In-N-Out Burger

Definitely one of the best in n out locations I've ever been to. They were very quick with my order and it was delicious!!! I'll definitely be coming back to get my usual. Also it amazes me how great the service is even with how busy it gets in there. This location is the best store I've seen in a long time.

Double double burger. Awkwardly... this is the first time in my life going to In n out. It was ok. (Edit: it's more than Ok, the burgers were really good for the price). I believe it's the most affordable compared to similar fast food places. The lines were too long for drive-through. Especially in the evening. Restrooms inside the restaurant. Soda vending machines. Togo sauces and ketchup. Edit: The service here above normal, if you sit and wait for your food, you will notice that they don't stop moving. Continuously serving customers, and that's impressive.

Well it finally happened. In n out not only got my order wrong but my burger was DISGUSTING. I ordered a well done hamburger, ket & must instead of spread. What i got was a cold pink patty in a soggy bun that was obviously soaked in spread that someone had scraped out. They must have had to scrape the lettuce out with it cuz there was barely a tiny piece that was just as soggy as the bun. Im not exaggerating any of this. The line is always long and ive never felt like it hindered the quality of their food but tonite was more than being busy. It was someone not caring about reputation of in n out and sent out a burger i know they wouldnt feed to their own dog.

Better than my first experience, this is because you have to know about the secret menu and some other items. The animal style adds some flavor. However their fries are not good at all. I would just get the burger.

My family and I LOVE In-N-Out. As usual, this place was busy. Also as usual, the staff were amazing at handling all the madness. My 4yr old son and I ordered our food, they gave him a set of crayons and a hat, we got our drinks and watched as the amazing staff did their magic. Food was great, as usual 😋

It's now been over ten times that this establishment makes my order the wrong way. I guess it's a very difficult challenge for an adult to do their job the right way. All I asked for was no spread on my hamburgers but apparently that seems to be impossible at this location for whatever reason. I guess it should be okay for people to receive their food in whatever condition as well. It's simply sad & pathetic that I have to wait in the drive thru line for at least 30 minutes every time to come home to not even be able to eat my food. It's pretty obvious that this location can care less for their paying customers that keep their business going. Horrible customer service all around. Too bad zero stars isn't an option...

My friends convinced me to get a burger with them, so I had to try it. Well let me tell you something - this place is actually all the hype people talk about it. I haven’t had a good fast food burger like this in YEARS! Jam packed in there and a decent line, but the place was still spotless. Bathrooms: clean. Floors: sweeped. Tables: spotless. Food: impeccable. I don’t want to overhype the place but for the price, the quality cannot be beaten by any large chain restaurant.

Alright, listen up, you burger enthusiasts! This is Captain 619, and I'm here to share my take on the In-N-Out Burger experience in El Cajon, CA. On this auspicious day, Veterans Day, the Surfer Girl and I decided to swing by this establishment to take them up on their offer of a free meal for the brave men and women who have served in uniform. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, the In-N-Out team was ready to spring into action, determined to provide these hungry veterans with the ultimate dining experience. The burger-slinging crew stood at the ready, poised to deliver a dining experience worthy of their sacrifices. It was as if they had been expecting our arrival, with the American flag flying high and the jukebox blasting the Marines' Hymn. Now, I may be laying it on a bit thick, but the hospitality was truly outstanding, brah. These young warriors understood the significance of Veterans Day and the sacrifices our brothers and sisters in arms have made over the years. It's not just about getting a free Double-Double; it's about honoring those who have put it all on the line to defend our country. In-N-Out gets that, and they showed it through their unwavering respect and gratitude, dude. These young Americans were as sharp and efficient as a well-tuned surfboard, and they were genuinely thankful for our service. They treated us vets like heroes, and for that, I tip my cover to them. The food, as always, was about as close to manna from heaven as you can get, but the real highlight was the appreciation and reverence shown to those who've worn the uniform, bro. So, to Lynsi Snyder, President of In-N-Out Burger, the El Cajon Manager, and the patriots who served us today, thank you! Your crew, and the entire In-N-Out family, I say Semper Fidelis and thank you for always honoring the brave men and women who've defended this great nation. Hoorah, dude!

What makes In-N-Out so great is that you know exactly what you're getting every single time you walk in. They never cut corners - their burgers are always made with fresh meat, and they actually cut their fries right there in the store. Plus, the workers are always super friendly and quick, making every visit a good experience. The best part? They really care about giving back to the community, especially how they show appreciation for our veterans on Veterans Day. And while other places keep raising their prices, In-N-Out keeps things affordable without sacrificing quality. That's what makes them special in my book.

normally love In N Out, but this location let down big time. first, i noticed the girl outside at the order station was coughing, had drip coming down her nose, and was clearly sick(eeekkk!) after having the order been repeated twice correctly, i get to the handoff window, and one of the fries that i ordered Animal Style, was regular. i pointed it out & requested they be made correctly, after basically arguing back and forth with the cashier and showing the receipt, and even trying to hand back the incorrectly made fries, i paid the $4 for the "fry change". honestly really disappointed with how it went. sorry guys!

The cashier Asaja was very kind and helpful. She made our experience great and very patient. Place was clean and the food was AMAZING! Thank you!

This In & Out is great. It is stand alone storefront and has plenty of parking. It can get crowded in the drive thru, so we always order in and dine in. The place is just ever so clean. The service is nice and friendly. It is a cute place and there are quite a few places to sit. You can also order take away. All of their food is great and with all the fast food places raising their price, In & out has promised they won't raise their prices more than 25 cents. They also have a secret menu, which is not a secret to most of us. You can get a grilled cheese, chili, you can have lettuce as a bun or you can try their animal style with is a double double with everything on it and thousand island as a dressing. Their fries never disappoint. They are always hot and not too salty. You can also order them without salt, but that is going to take a minute. We love In & Out. You will as well.

3.5 The place was trashy, but the employees were nice. It was a long wait, but that's expected, it's an In-N/Out after all. The food was well cooked and seasoned (except for the fries), and the burgers were juicy.

Hadley (9 years old) In-N-Out is my favorite! The fries are great and the burgers are to! If I had a number one pick for a food place, it would be IN-N-OUT!

Loved everything about it other than getting in and out of the parking lot. Burger was delicious. Service was relatively quick and definitely friendly. Just tough to get thru the drive thru. Location is clean inside and out.

The store always has the absolute best service and the burgers are always picture perfect. This in no out also always serves the best fries, hot, crisp and golden with not too much salt.

I stayed in the hotel right next to in and out for 3 days. I ate here every day for my stay. Every time the staff was smiling and welcoming. They are Always Super Busy but make time to provide exceptional service. My food was always fresh and hot. I loved my Vanilla shake as well. The Puppy patties are only $1.30 each, my Dog loved those meat patties. I would eat here for more days if I were to stay longer. The atmosphere is always bustling and all the customers are happy as well. It is so hard to find good service at fast food places. This place stands out as the best fast food experience I have had. Thank you guys for making my hotel stay much more pleasant.

The food here is amazing. I absolutely love In N Out. The ingredients are fresh as always. The service is great, staff is really nice. Nothing too special about the interior, looks like any other In N Out. Overall, definitely recommend trying. But if you're planning on going through the drive thru, prepare to wait a long line. (In the photo, I ate some of the fries before the photo was taken, the portion doesn't actually look like that)

Busy around 11:30-1:30 pm M-F. But love the food. Sometimes a hit or miss but it's good and cheap!

BOMB! Hubby was craving for burgers so we ended up here. Double single, whole grilled onion + chopped grilled onions, toasted buns and double chopped chilies. Give it a try. Service was pretty quick. Spacey inside for dining in.

Food is delightful, delicious. Service is always excellent, the setting is clean and neat the price is very affordable. Only con is that there is a lot of people always there and order just takes awhile, but even if it takes awhile when the order arrives it's always fresh n hot. I do recommend to come to this place.

First time trying In-N-Out! Loved the experience, but personally I didn't find the food outstanding. BUT... I would still come back and eat here again. The burgers are definitely their specialty. I got a double double protein style and a side of fries with spread on the side. Great experience. I feel like the fries don't have the best flavor and kind of taste like cardboard (which I have heard others say,) but I am not a big "fry person." I also didn't find the spread to be "AMAZING." I didn't see much flavor... I thought it was ketchup, mayo, and relish. Overall, definitely go if you want to experience In-N-Out and are not from the area, but don't expect it to be a lot better than your typical Wendy's burger.

A Double Double, a Cheeseburger, Fries & and shake all for under $20 was a great deal! Service is always excellent & restaurant is impeccable!

Always worth the wait: I haven't been to this location for a minute. Glad to see they are still crushing it. The five stars are for the food. I went here late night and the burgers/fries were spot on. My burger was well put together. It wasn't messy at all and the bun was a little crispy just how it should be. Even with the rain it they did a great job at pushing out the food fast since no one was outside talking orders. Service was friendly too, thank you Frida for being so sweet. Definitely will have me coming back to this location when i'm in El Cajon.

Standard fast food burger. There were 20 cars over three lines for drive through at noon on a Monday. Inside, there was probably 10-15 people waiting for food. The fries were shoestring, but the grilled onions with sauce (mayo, ketchup, and sweet pickle relish) was similar to McDonald's Big Mac sauce.

The management here doesn't care about how many ADA violations they their company is making. I can never access the disabled parking or safely access the ADA access walkways in the parking lot next door at the Hampton because the neighboring In-n-Out directs their traffic through the parking lot, blocking the ADA parking area. I've spoken with the In-n-Out management several times on two different stays and with the hotel management. Apparently, they are required by the city to direct traffic this way. This is a code violation, and it is against federal and state laws. I don't see how this is possible. The hotel management has tried many times to resolve this with the restaurant management, including corporate, and has made no headway. I've tried the polite way three times. This last time I was very forceful and promised a call back. I'm still waiting and I suspect they will never call.

I ordered animal fries but just got fries. Unfortunate that I didn't check until I got home home

While visiting San Diego we had to go to In-N-Out Burger because you won't find them back East. There also seems to be a hype behind this place too. My wife and I went and got the double double with no cheese, a cheeseburger, fries, and pink lemonade. I have to say, the burgers are definitely worth the visit. Excellent flavor! They aren't too heavy or greasy. Top level burger compared to most places out there. The fries were good but they weren't as good as other fast food kind of fries. They almost tasted like they were baked or cooked in an air fryer. A little too dry. Tasty but different. The pink lemonade was sweet and works well with the burger and fries. The staff was well kept and friendly. The overall survive was fantastic. The tables were clean. Even though it was super busy at lunch, the whole experience was enjoyable. The prices were good too. I recommend In-N-Out Burger.

Good is always fresh cooked right when you order it. Very good customer service. Cashiers always have a smile and are eager to help you while ordering. The noise level is average everyone is eating and enjoying themselves.

Stopped in here when I was in the area the other day. I've been here a couple times when visiting family and it's always been super consistent. This time something was pretty off. The drive-thru line was short and the person who took my order was very nice. Once I got through the pay window, I went to the window to get my order. The guy asked if I wanted any sauces and handed me my drink. A second later he quickly hands me my bag. Once I set it down in my car I noticed half of the fries spilled out into the bag. Not a huge deal, but once I got to the house I was going to I realized it wasn't just the fries that seemed thrown together. My protein style burger must not have been assembled right and was completely falling apart. And they're already messy so it wasn't very smooth to eat. I'm assuming just an off day and will come back whenever I'm in the area and give them another shot.

The line looked extremely long!! The process ended up being so fast and convenient. The workers were all so so nice! Not a grumpy one in the bunch. The guy who took my order outside was incredibly sweet and double checked my order. Food was hot and tasty.

There food is always great so 5 stars on that however I had an interview on the 8th of this month and it went great the lady that interviewed me was nice said I was a great candidate and that she or someone would get back to me by that Friday through email to let me know if I got the job or not that would have been the 12th I didn't get an email at all so I gave it a couple of days then I called In n out on the 15th for some reason their calls go straight to HR and not the store HR told me they emailed the store and the store told HR that they would get back to me soon and they haven't got back to anyone yet so then HR told me to give them 3 more days then if they don't respond go down there I gave it the 3 days and didn't follow up because I haven't worked and didn't wanna go all the way down there and waste gas to be told I haven't got a job I guess I'm just disappointed that I went down there for an interview and got no response I'm really in need of a job .

The kids wanted In N Out, so In N Out they got! This location is right in the parking lot of our hotel, so it was convenient. This place is a madhouse! They have kind of like a "holding cell" for cars....3 different lanes you pull into. They let in one lane at a time and take your order. (Even though it took forever to order and was slammed busy, their system is pretty efficient). I ordered some cheeseburgers and fries for the kids, made it through the line, got my bag of food, and just as we were pulling away........looked in the bag, wrong order! They gave us a plain hamburger and a double hamburger with tomato and spread. I parked and got the kids out of the car and we walked inside. I took my order up to the counter and let them know what had happened. This is where the In N Out customer service shined bright, and the sole reason for 5 stars! They apologized, immediately offered us 2 free chocolate shakes, and let us know that they would remake our correct order. We had our correct order out within less than 5 minutes. I really appreciated how they fixed the situation! Kudos to them! The kids loved their burgers and fries (as always). Me personally, probably wouldn't head back to this In N Out again just due to the wait (granted, we went around 5:45pm on a Monday)...took about 20-25 minutes total from the time we got in line to the time we had our food. If there is no drive through line, sure, Ill go for it. But, if there are cars lined up by the Hampton Inn, you are definitely going to be waiting awhile!

This is our G-daughter OG's favorite place. She just loves it. I asked her why? She said I don't know. I mean besides the burgers n fries that she likes. And the friendly service, I asked is it just that it feels homey to you? She said yah. It just makes her happy. So there you have it. It's not the best burgers n fries n shakes, but it's usually where we go if it's up to OG!

Worst In-N-Out in the country. This company has a standard and this location definitely doesn't live up to it. Amazing SLOW service. This place needs to be shut down till they can get it right

The best times to come here and not have a long wait in like is after lunch (130ish to 3pm).... I know that's not an ideal time for most, but if you can I've always seen the line is not that significant. Today (02/05/2021) I was in and out the drive thru in less than 10 minutes. And on my less than 10 minute drive home my double double minus tomato with the meat well done and animal style fries with extra sauce and onions was absolutely delicious!!!! No complaints here. Staff are wearing mask, drive-through was seamless and everyone was friendly. The parking lot is terrible with all the other businesses so be strategic how are you gonna get in and what time of day are going.

It's In N Out. It's a classic. At this location in particular, it's a pain to navigate. It shares a parking lot with several additional businesses and restaurants. The parking lot is far too small. There are almost never any parking spaces available. The In N Out line often extends into and around the parking lot, making traffic a real headache. The In N Out is always packed, and the drive thru can routinely take 20 minutes or so to get through. This is not a location where you will be "In N Out." The food is good and we've never really had an issue with anything we've ordered. Sometimes, if you go in and order there are far fewer people inside, but that requires you to find a parking space in the lot.

Burger was soggy with no lettuce. Ordered a large coke. They said I ordered a Dr. Pepper which I hate so I told them they got it wrong before I paid for my food then when I pulled up to second window to get my food she tried to give me a regular coke and I said no it was a large and she still gave me a large Dr. pepper. Absolutely ridiculous!

I love In- N - Out burger and the hamburgers are lot better than the McDonald's hamburgers and I hate McDonald's and the hamburgers taste yucky and it taste better than McDonald's and hate my first job at McDonald's and it was a crappy job started in high school. I always love In- N - Out burger for hamburgers and the fresh cut French fries.

Crumbs I got look like my dogs treats. Came when there was barely anybody here. My friends burger had a hair in it. Wont come back to this location.

First the drive thru window moves very very slow 15-20 minutes easy with 3-4 cars ahead of you. Second, the food is way overpriced for the quality of the food.$5.20 for a double no bigger than other $3.00 doubles and fries your choice of cold or soggy.Frys are never hot fresh off the grill. Another gripe is the inside is filthy alot and you should not have to ask for a clean counter and table. Id say try if you like but Id day $11 for Burger,(no frills)frys and coke is a little spendy for a the poor beef,etc quality..Horrible.

The homie and I rolled in at late last night after a Machine Head concert. I was sweaty, tired and sore. Michael the employee working the register welcomed to In-N-Out in the classic Good Burger voice. It cracked me up and gave him my order. A double double with both kinda of onions. It hit the spot after the metal concert. Store was clean like always. Good job In-N-Out! Give Michael a bonus!
