"Unapologetic Foods, the team behind Adda, Dhamaka, and Semma, have launched Biryani Bol, a new delivery service, where you can get same-day orders of one of the dishes that helped catapult the restaurant group to acclaim. The at-home meal kit requires cooking the biryani for about 45 minutes, according to its website. The restaurant group does not offer delivery at any of its locations except Adda in Long Island City. The Biryani Bol can also be picked up from any location of Unapologetic Foods in Manhattan and Brooklyn." - Emma Orlow

"If a tourist ate at Indian King Biryani House’s cart, they may wrongly assume that all halal carts serving biryani are fantastic enough to write emails home about. But this cart near Trinity Church in FiDi is special. Their rice dishes taste distinctly saffron-forward and full of nutmeg, not to mention they’re topped with tender meat that falls apart with the slightest nudge of a plastic fork. Ask for the chicken biryani with plenty of white and red sauce on top." - hannah albertine

Google
The Biryani is so good and comes with egg too…love the samosa, it’s worth eating after a long day of walking in NY downtown. We got benches around the corner where we could sit and have food.

Google
This is one of my favorite street vendors for Halal chicken over rice, lamb over rice, and samosa. I eat here at least once a week. The prices are $8 for the lunch combo which is great for a quick lunch and it’s easy on the wallet.

Google
small food cart parked in FiDi blending flavors from India and the Middle East into a small variety of rice platters, sandwiches, and savory eats. open from lunchtime to late evening most days--there's typically a small line that moves quickly as lunchtime draws the worker crowd / evenings pull a more tourist crowd. ordered a Chicken Tikka over rice while it will not be what you'd get in a sit-down Indian restaurant…it‘s still good but was more a fusion of flavors in a halal cart style...my order did its job--flavorful, satisfying, and filling. the serving of chicken and rice is ample; there's a tiny salad on the side, and you can top your food with a tangy white sauce as well as hot sauce. service is relatively fast and friendly. and Zuccotti Park is right across the street if you want that al fresco experience without table service!

Google
The guys are not that friendly and the food is ok. There was very little lamb in the lamb biryani I got.

Google
This food truck is so good.. the only bad thing about it is that everyone in the neighborhood knows about them. I wish it was a secret place where you can get great food at low cost, but I have to wait in line like everyone else.. jk this is my favorite spot in fidi.

Google
Got to love a lunch special. Kati roll + kebab + samosa! Got it spicy and it was great.

Google
Love the food. Delicious and at very reasonable rate $8 only. They offer different varieties of Indian veg and non veg food. Samosas were yummy. Highly recommended for Indian food lovers..

Google
One of the best Indian food cart in NYC. It is closest to authentic Indian food i have tried in NYC. A lot of Indian restaurants here but they all sell American version of Indian food. This cart has much better taste and uses a lot of original Indian spices to the food. I tried mattar paneer rice bowl and it was delicious. It was for $6 and quantity was a also sufficient. Owner is a good person and cooks food passionately. Will definitely eat here again

Yelp
Long like in front, good prices but not a huge amount of food. "Veggie Over Rice" very good but too much rice, not enough veggies (cabbage, peas and carrots ) I would've loved to have seen them add other vegetables. I'll definitely try them again but be forewarned, they are HEAVY HANDED with the SAUCE (so be sure to tell them to lighten it up a bit, especially if you add their HOT SAUCE which almost ruined my dish. The White Sauce has a Yogurt, Herbs, ...there was a mint chutney that I asked for but didn't taste. I'm going back to try each of their sauces...nice guys from Bangladesh . Glad they're open 7 days a week - in front of 140 Broadway (just a few blocks north of the famous Bull) right across from a shaded park that has built in polished granite tables for two and benches. I'll be back!

Yelp
* Lamb over pulau rice ($9) * Chicken briyani ($9) I usually see a really long line for this food truck so I'm glad to finally try it. I went around 11:20am and there was already around 4-5 people in line, but it moves pretty fast. I enjoyed both briyani and lamb over rice. It's delicious and affordable. The portion is slightly smaller than usual food truck portions but for $9 in FiDi, it is already super value for money.

Judy F.

Yelp
First time customer. I ordered 1 samosa for $1. It was delicious, even though I didn't eat the crimped greasy edges. I ordered the Hyderabad biryani rice with chicken topped with white and green sauces. The rice and chunks of chicken did not appear fresh. A few chunks of chicken seemed fresher, but most of the chunks had dried exteriors. About the rice, some grains were separated and some were clumped together. All in all, it was a tad spicy for me. It made my nose run and put my mouth on fire. I won't be ordering seconds of this dish. Perhaps I'll try the other dishes or appetizers.

Theresa L.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick bite and wasn't too disappointed. The chicken biryani planner was filling, flavorful, and affordable. I think it definitely wasn't as memorable as other biryanis I've had but really can't complain much for $9 a plate. The chicken was also very tender and shredded easily! I want to try the chicken tikka masala over rice as well. It was nice that could sit next to the building the truck was parked outside of, and I'm sure if we walked around more, we could find actual seating and tables in the area.

Yelp
Can't argue with the value proposition in that you can get a huge plate of chicken & lamb & rice with a soda for $10. But it's not as a good as restaurant food equivalents, which makes sense given the pricing. Still though, fine for an office lunch. Chili Chicken & Lamb over Rice: I definitely appreciate the Indo-Chinese offering. The chicken tikka tossed in a bunch of spicy chili sauce along with the sautéed onions and peppers were very nice. The lamb was disappointing though, since it was just chunks of that ground lamb gyro stuff everyone serves up. Paneer Kati Rolls: Well, it's not The Kati Roll Company. The greasy roti is nice, but the filling is just a scoop of matar paneer and some random wilted lettuce. Drier fillings, like paneer tikka, would have been a better choice.

Yelp
Came by here to check this place out as they usually have a line of people. They work fast so you will get your food in a fast and timely manner. Chicken Biryani cost $8. The food itself was good. It had a good balance of savoriness and spice. I didn't ask for any spice and added white sauce and mango chutney to it for extra flavor. There were some jalapenos which I thought were very unique. I felt like there could have been a bit more pieces of the rice and chicken as you can tell from the picture almost half of the container is covered with veggies. Overall, still solid place and I can see why there is line out here, especially during lunch afternoon hours.

Alicia C.

Yelp
Came for a quick bite after an office gathering and saw this cart and thought it was perfect. It was the only cart that had a line and I thought this maybe the good one. I had the lamb gyro. It was good. Meat was a bit soft but overall taste was ok.

Sachin N.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try the Indian king biryani house food truck since this food truck would have a huge line every time (pre-pandemic) during lunch hours. The menu is very well displayed and huge given the size and the fact this is a food truck and not a restaurant (well, it's a restaurant on wheels anyway). With all this said, let's talk about the food itself. I've never had such great tasting food from a food truck before. The food was flavorful and wasn't too spicy but had enough spice to entice your tastebuds. The quantity was humongous. We had taken a couple of chicken keema rice and let me tell you, the chicken and rice was amazing. The rice was very well cooked and the chicken too was tender and juicy. There's soda available as well. The prices were good given the quantity of the food at display. This food truck accepts all the major credit cards available on the market (I didn't know this so I had taken cash with me) so that was something new that I got to know. Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a good flavorful Indian meal.

Dave F.

Yelp
Today I had the curry chicken instead of the usual mix chili over rice. It was good but not as good as that chili flavor. They did not have the Bihari curry. Oh well. Guys are fast and nice as usual. Still my favorite cart.

Jimmy H.

Yelp
They're open again, but ensure you're visiting the right cart. It isn't as spicy as before but still delicious!

Brian F.

Yelp
The prices here are definitely right. You can get a huge portion for around $7 give or take. The owners are extremely friendly and always smiling. You get the sense that they enjoy working that truck for hours and hours a day. The last positive I will share is that the flavors were strong and wonderful! I had the Chicken Tikka over rice and I was not disappointed. There was a healthy amount of chicken and I could've used more rice and maybe less lettuce. Here's the reason it slips down to 3 versus 4 stars... it looks disgusting in the styrofoam container. After they pile up all the ingredients, including the rice, lettuce, protein, tomato, and onion... and then they add hot sauce and white sauce, the dish becomes a sloppy mess. Now I'm a reasonable person... it's a food truck, and it's to-go (or take-away for our international readers), and presentation is never the goal in a situation like this. However, I would argue that sauces could be shared in separate containers, and perhaps instead of piling everything on top of each other, the lettuce, onion, and tomato can be placed in one partition of the container, while the rice and protein exist on the other. Is this nit-picky? Perhaps. Was I grossed out and a little embarrassed when others at work saw the sloppy pile of goods I was eating with delight... a little bit. Remember, I did say that it tasted good... it's just hard to endorse it a solid 4, knowing that one day you're going to look at it and say, "really"?

Yelp
Normally you would never catch me eating from a food cart of the streets but NY is an exception. Holy shit this place was really good. The line was long too but the owner and his workers are really efficient and get the line moving fast. We only waited about 10 minutes. We were in the area and I was going to eat at another spot but this place popped up and with all the good ratings I couldn't pass it up. The Kati rolls by far were my favorite they were probably better than the kati roll company place I had in midtown. Oh and they give you 2 for $6.00. If I lived in NY I probably would eat this every day. My husband got the chicken biryani and I ordered the chicken tikka plate. A lot of food. Too much food yes...did I eat it all...No :( I was able to eat one kati roll no problem but the chicken tikka plate was a lot for me. My husband enjoyed his biryani which I forgot to take a pic. It had a hard boiled egg in it. Anyways the rice for the chicken tikka was really good it was nice and thin and very flavorful I even put some of the rice in my kati roll. It tasted so good. The chicken tikka was okay the chicken pieces were a little big for me, I like mine a little smaller but that's just my preference. I liked the salad that accompanied it as well as the yogurt white sauce they put on it. All in all bomb ass food. The owner was very friendly and the food was fantastic. A total must to try. There is a park right across the street that you can sit down and enjoy your food at.

Yelp
Arrived at 930am for breakfast. Lol I ordered the Kati roll. Lamb Kati roll!!! Best damn roll ever. It's like a wrap but with lamb. And the amazing white sauce. Coming from California, this halal food is awesome. I always eat breakfast and most places weren't opened. This food cart stuck out though because there was a line (at 930a) when the other carts nearby didn't have a line. The lamb was juicy. The sauces made it even better. I opted for no spicy sauce though. Just the white sauce. So glad they were able to make me a Kati roll in the morning. Very delicious. $6 too. What a deal. Woot woot! Ps. When they're cooking, don't stand too close to the cart or else you'll end up smelling like the food lol

Nishant M.

Yelp
DO VISIT THIS PLACE WHEN IN NYC!! This is the place you should not miss when visiting NYC. It's in the heart of the city and favorite linch spot for many people working in that area. There is a lot of open sitting space nearby. The kati rolls are to die for and chicken biryani is delicious. There are a lot of vegetarian options in the menu. White sauce is amazing. Chicken is tender and the rice has a very good aroma. The food is cheaper compared to what you get in California for the same price. It also tastes better. The food cart is near to the subway station. I am going to visit this place every time I am in NYC.

Dewan A.

Yelp
Amazing Indian food. I got their chicken tikka masala. This is the NY-style of Indian chicken tikka masala, but very delicious as the original. I also love their fact they accept credit cards.

Erika M.

Yelp
A coworker of mine spoke so highly of this food truck that I had to go check it out. I'm not big on food trucks because the food is usually sub par and loaded with oil and grease. To my surprise the Chicken Tikka Masala with rice was absolutely perfect. Not only did it take all of 5 minutes to hand me my food but the portion was perfect along with the flavor. The chicken wasn't too saucy or greasy, the rice was steamed to perfection and the salad gave the dish a nice balance of freshness to go along with the mild spice of the dish. I'll probably opt for more white sauce next time. 10/10

Yelp
Long lines during weekday lunch times and good word of mouth via Yelp make Indian King Biryani House one of the most popular carts in the downtown FiDi area. But the question is, is the praise warranted? In my opinion, yes and no. First, the good. The menu at this cart is huge and in all of my years of eating from food carts, I don't recall ever seeing a menu with so many items listed. They have multiple sections to their menu falling into either Veggie Halal, for the non-meat eaters, or Special Indian, which is for the carnivores. There's your usual lamb over rice and chicken over rice and chicken/lamb biryani dishes, but where this cart really differentiates itself are the other mouth-watering items listed, such as, saag paneer with naan/rice, tikka masala or the multiple curry dishes. I didn't get to try them, but rest assured I will definitely be back for them. Since it was my very 1st time at Indian King, I went with the traditional Chicken Biryani. Can't lose with that one right? Unfortunately, I didn't find it as satisfying as I thought I would. I've had biryani numerous times from the other biryani cart nearby, Biryani House Cart, and I definitely would prefer the biryani from there. All of the right ingredients were in this biryani dish, including the half tea egg. However, what disappointed me was the rice. The rice was dry and over-cooked. It surprised me that something so simple could be overlooked, but the dryness of the rice really took away from the rest of the dish since there was so much rice. The rice is really the cornerstone of chicken and rice or biryani and when the rice is not where it needs to be, it's obvious. In addition, the chicken was in very large chunks and not cut up into smaller pieces. I typically prefer smaller pieces of protein because with larger pieces I tend to eat it within a bite so there tends to be less protein as I get closer and closer to finishing. I won't fully judge the cart just on 1 dish, but not fully coming through on one of their signature and more popular dishes is a bad start. We'll see how it fares for round 2.

Divya D.

Yelp
A bang for your buck. I could only try chicken biryani and it is so yum. I tried the biryani with their hot sauce and white sauce. This added so much flavor into the rice and chicken. A must try if you are in the neighborhood. P.S: I have never had such a tasty biryani even in one of the best restaurants in the City.

Jessy I.

Yelp
We were in need of a snack and a kati roll seemed like a delicious option! We ordered one lamb kati roll to share. It came with 3 different sauces, delicious lamb, and a flaky paratha type wrap to hold it all in. This was spicy in the perfect way and amount! I am being completely genuine when I say this was one of my favorite foods of our NY trip! If you happen to be near this truck...give the kati rolls a try!

Danno L.

Yelp
Oooof. It's a wonder to me how a place like this can even exist!! The food is great quality, the portions are huge, and it's so CHEAP! My go to at any halal cart is chicken over rice. What I love about their chicken is they add spices to the meat beforehand- really gives it an extra kick and means you don't really need any red sauce when you order. They also give you more than just dry lettuce as your salad. I usually end up getting some cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, and occasionally corn. And again- the portions are RIDICULOUS. Only down side is that it can be a bit of a wait (if you get this popular, it can be hard to keep a short line). Worth it IMO, because there's no other halal cart in the area that matches this place in terms of food.

Johnny F.

Yelp
THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST DEAL IN ALL OF NEW YORK! Combo (Lamb & Chicken over Rice): $7. Perfect portion, delicious quality meat, and comes with a lot. If you like spice, make sure you ask for ALL the sauces. REALLY GOOD! And for the price? Seriously unbeatable. Veggie Samosa: $1 each is just right. A perfect portion, delicious spices within, and tasty veggies inside. The crisp is nice and light too! Tip: Try to go before or after lunch rush because this is a very popular spot in the heart of the Financial District.

George B.

Yelp
I would say this is definitely a 5 star joint if only the quantity of protein is more . For $6 bucks you get a pretty delicious platter of food . The rice is super flavorful, and as is the meat . But you don't get the same amount of meat compared to the other $6 & $7 food carts around town . Because of that I'm deducting a star .

Yulu H.

Yelp
Wow this halal truck is really good! I got chicken biryani ($6 including water or soda) with all sauces and it was absolutely yummy! There was always a line so I decided to give a shot. So glad I went. Next time wanna try the roll and lamb biryani.

Dan L.

Yelp
Really solid biryani for a lunch price that can't be beat. Rice is fluffy, chicken is tender, and as much spice as you can handle.

Kent C.

Yelp
Came here to grab lunch. I feel like this cart typically does not really ever have too long of a line. Had my colleague place the order, and not sure if it's because he ordered in the native tongue that yielded soda or if the soda actually is included, but that was a great added bonus. Had the lamb pilau rice. Never had pilau rice before and my colleague might have hyped it up too much, or I didn't get enough sauce on my food. I found it to be okay... but definitely not as flavorful as he made it out to be. Lamb was lightly cooked, and had that sort of spongey consistency as does all other gyro-type meats that are not seared. This was ok but I think there's definitely better options.

Billy Y.

Yelp
Stopped by this cart after checking the World Trade Center. Located in the same vicinity as the gigantic red cube structure. We wanted to get the shish kabob kathi roll but they were out of it so we went with the chicken. We only got the chicken kathi roll but it was the best damn kathi roll I've eaten thus far. They got chicken tikka wrapped inside some homemade sweet tasting paratha and they were slathered with a green, red, and white sauce - mmnnnn so good! It was only 6 bucks and comes with two and they looked like good sized burritos - definitely enough to fill up one person. Updated: Since the kathi roll was so good, we decided to come all the way back to this stand to get some more the very next day. We wanted to get the shish kabob kathi roll this time but they were out of shish kabob yet again. Guess it's so popular it sells out quick. So we got the chicken kathi roll again and along with it the chili chicken & lamb over rice. The kathi roll was just as good as the day before. The chili chicken and lamb - best chili chicken dish I've ever had period. 8 bucks for the dish and it beats the crap out of all the chili chicken dishes sold in restaurants down in NC where I'm from. Street carts here in NYC are just on a whole another level - everything is so good especially this particular Indian King cart. Another selling point is this cart accepts credit card unlike most carts where they only take cash. So if you don't have cash on hard worry not people, they got you covered. Folks, you definitely need to come to this cart if you're ever in NYC. You won't be disappointed!

Jenny G.

Yelp
Snack time! Oh my the vender guy looked like he's angry at the world. Tried their lamb Kati Rolls with white sauce. $6 for two. Flavorful and juicy but too much white sauce for my liking. White sauce taste a bit too sweet. Lamb meat was too salty. Biryani House definitely better. Will not return back.

Celeste B.

Yelp
I stopped at this food truck while in Manhattan for the day. I picked it because compared to the other surrounding food trucks the line was ridiculously long! Most of the other food trucks also sold Indian food but this was THE only one that actually had a line of customers. The line moved swiftly but never died down. There was a guy in the food truck next door that just glared at everyone on the line because he had no buying his food. The smell alone coming from this truck was very attractive. I had wanted to try the fish meal but changed my mind once the cook told me that they used Tilapia Fish-Eck! No thank you. So I chose the chicken gyro with white sauce instead while my friend chose the vegetable biryani. The food was delicious. My chicken was a little spicy but flavorful and very tender. The taste was not better then the food that I have had from the Rafiqi or Halal Guys food trucks but l'd return.

Nataly N.

Yelp
This food truck had a really long line, which made it seem like the food would be fantasticulous. However, I was really not impressed with the Lamb Palau and the Lamb Biryani. While they were edible, they were only barely so. The biryani did not taste like biryani. It was missing a lot of flavor, and the lamb was really dry and tough. This was also the case with the lamb palau. If they had called both of these dishes "Fake Lamb over Rice," perhaps the food would have tasted better, untainted by the taste of disappointment. The menu consists of a variety of Kati Rolls, Biryani, rice platters, and Indian Halal food items, with prices ranging from $2 hot dogs to $6-7 platters. There are also plenty of options for vegetarians. However, despite the affordable prices, I'm not even sure the quality is worth the cost, given how the biryani and palau platters turned out.

Yuri D.

Yelp
Super tasty Indian cart. Got the Kati rolls at 8pm ok a friday. No Biryani left. Super tasty though with yummy roti and chicken tikka

Bhavnit K.

Yelp
Omg!! This is the best food cart ever. Firstly the menu looks so delicious that it will make you order everything. The taste of Indian flavors is simply amazing. I ordered one chicken Kathi Roll with a Indian Masala Chai and it made my evening. It costs me 7$ only. The chicken roll is very very tasty. It has very good tasting chicken with vegetables. The bread/roll tastes soft and delicious. Next time I will try the menu items one by one :D Its near to metro station. The owners are Indian, very polite and serves the very tasty food. It is cheap and gives you lots of food to eat. On weekdays it has very long queue and it must be satisfying to all.

Alicia B.

Yelp
3 words: Chicken Kati Roll - try it. SO GOOOOOD ($6 for 2!) The wrap is perfectly flakey. The chicken is well seasoned and so tasty!

Simone W.

Yelp
The guys call me "falafel pita" because I eat here so often lol. The falafel pita is only $5 and is filling and flavorful. I always get all three sauces and jalapeños added to my pita. When I do switch it up, I get falafel over rice. Comes with a small side salad. Today I tried veggie rice and did not enjoy it as much as the regular rice but filling and flavorful all the same. I've put two co-workers on to this cart and they frequent it as well. Sorry, can't speak for the meat options!

Narayan U.

Yelp
They didn't had lamb Biryani, they only had chicken. The chicken wasn't tasty as you would assume. After waiting in line for 15 minutes then I wasn't not happy with the Biryani. However, the chicken Tikka was the best!

Chylene K.

Yelp
The chicken & rice plate was amazing! The chicken was perfectly seasoned/grilled & literally melt in my mouth delicious. It was such a huge order that my god daughter & I split it. Killer deal for just $6! The vegetable samosas we ordered were good, but not outstanding. Thankfully the green sauces & the red spicy sauce saved the day. :)

Henry T.

Yelp
Pretty decent Indian food for the price I paid. For $5, I got chicken with basmati rice and a small "salad". The rice was flavorful and aromatic and the chicken was seasoned nicely with Indian spices. The hot sauce, however, was not spicy at all. Everything was still delicious nonetheless for the price I paid and the portion size I received.

Meischa Z.

Yelp
I fail to understand all the hype with the reviews. The chicken biryani tastes nothing like authentic chicken biryani. It's a few pieces of chicken served on top of rice with sauces all over it. That's not authentic. For those posting reviews you can surely states it's a chicken over rice dish but if you're in the hopes of eating authentic biryani this is not your spot for that!

Mohamed H.

Yelp
Best bang for your money. I tried the chicken biryani, got the authentic Indian Biryani flavor. Absolutely loved it.

Phani K.

Yelp
Excellent Veggie Kathi Role from this Wendy's award winning food truck on Broadway. Love it!!

Erica G.

Yelp
This is a very good halal cart. Among the halal carts in this section, it's my second favorite. My first one is the Biryani House cart that is by itself right at Cedar st with the Vendy Awards winner newspaper cut. Now about this cart: the second best in my opinion in this row of street food carts. They usually have long lines at breakfast, lunch and even at night. Their prices are affordable and sometimes cheaper than other carts. For $5 or less you get a sandwich and coffee/tea. In FIDI, that's a steal! Their breakfast is amazing, they always make your order right...delicious considering is a food cart and good prices. Also among all the carts in this sections, they are the ones that offer more food options with a big menu of items. Not only you get the usual staple that a halal cart has but they offer Chinese Indian food options, non meat options such as paneer saag, shrimp, fish kati rolls, etc . All usually around $6 On average and all options are below $10.They are also friendly and offer fast service. With the great taste and an array of food options that goes beyond the main staples and that expands from morning to late nights ....I highly recommend this cart. It's my non-meat option cart as they have several non meat items and my second best for meaty options that I go to if they are not busy and my favorite halal cart Biryani House has a long line. One of my favorite things about this cart and where they rate higher in my opinion even above Biryani House is like I said before their many options especially for Kati rolls. Love Kati rolls and they make them delicious! They have shrimp, fish veggie, paneer, and many other Kati rolls. In this, they are the big winners! As an example, their shrimp Kati rolls are juicy and amazing! Very flavorful...and they are not skimpy and you actually get a shrimp with every bite. Good amount of shrimp, meat , etc. Highly recommend!! Rate them 4 because like I said before...it's the second best in this block after Biryani House.

Yelp
Indian King Biryani House you are truly remarkable, I had a spectacular experience here yesterday. Friendly service, welcoming atmosphere. The menu is really awesome, many good choices, I had to go with Egg Fried Rice with Chicken or Shrimp, and it was fantastic. Bonus that their service is so awesome, they are so fast and welcoming. I really enjoyed it.

Yelp
This cart is located on the corner of Liberty and Broadway. Kati rolls were great and well marinated - chicken was better than the lamb but you can't go wrong with either one. The guy behind the counter was also very nice! Get there early as the line can get long

Yelp
My favorite Indian food in NYC! My go-to lunch spot in FiDi. Love the Chicken Over Yellow Rice & the Chicken Kati Rolls are delicious. I'm sure other items are good too but I can't get over how good these first two dishes are. Long line but there's a reason for it! Well worth it.

Yelp
Pros: Food and service Cons: Wait time (12-2PM) This isn't your typical halal cart since it carries quite a few dishes. You can get your normal chicken/lamb over rice, but where's the fun in that with this cart. I tried all the chicken platters this cart had to offer and my top favorite is the Chicken Tikka Masala. It's packed with flavor from the first bite to the last. The rice is colored and flavored with spice, and the chicken tikka is juicy and chunky pieces of breast (none of the chopped up dried chicken business). Just beware this cart gets busy during your normal lunch time (12PM~2PM). So if you plan on coming then, just be prepared to wait ~15+ minutes and become extra hungry. It's just that good, which is why there's a line here and for $6 w/drink, it can't get better or can it...

Yelp
I got a lamb Kati roll, which is actually two rolls, for $6. I've never had anything quite like it. The wrap isn't a pita, and it isn't a tortilla. It reminds me of a Taco Bell Chalupa, thin and soft, but crunchy on the outside. It was filled with lamb chunks and tasty vegetables, then topped with an amazing mix of the three sauces: the white, the red, and the green. The spice level was maybe just a little less than Frank's Red Hot - enough to give your lips just a little bit of an after-burn. There are two Indian carts on this block, so make sure you're at the right one, it's hard to tell them apart.

Yelp
Decent food for its price. The curry is not the traditional Indian curry though. Food is also oil in general.

Yelp
Chili chicken - super spicy and tasty! Also their Kati roll had really good chewy and crispy wrap texture. Would order both again. Heard the chicken biryani was good so will try that next time!
