If you need catering in Chicago, look no further - Imee's is the way to go. We used Imee's to cater a work meeting, and it was amazing. From the owner coming in personally to set up, to the detail and care that was put into the setup, to the taste and quality of the food, everyone was thrilled. The food was delicious - I loved everything I tried. One of my colleagues remarked that the food tasted homemade, nothing like the boring corporate catering we're so used to. Everyone was cleaning their plates and going back for seconds. Each dish had a card with the ingredients listed, which was helpful not only to those with food allergies/dietary restrictions, but to those that may not be familiar with Lebanese dishes. The owner also hand wrote a thank you card to our business manager - who does that?! Imee's Kitchen does that! Use them to cater your next event, you will not regret it!

I can’t get over the intense flavors of the meats here! Everything I tried tasted so fresh and delicious. I was looking for a quick meal and walked past noticing the sign out front. I walked in asking about gluten free and dairy free options and I believe it was the owner guiding me. She was so helpful and kind, offering substitutions or alternatives to meet my dietary and allergy restrictions. I ordered the beef plate and my friend ordered the seven spice chicken. Both meats were so tender and full of flavor. I paired it with the rice and lentils (she explained their regular rice has gluten in it because there’s noodles in the rice) and the lentil soup and we loved everything!

This place was amazing! Such delicious food, cute atmosphere and super friendly owner/employees! You really feel like you just walked right into someone’s grandma or mom’s kitchen in their home. Had the beef with tabouleh and sides of hummus/yogurt and everything was delicious but the homemade yogurt was insane, never had anything like it. Can’t recommend enough so do yourself a favor and go here asap

Had the mujadra pita wrap - it was one of the best Mediterranean wraps I ever had. The wrap had a nice kick , the right amount of spice greens make you feel good about eating it! On top of that, Nicole is absolutely wonderful. Great customer service, great food, an excellent choice when you're off work.

This is one of the best Mediterranean food places I have tasted in Chicago. The food is very fresh and flavorful. The customer service is extremely amazing. If you’re ever passing through the neighborhood, definitely give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

One of my new favorite spots!! I never had the chance to try Mediterranean food, but when I met the owner she was amazing, her food was great and the service too I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Most definitely will be coming back and bringing my friends and family to try

Wow! What a gem downtown. I wasn’t even planning to get lunch but I had to follow my nose into Imee’s kitchen. The owner was so sweet and puts so much love into each dish in honor of her own mother’s kitchen. The food tastes just like home. This place is actually authentic, everything was as tasty and flavorful as it smelled from the sidewalk, the portions are generous, and the ingredients are fresh and unprocessed. Highly recommend !!

Great little space in downtown for some authentic Lebanese style Arab food. I was very curious to try this out, so I went in and ordered everything. When you walk in, you're greeted by the color of yellow to represent the lemon in their logo. It is very inviting, especially in the dead of a Chicago winter. It's airy and light inside. AND CLEAN! Oh how clean this place is! OK, I ordered a meat plate with all the meats, both chickens and the beef. It sits on a bed of rice, and I chose tabbouleh as my side. I also get some pickled turnips. I also ordered a side of kibbeh just to try out. I thought it was a great sized side, and it was really delicious! I also received some great tasting sauces. The portions are great, the service is very friendly, and when you walk in, it looks like summer. I really enjoyed coming here and am looking forward to coming back for lunch!

We are always trying new spots for lunch and we love a good local hole in the wall. First impression, place was very clean and bright. Unfortunately, it looks like they are forced to relocate elsewhere because of their lease. The lady who took our order told us the whole story, I imagine she is the owner. Super nice and could tell she is passionate about what she does. We split two different wraps. They were very juicy and decently filled. Good spice flavor with freshness from the lettuce and tomato. The only thing I didn't enjoy was that they were a bit oily and definitely a little hard to cut and go halfsies on so maybe next time we will opt for a plate instead.

This place is a hidden gem! My husband and I happened to be walking by Molly's Cupcakes in West Loop and saw a sign for Imee's in there. We met the owner and she swore by her food. We decided to give it a chance since we are big Mediterranean food fans. We ordered the Yogurt Chicken and the Beef. Wow wow wow. I'm used to ordering beef from Mediterranean spots and it's usually dry. This was unlike any spot I've been to in Chicago yet. The meats were moist and delicious. The owner and her team were super friendly. I can't wait to go back. The only request I have is that they do DoorDash on the weekends :)

Cool that a new place in the Loop for lunch has opened because there wasn't enough lol. Imee's is fast Mediterranean style. Lots of options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. A small place but it's not meant for hanging out all day in. The prices are about what to expect for around here but not that bad though. By using a few discount apps, I found out about it. It's on Wells, making it easy to get to by public transportation. The place is kind of a bit small but whatever. It's in the Loop meant for the lunch crowd. Only open for lunch on the weekdays. Besides that it's pretty good. Came in and got a Veggie Wrap. Bigger than expected. It's $10, which is okay for around here. Good choice for vegetarian eaters. This has cucumbers, Lebanese salad, and lentils. Have to come back here again. It's convenient getting to from public transportation so no need to worry about parking. The Mediterranean options also have plenty for vegetarians.

Walking past the shop smells like a new world. Being greeted at the register, having the patience to work with me and what can I say. The food is excellent. Spice/Taste Excellent. Recommended

My coworker recommended this spot so we ordered it as a group and he picked up. Some of the best Mediterranean I've had in the city! The garlic sauce is killer. I got the chicken wrap and it was very yummy. We also got the hummus which was not as great.

The owner was very nice, explaining the menu to us as well as explaining how she came to opening her own restaurant. The location was very homey, very clean and very inviting. The prices are reasonable and the amount of food we got for the Combo fed both of us (and we're big eaters). The food was delicious. I would highly recommend visiting this location.

Solid new addition to the lunch scene in the Loop. I just happened to walk past and given my love for Mediterranean food decided to stop in, and I'm glad I did! The space itself is small, which was fine as I was planning to take out, and the staff is super friendly. As I was staring at the menu Jose quickly approached and greeted me and walked me through the menu. They offer some unique options that vary slightly from the bigger corporate chain type Mediterranean restaurants, in a very good way. Everything is homemade, Jose told me - except the Coca-Cola products (haha!). I opted for the yogurt chicken wrap and a side of hummus & pita chips. My only "negative" is that the person behind the counter actually making my food didn't ask what toppings I wanted on my sandwich. I am super picky so I like to leave certain things off such as onions...but I caught her in time to hold those nasty little evil onions. The sandwich was delish and portion size was great - the chicken was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The texture of the hummus was different, a bit more pasty and thick than the creamier hummuses I am accustomed to, but it was DELICIOUS! They also do catering. As an added bonus, he told me the business is woman owned. I will definitely be back to try some other items and support this new small biz and recommend you do as well.

Wow! Just had the beef wrap and tabbouleh. Fresh and awesome! They get an A+. The beef in the wrap was tender and flavorful, which means they buy the good stuff. And it was delicious. I stumbled across this place by accident and I will defintely be coming back. This place is a great new addition in the area for lunch options.

Unfortunately I was disappointed with my yogurt chicken wrap. The wrap was so soggy from the chicken juice and completely fell apart when I took my first bite. The people were very friendly though.

Just had a delicious chicken spice wrap and hummus. Hit the spot! Very filling and very well seasoned! Staff was very friendly and welcomed questions if I had any. This is an awesome lunch spot!

Food is well made but still expensive for the contents and portion. There is barely any seating inside (maybe two pairs) but expect to takeout. Great first try but not something I see myself revisiting.

If you work in the area this is an excellent option for a quick lunch. I mean one of the best places I've tried in a while. Today I visited Imee's for the second time, and it was just as fresh and delicious as the first time. The flavors are different from most restaurants like it that I've tried, but in all the best ways. I ordered the Lebanese salad with 7 spice chicken and a side of the pickled beets both times and everything was perfect. The chicken is super flavorful and the beets were perfectly tart and crunchy. The owner was pleasant on both my visits, but today she showed just how kind she truly is. She shared with me that she served the kind of food that she grew up eating and we continued to chat while my food was prepared. It's cold outside with the classic Chicago winters mix and a homeless man came in for a respite from the cold. The owner excused herself from our conversation to offer him a free meal. There are a lot of great places to eat in the loop, but in my opinion there aren't a lot like this one. I highly recommend giving it a try.

This is the perfect spot for a healthy Mediterranean salad/bowl and the hospitality is so warm and welcoming. I usually don't pay attention to rice but I have to call out that the rice that comes with the chicken plate is so moist & flavorful, it's some of the best I've ever had.

Very flavorful! Subtle seasoning and a good variety of dishes and sides makes for great lunch spot downtown. Attentive service too!

Amazing food if you're in the loop area and would like to eat something different and not a mediocre chipotle bowl. It's a couple dollars pricier, but it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. I ordered the yogurt chicken burrito. Amazing . Authentic Lebanese food

Best authentic Mediterranean salad I've had in years. Every ingredient was so fresh and the service was great!

This is my go-to when I do not bring my lunch. The Mujadara is exceptional and the finishing touch of the crispy onions and Lebanese salad just gives a fresh and delicious flavor. The portions are substantial; I order the side and get about 2-3 meals out of it. The staff is very friendly.

Had Imee's for a client meeting as suggested by one of our colleagues. Excellent food and gives Roti a run for their money. Clients and colleagues loved it.

My yogurt chicken platter was absolutely delicious. An ample amount of chicken and rice. The taboulleh was vey flavorful. I passed on the beets and they offered a simple salad, which was nicely dressed. I see complaints about the price, and while it is more expensive than Naf Naf or Roti, they offer more and the ingredients are fresher. I am excited to try it again.

I must say that I was taken aback when I saw the prices online, but decided to try it anyway since it's brand new. $18 later for a veggie wrap, a quart-sized plastic bag full of pita chips and a small container of hummus (both of which came with the meal), plus two spearmint candies and I'm not sure I'd return, if only because of the price. Food was very good although the pita didn't hold together well and I had to use a fork for the most part - but nothing that probably half of the price wouldn't cover (I'd even settle for 50% less chips).

It was my first time eating at Imee's and I HIGHLY recommend it! The food was excellent, and you can tell its homemade with fresh ingredients. Its a small quaint spot but my colleague and I sat there for nearly an hour and a half and never felt like we were being rushed out. The owner came by multiple times to check in to see how the meal was which shows they really appreciate the input from their customers. If you are like me, you've probably passed by this place many times. I would highly recommend you stop in the next time you are in the area, you will not be disappointed!

I love this place so much! The food is so comforting, and makes you feel good after you eat it. I crave the Yogurt chicken. The owner is also the kindest human being, every time I walk in she always has a smile on her face and is happy to see me. The restaurant feels like you are inside someone's home, and makes you feel loved and happy when you walk in.

Found my new lunch spot in the loop!!! Shocked at how fresh the chicken and salad were. Great flavor across the board. And well worth the price!

My father's side of the family is Lebanese so whenever I wanted comfort food, I always had to make it myself. Not anymore! I couldn't wait to try them once I heard they opened and for me, personally, the food is excellent. Literally, tastes like Grandma's. I run a conference center nearby and often find myself in a rut for catering options - especially when it comes to the well-saturated mediterranean market. But this is different. The prices reflect the quality and the fact that EV. RY. THING. IS. MADE. IN. HOUSE. The Laban, the Lift, the Toom, the Kibee. All of it. They prepare their tabouli by picking the leaves vs cutting it with a knife. That is seriously O.G. This is labor intensive stuff but it's soooo worth it. Now I've begun using their catering for team lunches in my conference center and it's a hit. The staff, from owner to counter, is eager to please, communicative and flexible. Working with them, if you let them, they'll make you feel like you're part of the family. If I could give more stars, I would.

I live close by and walked past this brightly colored store front and had to check it out! The food was fresh and tasted amazing!! The service was great and staff was friendly. A great addition to the neighborhood - will be back soon!

Wasn't sure if I was a fan of Mediterranean food until eating at Imee's Kitchen. The hummus was so so fresh and flavorful. A must to try is the Kibee. Everything was so good brought some home to eat the next day. !!!!

I got the seven spice chicken. It was delicious. I am looking forward to coming here again and again. Lovely clean eating, delicious and fresh!

Checked out this place today after seeing a blurb online about it opening. Good move, as it was the freshest Mediterranean food I have had in the Loop, really anywhere in Chicago. Especially surprising because it's a quickserve place! It's a great addition to the lunch scene. The people working there could not have been nicer/ more helpful. The yogurt chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful. The garlic sauce was so great, but I wish I had asked for an extra, because I couldn't get enough. The Lebanese salad was clearly made with fresh produce and the dressing was lemony delicious. Yes, it's pricey, lunch in the loop overall has gotten super pricey. I will say paid nearly the same amount (around $19) for a much smaller portion size at another nearby Mediterranean place recently, so I feel like it's definitely worth the splurge for a very satisfying and healthy lunch.

The pickles are fresh and crunchy, the yogurt chicken is slightly sweet and savory-a perfect blend of the 2! The Lebanese salad was also fresh and crunchy, packed with flavor. If your looking for authentic Arabic food, I highly recommend you try this place out! The yogurt cucumber salad was a great add on to the meal.

This review is unfortunate because the food was excellent. The food alone was 5 stars. It gets 2 stars overall because it is outrageously priced. A standard chicken bowl which was an average portion size was $20 after tax. Unfortunately I won't be coming back at these prices when there are a dozen other much more reasonably priced Mediterranean spots in the area.
