In-N-Out Burger Relocating This Thursday in East County - Eater San Diego
"Beloved burger dynasty In-N-Out will shutter its El Cajon location at 1541 N. Magnolia Avenue this Thursday, June 20. Founded in 1948 by Harry Snyder as California’s first drive-thru, the Irvine-based company has outposts throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, and Oregon and is still run by the Synder family. Thursday’s closure is really a relocation, as a new East County In-N-Out will also be opening its doors this Thursday at 100 Fletcher Parkway, just two miles from the previous location. So don’t worry, you’ll still be able to get your burgers, shakes, fries during the transition. Manager Genevieve Dement, a 14-year veteran of In-N-Out, will transfer over along with 70 employees. Open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. and until 1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, the brand new facility has a drive-thru lane and a larger dining space that can seat 84 guests.
