Il Convito di Curina

Genuinely one of the best meals of my life. The cheese spread with the bread was one of the most amazing things I've ever tasted. The octopus and duck were so fresh, tender, and cooked to perfection. The sides were delicious without being too rich or overpowering. The tiramisu was amazing; the chocolate shell and caramel were nice touches. The house wine was so good. Prices are very reasonable and unbeatable sunset views over the Tuscan hills. Can't wait to come back again!

Superb restaurant. Very good value for money. The owner is a real passionate sommelier. He has the best Champagne in Italy, and he has prizes to show for it. I dont mean Prosecco, I mean real Champagne, made in the region of Champagne but with help from the owner with local brand. The service is excellent, the food is really well prepared and as always in Tuscany high quality ingredients. If you can you should stay at the residence next door, fab place at a VERY good price. We will come here again for sure.

This was our best meal in Tuscany and with the most breathtaking views!! The food was delicious and the service was top notch. A must visit while in the area!

We had an amazing evening. Great sunset view on the Tuscan Hills, amazing selection of local, traditional Tuscan food with a modern twist and great service. Happy to recommend to any of my friends and family.

We stayed three nights at villa Curina and ate dinner at the restaurant I’ll Convento di Curina twice. The food was top notch. We tried the risotto, the T-bone steak, the pici, the pappardelle, and the guinea fowl leg. All we’re delicious. Andrea and Carim were wonderful hosts. We will be back.

Bad experience with the man in charge. My husband and I are staying at the Villa Curina Resort and today we decided to try the hotel’s restaurant ‘Il convito di Curina’. My husband was feeling under the wheather so we just wanted to order one main course and go to bed. When we told who we assume is the person in charge of the restaurant what we wanted to order (one main course per person) he told us we had to order two per person because, and i quote, ‘this is not a fast food, this is a restaurant’, ‘if you don’t like it you can leave’ (mmm hello?) We were embarrassed since he started being quite rude in front of the whole restaurant. We have luckily been to many restaurants and none has this ridiculous policy. If someone is not feeling well and they want to order one course no one should force him to order two. In the end I ended up having 2 and my husband one. Bear in mind this is the only option to have dinner at the hotel so if you are not in the mood for a big dinner you’re not welcome… The food was good and the waiters friendly and polite, despite for the boss which is a shame. Very unhappy with this service in general, really annoyed our evening…

The restaurant owner, Andrea, his staff and chefs were brilliant. The authentic local food selection tasted great and was nicely prepared. The view from the panoramic terrace, in particular, was breathtaking and there is a nice atmosphere inside the restaurant too. Great wine list which, along with the food, was well priced and good value. The lasagna, steak and all of the desserts that we tried were fantastic. Thanks again!

Food is ok ….. Service … not so great The maitre d’hôtel is an arrogant person Nobody ask us if our steak and our meal was ok …. Then i ask to talk to the maitre d’hôtel ….. When he show off he arrived with a defensive attitude He told me that the cow they serve here is like that !!!!! ?????? Like the cow was hit by a car ???? Serious ????? I didnt have a chance to explain anything ! He said «  i wont chage you ! «  and left ….. Thank you … i didnt want to pay Nothing …. I just wanted to find a kind of arrangement …. But is ego was so big that he didnt want to look bad …. Si bad because all other server , hôtel personnel where so Nice ….. This person , the somelier/ maître d’hôtel ruine all thé good work of all others Thank you for the service of everybody ! Keep your good work
