacio e pepe. I thought the pasta itself was outstanding. While both dishes were very good, the standout to me was the spicy gemelli, which was made with gemelli, spicy vodka sauce, basil, and reggiano. As a dessert, we ordered the tiramisu which we also enjoyed. The atmosphere is relatively upscale. Our service was pretty good, but our waiter originally forgot one pasta, so we had to ask for it again and got it when we had already finished the other. It didn't make too much of a difference as we were sharing everything, but it would have been nice to have both at the same time. We will be back for the spicy gemelli!

Yelp
Loved it. Meatballs were the best we've ever had! Super soft and the focaccia is perfect. We tried the sea bass and spicy gemmini with the carrots. Service was wonderful - staff was kind. Would come back.

Yelp
I travel to Dallas often for work, and il Bracco has become my most recent obsession. First thing I will say is GET A RESERVATION! This place is well loved, so even with a reservation I have had to wait to be seated. If you prefer to come sit at the bar, just show up early! The interior is warm and welcoming, upscale in a way that could work for a casual friend catch up or a business meal. All the food here is a hit. The steak tartare is my second favorite steak tartare I've ever had, second only to my favorite restaurant in Paris. I didn't even get a chance to snap a photo of it during my most recent visit because we ate it so quickly! The burger is a sleeper hit here, you wouldn't expect it to be so fantastic but it is so perfectly seasoned and the mix of toppings is a juicy explosion of perfection in every bite. My favorite item here though, the thing I literally crave and keep coming back for, is the chicken picatta. I don't usually order chicken out because it's so easy to cook incorrectly, and I am not sure what they do to this chicken for it to be so perfect every time, but this is the most deliciously prepared chicken dish I am aware of. The kale salad that comes on the side is the perfect pairing to the briney, tender chicken, it's not just garnishing it really is fantastic. The first time I had it I was with a large group sharing plates, and we had to put in a SECOND order of it because everyone loved it so much. I rarely have room for dessert at il bracco because I'm too busy trying not to lick the plate clean, but the pistachio olive oil sundae is my favorite of all the desserts I've tried. In summary, definitely make a res (you may have to look a few weeks in advance) and get the chicken picatta!

Yelp
Waited 30 mins after reservation time to get a table. Wasn't too terrible but something to note. I'll start with the good.. The highlight of the night was the carrots. The ricotta and pistachio sauce paired very well with it. 9/10 The meatballs were pretty good too but about average for expectations. 7/10 The polenta was also solid. 7/10 The chicken piccata was disappointing. The lemon and the flavor of the chicken was not in balance. This is not my favorite dish but my friends who usually like it did not enjoy it either. 5/10 The spicy gemelli was very bad. It must have been an off day. The sauce was good but the pasta itself was dry and chewy. It did not absorb the sauce well at all. We suspect it's undercooked. Very disappointing. 1/10 The bolognese was just as disappointing. It was dry and the ragu was really lackluster. This is usually my favorite dish but it was not done well at all. 3/10 The ambiance is nice but the service was just ok. No one checked to see if we enjoyed our dishes. Forgivable though, the restaurant was very busy so I understand it can be hard amidst the chaos. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience at il Bracco.

Yelp
I take part of the blame myself for booking a 9:30 reservation at a restaurant that closes at 10. That being said, it was NYE so I was not sure if they would have extended hours. We were seated around 9:50 for our 9:30 reservation. The appetizers were great, we had focaccia and crispy Brussels sprouts. The drinks took awhile to come out but it's NYE and the bar was busy so it was not a big deal. We tried to order a second drink and five minutes later were informed the bar was closed. At 10:43, less than an hour after getting seated, the booth cushioned were being stacked while the restaurant staff was complaining about ownership and customers immediately behind me. The mains and salads were not great. I don't feel this opinion was influenced by the atmosphere/ambiance issues. The steak was cooked poorly and everything else was simply ok. At 10:53, roughly an hour after they sat us, the lights were brought up in the restaurant to let the remaining patrons know "you don't have to go home but you can't stay here". The check was brought without offering dessert options. Il Bracco has good food and atmosphere but management of the restaurant seems off. We would give it another try during prime dining hours. I think our experience would have been different. I am not sure what they expected for NYE.

Yelp
Il bracco has been one of my favorite Dallas food spots of late. I ordered the egg plant parm and whipped ricotta, which I crushed! Our waiter was nice and able to accommodate a lot of our requests. We absolutely enjoyed their Italian wine selection. We went on the weekday and it was still popping. Love that vibe sometimes. The challenge is we can't afford to go there every day!

Yelp
The food was PHENOMENAL! The service was fantastic and the ambience was PERFECT!!! Im not huge on Italian food but this place was worth all of the calories! The bar is a happening spot! I will def come back for happy hour. THIS IS THE SPOT YALL!! TRY IT YOU WILL NOT FORGET IT!

Yelp
Delicious Italian dinner while in Dallas! Our server was very friendly and welcoming. We started with the meatballs and carpaccio! The meatballs were so good I could've had that for my meal. We got a few pastas, the branzino, and I had the special which was cioppino! All delicious. We ended up getting talked in to get all 4 desserts since we were a big party. The cheesecake was hands down the best! Would recommend for sure!
google avatar

Yelp
I spent around $120, and it was worth it! The pasta dishes--cacio e pepe and al limone--were delicious. The Mediterranean sea bass and crispy artichoke were also great. The ice cream sundae was fantastic, but the chocolate pudding was a bit too salty. Overall, a wonderful experience; I will definitely return!

Yelp
Great bar to dine. Service is great. Love the meatballs which are good to share. Pasta is great.

Yelp
This place is a total win! I could eat anything on the menu and be happy, but my date? Not so much at first. We were seated within 10 minutes, got drinks and apps right away, and that focaccia? Absolute perfection. I almost ordered another round, but I knew I needed to save room for the main event. When our entrées arrived, mine was amazing, but my date wasn't impressed with hers. Not to any fault of the restaurant she just isn't a fan of vodka sauce in general. The waitress noticed, swooped in, and suggested a new dish. Her second try? Total redemption. Meanwhile, I'd already devoured my plate (self-control, who?) and was awkwardly waiting for her to catch up. Then the manager came through like a rockstar, offering me a free dessert while she finished. A+ for the food, the service, and the vibe. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
We tried this place for dinner recently as it came highly recommended, and it was ok. We were told to make a reservation days in advance. We made a reservation for 8pm, but didn't plan on the rain. We arrived at 0745 just in case we were able to get in early. They were very busy, which was great for them, but not so great for us. We were finally brought to our table at 8:20, after standing outside in the rain (no space inside to stand or at the bar). The table was covered with an umbrella, but with the wind blowing, my wife was getting misted on most of the meal. The combo sandwich, chicken picatta and spicy gemelli were all excellent. The portion sizes matched the price. The food was great, but it was tough to get past the outside seating in the rain. We will try this place again.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
We continue to frequent il Bracco, and love both the food and the vibe. Many times we just sit at the bar, which can be hit or miss because it can get quite crowded. The Italian food is great, and I especially recommend the chicken piccata and the eggplant parmesan. There are also plenty of appetizers and salads to choose from, along with a great wine list and cocktails. Make a reservation well in advance via Open Table.

Yelp
My fiance and I made reservations for an early Sunday dinner and did not regret it at all! We were seated promptly and our waitress was attentive and a sweetheart, overall. The food was delicious as well. We started out with the focaccia and steak tartare. I can agree with others that the tartare is heavy on the Dijon - so I wouldn't get it again but the focaccia was delicious . The bianco Daisy cocktail was also yummy and had a perfect kick . For main dishes, we got the spicy gemelli pasta with crispy chicken and a plaza salad - both of which were very good. Definitely one of the most filling and flavorful salads I've had. We ended with the Italian sundae , which I personally loved though if you're not a fan of olive oil on your ice cream is definitely not for you. The ambiance inside is nice and perfect for a date night. We both agreed we would love to come back .

Yelp
I went to Il Bracco after hearing about it on social media. We had a reservation for lunch on a Saturday but still had to wait 10-15 mins for our table to be ready. They have a nice patio seating with plenty of parking spaces in the area. It was pretty busy when we got there so the service was slow and our waiter wasn't very attentive. The baracco frozen drink was definitely the highlight. The focaccia bread with whipped ricotta was also good but was extremely oily. The bolognese was decent, definitely not the best I've had. Overall I expected more given the reviews and the hype.
google avatar

Kelsey B.

Yelp
Reservation seatings were running behind but the food was good. Best bite was the bolognese. The dirty martini is more martini, less dirty, but in a good way
google avatar

Yelp
Visiting from Los Angeles, we found this spot our last night in Dallas. Perfect way to end our trip. I'd describe the restaurant as elevated casual. Comfortable with a slight sophistication. Think country club vibe perhaps? The food was second to none. Honestly, this is one place I'd return to on future trips. Feel free to steal from our selections. I think we'd get the exact same things again! 1. Bean salad 2. Beef tartar 3. Combo sandwich 4. Chopped salad 5. Spicy gemelli pasta

Yelp
Came to il Bracco with a group of five for a girls' night out at the end of March and we had an excellent time! Our reservation was for 5:30 PM which felt really early for a Saturday dinner but the place was already popping when we arrived. The other girls had been to il Bracco before but it was my first time so we ordered a bunch of things to split. I started with the asti 76 cocktail that was very tasty! The crispy artichokes had an excellent flavor but a tad too much gristle to be truly top tier, but the focaccia and whipped ricotta was excellent. Love that it came with five pieces as well so we could each eat one piece. Both salads were delightful; the chopped salad was super flavorful and the burrata with the seasonal strawberries and rhubarb was light and balanced. I was definitely looking forward to the pastas the most and for the most part, they did not disappoint! My favorites of the night were the spicy gemelli (LOVE a spicy vodka sauce and il Bracco's was truly *chef kiss*) and the cacio e pepe, which came with a wider noodle that had a delectable chew. The pesto rigatoni was also very good and flavorful. The bolognese was fine; the sauce was nothing to write home about, but the pasta itself was also very nice. Al dente perfection all the way! Servers were very helpful in explaining the menu and being prompt with requests/clearing out empty dishes. Ambience was super fun, and though it was crowded it never got so loud that we couldn't hear each other in conversation. Probably helped that we were in one of the corner booths! il Bracco does the classics very well; I can see myself returning whenever I'm in the area and craving Italian food.
google avatar

Natalie C.

Yelp
We had a lovely date. Service team was quick! Would definitely go back and order these items again!
google avatar

Sabrina M.

Yelp
We were craving Italian food and man did this place hit! We went here on a Wednesday for dinner at 7 pm and there was a hour wait. Luckily you can put your name down though so we were able to cut that down by half. We got the focaccia bread and grimelli pasta and both SO good! The service and ambiance was great too. 10/10 would recommend.
google avatar

Andrew W.

Yelp
We have been to Il Bracco in Houston and loved it so we tried it in Dallas! The sandwich was absolutely incredible and very tasty. The salad was not as good but still tasty. It had large chunks of fruits and veggies that were hard to eat unless cut up. We went Sunday after church and it was packed but we were able to get a seat without a reservation! I would come back but would probably explore other restaurants first.
google avatar

John J.

Yelp
Ambiance was lively as always! Service is wonderful at the bar and our table. Hostesses friendly and efficient. It always puts me in a good mood before I even order. Nice wine list with some good chiantis. Food was delicious as usual. Salads are large and sharable. We shared the Tuscan Grains salad - unusual, but delicious we thought. For entrees, the SPICY GEMELLI is one of my favorites and take the server's tip and add a fried chicken breast to it. Great combination I would have never thought of. The roast chicken was complimented by our friends. The only dish the four of us were not excited about was the pesto rigatoni. My wife loves pesto but would not order it again.

Geraldy E.

Yelp
Food is always 10/10. service and ambience is a 10/10 as well . definitely recommend coming here for a date night Drinks are fairly strong

Yelp
Spicy Gemelli Pasta, Chicken Piccata, Pesto Crusted Salmon, Sicilian Crudo, Chocolate Cake I am OBSESSED with this place, and so so grateful it is literally walking distance from where I live. Man this place was crazy crowded and busy on a Friday night, we barely got reservations to come. Every dish was outstanding. Highlights for me were the spicy gemelli pasta and salmon!!! The pasta was nicely al dente, great spicy sauce. The salmon is a lifechanger--so soft and juicy and just perfect. Chicken piccata was great, the kale salad that came with it is a dream. Sicilian crudo was a great start to the meal. Chocolate cake was great. Super nice severs, worth the price tag.

Tonya P.

Yelp
I made reservations for lunch while in North Dallas. It was 37 outside so we could not sit outside, but heat lamps were available. They seated us immediately. We had the house made focaccia bread, chicken piccata with kale salad, and pesto crusted salmon with seasonal vegetables. Service was good and the food was delicious. I would definitely suggest this place for dinner in Dallas.
google avatar

Emily G.

Yelp
Wow, Il Bracco was popping on Friday night! Thankfully we had a reservation because the hostess was saying it was 2.5 hour wait without a reservation. Once we were seated our drinks came out quickly and our server was super attentive about refills and second rounds. Our food was all delicious. Frankly, I've never had a bad meal here. The portions were enough to fill me up, but not be tempted to be overstuffed. Now the next can be a plus or minus depending on your situation- with it being such a busy night the restaurant was a bit noisy. Now, I loved it. I felt like our group could talk and laugh without drawing extra attention, but for others it may be hard to hear if you aren't a loud talked like me. Will definitely be back and from the looks of it, this place isn't slowing down any time soon!

Yelp
This was my first time visiting il Bracco and the experience was truly exceptional. The service and selection of dishes were outstanding. Highly recommend their signature ilBracco frozen drink. It's hard not to order a second one! Parking is easy with plenty of spaces available.

Yelp
Visited il Bracco on a Wednesday evening. I'm not a local and was looking for a nice Italian restaurant that wasn't too pricey, but had good food and ambiance. The restaurant was very crowded for a weeknight. Although we were seated 20 minutes past our reservation time, we enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The wait staff was very friendly and we were promptly served our drinks and entrees. We ordered the Bracco cocktail and a glass of the Failla Pinot Noir. The Bracco was very unique and you could taste the fresh grapefruit. We were happy with the red wine selection as well, it was very smooth. For entrees, we ordered the Cacio e Pepe pasta and Mediterranean Sea Bass. The pasta is made in house and tasted delicious, my only complaint is I wish it was a bigger portion! The black pepper and pecorino romano cheese with hints of lemon was perfectly paired with firm bucatini noodles. The sea bass was well seasoned and flavorful but the best part of this dish for us was the broccolini. Next time, I would order the broccolini as an entree! It was topped with nuts and romano cheese and was cooked to perfection! Overall, I was very happy with my experience. I'm very delighted to have found this restaurant on Yelp. It was a highlight of my short time in Dallas!
google avatar

Jenny K.

Yelp
Friends and I grabbed lunch here after hearing so many good things about the restaurant and it did not disappoint! We got a salad, spicy pasta, the shrimp pasta and a burger! They all looked and tasted freshly made! The only thing that bothered me were the different waiters that kept trying to take away our plates even though we weren't done. Seemed like they were trying to rush us.

Yelp
Trendy and chic choice for Italian in Park Cities, but a bit overrated! Would truly give them 3.5 stars! Ambiance: the interior of the restaurant is very modern and upscale! They have a large bar area that's perfect for after-dinner drinks. Service: we made a reservation for 8:30pm on a Saturday and waited 20 minutes to be seated, which wasn't ideal. Additionally, there is virtually no place to wait for your table, so we constantly felt we were in people's way. Other than those hiccups, our server was very friendly and the food came out fast! Food: Housemade Focaccia - a bit too oily, but certainly delicious! The whipped ricotta on the side was creamy and helped to counteract the oil! Burrata Salad - my favorite item! Super fresh and the citrus perfectly complimented the burrata. Spicy Gemelli - I wish it was a bit spicer! The sauce was too thick and felt heavier than I prefer. Cacio e Pepe - simple and tasty! Nothing extraordinary, but a good option if you typically like Cacio e Pepe. Sides (Polenta, Broccolini, Heirloom Carrots) - all of the sides were savory and delicious! Definitely don't skip out on these! Tiramisu - Perfectly sweet, but nothing special! I found it odd that they didn't have a print out menu of the dessert options and only have 4 choices to choose from. TL;DR - based on how expensive il Bracco is, I had higher expectations. Beware of waiting for your table even if you have a reservation. The Burrata Salad and Sides were the highlights!

Yelp
Had a good time at il Bracco! It was our last meal before we left Dallas and we weren't disappointed. The pasta and focaccia were amazing. We ordered sides but they didn't bring them out so we just had it removed from our bill. They provided us with a complimentary sundae which was so so good. Vanilla ice cream + olive oil + salted pistachios = delicious. Parking lot on the side of the building. The ambience of the restaurant felt fancy but cozy.

Yelp
Seems like a bit of an institution. Great service and good outside seating in those few weeks when that is a pleasurable experience. I think the mushroom Marsala which was ok needs a bit of work, perhaps a lemon to squeeze or some other acidity. Artichokes were really nice.

Yelp
I love a good spicy vodka pasta. il Bracco was really good! I came on a Wednesday afternoon, and it was packed. I sat at the bar because I was by myself, and the bartender was really nice and gave me good food recommendations. I ordered the Caesar, which is a great size even for one person. Sauce coats every single leaf, so it's a really nice option to pair with a heavy pasta. I also ordered their spicy gemelli, which is so good! I also added crispy chicken as a protein. I'm such a big fan of spicy vodka pasta, and it was my first time trying this specific pasta dish. Protein, pasta, and Caesar salad came out to be about $45. I didn't think that was too bad for a nice higher end Italian restaurant in Dallas. I would definitely come back again to try their other options.

Yelp
Decided to grab dinner with a friend and had no trouble making reservations on Resy. When we arrived for our reservation, there was a huge line of people waiting outside and we were told that our table would be ready shortly. However, we checked 15 minutes later and our table still wasn't ready. I think we ended up waiting a total of 20-25 mins for our table so we were not happy when we ultimately got seated. However, the staff was very apologetic and brought us a complimentary fried artichoke appetizer, and we appreciated the gesture! We ended up ordering family style and got the sicilian crudo (very refreshing, enjoyed the capers), meatballs (so tasty and hearty), the spicy gemelli (my favorite, very creamy and delicious). We considered ordering a protein entree but were already so full with just these dishes plus the fried artichoke! Definitely would come back for the pasta!

Yelp
This place is worth visiting!! The energy is high, the people are beautiful, and the food just hits!! It's a tight place filled with people enjoying each other, my type of restaurant. Decor-pretty basic honestly, but you don't even notice it. It's got a large bar in the middle, and an open kitchen in the back. Service-very good Service! I really like our waitress. Food-delicious. The Plaza salad was fantastic!!! I love all layers of flavor it has. Every bite gives you a surprise. It's a large portion, perfect for sharing. Spicy Gemelli was also great!! It's got enough spicy and the sauce is packed with flavor. Really like this place, and I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
This may be my new favorite Italian place. I've looked at this place for years and decided to finally check it out on a random Wednesday around 5:30. Place was packed both outside and inside. There was over an hour wait, just for me - party of 1- but luckily I found a seat at the bar. Service - 10/10. Drinks - 10/10. Food (pasta made in house) - 10/10. Side of broccoli... omg 20/10. Kale salad - 8/10. I'll definitely be back!!

Yelp
Our go to place for great food and great service. We have dinned here several times and have always had a wonderful dinning experience. The food is amazing. We have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The pastas are fresh with delicious sauces. My husband's favorite so far is The Combo sandwich and the Fried Chicken sandwich is delicious too. The service is top notch. The staff is friendly and on top of everything. Our tea glass is never empty. We love Il Bracco!

Yelp
Il Bracco is probably the most recommended Italian restaurant in Dallas, so of course we had to give it a try. We booked an 8:30 reservation on a Friday night. It took us at least 30 minutes past our reservation to be seated. Once seated the service is timely and helpful when reviewing the menu and recommending items. For starters - we ordered the meatballs. The table comes with Focaccia bread - you can ask your waiter to add on the whipped ricotta spread! For main - we ordered the Spicy Gemelli and Bolognese. The spicy gemelli was good, but the sauce felt like it belonged to a different pasta than a gemelli. Skip dessert and go across the street to get gelato. 100% worth it! Overall this is a great place to eat.
