18 Dishes to Add to Your California Bucket List | Eater

"The reigning monarch of Californian fast food, In-n-Out boasts of drive-thru lines so long that they can cause traffic problems on surrounding roads. Its iconic “secret menu” hasn’t been confidential since the advent of the internet, but there’s still a small thrill to ordering a sloppy “animal-style” burger made with extra spread, extra pickles, grilled onions, and a mustard-grilled patty. And even though it’s no longer a California-exclusive, In-n-Out is a shining example of the state’s egalitarian idea of dining out: good food doesn’t have to cost the proverbial arm and leg. This location is just a block away from 75 years of California fast-food history: a life-sized replica of the original roadside shack, on the original lot, open on occasion for photos and tours." - Vox Creative

In-N-Out Is Expanding Eastward to Tennessee | Bon Appétit

"Founded in 1948 as a burger stand in Baldwin Park, California, the chain has grown into a cult-favorite fast-food brand known for fresh ingredients, simple offerings with off-menu customizations, and fiercely loyal fans who have lined up for openings (notably during its 2011 Texas expansion) and even road-tripped to visit every location. With roughly 385 restaurants, the company has announced an eastward push by establishing an Eastern territory office in Franklin, Tennessee, with the first new restaurant in that expansion planned for Nashville in 2026, a cautious step that could presage further national growth. The brand inspires strong opinions: devotees praise the quality and secret-menu options, while critics deem it overrated; it has also faced controversies, including a refusal by one location to enforce a pandemic mask mandate, reported donations to Republican political campaigns, and the practice of printing small biblical references on packaging." - BySam Stone

Google
The first In-N-Out location in the USA. The burgers were delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's no surprise that In-N-Out consistently receives great reviews on Google. You can really tell that strong leadership and a clear vision come from the top. Highly recommended.

Google
Pretty amazing. First time having it and I can definitely say the burgers are fantastic - good way to get fat with a smile. Fries are a bit ..eh.., but I can see the attempt to triumph McDonalds. Staff are super friendly, not much more to say beyond the fact that its pretty busy here.

Google
The very first and hands down the very best In -N- Out!!! The burgers and fries at this one just hits different and I'm glad we came back to my childhood spot. Even had a chance to check out the actual replica of the first location. Very nostalgic! ❤️

Google
I’ve always been a fan of In-N-Out—especially the burger and animal style fries—and the one thing I really appreciate is the consistency. This Baldwin Park location definitely delivers on that. Same great taste. One cool extra here is they’ve got a pretty big merch store. I didn’t expect that; I ended up walking out with a pair of socks, so that was a fun Also, just across the freeway, they’ve moved the original first In-N-Out building. Pretty cool to see if you’re into that kind of thing. Little bonus moment.

Visiting from Scotland, not having ever been to an "In-N-Out Burger" before, it certainly a notch well above other fastfood outlets. Incredible efficiency and immaculately clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful and attentive.

Foods always great at this location and always fresh. Other locations I’ve gone too sometimes taste like the food has been sitting for a bit.

Google
Been to a couple In N Out Burgers but this one was my first So Cal experience. Honestly, it was super cool seeing the unique design, the tile by the entrance was super cool. Our dining room host was super nice and attentive. Unfortunately I didn’t remember his name but he was an older man. Parking was a little difficult to find and we ended up going to a public parking place but they only charge us like $4.50 so it’s fine. My only other complaint was the drive through was pretty tricky, but the great burgers made up for it. Food was great as always and the bathrooms and dinning room were clean. 10/10

Google
As a longtime fan of In-N-Out, I can confidently say that this beloved burger chain continues to deliver exceptional quality. Their friendly service, and mouthwatering flavors have made In-N-Out the very best. What sets In-N-Out apart is their commitment to quality. The fries made from hand-cut potatoes right before your eyes are always crispy and golden. And don't forget to try them "animal style" for an extra indulgent treat! The menu may be simple, but it's this focus on doing a few things exceptionally well that makes In-N-Out stand out in the crowded fast-food landscape. Add in the friendly staff, spotless restaurants, and reasonable prices, and it's easy to see why In-N-Out has such a devoted following. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular customer, In-N-Out Burger offers a consistently delicious experience that lives up to its legendary reputation. It's not just a meal; it's a tasty piece of California culture that keeps you coming back for more.

Yelp
In and Out is what it is all about. We were driving on the freeway and I told my guy that was the original In and Out. He asked if I wanted to go. Ummm yea! Now on Sundays the company store is closed. We did walk to the original replica first and snapped a few pictures. This location has indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. Our burgers were super good as expected. Service was fast and friendly. Try visiting M - Sat for the full experience.

Yelp
Back in the days when I was young I'm not a kid anymore But some days I sit and wish I was a kid again... Wife and I used to come here when we dated. We sat outside in the parking lot sharing fries, drink and talking about our dreams. Fast forward and we continue sharing fries, burgers, drinks and now with our beautiful family. 5/5 customer service From the drive thru to the register, we've received great service at this location. Whether at night before watching the fireworks in Baldwin Park or after a doctors appointment for my wife's cravings, they have provided excellent service. Thank you In N Out staff! 5/5 Food Animal style double dub with some chopped chilies is my jam and on point with fresh tasting chopped tomatoes ans lettuce. Fries are well cooked and crispy. Ketchup on hand to put on your food or cup at your hearts desire. 5/5 Ambiance Plenty Indoor and outdoor seating available. Although with the heat it will be crowded inside. This location shares a parking lot with In-N-Out Burger University yes you can get a burger degree. Right across the freeway on Francisquito is the Original In-N-Out Burger Museum replica of the original In N Out first location. Lot of history around this location. If you want some In N Out history or to make your own history, this is a great location to start. Burgers, fries and memories. You'll remember way back your visit. God bless.

Yelp
This place is terrible! For years I have been awestruck by how many people love this crappy chain burger joint, my wife included. But our most recent visit to this "iconic" place might have finally broke the hold this place has on her. If you have never had the fries that crumble like powder in your mouth, then you're lucky, it's one of the nastiest experiences ever. It has happened to me at least a half dozen times. If you have never had a cold burger, then I would like to know where you're going, because the location next to their "Academy" has cold burgers all the time. I tried to write a review before through Yelp, but the company was able to use their influence to get my review removed. They'll probably do it again, so I am probably just talking to a wall here, but I am sick of the praise for this crappy dung pile of a joke.

Yelp
I ordered two cheeseburgers with no onion protein style. The drive-through was way too long and it was very quick and no wait for me to get my items when I went inside and ordered. Staff was friendly, quick efficient and got my order correctly. I love In-N-Out Burger.

Yelp
If you live in Cali, chances are you've eaten at least once at an In-N-Out. So this review is more about the facility than it is about the burger, which are always outstanding. Was out in these parts on my way back home and I've always wanted to try and eat in a proper sit down In-N-Out. Most people just have it go, but I had time. This location is new-ish and big. Lots of parking outside. There's also their company store inside this spacious lot that sells merch. You should check it out. Inside seats about 100 or so, and there are a few shaded tables outside. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded surprisingly. Food came out in less than 10 minutes. Now that's efficiency. They also use these nice little In-N-Out red plastic trays instead of the throwaway cardboard boxes. Nice, eco-conscious touch. It was a beautiful 75 degrees outside with not a cloud or a jacker in site. Everything was alright. So I elected to take my meal outdoors facing this really cool Cafe called Mas Cafecito. California love. In-N-Out Baldwin Park is a nice, spacious and clean establishment - the quintessential backdrop to enjoy the quintessential Socal meal!

Yelp
This location is usually great, especially since it sits in the same lot as in-n-out's university. But lately it seems like there's something wrong with our order every time we visit. Whether it be something missing in our burger or our lemon up not having any 7-up, it's a little disappointing when you finally get home and realize your order is wrong. I get it though, their drive thru is usually out to the street and their parking lot is usually full of patrons - they're busy!!! Their employees are usually nice and it's usually clean inside. Still, I'd say 75% of the time they get our orders right on the nail. Just make sure y'all check your orders before leaving if you're not eating it there!

Yelp
Just made it before closing. Stopped after a bar show. You'd think at 1am you'd be able to get "in and out" of here quick. Decided to eat in instead of waiting in the drive through. The wait was longer than midday at lunch. The restaurant was unkept with napkins, utensil, wrappers on the floor throughout the restaurant. They had to be under staffed because the trash was overflowing. I've never seen this at any other in and out. The burger was on point which I always appreciate. And the Diet Coke with added cherry Coke hit the spot! So tired after a long day/night and the cops were out arresting someone in the parking lot so had several cop cars blocking me :( I've put my getting out of a parking space squeeze to the test and was able to get out of there :)

Yelp
It's always a pleasant experience here. They never get my order wrong. Service is fast and efficient. The employees act like they want to be there. The restaurant is spotless. The food tastes amazing especially if you know how to order. Case and point: 3 x 3, whole grilled onions, raw onions, extra pickles and chopped chili's. My mouth is watering just mentioning this concoction. The servers are always smiling. It's a dream come true. In 'N Out Burger will NEVER go out of business... and this is a good thing. One of the pioneering companies that make one the best burgers in the world.

Yelp
1 1/2 minute read: Many people have come to know the IN & OUT BURGER and fell in love... with it Is it the sauce? Is it the fresh sliced tomatoes? What? Well, it's hard to describe. What you need to do is go and order one. The menu is simple. You have the opportunity to choose a hamburger or a hamburger (HAHAHAHA). But the difference is, how do you WANT your burger!! Some people want to skip the bun, so they order what is called "Protein Style ": Protein Style: a burger wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. Tomato Wrap: just like protein style, but the "buns" are tomato slices! Grilled Cheese: Two slices of melted American cheese, lettuce, tomato and spread on a toasted bun. You can get it with or without onions." For a good description of little known IN & OUT items you can order, HUEL HOUSER has a YOUTUBE segment that reveals IN & OUT secrets. What I also enjoy about IN & OUT is its LONGEVITY. This Baldwin Park location is the original thing. Yes, times have added or changed a few minor details but the BURGER has remained standing. If your traveling East on the 10 FWY and are approaching Francisquito off-ramp, take it and make a Left. Get yourself the DOUBLE-DOUBLE combo,

Yelp
wot defeq how haven't i reviewed this location yet... it's my hometown xD anyways lov lov lov the consistency of in n out, whether it be the burgers, fries, or shakes. i lov how the menu is simple so you know they perfect it. usual order is a double double (even the veggie buns are yommy), Neapolitan shake (my favorite), with well-done fries (i like em crispyyy), with some peppers for that spice ~~~

Yelp
Current list of prices, long lines on a Sunday night but service is pretty quick. You can never go wrong with a late night burger
google avatar

Thamara N.

Yelp
I love this In N Out location because they always get our drive thru orders correctly. It does get packed but they are efficient and it moves fairly quickly. My go to is a protein style single patty with grilled onions and chopped chillies. Well done fries and strawberry milkshake. Yum!

Yelp
How can this location, Store 001, not get as much love compared to other locations? This place is debatably the birthplace of the greatest burger shop in the nation. Here, you can check out In-N-Out University, which is partially a merchandise store and a training ground. At the merch store, I found old anniversary shirts dating back to the '80s and items that you see on their website and catalog. If you want to check out the historical landmark of the original restaurant location, it is just past the freeway heading north and to your left. What I ordered: DOUBLE-DOUBLE (whole grilled onions, pickles, and chopped chili) - This is my preference over Animal Style. The burger is presented fresher and doesn't look like roadkill. While dining, we had a lovely lady cleaning tables who came by and asked how our day was and if it was our first time at this site. I appreciated the gesture, and it sure seemed like she enjoyed her job.
google avatar

Yelp
Hands down the best service I have ever received at a fast food place. The ambiance is in-n-out hehe I loved how they added the jalapeños to my protein style double-double without me even asking them to. They also fried the fries well-done just like I love it!! They also have a cool company store across the street you should check out. I live closer to another in-n-out location but the Baldwin Park location stole my heart. Thanks to everyone working that day I visited!

Yelp
Delicious In-N-Out! Top-notch burgers, and it's conveniently located near the freeway and Walmart. The staff-both waiters and cashiers-were incredibly kind and welcoming. Great stop all around!
google avatar

Antonio M.

Yelp
The fries have gotten worse over the years, however hot temp they cook them, they are making no the fries too hard now when they use to be soft. Do better.

Lupe E.

Yelp
I had a huge order today and the team that was on in the 11am hour were nice, professional and fast! Thank you again ;) Food was delicious

Yelp
In-N-Out ALWAYS hits the spot! My go-to is the double double animal style with light chopped chilies & extra pickles. Service is always super fast & even cooler that the first ever In-N-Out is conveniently less than 10 minutes away from me :-) The food here is always super fresh and they use high quality products. Ordered: - Double Double Protein Animal Style w chopped chillies extra pickles - Double Single Animal Style with ketchup/ mustard/ w chopped chillies - Animal Style Fries always 10/10! :-)

Yelp
This in n out is shares a parking lot with the company store. It's always busy! There's indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking, but you may still find yourself waiting during peak times. The staff here are some of the friendliest, most helpful in n out staff I've spoken with. They keep the restaurant clean and efficient!
google avatar

Tony Y.

Yelp
Consistently fresh and always hits the spot. In n Out never fails to serve quality stuff for a fast food burger joint. It's really nice to know that the original In n Out started so close to home in Baldwin Park. When trying to eat a little bit cleaner, i'd opt out of the bun and go for the protein style. And say what you will, but i love in n out fries, well done fries are the way to go.
google avatar

Alex A.

Yelp
What can I say.. It's literally the GOAT. This is the flagship In-N-Out that came around when the expanded dining area was created for their locations. It also sits across from the very first legendary drive-thru In-N-Out that started it all.. which is now a nice museum piece. Anywhere I go, I can count on quality, consistency, and service. That's hard to beat. As always, great burgers. I love their double double with extra whole grilled onions or extra cheese!

Yelp

Yelp
My eldest daughter and I had a car situation a few days ago. All I'm going to say is that if you're planning to take a rest or nap in your car at night or day, please ensure you turn off your car lights regardless if you're sleeping for 10 mins or a few hours. Let's just say... luckily AAA is at our service. Thank you AAA! Anyway, I had to drive the car for at least 30 mins so the battery gets its charge back in order. I decided to just drive on the freeway heading west on 210 Fwy. When 30 mins was up, we were heading south on 605 Fwy. For some reason, I had an urge for In-N-Out fries and I've been wanting to check out the one in Baldwin Park because it's supposedly the original or replica of original. I'm constantly looking for the next interesting and intriguing place to visit. We got here really late or should I say early the next morning after midnight LOL. They open until 1:00 AM so perfect for us. We got 2 orders of fries with no salt and 2 cups of water. Fries were amazing! Lightly crispy and hot! It's the real deal folks... just the potato and peanut oil!!! There is no other like it LOL. Staff was friendly even at that time of the day. Thank you for staying awake and providing great service! We did drive-thru so didn't see the inside, but outside looked clean and tiddy. It's probably on the smaller size since it's one of the older In-N-Outs. Funny, they have an In-N-Out University right in the same lot and I read there's a museum nearby, too. We'll have to return to see what that's all about. Thanks again for the great tasting fries!!!

Yelp
shoutout to isaac he was very patient and supportive. super understanding with our order and even helped repeat our order 3 times for us. shoutout to in and out for being patient with us after our adventures
google avatar

Yelp
Can always rely on in n out for a quick burger and fries fix! Taste is always consistent and especially at a low cost. Service is always fast and there's a good amount of seatings outdoor/indoor. Inside is your typical classic type vibes of a burger joint.
google avatar

Kevin B.

Yelp
I have always liked the In and out. Its always packed being near the freeway and all. I had lunch here last week with my lunch crew. We had a business meeting all the way out here. We had Animal Style fries and several Double Doubles with fries and sodas. Yes, even lunch time is crowded at this location. Can't go wrong.
google avatar

Emily N.

Yelp
Service was fast and even though I had a complicated order, they got it perfect as always! I usually get either a single or double double cheese burger animal style with both grilled and raw onions, chopped chili peppers and extra grilled bun! Also asking for well done fries is always a good call. Of course top it off with a pink lemonade and seven up drink! Very affordable and hearty meal

Cindy K.

Yelp
Food was mediocre. Managers not really friendly. But staff was being kind. Pretty much lowest quality you can think of from in n out.

Yelp
July 12, 2023: After shopping in DTLA & heading to my next destination, I searched on Yelp for the nearest In N Out Burger! We took the exit in Baldwin Park & turned down Hamburger Lane! Haha! Cute street name! Ordered To Go: Grilled Cheese, animal style w/no pickles, fries & water! Yes, please! The grilled cheese was both saucy & cheesy, just how I like it! Delicious, loved every bite...& it was gone in nearly 60 seconds! Haha! Can you believe it was also 94°?! WOW!! Customer Service: Super Friendly & with a smile!! The gentleman at the register was so nice & even helped us with directions to our next stop! Thanks again! Overall: I would love to visit this location again to see the In & Out Burger company store as well, looked so cool from the outside! And of course to order a grilled cheese & fries! In N Out Burger hit the spot, loved it!

Yelp
Burger is fresh and decent. Prices are competitive. Service is great. What drags down my review = their fries. It's horrendous even if it's well done. It tastes like cardboard even with salt and dressing. What a waste and shame of its solid name.:(

Vanessa G.

Yelp
From the moment I walked in Savannah and Mya had great customer service. They greeted open the door very polite. Savannah also checked on me when I was eating asked if I needed anything. They need a raise. Keep up the great work, I'll be back.

Yelp
AN ABSOLUTELY MUST DO! 5 STARS! A FREE EVENT & FREE PARKING! It's Time to jump into The TimeMobile & scour the Earth & take you to places from a different time that you won't believe still exist. We have set the dial to 1948 in the town of Baldwin Park CA. On October 22 1948 @ 4:15 PM on Francisquito & Garvey in Baldwin Park CA. IN-N-OUT was created. It was located in a tiny building that was only 10 foot by 10 foot. On the very first day the newlyweds Harry & Esther Snyder sold a whopping 57 burgers. They took orders in their Drive-Thru restaurant via a 2 way speaker. The original store is unfortunately gone; it's where the current freeway overpass is now. They have erected this replica so people can experience what eating @ an In- N-OUT Burger in the 1940's feels like. This replica is a FREE MINI MUSEUM with FREE PARKING. No Food is served here but you can bring over your Burgers & Fries from the restaurant & eat on the old fashioned outdoor picnic tables. It's only a 2 minute walk or drive under the bridge. They have some FREE GIFTS here & at the restaurant too for their 75th Anniversary which is in 2023. This replica will be open Thursday-Sunday 11 AM-2 PM. You can come here anytime but when the gates are closed you can't get in, but you can still view it from outside the fence. When you enter, you'll see the original Huge multi story In-N-OUT Sign that has a clock on top which differs from the current logo sign. It sits next to a set of those famous criss crossed palm trees. The founder was a Huge fan of the 60's comedy film It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World where everyone was on a wild goose chase in California trying to find a treasure buried underneath a Giant Letter W. This is a Hysterical Movie watch it. The owner loved the idea so much, it inspired him to put his own spin on it. He had 2 Palm trees crossed to form the letter X - to mark the spot of his own treasured In-N-OUT restaurant. You'll also see the green grass & white stones along a driveway where you would pull your car up to order. They have a 2 way speaker box & their outdoor Menu items & prices at that time. Imagine Burgers were 25 cents, Cheeseburgers were 30 cents, French Fries were 15 cents & Cold Drinks were 10 cents. There's a Large Free standing sign that reads IN-N-Out HAMBURGERS NO DELAY. There's also a cigarette machine which used to dispense cigarettes that cost 20 cents & 1 penny extra for the matches. Now inside the museum you will see the 8 different sodas that were served in Glass bottles. There's Hires Root Beer, Nesbiitt's Orange, Nehi Cream Soda, Pepsi-Cola, Coca-Cola, Nehi Strawberry, Delaware Punch & 7Up. The Sodas were all 10 cents & if you returned the bottle you got 2 cents back. Yes recycling decades before it became main stream. Later on they added Lemonade, Hot Chocolate & Milk. Coffee was also 10 cents. There's also the stove, the fryer, the refrigerator, the French Fries Dicer, sink etc. Later on they added Lemonade, Hot Chocolate & Milk. It's tiny place inside but pretty cool. Yes this is how it all began folks. They have some FREE GIFTS next to the vintage Coca-Cola machine. There's Stickers, Hats, Candy etc. Take one of each. Outside there's a double sink & wooden soft drink container cases. There's also a gray plaque on a stand with pictures & more info. Heading Back to the restaurant, when you order your food do it the way they originally did it through the Drive-Thru. They will give you a Free paper placemat that has a picture of the original founders & some info too. Ask for a FREE second one for a Souvenir. Then head on over to The Company Store. They have all kinds of Special Merch for the 75th Anniv. - T Shirts. Hats, Toys etc. They have even reissued Merch from their 60th, 55th Anniv. Make a purchase & they'll put it in a Free 75th Anniv bag. Pick up a copy of their Free brochure. On the back is a FREE Mini IN-N-OUT poster. You can pass by their University where they train employees but you can't go inside. See my review of the Baldwin Park store for more details & more pictures. Happy 75th Birthday In-N-OUT! Come on Down & join in the Celebration & Get something to eat & get your FREE STUFF! It used to be, you had to have Mega Bucks & be really Rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

Yelp
I was in the area and was craving hamburgers. Of course I'd come to the original location of where in-n-out started. I ordered a hamburger with onions, which took about 8 minutes of waiting. The quality of the hamburger was top tier, relatively consistent at all the locations I've been to. Slightly toasted buns, a nice patty, crunchy onions, fresh lettuce and their signature spread. Overall, another 10/10 in-n-out location. Their burgers are always on point and very cheap. Can't get any burger better than this. Also, there is an in-n-out company store next door, which was great for picking out some souvenirs.
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
This place doesn't need another review, but it's always fun to stop at the original location where hamburgers were 25 cents, cheeseburgers were 30 cents, and fries were 15 cents. Amazing that the current price is actually cheaper if you inflated the 1948 prices to the present!

Yelp
You can never go wrong with In n out burgers! Always consistent and made to perfection. My so and I got the protein style and fries to share. It was crowded but we got the food pretty fast.
google avatar

Yelp
As far as fast food restaurants are concerned with, in-N-out has always satisfied my cravings and sets the standard for fast food. The facility itself is always well cleaned, condiments and utensils always stocked. The staff are always friendly and happy to help with any requests, and the food is amazing. They now even have recycling and composting available, even more to love! My usual order is the cheeseburger animal style with French fries (ask for well done if you want them crispy). Food: 5/5 Staff: 4/5 Facility: 5/5

Yelp
5 star rating for the original site of In and Out University in Baldwin Park. During prime hours, it's a bit challenging to get in through the parking lot. There is further parking near their corporate building. Once you are in, the service and food make up for the entry. Terrific food and workers quickly clear tables and remove debris for others to move to a cleaned table. Great atmosphere, happy customers upon departure. A must visit for newbies visiting Southern California .

Yelp
This In-N-Out is where it's at. Wasn't crowded at all for dinner on a Wednesday and got my food really fast. Very clean and they don't skimp on extra spread. Service was good and burgers were cooked well. Definitely my goto spot nearby for the best affordable burgers.

The lady with glasses taking drive thru orders on Sunday morning/noons is clueless of who's next in line. You guys should train her a little better. We saw her skip the car in front of us and then she skipped us So we just left cause she was taking orders for a cars that got there way after us Hopefully next time they get to take our order

Yelp
Always busy. Especially evenings and weekends. As much as i dislike having to go in to place a togo order, i will do it every time because it is fast. The space is pretty clean for the most part other than rush hours. Food always fresh.

Yelp
5 Stars in Quality, Service, Price. and Taste. I've been to numerous locations for more than 30 years and have never been disappointed. Their menu is fairly simple, burgers, fries and soft drinks, lemonade and milkshakes. What sets them apart from other burger places is the meat is fresh, not a thin frozen patty. It's also made from lean ground beef, not the cheaper grade of fatty beef. They have quite a following of die-hard fans who are in the know of the "secret" menu. It's custom-made variations not shown on the menu. Lately, I've been ordering the protein wrap to avoid carbs and lite lemonade. This way, I can enjoy their food with fewer calories. They also sell merchandise, such as t-shirts, socks, mugs, key chains, etc. A typical combo includes a burger, fries and drink for under $10. Bring your family and friends and don't forget to tell 'em Rosemary sent ya!!

Yelp
This In-N-Out location is one of the most unique they have. Located just off the 10 freeway in Baldwin Park, this In-N-Out is right down the street from the original drive thru counter that was first opened. The company owns a lot of the surrounding area which serves as a distribution center for their food. I ordered a double double animal style with well-done fries and a cheeseburger with well-done fries. In my honest opinion, In-N-Out might be the most consistent restaurant that exists. Regardless of location, it always tastes, looks, and feels the same, which is something they should be proud of. Well-done fries are the only way to get it, but it still seems to be a little-known secret. We ordered at the drive thru and the service was very quick. There was a staff member outside (even in the cold) taking orders, which expedites the process paying and receiving food at the windows. Another unique thing about the location is the university store they have that shares the parking lot with the restaurant. Inside of the store, you can find an assortment of souvenirs and clothing items for In-N-Out and its history. It's definitely worthwhile to walk through at least once. Food: 7.9/10 Location: 8.2/10 Service: 8.0/10

Yelp
Located off Francisquito Ave in Baldwin Park this is the original location from the 1940's thanks to Nadine C. For bringing this location to my attention. I never knew about this one. Tonight Nadine and I came here. Across the way in the parking lot there is the In N out Store and the University where I believe they get trained at. The parking is small so it could be a mess during the times the store and the restaurant are opened at the same time. The drive thru is off to the side so parking traffic can maneuver around. Inside is well kept up and cleaned. The employees were great and service was pretty quick as well especially cause it wasn't packed. Overall a good experience wish I could of checked out the store but it was closed already they close at 5pm every day and closed on Sundays. It was nice to visit a great landmark.

Yelp
Absolutely worst in n out I have ever ate at. Burned buns in all our burgers and this was the best one.

Yelp
This is my favorite In-N-Out Burger location I've visited. Just like any In-N-Out, the staff are excellent, hard-working, and efficient. The food is fresh and delicious. The dining room was clean and well-maintained. Overall a great experience, as I've found you can always count on at In-N-Out Burger. This location has the added bonus of having a Company Store (along with In-N-Out University) at an adjacent building. So if you want to get some cool merchandise to go with your great meal, this is a great location to visit.

Yelp
This in n out is in the same plaza as the university and the big merch store. The in n out museum is next door. They don't serve food there, but the do here! The burger is quality and fresh and value! Vegetarian option: grilled cheese, love it. If you think the meat is to thin and double2 doesn't fill you up: get 4x4! Lots of people hate the fries because it's mealy and not crispy. But they take pride in making with real fresh potato that they cut on site. For the in n out fries hater: get animal fries; it's loaded with cheese, the sauce, and grilled onion and will mask the mealy taste for sure. Staff is fast and nice. Came here in weekend lunch time and didn't have to wait long.

Yelp
They got great burgers. Well priced. Cheaper than 5-guys. I've been coming here for over a decade, and love it. The service is always on point, it can get busy depending on the time of day. It's a old school type of feel when you come in and sit down. I love it.

Yelp
The fries were horrible. We went last week and the fries were cold, burnt, hard and crunchy. They were the worst I have ever had. The burgers were fine but so very disappointed in those fries.
