"A new Italian eatery from two restaurant-industry veterans set to debut at Preston Center this spring, its name references the Italian word for 'the bloodhound.' The restaurant will occupy a 3,200-square-foot space at 8416 Preston Center Plaza, with seating for about 100 inside and 50 on a cozy, hedge-bordered patio. The interior aims for an upscale, neutral-toned look using wood, brass, terrazzo, and leather. Much of the menu will be made in-house—bread, pasta, and sauces prepared from scratch—while fish will be flown in daily and the chefs will butcher all menu meats. The beverage program will pair Italian and domestic wines with cocktails that offer Italian twists on classic drinks." - Alaena Hostetter
