Il Purgatorio Ristorante

We drove nearly an hour to reach this restaurant, and every minute was worth it. The Italian cuisine was exquisite…complemented by a warm and inviting ambiance and genuinely attentive service. The wine was exceptional, and each dish was perfectly prepared & was delicious. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Outstanding service, food, experience, and prices. Definitely recommend visiting if you’re nearby and want to enjoy the taste of authentic Sardinian cuisine.

We were in Tempio to explore the area as a possible place to live. We spent the day exploring the streets and shops and, as it was a Monday, found that many restaurants were closed. My husband read about Il Purgatorio and made a reservation. What a wonderful experience! From the golden light that beckoned us in to the warm greeting from Piere to the wonderful food, wine and service. Our evening at Il Purgatorio helped us to decide Tempio was the right town for us! We'll be back soon (and hopefully often) to dine again! :)

It's another level in Tempio. Nice food. Good wines. Good service. Little chart with fresh food. Best restaurant in Tempio Pausiana. Star worthy or Gourmand. Special and honest prices.
