We have eaten here several times for lunch, the location is convenient by Miracle Mile and Northwestern Healthcare. The lunch buffet is very reasonably priced for all you can eat. The authentic and beautiful decor makes it special for birthday occasions or intimate dates. I love the goat dish which is very tasty. My girlfriend who eats at a lot of Indian restaurants always enjoys their buffet. The staff and manager are super nice. Very clean and upscale.

Located at prime downtown area and one of the best Indian restaurants with real Indian taste. We ordered Paneer Tikka, Chana Masala, Tandoori Roti and Gulab Jamun and we liked everything. The food taste and quantity is above average. First time here and everything was wonderful! Service was excellent, great recommendation for appetizer, and the shared platter was authentic & tasty! We definitely will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Garden Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I started with their appetizers, including the Punjabi Samosa and Chicken Tikka, both of which were outstanding. For the main course, I tried the Chicken Biryani, Butter Chicken, Chef's Special Chicken Tikka Masala, and Murgh Vindaloo. Each dish was incredibly flavorful and brought back memories of authentic Indian food I haven't experienced in a long time. The ambience of the restaurant is another highlight. Went with friends for buffet which costs 23$ per head. Starters : Started with bread pakora which was dry, medu vada was good and chutney was very fresh, rassedaar a alloo was good but coming to puris omg it was so bad, puri cut it into 4 pieces too chewy to eat. Main course : paneer sabzi was too salty for me, Broccoli sabzi was too oily you can check picture, soya bean sabzi was also too oily as shown in the picture, naaan was very nice, spinach rice was also good. Dessert : fruit cream was very nice , soojhi halwa too good. Service was good.Ambience was beautiful. I will not recommend. If you are looking for authentic good food this is not the place.

A place with great ambience and good service. However the food is a mixed bag. The veg kebabs were great, however the shami kebabs were very dry and tasted like heated out of the freezer vs freshly made. The rice was nice and fluffy but the bathura was more like glorified puri and naan very average. In short , the consistency in quality is missing. Some more attention to taste and this place has great potential especially since it’s at a great location too. If you are visiting Chicago/ trying out Indian food for the first time, it’s a decent place to try. For folks in Chicago, it’s worth a one time visit vs being the ‘go to’ place for authentic Indian food.

Service was prompt and very friendly. Food was top notch. It has good taste and made well. Ambiance is good as well. It is little higher side on pricing however it makes for quality of food. The challenge is that this restaurant is on second floor and no elevator so you need to climb the stairs to get to this place. Overall excellent Indian cuisine.

I visited Navy Pier yesterday and, on the recommendation of someone, decided to stop by this restaurant on my way home. I was very impressed with the top-notch taste of the food. The welcome was warm, and the service was excellent. The desserts were amazing, and the hospitality made me feel as though I was dining in India. As a vegetarian, I ordered the veg thali, and the presentation was fantastic; all the items were arranged on a U-shaped plate. It was a visual treat. One of my friends, who is a goat lover, ordered the Nawabi goat curry and said it was the best he’s ever had. We also tried the lamb biryani and assorted appetizers, and we were thrilled with the generous quantities and delicious flavors. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again and again.
