My granddaughter is visiting and I wanted her to see some of Fort Worth so we walked around near Sundance Square. She wanted Italian and found il Modo in the Kimpton Harper hotel. It was a short walk down a lovely street. Lunch on this Saturday wasn't busy so we were seated right away. I tried the Aperol Spritz $11 and it was really nice. We shared some calamari $18 (not real tasty but not overly bland) and Meatballs $16 (larger than I expected and a little too much sauce, which is better than dry). I loved the seating. I prefer to sit in a booth but my granddaughter grabbed it. My seat was so comfortable that I didn't mind it a bit! We could see a bit of the street out the windows, really nice. She ordered a margherita pizza $15 but it seemed each time she tried to pick up a slice, all the toppings came off, so it was a little clumsy to eat but she enjoyed the flavors. We each enjoyed dessert - I had the cannoli $9. It was good and the fruit served with it was fresh. She ordered the creme brulee $10 and I had a taste - yum! The custard was lovely and the topping crusted perfectly. I appreciate a little more attention when a restaurant isn't busy and our server checked on us often. I believe even the manager passed by and asked how everything was. So I have to give this visit 5 stars - they checked all my boxes for good food, good service and a nice atmosphere. I live in Dallas, I need to check if we have an il Modo here!

We celebrated my birthday at il Modo and had an incredible experience. The atmosphere is elegant, the service was top-tier, and the food — especially the lobster ravioli— was unforgettable. Our server Ryan was amazing: friendly, attentive, and made the evening feel truly special, even engaging with our kids. We started with the burrata and artichokes, and ended with birthday cannoli that was beautifully presented and delicious. A perfect night topped off with city views from the 24th floor. We’ll definitely be back. Next time for a date night!

Food was so damn good I ate two plates of food the steak and eggs and waffles that were to die for…. The best part of the experience was our bartender Liz. She funny very personable and over all bad ass!!!!

The Chop Salad, Rabbit Gnocchi & Parried with a Pinot Noir - Franco Serra🍷 was by far the best dining/eating experience I’ve ever had in Ft Worth!

Google
We absolutely loved our experience here! The food was outstanding and the service was warm and attentive from start to finish. The linguini was perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor, while the gnocchi was light, pillowy, and absolutely delicious. Every bite tasted fresh and homemade. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the service shine equally, but this restaurant delivered on both. We left happy, full, and already planning our next visit!

Google
One of the best places for dinner! everything was phenomenal! server Lexi being the sweetest and having great energy, to the appetizers, entrees and dessert, everything was amazing. Will definitely be back. The pasta room is a great photo opportunity as well!

Google
Had an amazing experience here! Started with the beetroot salad which was perfectly complimented by the crunchy kale in it. For the main course it was the wild mushroom fettuccine which was really light, not over the top perfectly cooked! My friend had the bone marrow appetizer and loved it too. For dessert we had the pistachio cream cake, which was unbelievably light, and the exact amount of sweet. Would love to visit again, special thanks to the Bartender who helped us in selecting dishes. Kudos for the quick service and seating!

Google
Believe the reviews. This place is almost perfect. Where it lacks is the wait times and that can ruin it for anyone. Food tastes phenomenal. Staff is very friendly. A table for two should not take 2+ hours for them to eat/ drink (dinner) and at any given time there should be no empty glasses of (cocktails/ beverages) especially if the food is taking a long time to come out. It definitely seemed like the manager was concerned and apologetic about the delays but it seems like it’s a pattern here (reading other reviews) so how do you fix it? We will go back and dine some more. Again the food was amazing. Some of the best tasting food we have had in Fort Worth and that says a lot because we eat lots of places. How does iL Modo fix the inconsistencies to make this a destination? I will try again to see what they come up with!

Yelp
Is this place bad? No! It tastes decent. Is this place good? Eh. I paid $42 for an incredibly salty and mid tasting salmon dish that gave me stomach pain. I paid $16 dollars for 3 small sized meatballs that had the equivalent taste of something I could buy at Costco. Service was not bad. Service was eh. Waited 45 min for food with minimal checkups from the waiter. Not bad but not good. The place is not bad. The ambience is decent. Location is great. But at the end of the day, they are charging prices that are a complete joke for the eh quality of food and eh service. Do not come here unless you like paying 50% more for "eh".

Yelp
An absolute must try! A hidden gem in downtown Fort Worth. Valet for $10 in front, the hostess was very kind and helpful when I called for a last minute reservation. They were very accommodating and the food was perfect!

Yelp
My lady and I were feeling in the mood for Italian and decided to come here, as it was close to where we live and seemed to have good reviews. We were both very pleasantly surprised. The drinks were very good and the service was top notch. As a New Yorker who has been on the search for a good pizza since moving to Texas several years ago, I think the pizza left much to be desired, but that's okay. The meatballs were excellent and the veal cheek was exceptional. Overall would definitely recommend and we will be back.
google avatar

Heather H.

Yelp
Real carbonara is not made with raw egg yolk on top. That's disgusting. Why don't you do some more research about your Italian food? I lived there for seven years and never seen such a disgusting presentation.
google avatar

Alondrah V.

Yelp
The service was really good which is why I'm giving the overall review 2 stars but I was not impressed with the food or the drinks. We had the meatballs and the sauce on them and the pasta tasted funny and left a weird almost rubbery feeling in my mouth. The drink was not the best and was very sweet and normally I like sweet drinks but this was very sweet and it tasted like straight vodka. I wouldn't recommend unfortunately.

Yelp
Located on the ground floor of the Kimpton Harper hotel, this restaurant gave me the cafe vibe more than a restaurant. I've only had the chance to have breakfast there but their menu includes brunch items. I ordered the Il Modo Frittata. Was worried about the goat cheese --- if it would have a lot of it, but was assured by the server that it's not overpowering and she was right! I actually liked this dish a lot! It had that sweet taste from the squash and savory from the goat cheese. The goat cheese was served crumbled on top, so you can pick it out if you don't want too much of it (or you could probably ask the kitchen to serve it on the side). All the ingredients worked well together so don't dismiss goat cheese if you haven't tried it. The sage added a nice finishing taste to the frittata. Served with roasted potatoes. Staff were friendly. Service was a bit slow, but I wasn't in a hurry that morning so all good.

Yelp
Ah,A couple of years ago, I had a terrible experience at il Modo and swore I would not go back. Recently, my date switched our dinner plans there last minute and I am so glad he did. Everything was exceptional this time: delicious food, great wine, and amazing service (shoutout to Samantha!). Looks like my first visit was just an off night and this one completely won me over.

Yelp
We had an outstanding breakfast at Il Modo. Hubby ordered the Il Modo breakfast and I tried a piece of his bacon. Soooo good. I ordered the shakshuka and Tuscan potatoes. Both were amazing! I could eat those delicious potatoes everyday! Our server and hostess were over the top sweet and helpful. I really like the atmosphere and think it would be a great place for date night and dinner.

Paul M.

Yelp
We had a fantastic dinner tonight, it started off with an Aperol Margarita at the bar while we waited for a table. For an appetizer we shared a IL Modo Chopped Salad and a Free Form Focaccia, and the Boursin butter for the Focaccia was AMAZING. For our main dishes we shared Linguine with chicken and the Malfadine also with chicken. We absolutely loved the Linguine, and while the Malfadine was good we both preferred the linguine, it was really delicious. I didn't have a dessert but my girlfriend had the Crème Brûlée, and she loved every bite. The restaurant itself is cozy, clean, and well run. The manager, bartender, server, and person bussing tables were all very kind and made sure we were well taken care of at all times during our visit. Given another opportunity I would definitely eat here again.

Yelp
We came here mainly for convenience since we were staying at the Harper which is attached to the restaurant. We started out with the Calamari and Meatballs, we've had better calamari elsewhere, it honestly sounded good, but kind of regretted ordering it. The meatballs on the other had were delicious. The sauce was so fresh and they were so tender! By the time we ready ready to order any entrees, I had already been close to being full, so my husband and I shared the Branzino and got a side of potatoes and some kale which isn't pictured. The fish was good, I enjoyed it a lot, my husband wasn't too keen on it. The potatoes were a little bit of a miss for me, it was overly salty and needed a little more time to cook. I love the side of kale though. We also got some Tiramisu to take back to our room, and just like the calamari, I've had better elsewhere. Plus it just seemed like it was a bit sloppy when it came to boxing it up.

Yelp
Stopped by for breakfast/brunch on Christmas Day....i know, I hate that we did this, but due to certain circumstances, it was our first time ever to visit a restaurant on Christmas Day. Overall our experience was great! The staff was wonderful and our waiter Henry was fabulous! Beautiful space and lovely decor! The espresso martini was very well balanced and smooth! The shakshuka was delicious and flavorful my husband had the Il Modo breakfast with sausage and it was tasty. The flavor of the sausage was not overpowering and he enjoyed that. We plan on visiting for dinner one day!

Yelp
This place was delicious! We came in here on a Saturday night no reservations but luckily there were 2 seats at the bar. We ordered the pork belly and mussel to start both were fantastic. The pork belly melted in our mouths and the broth the mussels were in was spicy, but so good. We decided to split the main course so we had the trottole pasta with spicy sausage and spinach, also delicious. The service was good at the bar and our server was helpful, knowledgeable of the menu and nice. Even though it's part of a hotel it felt more like a stand alone restaurant and a great ambiance. We will be coming back.
google avatar

Wren T.

Yelp
gluten-free penne pasta with meat sauce was delicious. It would be nice to have more gluten-free options. A lot of restaurants have gf pizza, etc. It's so easy to buy the other gluten-free pasta options.

Yelp
We went to il Modo before seeing a show at Bass Hall. The location is perfect for a nice dinner before going to the theatre. The ambience is really nice and would make for a good date night spot. I ordered the burrata appetizer and a side of brussel sprouts for my entree. The burrata was delicious, but I would not order the sprouts again. They were a little too salty and soggy. Our server was polite and efficient and was happy to offer suggestions, but otherwise gave us space to enjoy our meal. I'd come back to il Modo again!
google avatar

Matthew S.

Yelp
I have been here several times over the past couple of months and will continue every time I am in town. Every meal has been excellent, Ryan and Patrick have always treated me like family and the owner always stops by to say hello and tell me how much he appreciates me coming in. Make sure to make reservations, otherwise you may not get a chance to enjoy this wonderful spot.

Yelp
Nestled in the heart of downtown, this Italian restaurant promises an authentic culinary experience. While food largely lived up to expectations, the experience was marred by slow service that tested the limits of our patience. We were greeted by the host and had to wait even though we had a reservation to celebrate my birthday. Upon being seated, we sat well over 12 mins before our server made introductions. We ordered two chopped salads, devoured the bread, share the raviolo and the calabrese pizza. While our server was very nice and continuously updated us and apologized, it was just very slow, and the restaurant wasn't even packed. The table next to us and the table beside it was dirty most of our dining experience and wasn't bussed or flipped for a new party. I was not a fan of the seating at all. I felt like I was dining with a random family instead of a private table. Despite the slow service, the staff's friendly demeanor and the quality of the food somewhat mitigated our frustration. If you're willing to exercise some patience for the sake of a great meal, this downtown spot is worth a visit.

Yelp
Best and most friendly service (thank you Jess)! We originally tried the top floor of the Klimpton, but there was very little food, so we went back to Il Modo at street level. The menu has a little of everything Italian, so we ventured in. Wine list has great selection, from ultra top Italian and Spanish to well-priced Malbecs. We ordered the Red Schooner and really enjoyed it! For food, their bread is soft and flavorful, and offered with a balsamic and olive oil dip. We ordered the Gnocci (highly recommended), the maffaldini (came out salty the first time but Jesse immediately took it back and had it re-made.) Also ordered the Brussels Sprouts which are well seasoned and cooked. For dessert Jesse recommended the cannoli and they were perfect! Ask for Jesse by name, and you will have impeccable service! Hoping to come back soon!!

Yelp
I'm confused by the negative reviews. Firstly, the restaurant is quaint and the workers are polite. Their pork belly I would put against any in the entire nation, incredible. Their meatballs were fantastic and full of flavor. Their mussels were incredible but the juice is insane! The trottole was salivating. We will come back. Give her a try!

Yelp
If you've ever wondered what it might be like to dine inside a West Elm, this is the place for you. Looking around at the vibe and decor, you'll forget you're in a restaurant. The service was quick and efficient. As far as the food: the pasta and bread are made from scratch, and it shows in the quality. The bread was fluffy and perfectly moist. You're given an appetizer of bread slices with oil and balsamic for dipping. With good bread comes great pizza crust: the pizza crust is also thick and fluffy with a thin layer of crispiness on the edge. Both the Margherita and Bianco pizzas had balanced flavor- not too much sauce, not too much cheese. The Bucatini pasta was classic, with thick and soft decadent noodles. The pecorino and pepper accented the pasta without being overpowering. The Aperol Spritz tasted fresh squeezed and refreshing! Lots of people complain about parking. There is street parking nearby (if you can find an available space) and some garages a couple blocks away. Valet is $10, and if you want to pay with card you have to go up to the 24th floor of the building and pay there. The valet driver was also slow and it took me almost 20 minutes to get my car. Our waiter also brought out a wonderful, complimentary cannoli with fresh fruit as a birthday treat (we were there celebrating). What a nice surprise!
google avatar

Asma S.

Yelp
Surprised to see some lesser stars here because we had a great dinner experience tonight. It started with valet who were prompt and so kind - one of the guys walked me all the way to the door with his umbrella because mine wouldn't open. Pretty quiet around 5 on Friday so we had a peaceful seating. Our hostess was so sweet and our server Ryan really made the entire night. He was so kind and positive, had the best energy and truly the best recommendations. The bread was simple and the olive oil and balsamic glaze were a great way to kick off the meal. We started with the octopus which came with the crispiest potatoes and garnishes. It was charred to perfection and seasoned just as well. For entrees, we split the swordfish and agnolotti. Both were to die for. The fish was so tender and the mushrooms were so flavorful. The pasta - while different sizes - was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce was so buttery and lemony. We ended the meal with the cannoli and it was absolutely fantastic. Tons of chocolate, berries and sauce to seal the deal. The filling was amazing and included plenty mini chocolate chips. We were so full by this point - we couldn't have another bite. The restrooms weren't stocked with enough paper so that kind of surprised me but the restaurant itself was so beautiful and well decorated - they matched the vibe in every other room as well. Valet took quite a bit longer on our way out as dinner service started to amp up and hotel guests started rolling in to check in. Otherwise, everything was perfect and I cannot wait to come back and try some different things.

Yelp
Went here for a birthday dinner with and had a wonderful time. Everything from the ambiance, service, and food was incredible. Our server was knowledgeable about all of the dishes and specials and very attentive to us, additionally the manager brought our pasta dishes out and greeted us and was so kind. The food was 10/10, each dish we ordered was delicious. Favorite dishes: - burrata - Garganelli pasta (we added shrimp with the suggestion from our server and that was the right call, so good!!) - tiramisu... just get it. It was rich, delicious, and the perfect amount of sweet. I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions or date night dinner.

Yelp
Excellent food, service and ambience. I recommend for a business dinner or dinner date as well as dinner with friends. Pasta made in house. All fresh and flavorful. Good wine selection. Enjoyed my visits there and strongly recommend

Yelp
Casual Italian and brunch restaurant in the Kimpton Hotel. Service was good at brunch, and the food was served quickly. I tried the brunch pizza, and it was interesting. It had a lot of bacon on it! I didn't particularly care for the nearly raw egg yolk in the middle. My husband had the steak and eggs, and he said it was good, although the steak needed more seasoning. The coffee was good, although the cups were too small.
google avatar

Tobie C.

Yelp
Went for Sunday brunch around noon. Was seated quickly. Really nice atmosphere to sit, relax, and chat. Great, friendly service. The lemon waffles were amazing, light and fluffy, not too lemony. Also got a side of bacon that was tasty. Ordered the mimosa tower and the blackberry was my favorite but the peach was also very nice. Overall it was a lovely place for Sunday brunch and I'd love to go back and try more.
google avatar

Daniella M.

Yelp
First time coming to this place, you can tell they use quality products, service is beautiful, 100% recommended!

Kaitlyn S.

Yelp
If 10 stars was possible I'd also list it. Hands down the best date night we've had. The ambiance was just what one would want for an intimate night with someone special, it could also double as a great place to invite friends for a girls night out. The food was to die for, and is something unlike anything else in Fort Worth. They have a seasonal menu, but the rigatoni remains year round. The meatballs are a must, you won't regret it! Patrick provided excellent service! Just what we would have wanted for a Valentine's date. He provided great recommendations and will definitely be on the top of our request list.
google avatar

Jasmine V.

Yelp
The restaurant was nice overall. I would come here again if I'm just looking for an Italian place to stop by. The rigatoni was good I would get that or the risotto with scallops! Between the two risotto with scallops, but I wished there was more scallops. They give you three. The price is slightly higher than most, for the price I would rather go to Osteria Muro. Not bad for Fort Worth.

Bev U.

Yelp
I cannot complain about the wait because we did not have a reservation. We were seated, we ordered drinks and an appetizer. The beef tartar took a little longer than expected but it was excellent. My adult children ordered the Capellini and the Rigatoni. My son thought he should have gotten more on the Rigatoni. I order the Chef's feature pizza. We all thought everything was fantastic. Service was on point. Had a wonderful time. Yes, it is a little pricey but it is in downtown and at a hotel.

Andrea W.

Yelp
Super accommodating staff. Nice ambience - GREAT FOOD! we enjoyed a graduation dinner with cocktails on the 24th floor. Everything was relaxed and so focused on our event. We were grateful!
google avatar

Alizae L.

Yelp
Valet parking was very busy, I had to circle around twice in order to be able to use the service. Which is not their fault but just a heads up if you are looking for the restaurant and for parking. The restaurant was nice inside, very clean, very busy. I ordered the linguine but I was not a fan at all. There was no flavor... I only tasted the egg yolk. I probably wouldn't come back or recommend this place.
google avatar

Shelly S.

Yelp
We got the breakfast voucher from staying at the Kimpton hotel which is $16. They credit that amount towards your bill when you go get breakfast so it's really not a deal. It's an actual sit-down breakfast not a buffet. Overall the food was surprisingly good for a hotel. We will definitely be back. Report card: Service - A: it can be a little slow, so give yourself some extra time. Our food came out hot which was worth the wait. Waitresses were really nice. Food: B+ - Breakfast sandwich B+ - Omelette A+ - Malted waffles (syrup is coffee flavor!!) A+ - Breakfast linguine (so flavorful!) A++ - brunch pizza (with eggs scrambled on top) delicious and had a yummy buttery breakfast-y taste! Only thing missing was turkey sausage. Prices - A-: A little pricey but worth it for sit down good quality food.
google avatar

Joshua O.

Yelp
One of the fluffiest omelets I have ever had. Opt'd to sub veggies and no problem. Service is great and the bartender overheard us talking about mimosas and just brought them. The decor in the restaurant and rooms of the Kimpton are beautiful. Slightly modern, a ring of mid century. Will be back when I come back to the DFW area. Pictures of the hotel room below. I forgot to get pics of the food, which I never forget. Except now hehe

Yelp
The porterhouse had no flavor. The asparagus tasted like lavender. Very disappointing. The restaurant was pretty. This was the most disappointing steak that I've had in Texas. No flavor at all. We ordered medium, but the char was a bit much. It was burnt. This is a one and done.

Ravin G.

Yelp
We went for my husbands birthday and the food and ambiance was amazing. It was candlelit! Real authentic Italian taste and fresh pasta. We started with the yummy espresso martini (I ordered two). Our starter included the wedding soup and meatballs and it didn't disappoint full of flavor. Our name dishes were the ravioli and the gnocchi and it was fresh and had a diverse range of taste. The tiramisu was served in a cup with a candle for a perfect touch. The waitress was very engaging and friendly! Will go again.

Yelp
Delicious food! We found this lovely restaurant on Yelp looking for dinner before the symphony at Bass Hall. We were seated right away without a reservation. Service was quick and food was delicious. We split an appetizer and a pasta entree and each had plenty enough food. And made the symphony with time to spare. So much better than the 'factory' place around the corner.

Maddie S.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Fort Worth! Perfect date night spot, love the food and the staff is so friendly!

Yelp
So three of us went to il Modo a few nights ago. We wanted to try a lot of stuff so we over ordered. We started with the Cicchetti, beets and burrata. The cicchetti is a charcuterie board with a nice portion of each item that is shareable. They also brought some delicious focaccia with olive oil and balsamic. The beets were good and fresh. Also, the martinis were good, not great, but are about 20 dollars each and are a small pour. Burrata was very good! I wasn't a huge fan of the dark cherries they put with it. Very sweet and overbearing for such a mild, soft cheese. Go easy on the cherries until you try a little. Before I go on any further I'd like to add that our server was super sweet and it appeared the staff works as a good team. The gnocchi was very flavorful and had good texture. The bucatini was tasty and well balanced. The risotto was very bland. I asked for some salt and pepper to try to revive it but it didn't seem to help at all. I'd pass on the risotto next time. We each ordered a dessert. I got the tiramisu. They make it fresh every day and it tastes like it. No flavor of brandy (alcohol) but fresh nonetheless. We also tried the chocolate gelato and it was rich and creamy. The pistachio panna cotta was sweet and creamy with a little pistachio crunch. Really good. I like the ambiance of this place too. Cool tile floors laid in an almost optical illusion pattern. There were not many people eating there that night. A couple people at the bar and about 4 tables of people. I'm sure weekends are much busier. You're probably wondering why I gave 3 stars... I was really disappointed with the risotto. It was such a bland letdown and it couldn't be fixed. Wish the cocktails were a little better value for half a pour. I guess that's just the way things are going these days? The food wasn't overly expensive so go give it try and decide for yourself. Mostly I felt like the food was good but not great except for the bread and flavorful gnocchi.

Yelp
I loved trying il modo with our family. I wish we had had a different server to guide us through the menu and portion sizes. She billed it as family style - but I don't think the portion sizes (especially the pasta portions) were large enough to be considered family style. The ambiance was super loud and hard to hear anyone at our table. I did enjoy everything we ate - I just don't think the experience was worth the price tag.
google avatar

Sergio M.

Yelp
I loved everything about the restaurant. Lets start with the service. Excellent, professional staff and pleasant waitress. The food was amazing, the portions were perfect for anyone hungry or not. The environment was calming and enjoyable. The light setting was not to bright or dull. Just right that comforting feel. Thank you il Modo, for doing it right.
google avatar

Felicia C.

Yelp
Such a cute vibe in here and the food and drinks were fantastic! We went for my friends birthday and it was such a fun time for girls dinner.
google avatar

Barb C.

Yelp
It was an average experience at a more expensive price. The service was fair: the waiter never asked why we were here even though he knew it was our first time (my Birthday). The food was decent, though my fish was too salty and the fried onions were stale. It made our Bass Hall evening not quite as enjoyable. Great location, average service and food.
google avatar

Ellis J.

Yelp
The bartender charged me on my card after I paid her in cash. Paid $100 for two drinks. Outrageous.

Dawn B.

Yelp
The food and service here was amazing I cannot wait to go back. I had the Rigatoni and I am not a big red sauce person but this was worth it.

J K.

Yelp
I only had breakfast here so, I am not certain how lunch or dinner service fare. The positive is that the food was good. The negative is that the service is abysmal. The restaurant was practically empty but wait staff seem completely uninterested in serving and when they are not uninterested, they are talking to one another and ignoring the customers. I was given cold coffee and sat with any empty cup for quite awhile before deciding to get up and serve myself. The decor is elegant and relaxed. The low level of service is shocking for a boutique style hotel.

Samantha G.

Yelp
Let's start with the positives! Great wine selection, great service (THANKS LEXEIGH) and a good ambiance! However, food was not what we expected it to be. Plating and presentation was beautiful, but the food was just ok. Here's what we had: Appetizer -- Carpaccio -- Our favorite part to the meal and gave us high hopes! Delicious, layered flavor. Main Courses -- Bucatini with Meatball -- Meatball was excellent! Pasta and sauce were cooked beautifully. Could have used more flavor depth. Main Course -- Linguine -- This was the biggest disappointment. Lackluster flavor up front and the pasta was overdone a bit. The sauce was very mild and developed into a smooth, calm finish, but there was not much flavor upfront. Dessert -- Tiramisu -- YUM! Very delicious. Only complaint here was plating...it is served in a small wine glass, this just made it hard to hold and eat. But was so delicious! Drinks -- If You See Kay Red Blend -- Mild bodied, paired well with the appetizer and the Bucatini. Thanks again to Lexeigh for the amazing service. She recommended that we visit the rooftop bar (we may return for that!) and she made our experience great.

Yelp
Came here with some business partners. Drinks were delish at the bar. The free bread was so fresh and amazing. We ordered meatballs, calimari, squid, burrata. Meatballs are half size so wayy overpriced but delish. Lots of us ordered the linguine with clams. The dish was a failure it had ZERO taste needed salt or something. But flavor would be nice. My friend had the filet it was a little chewy and also needed a salt or sauce. Lacked flavor.

Yelp
I went last night with several other colleagues. Service was ok. He tried, although pushy (we are in the food service business, so I'm sure we are too picky). My only real complaint was that I ordered a medium rare steak, and it came out well done/charred. I didn't say anything at the time because we had already waited so long to get the food. Seasoned well. The other people in my party loved their food. But they weren't impressed by the waiter, because he kept suggesting their wine tastes were bad.

Yelp
We had a great experience at Il Modo. Valeting at the hotel is so easy ($8 + tip). We were sat immediately when we arrived. Meatball appetizer was so good. I had lobster risotto & my husband had the agnolotti. Both were fantastic. We ordered an unknown bottle of Italian white & it was a really good find, reasonably priced. Don't miss the cannolis for dessert!
