Il Pesce Cucina at Eataly L.A.

I had read a ton of negative reviews on Yelp about how terrible the service was here. My experience was the complete opposite of anything I've read. Maybe they've cleaned up their act, or maybe I got lucky since I went on a quiet Tuesday night? Not sure, but really the service we received was awesome. Food was good, not amazing for the price. Total bill was over $100 for 2 appetizers and 2 pastas. I'm okay with paying for great quality food but I didn't think the taste equated to what we paid. Either way, I think the place is worth trying if you're looking to switch things up when at Eataly.

Mussels so plump and juicy you'll wonder why no one else knows how to do this. Then toasted artisan bread slices topped with olive oil and garlic perfect for soaking up the heavenly sauce that had some tiny sprigs of dill floating in it. This was the appetizer! Main course: swordfish with a texture that's firm AND still comes apart with a soft bite while letting some of the natural juices dance on your tongue. Slather some of the ever so slightly acidic and complex sauce on a forkful. On the plate, 12 halves of roasted skin on tiny potato rounds, also good for sauce slathering. Short walk one story down still inside Eataly, got a fresh cannoli with pistachios mixed into the traditional sweet ricotta filling, hand stuffed into a fresh, firm and crunchy shell. Yum. Service, impeccable - there when you catch their watchful eye - and knowledgeable.they've actually eaten everything on the menu including the daily Price Fixe lunch. For the items mentioned here, $25. (plus $4 extra because I chose the mussel appetizer)

I haven't walked out of a restaurant in years, but I sure did here after getting the most horrible, seething attitude from the food runner! The food she brought was not what we ordered and when we let her know, she came at us with a spiteful tone telling us she just brings us what she's told to and that it's not her fault and walked away. She came back a minute latter and snatched the plate away from us mumbling something we didn't quite understand. While this may have not been the crime of the century, it completely ruined the mood and the otherwise good time we were having. We decided to leave, which was unfortunate as the food looked pretty good. We quickly explained to the server what happened, who was apologetic and went to find her manager. I was done with them but my dining partner spoke with the server and manager for.a minute when the food runner came by, realized they were talking about her and claimed that she didn't do anything, with the same spiteful tone, which helped seal our case. It's amazing what one employee can do to ruin what seemed to be an otherwise good operation, but I will never go back.

I wasn’t impressed with the restaurant. We were seated outside however their heaters were not evenly distributed throughout the patio and our table had none while others had two on both sides. I got a blanket to keep me warm. I asked twice for another one but never got it because they said they ran out of them but no one cared to bring me one when the table next to us left. It took us a while to order food and get a bill after our meal. As for the food, we ordered tuna crudo which was ok ( not bad but not great, just average) and three pastas ( with sardines, clams and a simple one with olive oil). The one with olive oil tasted very plain and was very dry for our taste. The server gladly took it away and removed it from the bill which was very nice of them. So we ordered Manhattan chowder instead. It had a lot of clams but lacked substance - just had broth but no potatoes, onions, carrots, celery. I may give it another try and order fish next time but wouldn’t come back for pasta and crudo.

Place was doing pretty well on its opening week. The CA Times was there snapping photos and right now things seem pretty positive for the new Tony's Darts away. Its a good thing too, because the beer selection (and price) is better than anywhere else in Burbank, and the food is excellent as well. The menu is small, but we tried the sweet fries, potato chips and a couple sausages and it was all really good, if not outstanding.

Came here during DineLA deal and this place offers amazing selections for the event. For $25, you receive an appetizer and an entree. We sat at the outdoor area and it had heat lamps to keep you warm. Friendly staffs and food came out fairly quick. Dishes had distinct flavor and tasted great. We also ordered dessert and found same item in the market section for $4 less. Overall, it's a great restaurant and I'll definitely come back in the future.

We ordered a grilled snapper without asking for the price and the menu did not have the price. The fish was OK, the salmon was much better. The bill came out showing 50 for the 1.5 pound whole snapper grilled. Seriously not worth it.

Despite , Many open tables, we were asks to wait. We even offered to sit at two of the many open seats at the bar. That was not possible. 30 minute wait. We were welcome to shop and browse while wait. Clearly a strategy to get us to spend more money. After all hungry guests are probably going to buy something. Food was excellent, it service was off. Apart from the staff running around and seeming stressed despite not filling tables, they were also not terribly informed and had to double check on fish specials. Odd. Then , it took over 20 minutes to settle the bill, our waiter took it and then moved to other tables to take orders. Annoying! finally, if you’ve spent some time at the mall. You’ll find it is$30 to park! With validation!,,, true it is not the restaurants fault the ,all charges so ,I have, but this should have been a consideration before locating in such an expensive location cut off from 5he community with other parking options. So while the food was high quality, plentiful, it is annoying to be wait listed to encourage shopping and parking was a real drag.

I don't understand the low ratings here. This place is huge and has so much to offer! Located at Century City Mall, it's a one-stop shop for all things Italian. The first floor greets you with inviting café and gelato counters, and from there, a staircase takes you up to a full grocery store packed with Italian goodies--from desserts to wines, fresh produce, and more. You'll even find several food stalls including pizza, meat & cheese stall, and Italian sandwiches. We didn't get to try any this time but we will definitely be back. Plus there are two restaurants upstairs with a great view of the area! Just a heads-up--there's no parking validation, which is pretty typical for most spots in the mall, but it's still worth it! And while it's labeled as an Italian restaurant, most people know this place more for its upscale Italian market. It was buzzing with foot traffic, and you'll spot plenty of posh locals exploring. Signs throughout the store help guide you on where all the products come from, so it's easy to navigate. All in all, if you're an Italian food lover, this is a spot you can't miss! It was our first visit to this location and it definitely left a lasting impression! What's not to love?!

Located in the corner of the Century City Mall next to Macys, Eataly's ground floor has a pizza eatery and gelato shop and upstairs you'll find a market with different options for hot food. The market area is really nice - they have a bread counter with focaccia sandwiches premade that you can eat there or take home. Also a mozzarella counter, a hot foods counter, dessert counter and several fridges filled with pre-packed dishes (sauces, salads, pasta etc). Plenty of sweets and chocolates before you head to the checkout section. I bought two sandwiches from the bread counter (focaccia mortadella and spinach and ricotta) for $30, a loaf of bread for $6, Brussels sprout and hazelnut salad for $9, and a berry panna cotta for $17. Everything was good but for this price I'd rather go to a local restaurant for a good Italian sandwich, honestly.

What's the vibe? Dog, dog, and more dog. I've never seen so many mangy mutts outside a kennel or dog park in my life. Given that dogs don't belong around fresh and prepared food for scientifically proven reasons, the health department apparently doesn't give a rip. And the place is crowded enough without having to avoid dogs and leashes. Five stars for the freshly prepared food, groceries, beverages, and overall experience, but minus two for all the goddam dogs that I guess are too privileged to stay at home for a while -- or their owners are too insecure without them. What if everyone brought their animal friends? I'd just love to see the place riddled with goats, lizards, snakes, and pigs!

EATALY is a destination in and of itself. They are their own little food hall. There is a pastry shop, a bread shop, a cheese shop, a pasta shop... you get the idea. The ROSTICCERIA is like a deli where we got EATALY's version of the Turkey Sandwich. Plain butter and parmesan and cream pasta for the kids. Italian version of grilled cheese sandwich is also very good. Caprese salad is delicious. Shrimp and orzo pasta from the refrigerated shelf was delicious. Service was fast. Lots of chairs and tables available to enjoy our food.

Great experience walking into this place man everything just smells amazing. I feel like people forget there are multiple restaurants inside. I came here for a boys lunch our waiter helped us out with choosing some delicious items. The pasta and pizza are made fresh to order and that's all you need to know you just can't beat that

The restaurant is located in a Macy and Equinox shopping plaza. The establishment is nice as you can shop / dine / drink all in one. Since it is in a small plaza, you have to pay for parking. The whole establishment is quite busy as there are shoppers galore and the selection is very nice and fresh. Mind you the meat / steaks have an outstanding selection from dry aged to waygu. We were about 10 minutes late as you know LA traffic but was rated within 10 minutes of checking in. Our server was polite and helpful in choosing as well as explaining the menu. Overall experience was great and. Testator clean and very presentable. Decode is modern and has the outside Italian theme to it. Restroom was a bit dirty but not overly disgusting. - Pizza is brick oven cooked and tasted great. The thin crust was ok as it was soggy by the time I had a second slice. Overall good. - Spaghetti was good with chunks of mozzarella in it. - Spinach ravioli was so so due to it being very saucy and overpowered with chunks of tomatoes. - Lasagna was ok but nothing to rave about. - Bolognese was pretty good as it was meaty and the pasta was freshly made and you can taste the difference. - Seafood Gnocchi was on point and of all the dishes we had ordered that would be the one. I would give this place 4 stars however, they screwed up our order and tried to tell us it was the correct one. Oh well....

Not a lot of places where you could find great, curated, local goods and imported goods from Italy, as well as different levels of eateries and restaurants. I came here earlier in the day and the place wasn't that busy yet. Everybody was so helpful and friendly and everything still so organized and clean. I would say early in the day my favorite time to go because the place is really chill. I've been here later in the day and in the evening as well. It's a lot more crowded than but still a lot of fun. But if you're doing a little bit of grocery shopping or picking up stuff to go, I would say your best bet is earlier in the day. The beauty of this place is they have so many quality products from the meat counter to the seafood section to the bread. You can find pretty much everything under the sun that's Italy themed. On a recent trip, I came here specifically to get some yogurt that the LA times talked about that you can only find here locally. It was so freaking good. I would say the only bugaboo is that the prices could be a little steep, but honestly, you could find a lot of goods at a reasonable price and in a world where $30 smoothies is a popular thing, the prices here aren't crazy.

Eataly is an Italian food court in the Westfield Century City Mall. There are a bunch of ways you can enjoy your time at Eataly. They have a marketplace on the second floor where you can shop for Italian groceries. Within the marketplace there are vendors where you can pick up specialty products such as meat and seafood. There are also vendors on both the first and second floor where you can buy prepared food to eat at one of their tables such as pizza or gelato. Highly suggest the gelato place on the first floor. Lastly, Eataly has three sit down restaurants. Two are located in the back of the marketplace: Capri and La Pizza & La Pasta. There is a rooftop restaurant as well called Terra. Eataly is what you make of it as there is so much to do there. I do find it a bit overwhelming at times and a bit overhyped but it's a nice place to visit. You would have to visit multiple times to really get a feel for all it has to offer. Eataly is located next to Macys. They do not validate parking.

This Eataly is a little different from the other ones I've been to. The restaurants are mostly upstairs or tucked away while in Florence or Chicago the restaurants are central. The rooftop restaurant is top notch is highly recommend. I was easily able to make a reservation. I recently went to the cooking class they had on the bottom floor and it was amazing. The chef that taught us how to make the pasta was patient and made sure we didn't feel behind. The only thing I wish was there was another restroom on the bottom floor.

I drove to Etaly in Century City to enjoy my favorite pizza, the Pizza Margherita, a Napolitana pie cooked and prepared like the good ole one in Naples. Eataly, is practically the go to place for anything Italian, groceries, fish, pasta, sandwiches and of course, their collection of wines and spirits. I also love their Mole, a Coke and Pepsi equivalent that is not often available in our stores in SoCal. Taste their espressos, pastries, breads, squid and other fish dishes at their restaurant. Here, dine while watching cars and people from Beverly Hills to Rodeo Drive, the tables are basically almost on top of the street. But their pasta selections which are cooked to order and have a zip of your favorite Chianti or Moscato, to wash up the cheeses and pasta smell. Love their Pizza Margherita so when you're in the Beverly Hills area leave the fancy places and come to Eataly; you'll never regret the U-turn you make to bring your senses to Naples, Italy by going to Eataly.

5 star for the taste of most of the pizza slices at Pizza Alla Pala the little fast-serve premade pizza place in Eataly which has pre-prepped pizza and cooks it up in a two minute wait time, which is super convenient. Removing stars for the price of the food, which in comparison to a full personal size pizza at Capri, is ridiculous given four of these pieces are combined roughly the size of a personal pizza from Capri. I'm not someone who would care if the pizza wowed me, but when it tastes as decent as Capri for way more $$, I'm not a fan. Sure, it's fun to get so many different flavors, but the check won't be pretty. Also, not particularly impressed with the Sorpressata. Tricolore, Boscaiola, Pesto e burrata all solid but to be honest, I'd rather buy the ingredients myself or spend that at Capri (restaurant inside Eataly).

Eataly is this vast food supply hub. First of all, this is a really large supermarket that offers a lot of very unique food items. Yes, of course, they offer all of the expected items such as: meat, fish, eggs, milk, veggies, and all of that kind of stuff. But, they are really much more than that. They offer some incredible cheeses, they have a great selection of wines, and all kinds of other stuff that you may not expect to find in your traditional supermarket. More than just a supermarket, Eataly also offers a great selection of prepared food. They have some really good pizza, and other food and snack stands where you can grab a quick bite, a treat, or a full-fledged meal. You can really come here and find some unique items to eat. Eataly is also home to a few very good restaurants. So, it's your one stop shop for everything food. Located at the upper level of the Century City Mall, the location of this food establishment is unique in/and of itself. At least unique for the western world. In Asia it's not uncommon to find food stores within a shopping mall, but in the U.S., that is rarely the case. Overall, this is a great place to shop for or to eat food and drink. And, you can do it during your Century City shopping spree.

This place is massive! Located at the Century City Mall it has a full out grocery store dedicated to a whole bunch of Italian ingredients and products. The restaurant itself is on top and has good views of the area. We came here for brunch and enjoyed ourselves. I had to try the pasta so got some of their Spaghetti which was cooked al dente with a well-balanced sauce and cheese. The Breakfast Plate was okay, but nothing special. Service was friendly and helpful too. Would come back another time for the store! Unfortunately no validation either which is common at many places in the mall.

Eataly offers a ton of unique brands and in-house produced items that are worth checking out. My partner and I usually spend $200+ every time we visit.. They have a ton of fresh and dried pastas with unique shapes that are not accessible at your typical grocery store. EVOO & Balsamic galore. If you're a charcutier head, you will enjoy the various amounts of cheeses and meats they offer. Basically a foodie heaven lol.. Place is casual but some dress up for date night (they offer 3+ dine in spots and plenty of more casual counter type of spots). Highly recommend coming here during the week when it's less packed. Parking can be an absolute nightmare. Also recommend making a reservation online if you plan to have lunch or dinner while you're here. It will save you a TON of time.

** Review is based on a 2022 experience ** The ambiance here is amazing and feels so modern. However, everything else was unfortunately very average. The food was not that great, the best thing was the calamari-- and the pasta was definitely undercooked. We tried asking for a new portion, however, it tasted the same. The service was average and we weren't checked in on very often. Overall, it was an average experience, but wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Visibly rotted fruit. Bought premade foods for dinner tonight and a Panna Cotta for desert. The premade dinners were fine, chicken Milanese was fairly tough and chewy, but decent enough. Was looking forward to trying the almond struesrl panna cotta, but on opening the box found that nearly ALL the fruit was moldy. The strawberries had moldy fuzz all over it. The date was today. My fault for being optimistic thinking Eataly would surely pull any visibly rotted food from their shelves. Photos and package date pretty much sums it up. Threw it in the freezer to toss later and of course I can't find the receipt. Not making that mistake again.

Loved the food, the lunch specials were a hit. Service a touch slow , but generally the vibe is nice and airly. Pizza dough was nice, arrancini balls were excellent. Direct outside elevator access and optional valet is nice, and while you're there, pick up some delicious limoncello and other imported foods!

Food is a wide variety my go to is burrata with roasted tomatoes. Service is very easy they give you a chip once the food is ready and they clean up after you which is nice. It does get very busy if you can ever go on a weekday it makes a difference. It's hard to not crave it at all times though. It's staple now for every time I go to Vegas

Our visit to Eataly was inspired by a recent review from a fellow Elite (Jennifer C). Her enthusiastic details reminded me of a conversation with my sister where she raved about the amazing things to see and eat. So we finally made the drive to Century City Mall. Amazing place! Browsing through the vast selection of authentic products, local items, made to order food, fresh pastas, pastries, meats, cheeses, etc., etc., was almost overwhelming at first, especially during a very busy weekend. But after dining at La Pizza & La Pasta, we took our time walking through each aisle, sampled some cheeses and checked out each specialized vendor. It all made for a happy sensory overload experience. :) The parking garage is large and convenient but was pretty full during our visit. Only the first hour is free. Eataly does not validate, but I believe select stores, AMC and Gelson's do, provided that minimum purchases are made. After dining, spending time at Eataly and walking around Century City Mall, our parking came out to $16. I personally think it should be free or validated with extra hours for those who dine at the restaurants. Regardless, it was a great way to spend the day. We will be back again and again.

This place was ok. Inside was cool though like an international grocery market with different food vendors as well. We got the pizza but it was so expensive. It tasted fresh though and pretty good. It was also really big so it made me full quickly. They have cute flowers at the table perfect for your instagram pictures.

First time at Eataly, and the ambiance was nice. The restaurant is situated in the market, containing all sorts of Italian goods. For service, we were forgotten as a table. We were never given our check, and had to reach over to grab our own takeout boxes. I think our server left during a shift change because we did not see him again after we ordered. The food was also not up to par. We came here during DineLA, so their prix fixe menu had an appetizer and an entree available. Bruschetta: Cherry tomatoes and olive oil on toasted bread. Simple dish I can't really complain about; taste was fine! Arancini: Fried rice balls with a filling of cheese and peas. I had higher expectations, but it was bland, and texture was softer than I expected. Bucatini Cacio e Pepe: The sauce was not bad, but the texture of the pasta was incredibly underdone. I understand the concept of al dente pasta, but it had too much of a bite to it that removed the enjoyment away from me. Perhaps I just had a bad experience given that we ordered from their DineLA menu? Not sure.

This Los Angeles location opened in 2017 in Westfield Century City and I've been to the Vegas location before, which opened back in December 2018. There is so much this place has to offer and I get really excited when I'm here, like a kid in a candy store. I go down rabbit holes with stuff that piques my interest and it's so easy for me to do that here... Anything and everything I read off the shelves seems fascinating to me, like pastilles that contains a tincture of absinthe, or whole cheese wheels marked DOP, or all the other neat stuff with labels mostly in Italian. I noticed that on the weekends they put a lot of samples out on the floor, like cheese, salami, pasta, balsamic vinegars, chocolates, and even wine (they do card you for the wine sampling). I'm sure they offer more samples than what I mentioned, but this place does get crowded on the weekends so you may have to wait to sample stuff. Their wine selection in the market is pretty extensive too. Aside from the market, they offer cooking classes, and there are other eateries inside this three story establishment. The gelato bar and Lavazza cafe are on the first floor, the market and eateries are on the second floor, and Terra restaurant is on the third floor with gorgeous outdoor patio seating. Enjoy! I think we're lucky to have an Eataly in LA.

My family and I came in to buy some specialty items, but during our trip to this store, my toddler got very hungry and wanted to an apple. We quickly rushed to the payment area, patiently waited in line to pay for ONE apple, and the ignoramus working told us we had to get in the back of the line. My beau gave him the business, and we went to check out. The scanner was not working, and the guy was giving me attitude and had us wait over ten minutes for him to figure out how to enter one apple on the computer. He charged us a random price, which was the amount per pound, for one apple, but my daughter was crying and getting upset, so we paid it, and got the heck out of there. Worst service ever- I will not be returning to this place with lousy service. Go to Gelsons or Bristol farms. Everyone is kind and competent over there, and the atmosphere is much better. Do not waste your time or money. My toddler was crying and just wanted an apple for crying out loud. & they were rude and dishonest with the pricing. AVOID.

We got 4 slices of pizza and a bottle of water from the first pizza stall you see as you walk in. I forget the names of the pizza slices we got but you should be able to tell by comparing in person. Pros - the pizza beats pretty much all the pizza here in Los Angeles taste wise. Roman style so it's light and kind of airy dough. Cons - $40 for what we got...speaks for itself, but If you're shopping here it's probably not an issue for you. Overall 7/10

The food was not that great the calamari was soggy and the pasta is supposed to be al dente but it was just hard and the flavors did not really match. I'm adding an extra start for the truffle pizza because the first one was really good but we got another one and it did not have as much of the truffle flavor. The servers were nice and agreed to replace one of the pastas because it was nearly inedible. The restaurant is really pretty inside at least. But would not really recommend this place.

Love this place if you haven't been yet I highly suggest it. Awesome Italian market, multiple restaurants and stations to eat. I really like the layout of this place it's very aesthetically pleasing!

Wow what a nice treat to try Eataly! We had the nicest service from Saith, he took good very care of us! We had the lunch combo mushroom and pasta dishes, plus the A5 waygu and Bombelle Pugliesi pork dishes. Everything was excellent. Things took time so good to be patient when enjoying your meal Italy style in leisure. The desserts were over the top!

I've been to Eataly in LA, Vegas, and Chicago but the LA location will always have a special place in my heart. This Eataly is an expansive Italian specialty market, separated into sections by dessert, coffee, cheese, dining area, wine selection, and fresh market. Highly recommend checking out La Pizza and La Pasta and grabbing a cannoli downstairs.

This is such a destination place! I brought a friend to celebrate her birthday. We drove 90 min to experience this delight. Put aside 1-2 hours to enjoy all this place has to offer. We ate at Terra, the rooftop restaurant, such a wonderful place on a summer afternoon. We enjoyed many dishes focaccia bread, prosciutto, ravioli w lemon sauce and Banziini fish. All of our dishes were delicious. PS service was excellent. We then shopped at Eataly store to bring home homemade pasta, focaccia, Italian chocolate and some panacotta and Tiramisu. We could have shopped for hours. Parking is available but not validated at Eatily but if you shop at macys or gelsons you can get validated there Will be back! Definitely one of our favorites

Got my favorite dessert from Eataly last night and was extremely disappointed when I got home. Found a bug on it and had to throw it away :/ The staff at the dessert bar need to inspect the pastries before boxing them up for customers.

Love shopping at Eately. Great quality. Delicious food. Lots of imported items. Great bakery Cheese section is my most favorite. I love artisan cheese and their selecting is great. They have lots of wine and alcohol to chose from. It's a one stop shop if you love to entertain in style.

Hands down the BEST gelato in LA!!! I tried so many gelato shops in LA, but nothing compares to Eataly gelato!!

I'm shocked how far downhill this place has gone. Today we were served cold chewy pizza, after they claimed to have heated it for us. Plastic knives that can't cut through the crust. Apathetic, sluggish employees didn't help either. I can't even imagine giving this place a chance again. Substandard and completely different from the New York version and the Torino, Italy version.

A little slice of Italy located in the Century City Mall, lies a charcuterie lover's dream. Eataly is an Italian food lover's paradise where you can find anything you're in the mood for from a diverse selection of meats and cheeses, homemade pasta and pizza to freshly baked ciabatta bread-whether you're dining in, exploring the market, or grabbing gelato, you will find yourself delighted by every bite!

We came on Labor Day after a long day of adventures and errands and had a fabulous dinner with some cocktails. My gf got the expresso martini , she rates it a 8/10 and the bolognese which she also rated 8/10. I got tommy's margarita which i substituted tajin salt on the rim. Delicious. 9/10 And i got the spaghetti (i didn't add the burrata but after getting it i think this woulda been a great addition) as is i give it a 8/10 with great sauce. Make sure you get lots of Parmesan on top! Our service was great we had 2 waitresses who were both friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is nice, the music selection was interesting because i expected like italy music and it was contemporary. (Currently Biggie smalls juicy is playing lol)

so subpar, everything. I never go on yelp but had to this time. Genuinely disappointed as the Eataly in NYC is an italian wonderland... Wow what a bummer.

Of course I would recommend!!! I've been to the NYC location often, but just moved to SM this past year. Thank goodness I can still get my pieces of NYC memories! Come for the mall and the Italian groceries! lol. Great spot for the day, light bites and drinks or just about anything! We came on a Sunday for some Din Tai Fung, but had to wait an hour for our table so we went an explored Eataly!!! We basically went grocery shopping because how could you not once you set foot here?! We also came back for dessert after having our afternoon dinner. There are tons of seating areas so you can buy all kinds of foods and drinks from different food stations. Check out the photos and definitely come visit! There is a restaurant inside called Capri and I'll be going there for a nice sit down experience soon! Note: only allowed for 10 photos, but think food court style grocery store - ahhh I loved it!

I agree with what my fellow Yelpers have to say, so I was struggling between rating it 3 stars or 4 stars, it really is 3.5 stars, but I decided to round it down for a few reasons. Parking is free for only an hour, which is really short and rushed if you're trying to grab a bite and explore; they should really validate for at least 2 hours. The only place that validates is AMC and Gelson's. The place is beautiful, but can be confusing to get there. Eataly is located closer to the Macy's, and be aware the Westfield Century City is quite big. I had initially parked at the Gelson's and realized it was about a 15-minute walk to get to Eataly. So someone recommended I park closer to the pink and orange area of the parking garage. Take the elevator to the third floor, and you'll be right there. The food is good, and I appreciate that the bread had the nutrition facts, but was a bit concerned by the high sodium levels, for example, the focaccia barese (plum tomatoes, olives, and oregano) had sodium levels around 1000mg, that's like wild and crazy for the size. I also got a few of their breads like the rustic cranberry walnut and the semolina ciabatta grande. The ciabatta was hard like a rock, jebus LOLOL. And the bread so was soo hard to cut. They really should have the bread cut into slices because it was sooo difficult to cut by hand. Overall, beautiful place, but they can do wayy better.

This place was awesome and better than I expected. Didn't feel like I was in Beverly Hills or a mall. The store carried Italian products, both fresh and dried pasta, 00 flour from Italy, and pretty much any Italian ingredient you need. Then there is the fresh food cheese, bakery, pizza/pasta, cafe, gelato...sit down restaurants... multiple stories of amazingness. I could spend hours here. This is a must visit if in the area.

We were a party of 10. We were promptly seated for our reservation time. Menus were given. Water was brought to the table. Our waitress first took our drink orders. Once everyone arrived, the food orders were placed. Bread and foccacia were brought out quickly. Next came the food. I was almost finished with my dinner when I realized, I had not received my limoncello drink. Our waitress was no where to be found. We asked a gal by the order placing station. She went to get our waitress. We explained that we had not received our drinks. The waitress said, "let me check on it." After 5 minutes, she returns and informs us "there was a glitch with the machine so the bartender did not get the orders." I decline my drink. Service left A LOT to be desired. I had to continually ask for more drinking water. With a large party, I expected the waitress to come around regularly to check on the water. Since, we had not received our drink orders, everyone was drinking more water. My food was "meh" nothing to be excited about. I ordered the Mezzi Paccheri al Ragu Napoletano. The pasta was well cooked but I could have made this at home. The food was too salty for my taste.

I love the store. But in this review I have to give just one star because I am very upset. I bought chanterelles mushrooms in the store, then specifically bought everything else for my meal. I drove to butcher store and got meat. I let myself to have a cheat meal and bought potatoes which I usually don't eat. I was so looking forward to eat chanterelles. But once I started to cook I noticed a big white warm in them. And they are not cheap. $60 per pound. So I had to just toss everything (what if there are eggs of what warm?). Very disappointed

My most favorite grocery store market and restaurant at the same time in LA. I absolutely love the concept and the variety of Italian gourmet food. I always find some new and interesting products to try. Also each time we come to Eataly we stop by pizza place, they also have delicious fiori di zucca that is zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta cheese. They have nice lunch special as well for . I ate them a lot while i was visiting Milan, Como and northern Italy. Also they have nice rooftop cocktail bar with some food, pasta restaurant and coffee & dessert bar. My favorite findings are nocciola or crema di pistachio, bellini, pasta, pesto, coffee and porcini mushroom spread.

Inside this lovely market is La Rosticceria. It offers paninis, roasted vegetables, roasted chicken and more. My toddler loved their Mac and Cheese. While waiting to receive my order another mother with two of her toddlers only ordered the Mac and Cheese. It was then I knew I picked the right place lol

Lovely shop/restaurant with great customer service. Loved watching them make the spaghetti fresh. The food was 5/5. Cannoli had to have been the BEST I've ever had. We had been searching for good tasting cannolis for a long long time, and we finally found what we've been searching for! In the shop you could find any cheese you're looking for, all types of pasta, and more.

To begin I must proclaim that Eataly is one of my favorite establishments in Los Angeles and New York! I frequently visit both during the course of my life, and have attended events, dinners, wine tastings, and shopped several occasions. The day after the special event, I returned to shop for various goods to stock my pantry. Purchasing olive oils, pastas, cheeses, spices, and wine. Furthermore, I intend to continue visiting and shopping in the future. On Friday, September 22, from 9pm-midnight, a celebration for the end of summer the Eatalian way was offered as LA's first-ever after-hours storewide festival. During the event, guests we enjoyed tasting stations featuring chef's favorite late-night Italian bites, summer cocktails, Italian wines, Craft Beer, and live entertainment provided by two DJs. In addition, there was a photo booth to capture this moment in time. Purchasing the VIP ticket granted access to the Terra's rooftop lounge, for dancing, relaxing, dining, and a single premium cocktail beginning at 10PM. I totally enjoyed the event due to the delicious food, abundant wine selections, and scrumptious desserts, while mingling with great people, inside Eataly's Marketplace. The atmosphere was charming and most of the event goers adhered to the "Dress To Impress" requirement. My Four Star rating is due to the following... VIP? Arriving 40 minutes early we were greeted by personnel, and advised that that we could not enter until 8:00pm, and the line formed behind us. At 8 we and several others attempted to enter only to discover we were in the General Admission (GA) line vice the VIP que. Everyone in the G.A. gained access before everyone in the VIP line due to only one person performing the checking-in, bracelet application, and presentation of wine glasses! The GA line had three people processing attendees! During our wait in the VIP line several GA people were in the VIP line and spent additional time finding their proper line as well. Terrible management on behalf of the hosts. For the additional fee of the VIP ticket you received access to an area that was open to all; receive one pre-made cocktail that no one drank in my presence because it was disgusting; and the music was not conducive to dancing. Evening was very enjoyable without VIP benefits. In the future I will forego the added expense for the non-existent advantages, and lack of early entry.

I absolutely love it here. It is essentially a huge Italian marketplace with a sit-down restaurant too. As soon as you enter, you are surrounded by a beautiful marketplace of prepared food as well as grocery items, and everything is fresh and delicious. The restaurant is towards the back. I'm always impressed by the vastness of options -- you can choose from fresh breads, prepared sandwiches, fresh pizza slices and sandwiches, handmade burrata and mozzarella, fresh pasta, and so much more. Whether you want to grab something to eat immediately or ingredients to take home and cook yourself, there are PLENTY of options. I highly recommend the sandwich bar. The grocery sections are jam-packed with authentic Italian items, and the cheese, pasta, and sauce selections are incredible. They also have a huge wine area with amazing options. You truly can't go wrong here.

This place is much larger than i had anticipated. It's like a full European market, there's a butcher, baker, deli, cakes, and one of wine and cheese options, beautiful pre-made floral bouquets. We sat on the terrace for lunch, it was cozy and sweet. Ordered the fried calamari and focaccia to start, yum, yum, yum. I had the shrimp pasta with tomatoes and wine sauce, the pasta was great the shrimp had a bit of a rap-water taste, and were under seasoned. My partner had the clams in red sauce, DELICIOUS. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Wish there were joy dessert options like a cake or galette on the menu.

Very late post. The wait was long but expected for last minute reservations. Highly recommend making reservations in advance. Seating and view were nice. Our table a bit small for 2. We really enjoyed our mushroom appetizer we ordered it again. But unfortunately our actual meals didn't taste nearly as good. They fell a little fist for our taste. My dessert was good. I would still go back and try other things on the menu.
