Burgers are amazing. Perfecr size and very good. The fries fall short..this place is super busy in the evenings but worth it. Priced well for a family to all eat. Lots lf seating and some table are outside as well..

It was extremely busy this Saturday and lines were long, however they were fast and efficient. It was a standing room, but they had staff clearing and wiping down tables immediately for next family to sit down. They were fully staffed and food came our fairly fast for crowd. Their process was impressive 👏. Great job!

I had an amazing experience at In-N-Out, thanks to Zachary! From the moment I walked up to the cash register, his positive energy and cool vibes were unmatched. Oh my goodness. We do not have these at home and this was THE BEST BURGER EVER. Nicely put together a d fresh fries. The people were great.

Ordered an animal style burger with regular fries. Not only did they get my order wrong and put my fries down as animal fries but after taking the first bite, realized they also completely burnt the top bun of my burger.

TASTIEST BURGERS - PROTEIN STYLE - On the way back from McKinny where we celebrated friends 65th Anniversary, we stopped in at Inn-N-Out in The Colony. This will be our dinner heading back home. We have been eating all day long, and this will be a small dinner for us. We LoVe In-N-Out and stop at one whenever we are on a road trip because we do not have one in San Angelo, Texas. Arrived around 4:45 pm or so, and they are really busy. But then, every In-N-Out is always busy. That being said, we were at the counter in no time. Ordered my Double-Double, Protein Style, with Tomato, Onion & Pickle. My Wife is getting their Single, with Cheese, Protein Style, with Tomato, Onion & Pickle. We are also getting two small drinks. Protein Style is our choice - it reduces the carbs. If you haven't tried it yet, do so; you will love how it tastes. S Anthony is our order taker person, and in a few minutes, he called out our number. Check out those pictures and you will see lots of add-ons, double size, on each burger. Not just one, but "Two" slices of Onions (and I mean slices, not the loose partial rings, whole slices), also "Two" slices of Tomatoes, and the pickles are there with lots and lots of Lettuce wrapped around those burgers. These Protein Style Burgers are very Tastylicious. Love how they season the pattys and all the add-ons are fresh and delicious. Protein Style is how we LoVe our Burgers and In-N-Out does them the way they should be - loaded with lettuce. My Baby and I headed back home with very happy tummies. We stopped at in & out with our 3 grands today and was served by Jesse . He is the most patient and had excellent ideas on how to split the food between the kids. It's rare to have this help in ordering and really appreciate his help. A great employee that is well on his way to management! Thank you Jesse for all that you do to make our experience amazing!

Stopped by for an amazing burger and got one! Made to perfection...enjoyed every bite although I felt like the beef got smaller. I'll have to look next time I go before I start eating it. The service was fantastic...and one associate even came by to ask if it was ok to take my trash away. I think his name was Isiah(?). I barely could see his name tag. Excellent service though. This location was LOUD. So many screaming kids...but that's not their fault. 5 star visit.

I had never been to In-N-Out Burger before, and my boss insisted that we go. We arrived around lunchtime on a Monday and it definitely was busy. I will say the staff was incredibly efficient. Everybody was moving! I ordered the double with fries and a drink. While the burger was delicious, I definitely would have ordered a single as the double was really big! I wasn't overly impressed with the fries as they kind of came across to me as just warmed up frozen fries. There was something off about the texture. Overall, good experience. They're located within a strip mall area so while there is ample parking, it is a busy strip mall area so parking can be hard to find at times.

I don't know why the ratings aren't higher! Seriously folks, best fast food burger, IYKYK! Getting the #1 combo meal: a Double Double, fries and a drink for under $10 is a steal. In addition, you get excellent service at the counter and an employee that's constantly coming around to wipe up tables and to help if you need anything. Sure the drive thru line is long but eat inside. Dining room is clean. Burger is huge, generous portion of fries! And seriously, the fries aren't greasy nor do they have an old oil taste. You can taste the potato.

First time ever to an In-n-out burger! The menu is literally 6 things: cheeseburger, double cheeseburgers, hamburger, fries, pop,and shakes. I ordered a cheeseburger combo no onions. Includes lettuce, tomatoes, burger sauce, fries and pop. They call your number. I only ate 1/2 the bun as I'm not supposed to have many carbs. The fries were also fresh cut and really good. I did buy a t shirt for $21 with tax. It says in-out Texas on front and a cool palm tree scene with in-n-out on back. My dad says the time to buy is when you see it. Staff/Miguel was friendly. He found me the shirt. The place was hopping. Review 12 in 2025.

Always a line at nearly every in n out you visit. This location especially has its own traffic even after midnight. But the reason is well known. It's good, cheap, fresh and just tastes like a good clean burger. Chopped chillies makes all the difference for me now. Good burgers always. Just not as big as the others, but just right.

Consistently good! The burgers are always good and the fries are usually soggy but today I order a double meal and a cheeseburger meal and the fries were actually ok. Had a few before passing them over to the kid that finished it up.

When we're on the go and need a quick bite, In-N-Out Burger is a good choice. We arrived and got a pleasant greeting even though they were busy with a crowd inside and a backed up drive through. Roxanne was very pleasant and dealt well with our pesky questions. We would up with cheeseburgers and fries, both of which were made animal style. The fries, with cheese, onions and special sauce, were practically a meal by themselves. The burgers were fresh and tasty. Definitely made the right choice.

I love In-N-Out anyways, and it's my favorite cheat meal once in a while. But today was exceptional. We were lugging ourselves and the baby and all her crap in and Bader greeted us and held the door open (small thing but definitely noticed). We got settled in after placing our order and got the child set up in a high chair and her comes Bader yet again with a hat and stickers for our 2 year old. Bro keeping my kid happy? Ok above a small thing now, but still super appreciated. He walked around taking care of everyone and cleaning tables and just generally crushing it then all of a sudden here he is again.... But this time with our food! I'm not saying this is the status quo but when you're hungry and have a 2 year old and you don't have to put out extra effort and enjoy the time out with your family. Absolutely stellar. Thank you sir. For making my day. You are seen sir. Keep crushing it!

1/27/23 Definitely HIT the SPOT!! My friends & I were super hangry & headed to the nearest In n Out. For the first time, this particular location is... cricket, cricket cricket. Only a couple of patrons dining in & the drive thru is fairly deserted. Staff are friendly & the burgers were great tasting! The fries were the best, seasoned well!! Bellies are full, we'll sleep well hahahaha

The official burger spot of me... if I'm not getting a double-double animal style (no pickles, no tomatoes) than I'm getting an animal fry-well with 2x Flying Dutchman. The service is always top notch regardless of the locations I've been to (in TX) and as a CA native, this place always reminds me of home sweet home.

We hadn't been to this location for a couple years. We were wanting a animal style hamburger and fries so up to The Colony we went. We were happily greeted as we entered even though they were busy which was impressive. The girl working the counter was very friendly and helpful. We had a little problem with a gift card but the manager quickly solved it which we appreciated. The food came out quickly and was hot and fries were crispy everything was delicous. Another satisfied customer here, know we'll be back again soon.

This place will always be my go-to for an amazing VALUE meal !! You truly can't go wrong with a cheeseburger AND fries for $5... & one that tastes GOOD. Seriously - the burger is actually delicious. This location is open until 1am which makes it the perfect night spot for a late snack or meal after an event. The workers are always very friendly and the place is typically clean! I ordered today with ease and was served my meal after about 5-7 minutes. I always order a single Cheeseburger (no onions) and Fries and then ask for In N Out sauce packets on the side for the fries. (I don't usually get the animal style fries because it's drenched in too much sauce and I don't care for the onions personally). All I'm saying is In N Out is the best chain that has come to Texas ;)

So I haven't had in n out since maybe 2016-2017. So I told my partner they could pick anything to eat for dinner tonight and I'll have no objections. Lol So obviously they chose in-n-out , so I said ok let's go! Get there. Not too packed. I order the #1 with grilled onions and sauce on the side because I'm weird with sauces lol. Got regular fries. I must say, the food was actually really good and I was not mad about their dinner decision. The meat was seasoned well. The right amount of saltiness. The grilled onions were delicious. Wish you could get bacon here but I know that's not their thing here, however the burger was pretty decent. A solid 8 on the burger. The regular fries were decent. I did end up dipping them in the in-n-out sauce! I got the strawberry shake as well. Not too thick or runny. The consistency was just right. Strawberry flavor was light but good. I think I'll try the vanilla next as I tasted the chocolate shake my partner got and I thought it was just ok on the chocolate flavor! I also tried my partners animal style fries and they were pretty good as well. I liked the sauce way more than I thought I would. Will definitely eat here again if I'm looking for a quick simple burger and fry. I misjudged you in-n-out for quite a few years but glad I gave it another try.

Well run place and absolutely ratings every time I go. Probably the only fast food restaurant that keeps improving every time I go. Last time I went not only I got my animal style burger in 2 minutes but with a smile. That makes a difference. Other places is like ----- here's your food---- now go!! But not in&out--- Opens till 1pm

From Seattle, I miss the southern California In and Out experience so with much gladness, I screeched to a halt when a Dallas sign caught my eye. Too late in the night for fries, I got the double double alone. It was incredibly delicious. Better than I'd remembered. The bun so soft, fresh and grilled, all veg crisp fresh and plentiful and two burgers which seemed like quarter pound burgers. So big I couldn't finish it all. So good!

I lived in California for many years before moving to Texas and had in n out many times. I was excited to see that they have an in n out in Texas. I ordered the number 1 which is a double-double, fries and a drink. The food quality was definitely there and tasted amazing. Definitely will be going back whenever I crave a burger. I went drive through so did not see much of the interior.

With gas prices at it's all time high and inflation through the roof you can find me at In N Out. This iconic American fast food chain is the queen of burgers. Every time I pass by a In N Out there's always a drive thru line of hungry customers trailing all the way around the building to Narnia! I've been tryin to watch my figure lately so my go to is the cheese burger with a lettuce wrap and add grilled onions. My partner in crime got a double double with a lettuce wrap. You can't go wrong with a side of fries. If you're having a bad day or wanna enhance your day get the animal style fries! Not sure if you will turn into a animal or go animal mode after words but you won't regret it! Food is always fresh. Service is amazing. Not to mention their soda machine is touchless! They are livin in the future baby!! Come on in and walk on out with a smile!

Really hope they can figure something out about the wait times in the drive through, no point in coming to grab fast food when it takes 25+ minutes to process 6-7 cars. Mind you this is at 3pm, not even peak lunch rush where it may be understandable to have such a long wait. Food is great here and the quality is always good, but don't want to come back because of the wait!

My child wanted In and Out because she hadn't had it in a long time. When I pulled in to the restaurant there was a very long line at the drive through so we decided to go inside. It was somewhat full inside but we were able to place our orders fairly quickly. We ordered cheeseburgers- animal style & fries. We waited about 15 minutes to get our order. The food was fresh and tasted good.

Home boy at the window laughing and having a blast while making people wait 20+ min for 2 burgers and proceeds to tell me "we are under staffed" mind you as you drive past the windows you can see the kitchen and they have 5 people back there. Timely fashion please Bun was soggy was soggy as hell which means happy guy was laughing and having the time of his life while letting my order sit there. Boxed my animal fired like straight trash.

Every time I visit my friends in the Colony I stop here. This juicy classic California burger chain making customizable patties & french fries. Also, they serve killer Lemonade. They make some pretty good thick vanilla shakes. Everything is made to order, and you can watch threw a huge glass window in the drive threw. Pretty cool.

This is our go-to spot when we can't think of anything else!! Its our comfort food!! We have had the single burgers, as well the protien-style double double, but nothing beats their original double double burgers! Always freshly made, they just hit your heart! Super delicious. The great smell of grilled burgers and copped grilled onions also their fries are to sit for. Took the boys to eat here and the staff are super friendly. Even went to give me my fries I forgot as we drove off as soon as we got the burgers Great food and service. Will be back.

When I moved to The Colony the Sam Rayburn Tollway was a two lane country road so I've seen many changes around here and a lot of things come and go. Before In-And-Out Burger opened I heard all the hype that they were the rage in California (BFD) and their burgers were second to none! So like most of us I had to give them a try. After going a few times I needed to change up my routine a bit. The menu is very limited. Basically just Burgers, French Fries and Drinks. That's cool. After all they are just a Burger Joint. I'll admit the burgers are good! The Meat, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions and Buns are very fresh and tasty everytime. The Fries straight up SUCK! Always cold unsalted and extremley dry. Taste like cardbord sticks. Apparently they use Sunflower Oil in their fryers because it's a healthier choice. Give me a break! We're eating Burgers and Fries washing them down with Soft Drinks and Shakes. Who's worried about health eating here? They need to get back to the old style Vegetable Oil or maybe Crisco Shortening. I like a little grease on my fingers when I eat my Fries like I'm used to. I don't drink Soft Drinks or Shakes anymore so I always keep bottled water and some chips in my vehicle to snack on so nowdays when I stop there I just order a couple of Single Burgers and I'm good to go. Saves some money too. Like I say, the Burgers are good but that's about it! If I want a great fastfood Burger and Fries that are still cooked the way they should be I just go to "Whataburger". A Texas Native! They have a lot more options to choose from too. Also you can customize your burger anyway you want without having to know about some stupid "Secret Menu" nonsense! Absolute worse burger and fry combo I've ever known. I decided to give In and Out a chance since I thoroughly enjoyed it when I visited California some time back. I quickly realized chain restraints may not be for me. I ordered the cheese burger meal with the spread (1000 Island dressing) on the side. The fries were terrible, cold and unsalted. The freshest part of the burger was the lettuce. There was more onions than meat on it and over just a little disappointing. Definitely not missing much here. However, the puppy patty was a hit!

Yes! Yes! Yes! I'm very picky when it comes to burgers. It's hard to find flavorful and good quality meat. I first heard of In-N-Out when I was in California years ago and couldn't find time to try it. Therefore, this was my very first food stop when I visited The Colony. The menu is simple. We all ordered the Double Double Meal. I absolutely loved the large chunk of onion in the middle! The burgers were nicely dressed and the fries were delicious too! I don't like to revisit places while on vacation, but we ate here twice. That says a lot!

We came in through the drive through and the person taking the order, Gayathiri, was incredibly rude and this wasn't the first time either. When ordering a Flying Dutchman whole grilled wrap, she proceeded to tell us "yea I know" before we could complete the order. When greeted at the window, she was still rude and gave us our drink with ice when we specifically asked for no ice. When receiving our food, the Flying Dutchman wasn't whole grilled wrap, it was only placed on the bottom.

can say my first ever visit to any in-n-out was this past sunday. We went through the drive thru so my photos are from that perspective. We ordered our food "in tray" which is essentially an open faced cardboard box for organizing your food to eat in the car. Our order #1 double patty burger with substitutions (removals). #2 single patty burger cheese. both come with fries. i got a shake instead of soda. i got a "neapolitan shake" which you guessed it, was chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Ok so ive never been to in-n-out so this whole experience was from that perspective. First the burger was fine. There was zero awesomeness. it was a basic burger. we knew it was going to be so thats fine. the burger seems slightly smaller than a normal burger but im not sure if thats in my head or no. i ate a fry and didnt realize thats why they give you salt packets. i laughed at myself. ok so we have to salt our own fries. good except id recommend putting all the fries into the cardboard tray. and then dumbing salt. mixing. dump another salt packet and mix. for however much you have. its one salt packet per order of fry. but you need to be able to toss that shit around or its not gonna be even. the fries are clearly like they said. cut fresh and fried. if you know about cooking. or cook at home. you know how potatoes fry. well they have that..potatoeyness. if you know..you know. they are not bad. but when you are used to regular fast food fries it makes your taste buds zing. they were different but good. the shake was so mellow. not enough shake. im not fat but for that Neapolitan..i could be. i could be so fat for that shake. so fat. i was dreading that car line for the drive thru. but it moved at a steady pace. i sat at taco bell for longer (22min boo Taco hell) and the employees were chipper. i think they need way more trash cans around the parking lot. i cant say anything about the inside. looked very busy. no pickles. i took personal offense. i like a pickle on my burger. i thought we had this weird groovy ive never been to california this was my chance type relationship. and then i realized it was so basic cuz there was no pickle. not even one. sad. i ended on a sad note. people should not go through all those emotions eating and then be sad.

One thing I hate about In-N-Out is the fact that it ruined burgers in all other fast food joints! This location in specific can get really busy, drive thru lines are long (I mean that's normal in any In-N-Out) and it's in a nice convenient spot. I haven't dined in, so cannot comment on it. Food and customer service are on point as usual.

Apparently putting a lid on a drink cup is too complicated for their employees, so I ended up with sweet tea all over my door and inside my vehicle. They didn't even give me a new cup. Absolutely unacceptable. Thanks a bunch In-n-out, will absolutely tell everyone I know how competent they are at this location.

Stopping here made my day! The cheeseburger was so yummy! The beef was very juicy and remember to add onions, it really taste much better with it! The onion give a little crunch when you bite into it! It taste like they just made it, not like any other burger places that I've been to and it was only $2.90, what a bargain!

My son ordered some of the animal style French fries and an Arnold Palmer all of which are on the secret menu. He loved the and for $6.60 you get a pretty big portion.

Just go to the one on Preston Rd, the service is better, more indoor seating, and all around a better vibe. This one is almost always trashed.

I haven't had In-N-Out and it's time to indulge myself. The burger was on point and the price has gone up from my memory. The fries were excessively dry. It was quite disappointing because I have had In-N-Out throughout California, Las Vegas, and Arizona. Yet, I have to experience subpar fries in this caliber. One burger to rule them all. One burger to find them. One burger to bring them all.

I missed this so much! Coming from Cali these are a hit back home. The sauce, delicious. The patty, juicy. The grilled onions be hitting different too. It's a burger that brings me joy and happiness.

Burger goes in, then comes out within a few minutes. Restaurant wasn't too clean looking, so that's probably why. Go back to California and stay there please!

This was my first time at In-N-Out and it is one of the places actually worth the hype. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Quick service, great workers, and the simple menu allows everything to taste perfect. It tastes like real food and not mystery meat surprise you might get from other fast food spots. Chocolate shake was good but nothing incredibly unique.
