The Best Buffets in Las Vegas, According to Eater Editors | Eater Vegas

"For many people, seafood is the main attraction at any buffet. If you’re one of those people, head to Imperial Sushi for a buffet that regularly features fried shrimp, raw clams, crab claws, and rows and rows of sushi. Weekend dinner, which includes snow crab legs and lobster, is $44.99 for adults, and prices throughout the week decrease from there to $27.99 for weekday lunch." - Janna Karel

Google
They served really good seafood, mostly Chinese food and Dimsum. I love their Shumai. They also have Japanese station that serve sashimi, sushi, crab legs, oysters, sea bass and more. We love there deep fried shrimp on the stick with seasonings, crispy and tasty. They also have duck, it was a little bit dry. We also love their ice cream, rainbow sherbet. The atmosphere was fine and we got good service.

Google
We came here about ten minutes after they opened. Not too many people so the atmosphere was good. The food was also good especially the seafood and sushi. I wish they also have sashimi, it would have been perfect. The meat (beef/chicken/pork) were just so-so. The dessert were not that great, good thing they have ice cream. The service was good as well. The staff were quick to respond to requests. Our plates were collected real fast.

Google
What a gem of a buffet in Vegas!! Lobsters are very fresh and delicious. Everything is prepared and cooked very well. Veggies and meat are excellent quality. Will definitely come back whenever we visit Vegas.

Google
Wonderful seafood buffet in Vegas! Came here to celebrate birthday on a Sunday while visiting Vegas. I really like that they make all seafood flavorful. Sashimi pieces are fresh and delicious. You gonna try the ice cream, it seriously is the best buffet ice cream I’ve ever had.

Google
Imperial sushi and seafood buffet. las vegas nevada.excellent buffet around 50$ for dinner highly recommended 👌 from a Florida native. Get the lobster tails, 🦀 crab shrimp 🍤🦐, etc. I tried a little of everything. I just hope 😋 you got an empty tummy when coming, as I did.

Google
It was so nice to have lobster and crab at this price. The staff were kind and the atmosphere was good. I think it would be better if the sushi section came out with a better quality.

Last time we came during Covid 19, business was very bad . This time we came back for $47 ayce lobster Tuesday and Friday dinner. My partner and I both agreed the food was fantastic, tasty, authentic Chinese, a very good deal. I had 4 plates double stacked, so more like 8 plates, so full and satisfied. The place was nice, clean, pleasant, well lighted, welcoming. Friday dinner had a few large local families, good signs this place is good, about 50 to 60 people or about 25% capacity. Food was fresh, well prepared and seasoned, included Maine lobster grilled with cheese, crab, shrimp, oyster Rockefeller, abalone, scallop, large clam, sea snails , fish, sashimi, sushi ect, one of the largest and more expensive seafood selections in Western US. There was no wait for lobster. I had 2 halves, very fresh and tasty, satisfied. The ahi and yellow tail sashimi was fresh and tasty, like slices of butter. I ate a lot and liked just about everything, except the beef ribs, which I ordered grilled or smoked, not braised. A fairly large desert station with cakes, fruits, ice cream plus authentic Chinese seeds puddings, delish. They have no alcohol. I brought in my own wine and beers and drank them discreetly. Overall this is the best seafood buffet I had in California and Nevada in the last 8 years. No, I don't work for them. I congratulate them for surviving the COVID-19 recession and wish them success.

Google
forget the overpriced las vegas strip buffet, this buffet is budget friendly that serves a galore seafood menu. lots of parking and easy to find. it must be the secret that locals dont tell much. but we found it! definitely recommending it to relatives and friends visiting vegas. very friendly staff and the overall restaurant is super clean. it doesnt have that sticky joint feel.

Yelp
The Service here is great, staff is friendly and nice. Large variety of Chinese food, dim sum, sushi and dessert. I came here for the ginger scallion lobster and it was good.

Brianna S.

Yelp
Best fried rice ever! Good service, tons of options to choose from! My dad had about 5 plates sampling everything.

Rocky Wang

Yelp
The lobster is so delicious. The seafood quality is so fresh. The restaurant is clean and big. The service is very organized and maintained. Always keep the table clean. I love this place.

Yelp
Wanted seafood, didn't want a white tablecloth on-the-strip dinner. When our Uber driver found out where we were going he reaffirmed our choice, surprised an out of towner knew about this local place (thanks Yelp!). Exactly what we expected - fresh seafood (hot and cold), vegetables, soups. Easy to get seated, decent price for what you're able to get. The grilled oysters alone are worth the price of admission if you like oysters - huge! Shrimp, crab, black bass, mussels... the list goes on and on. Great place for a solid meal without strip prices.

Yelp
Went here on 9/3/24and just wanted to upload more pictures!! The food for the dinner is spectacular!! The service is self buffet so if you need anything the servers aren't busy with bad attitudes... they will gladly you help you!! The ambiance gives you that classic vibe of feel free to take as much as you want from our authentic stations!

Yelp
We couldn't make it to the Palm's AYCE and the M Resort's buffet lobster night but this place hit the spot. If you're looking for all you can eat seafood, this is the place. I would've given this place 5 stars but they did not honor the 10% discount for Yelp reviews because they said it's a holiday.
google avatar

Tracee T.

Yelp
After reading some of the reviews we were nervous about coming here but we really enjoyed our Christmas dinner here. They had a a lot of seafood options. It would be hard for someone to not find something they liked here. It was busy but they have plenty of seating and they were quick to take your finished plates. They have desserts and ice cream but we ate so much, we left no room for sweets. It was nice not cooking and having a meal with a lot of seafood choices.
google avatar

Bryan L.

Yelp
Came here on Thanksgiving, thankfully they were open and it was packed with asian families who had the same idea. However it was $64 instead of $47 for "holiday pricing", without any changes in the food selection (which I'm fine with, staff have to work a holiday). The selection is great, good assortment of raw seafood (oysters, mussels), cooked seafood (lobster, crab legs, baked oysters, clams), sushi, including sashimi and poke which you don't find a lot. So if you want to get your money's worth, you can probably do that by just eating lobster claws (fyi the server portions the lobster for you, not self serve). There was someone arguing with the server in line because they got small pieces of lobster. As decent as the food was, the restrooms are dirty asf. Litter on the ground, out of paper towels, overflowing trash can. They even had a sign in the stall telling you to alert staff if restrooms are unsanitary, that should be the role of the restaurant staff, not me.

Yelp
Good ginger scallion lobster and ice cream but the rest of the food was just ok. Service was excellent. It was pretty quiet when we arrived on a Tuesday evening but it quickly got busy. Discount given if Yelp review written and shown to server.

Yelp
Great buffet off the strip, away from the crowds, at half the price. My mother-in-law just wanted her crab legs fix, so we found this place in an article listing the top buffets in Vegas. There was plenty of crab legs, whole crabs, and fresh house special lobster (which we were not expecting). The sashimi was also fresh, especially the salmon belly. Our kids enjoyed everything else that was similar to Panda Express and dim sum. Will definitely come back for the seafood. Service was good, and the restaurant was clean.
google avatar

Peter L.

Yelp
Went here for lunch today. After spending $50 for a bowl of bouilliabiasse with bread. Will review next. This seems like a good deal However, I went in at 2pm and at 3pm dinner starts and you can see the lobster and sashimi that is for dinner only. I think it would be more worthwhile to spend that extra 20 bucks and got those as well I guess u still get some good value. I got 3 plates of crab legs and 1 plate of clam noodle and bbq rib. 1 plate of dimsum In retrospect, I would not have touch the dimsum. And should have had some sushi. I didn't eat any sushi as I didn't want to get full from the rice. This approach was correct for the biggest bang for the buck. Better off going to ayce sushi places in vegas. There is a bunch.... Still, I saw the dinner. So I thought it would have been a better deal... instead of leftover skinny crab legs. They replenish for dinner as well with fatter legs...oh well, I was so full by that time... just a matter of timing.

Yelp
The buffet spread was smaller than last years...lots of snow crab legs instead of Dungeonous crabs Other seafood items are lukewarm at best, The serving tongs on the lobster tray is facing the servers and if you move the tongs someone rushes over, gives you a 'look' and give you 3 tiny pieces with probably a small piece from the tail, made me feel like a thief...... When I saw a video from one of the YouTubers who asks for a half lobster tail grilled so I did the same and the cooks behind the grill told me NO and walks away... We won't be back again just not worth it plus on the tipping bill it shows only 18% and 20% tip...for a buffet?

Yelp
This buffet restaurant is incredible! Plenty of seafood selections, including Chinese style lobsters claws, snow crab legs, baked oysters, shrimps in a skewers, raw oysters, sashimi and sushi. I came at around 8:10pm, and I was advised that the kitchen will close at 8:45 pm and all food should be refilled until the kitchen is close at 9:00pm.When I asked for refilling the oysters and lobsters at 8:30pm, I was informed by the server that the kitchen was already closed. I went to the receptionist and informed them with the situation. The manager came and rectify the situation. She told me and my wife they will continue to serve the lobsters, and baked oyster and they were still preparing. I gave 4 stars for being inconsistent. Otherwise the experience is good!!

Yelp
We went to the restaurant on Christmas Eve around 6 pm, and there was no wait. The restaurant has a big selection of seafood. I think the best was the grilled oyster. The only problem was it took a little bit of time for the oyster to cook on the grill, so there was an 8-10 min wait for the oysters. We didn't get to eat as much of the grilled oyster as we wanted. The lobster was really good. Overall, a lot of food selection to choose from. There was no problem with parking. I wish they had a little bit more fruit options for dessert, but overall it was a really nice buffet off of the strip.

Yelp
The food here was decent. I only liked the ice cream. The service here had really nice people. But when I reserved my drink, it looked like it had mold in it. The prices are diabolical. If your over 5 feet its 25 dollars? The place is nice though but overall it was not ok.

Yelp
First time large Party of 9 went on Jan 3,2025 @ 3pm for $59,99 per adult ,(increase in price due to holiday menu they stated),mainly for the ayce lobster. Tried the different foods while waiting for the lobster to appear which is served at the steam table station by an employee, had to wait 15 min to get 4 small pieces of chopped up lobster 1 claw, 1 body part and 2 tail pieces . Went up again after finishing my first plate of various foods and there was no lobster just an empty plate And was told by the rude server to go to eat something else . I Waited along with many others for about 25 min for the lobster to come out . This happened for the remainder of the time we were there.Multiple people were also upset about no lobster. Would give them a zero if I could. Never ever will I or people in my party go there again. Here are pics of a more often empty lobster plate .

Yelp
For under $47/per person for dinner buffet I would highly recommend mainly if you like lobster. The Chinese stir fried lobster was excellent and the only Chinese buffet that I've been to that has this style of AYCE lobster. There is a wide variety of other food options including soups, snow crab legs, oysters, dim sum, stir fry, grilled meat, sushi, fruit, desserts and ice cream. I personally enjoyed the wide variety of Chinese food options like the crispy honey walnut shrimp, pork bone and wintermelon soup and the variety of fruit like guava. That being said, I think the other "main dishes" aside from the lobster like the snow crab legs, grilled galbi, oysters, etc. are good but not as good as the lobster, so if you don't like lobster or seafood it is debatable how much value you will get from the buffet at this price. The service was fast at taking our dishes and refilling our water. I did hear some other customers complaining to management about how they limit the number of pieces of lobster that are handed out. IMO lobster is best when it's hot and it takes time to take it out of the shell, so I didn't mind going back multiple times for lobster. The restaurant itself was clean and bathrooms were clean. While there were other customers, it was not even half capacity in the restaurant on a Friday night.

Lyann V.

Yelp
Food quality with lots of options and choices were great! Service was amazing. Ian was very attentive and made sure our drinks were always filled and plates were cleared off the table at all times. The lobster has good flavors and seafood were plentiful. Glad we took recommendations and tried this place. Will definitely return when we are back in town.

Yelp
Really good food. I came on Saturday not much busy. The place was big and the food came out faster. I like about this place that they have lobsters.
google avatar

Yelp
Great lobster. Great selection of seafood buffet. Will recommend to anyone ................... Will come back for sure

Errick-Michael S.

Yelp
I recently visited this place for their seafood buffet, and it was a solid experience. The selection of seafood was impressive--fresh shrimp, crab legs, oysters, and clams, all well-prepared. The grilled lobster tail was a standout, cooked just right. They also had a decent variety of sides and sauces, which paired well with the seafood. The atmosphere was casual and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Yelp
I'm really surprised by the seafood selection and the freshness of the food. The sushi rolls were fresh and really delicious. I love the jalapeño stir fries shrimp so light and refreshing. Their fried rice just compliments the meat dishes. The service was quick and friendly. And the establishment is super clean and spacious. This is really a nice spot to have a great dinner. I would definitely come back again when I'm visiting Las Vegas.

Yelp
A great place for lunch! I had dropped my car off at a mechanic down the street and decided to check out Imperial Sushi and Seafood Buffet for lunch. I was really surprised by the huge selection of hot food, sushi, and desserts - especially since lunch at buffets is typically pretty ordinary. You'll find shrimp, crab, frog legs, chicken, beef, pork belly, dim sum (dumplings, buns), salads, sushi rolls, nigiri, fruits, and ice cream by the scoop. I ate a lot of shrimp - tempura, sauteed, coconut, and lots of sushi . For dessert I really enjoyed the tapioca pudding and fresh strawberries. I'll definitely be back and will try the other items that my belly didn't have room for. Not a bad lunch deal for $27 (drinks are extra)! Be sure you're hungry when you go!

Yelp
This is our fave off the strip buffet when we are in Vegas! This place is clean and their dishes are well- cooked. We love the variety of dishes and seafood. Their staff and service is impeccable. The price is quite hefty at $43 per person though.

Eleonor O.

Yelp
My family celebrated New Year and my birthday. Although, the price was a little bit higher but the birthday celebrant was free. The food was amazing..They have a wide variety of fresh seafoods. I also tasted a few foods not food in other buffet restaurants. Their restaurant is new and well maintained. The staff members were also accommodating.
google avatar

Daphne K.

Yelp
Randomly came upon this place and decided to try it out. Overall I think the taste of the food is decent, there is a good selection to choose from, but the quality just isn't there for the price. The sushi quality is cheap and the dessert other than the ice cream was subpar. The only section I thought was acceptable was their Chinese food and appetizer section. Dimsum was ok too. Pricing is steep overall for the quality of food you're getting and for people who are actually foodies and care about the quality of food they eat, this is not the place I would suggest. There is ample seating and service is attentive. I just hope there's an improvement on the quality of food there.
google avatar

Yelp
Would not recommend coming here. Save your money and stomach space. Lobster was good, but that was pretty much the only saving grace. Definitely not worth the $49 cost. Reviews are inflated due to a discount if you do a review before paying. Plenty of other good offerings on and off strip for seafood buffets at that price point.

Kevin R.

Yelp
Food was great as well as the service! Would definitely come back! The lobster was a heavy favorite.

Phan N.

Yelp
the food is so mediocre for the price ($56) a person, and came to $73 per person after the mandatory credit card and service charges. i feel bad for both the customers and the workers. im not picky eater and tend to have low standards but this was bad even for me. i was there barely 10 minutes and i already lost my appetite after eating the sushi and crab legs they offered. the workers were nice enough but the girl ( an asian teen with shoulder length black hair) working at the front was very rude when we asked simple questions about potential allergens, she also claimed we didn't have a reservation (that we had booked a day in advance) until another server came and helped us - extremely unprofessional and offputting. the restrooms are also small and not comfortable. if it was a more reasonable price (30- even $40) , i would excuse the quality of the food, drink, even the attitude of the server and establishment, but it is exorbitant. please save yourself the trouble and go to one of the many good restaurants las vegas to offer.

Yelp
Good selection of seafood and excellent sashimi. Ambience is good and buffet is clean
google avatar

Yelp
This past weekend, I visit imperial seafood in vegas. I have seen many video of this place, so I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately just by walking up and down the aisle, I was not impressed with what I see. My 1st plate was the sashimi with snail and that was just ok. Other than that, I did not go and try anything else only because nothing I saw was appealing to me. Being that said 3 star only, my expectations of this place could've been way better. Plenty other buffet in vegas, pass on this one.
google avatar

Connie D.

Yelp
Although. I am not convinced that they are the best in terms of food taste. This place is Very clean, the staff are attentive. Food refills top tier, there are food here that you cannot find in a typical buffet. The price is worth it. We were here on a regular day and there was a lot of tables available, same with parking no problem. I will come back and recommend for anyone who wants buffet cravings. forgot to mention the rolls, yes their good.

Alex Z.

Yelp
Went to this place for a holiday lunch, and it outshone my expectations. A very elaborate variety of seafood: snow crab legs, lobsters, clams, snails, sushi. just to name a few. Though a bit above-average in price, their quality completely justified the high price. Everything was very fresh and tasted great. In particular, the crab legs were so well done that I kept going up and up for more. My family thought this place was fantastic, and it stood out compared to other cheaper buffets we've tried in Las Vegas. The difference in quality was clear, and it's also conveniently close to the Strip, making it a great choice for visitors. The service was excellent; even though my family always skips the noodles at buffets to save room for seafood, I tried them this time around-and they were unexpectedly good! If you're looking for a high-quality buffet with an incredible seafood selection, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Great service and tasty food. Came for the lobster and wasn't disappointed. If you're craving oyster too they come grilled and raw.

Yelp
First time here it was amazing. Lobster and other seafood you could imagine. I also love everything else very good and recommend it 100%

Yelp
This place is so good. The food is excellent. Better than any asian buffet ive ever been too. Food is always fresh and hot. Lobster is plenty and super delicious. Service is excellent and always looking to assist us. I would love to come back any time im in Las Vegas.

Yelp
Amazing buffet with lobster Cantonese style, oysters, ceab legs, sushi sashimi and much more!

Yelp
The food and servers was nice, but the system did not work well. People should be careful with the amount on tips. I got overcharge when they settled the bills although I wrote the total amount on the receipt. That is not a big amount but I don't feel comfortable with that. People should write clearly how much on tip and how much total, keep the receipt until that transaction posted to the bank to avoid overcharge. Don't be lazy just write the total amount including tip. I wonder this is a big restaurant in LV, but they charge 3% for credit card. $46.99 + tax + 3% card fee per person for dinner.

Yelp
Food was fresh and well prepared. Enjoyed the kind service. Everything I had was perfectly prepared. Would recommend this buffet.

We came here two days in a row. Good taste, clean food. Definitely worth the money. If you come for dinner, enjoy the lobster, fresh and yum.

Yelp
I came here on my birthday as a gift it was wonderful I liked it a lot the only thing is that I do not trust anyone who serves escalar that is something that has made me sick in the past not knowing what it is it's not something to eat. If they could just remove that from their menu that would be great other than that all their food is good I don't like the fact that you can only get three pieces of tiny lobster considering the price that you pay should at least give you one whole lobster at a time that would be a little bit efficient instead of having to come up grabbing multiple plates at a time. The ambience is really good it would be really nice if they played anime or Asian music there instead of the music that's on the radio which is too loud and doesn't fit the ambiance. The employees are very attentive they work very hard the chef is takes very great pride in his sushi and his California rolls I spoke to him a little bit and I told him he made beautiful food. Other than that go there early take your time bring your family just don't need to ask alarm it's in the book salad I wouldn't want you to go home with diarrhea. we're having a couple days worth of stomach pains and dehydration. It's a cheap fish and it should be treated as so so don't eat it. Other than that I think this place is excellent it is very spacious and if you want to go to a place that's very elegant just please make sure you don't eat while you're picking up your food lots of people were doing that they were not the Asian people who are doing that. Licking your fingers and touching the handles this is how people get sick it's pretty disgusting this is not your home don't treat it like you're home they tried to make it casual but is very high end. Let them know it's your birthday they will wish you Happy Birthday and sing to you I really do enjoy the employees there they're all very kind. Thank you this is just my opinion you try it for yourself it never hurts to try something new or a new restaurant.

Yelp
Asian buffet that serves lots of seafood, sushi, cold crab, lobster Asian style. Everything is self-serve except for the lobster, they give you about 3 to 4 pieces at a time. You have to ask them to replenish it sometime. Overall, the sushi and sashimi dishes were fresh. The fried rice was really good. Honey walnut shrimp was good as well. I did not care for the dim sum station, but there was plenty of seafood to choose from. We went on a Friday around 6 PM and it wasn't too busy. I've been here before on a Saturday that time and it was very busy. The buffet was $49.99 The website said $45.99 but it was during July 4 weekend so maybe that's why the price was a little bit higher. Service was good. They cleaned your plates very fast and often.

Yelp
Been wanting to check this place out and since today I couldn't decide what to eat, I thought I'd come here and check it out (Finally!) We went on a Thursday around lunch time (12:30-ish) and it wasn't crowded. There were 10 other parties besides us which was a little surprising. Comparing to Buffet @ Asia and Krazy Buffet, the place is bigger, cleaner and seems to have a good quality food and a lot of options. Their layout and vibes as well as food placement (the buffet) seem cleaner. Lunch was $27.99/person and drinks are additional. Their time limit is 90 minutes. I don't recall the other 2 places have a time limit but then again, I never paid attention. I only noticed it here cuz they posted it. They have boiled crab legs but those were bland to me. Other seafood options were good: cooked scallops, claims, shrimp, octopus were plenty along with different sushi rolls. There is a small dim sum section and your typical fried check clean, eggrolls, fried wontons with cream cheese which I LOVE but here, it is a little on the sweet side for me. The good highlights for me: - various and different flavors/ways for clams, octopus, shrimp -big beef ribs that were cooked to a reduced sauce which was savory and sweet -fried rice was simple but flavorful -hit and sour souo and daikon soup were tasty -some sushi rolls really hit the spot! -soups were tasty -real ice cream, not soft serve sugary stuff (they will scoop for you) -they have a stir fry se tuôn where you pick your items and a guy behind the buffet stir fry it for you -clean buffet area, floors and bathroom -full utensils are available and provided (some places do not even have knives!) -not a high light but interesting: they have fried frog legs (and they realy do taste like chicken! lol) What could be better: - boiled crab legs and mussels were bland -dim sum items didn't look appealing to me. Maybe cuz there were so many other entrees around, so I didn't care for dim sum then. -the temp of the hot entrees aren't hot. It was luke warm. So if you like your food hot in temp, keep that in mind. -the lady was attentive and kept the hot area clean by wiping down the buffet BUT I saw her picked up a couple of dropped items and returned them back to the serving dish. I appreciate that she keeps the area clean but to put back dropped items, that was a little bit of a turn off for me. I think maybe she wasn't aware that she shouldn't have done that cuz she looked determined in keeping the area spotless--to a fault, lol This place is like a Kohl's equivalent when Buffet at Asia and Krazy Buffet are the Walmart equivalent. That's why it is a little more in prices. And like both Kohl's and Walmart, they have different things, so it just depends on which has what you need/want and taste budd and pricing.

Yelp
Fast, efficient service and the food was tasty! My family and I stopped by for their New Years's buffet and the variety of food was amazing!! We had baked scallops and mussels, fresh and baked oysters, and lobster. They also had a great variety of sushi.
google avatar

Larry B.

Yelp
Another great visit at this fine establishment! Everything was delicious, fresh and tasty. I believe the price even went down since the last time I was there. Either way, they do offer a senior discount. I'm very glad we went back to this restaurant, and look forward to returning in the near future. I'm not going to wait another 3 years! Fantastic still crab and really good lobster, not forgetting about the delicious fresh sushi!

R J.

Yelp
Food is NOT fresh. Very stingy of lobsters, almost like toothpaste which you need to squeeze it, the wait persons will bring some out. The price was jacked up during holiday season. That is dishonest. But I would not come back regardless how low the price is when the food is not fresh.

Yelp
Imperial Sushi & Seafood is not just another asian style buffet full of meats and sides, this place actually offers some crab and lobster options if you are willing to spend the $44.99 to get it, which I was last July. I had no idea what I was originally walking into so when my wife and I hit up Imperial for the first time, I was pretty blown away at some of the options this place had. While the photo below shows what was on my first plate, the selection here is definitely a couple pegs up from a typical buffet. The bar area here is pretty dang large and like I said, it features the likes of crab legs and lobster claws. Now, are these the top crab and lobster you can get? Absolutely not, but these are still lobster claws and crab legs, even if they are on the smaller side. The food here was all really good for a buffet, from the sushi and chicken dishes to the chicken and side dishes. The restaurant itself was pretty large and featured a ton of seating, although the decorations do just kind of make this place look like a typical buffet. Overall, Imperial Sushi & Seafood Buffet is a really good buffet option off the strip and a much higher quality buffet then some of the other options. Would I come back? Maybe, and it's most likely going to be for the crab and lobster.
