Everything was delicious! Their drinks are pretty tasty as well. Outdoor seating was perfect on this summer day with plenty of shade. Look out to yachts and some water views. Staff was friendly and attentive. House made fresh corn and flour tortillas.

I ordered the birria tacos along with chips, guacamole, and their salsas everything was absolutely delicious! The tacos were packed with flavor and super tender, and the guacamole and salsas tasted so fresh. You can really tell they put care into their food. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The view and service at Indita Mia were honestly the best part of the experience, both were excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the setting had a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the hype or the price. Dishes were just okay, nothing memorable, and definitely not worth what they charge. For the price point, I expected a lot more in terms of flavor and presentation. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re going for the ambiance, but if you’re looking for great food, you’ll find better elsewhere for less.

I recently had dinner here with my friend and I have to say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere. Our server, Andrea was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations, ensuring we had the best possible dining experience. Due to wonderful service and delicious food I will be going back 😊

This place had great service and amazing food. We had some of the best ceviche we’ve ever had. We’re definitely going back. It was an amazing time. The food is authentic, and the homemade tortillas are a must-try. Don’t forget to get yourself a cocktail while you’re there. The mezcal old-fashioned is a must-try. Five stars!

We made a reservation for my birthday earlier this month and left a bit disappointed. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and she even asked whose birthday we were celebrating as small talk to our table. She was great! Our server, however, forgot to put our appetizer in so it didn't come out until after our entrees arrived. It had our small two top over crowded and he offered no apology and just left us there to play table tetris so everything could fit. We had waited for quite awhile for him to circle back because we wanted refills on drinks (we ended up not getting them because he didn't check back up on us until we were almost done with dinner) and after realizing two other tables got a cute birthday song with fun music that the restaurant turned up. I was skipped. We were recommended this place by my husband's boss, but I'm not sure if this is a place I'd go back to just by how we were treated. Our server was an older gentleman with glasses, I'm disappointed I don't remember his name. Id skip his section if you want good service. The food was hit or miss. My husband's carne asada was delicious and cooked correctly. My chancla's barbacoa was slightly salty, but nothing the salsa/cocktails couldn't fix. Here's a picture of dinner while we waited for our app.

Google
Oh, wow. They aren't joking around when they say it's Wagyu beef! The tortillas for the tacos are made in-house. Now I'm not one who likes corn tortillas, but man, these were phenomenal! And then add the Wagyu beef and...you get the picture. The refried beans were so flavorful and not dry like you find at most restaurants. Great ambience, the view (right by the marina) of Mt. Rainier and the Tacoma Dome and the East 21st Street Bridge is excellent. There's also outside seating for those beautiful summer days or cooler evenings with tabletop heating. This is an absolute must try! You won't regret it.

Google
I'm excited to share that I've found the first restaurant that truly deserves 5 stars! Inditia Mia offers not just breakfast, but an authentic Mexican food experience that blew me away. From the vibrant flavors to the attention to detail, every bite is a tribute to traditional cuisine. Plus, it's located in a prime area, right next to the Tacoma Museum of Glass. Hands down, it's the best breakfast in Washington. If you're looking for a place that captures the essence of Mexican food, look no further! 🥑🌮☕

Yelp
Awesome spot! Nice ambiance and tasty food. The drinks are very well balanced. I've tried the Oaxaca old fashion and the Margherita so far.

Yelp
Service was slow. Drinks were different this time. They never have the Nutella cake why even have it on the menu.

Yelp
Ambiance is 10/10. A very well put together restaurant and decor located right on the water. Worth going if you're in Tacoma. And very quiet. The drinks are phenomenal and the staff is professional and friendly. The food was surprisingly very clean and good. It's hard to find great Mexican food in the Seattle area but the steak and shrimp tacos were awesome. Highly recommend and will return.

Yelp
Location is near Tacoma Museum of Glass by the waterway where boats are docked and ambience of the restaurant is nice modern style. Food portions was ok but the food and service were pretty fast and good. Ended up getting these 2 items listed below. (Flautas) Corn tortillas stuffed with mildly seasoned halal chicken, rolled, and fried to perfection. Garnished with fresh lettuce, green onions, queso fresco, and generously smothered with our signature tangy sauce. (Tacos de Barbacoa) 3 Shredded wagyu beef tacos served with broth on the side, filled with barbacoa and cheese

Yelp
Friendly and prompt service. The ambiance is very nice. The horchata was good and you can tell it was homemade. We got the pork belly tacos, elote and green enchiladas and both were ok. Elote was cooked in boiling water because it was watery for some reason.

Yelp
I have mixed reviews about this place. I would give it 3.5 stars. When we first checked in we asked to sit outside and were told there was no more outdoor seats available even tho there was tables out there that were empty. But no worries I thought maybe they just seat people at certain tables and not those. Maybe about 5-10 minutes after being seated, people were sat at the empty table that was out there. I thought this was strange and did not make sense why it was not offered to us. We ordered horchata which was delicious but unfortunately there was a bug crawling in mine. The ceviche was good. Just a little bit too much mayo on the tostada but otherwise very good. The guacamole was very good. And the beans it came with was also delicious. I do wonder if they give you more tostadas if you ask. It only came with four. The wagyu barbacoa burritos were delicious. The wagyu tamale was good but the top of it was burnt or something because it was so hard my fork wouldn't even go through it. Other than that it was very good. The masa was not dry at all and there was plenty of meat. Overall I think I would try this place again. The food and drinks tasted good. I will say it just doesn't seem very welcoming. Our waiter also seemed distracted.

Yelp
Had dinner here on the night of the Tacoma boat parade during the holidays...perfect spot with great views. After reading reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect - they seemed pretty mixed. Here is my take. Service is great - staff is friendly and responsive. Our server was Samuel and he was on point. Food is delicious, as were the margaritas with fresh squeezed juice. We had the Sopes as a starter that were not only beautiful, but really good. The order comes with 4 of them, so we did two chicken and two beef. They were equally tasty and the sauces that come on the side are a great accompaniment. We then went on to the chicken enchiladas with green tomatillo sauce. Loved those as well. They make tortillas fresh in house, which makes a huge difference in quality. We finished the meal with tres leches. I am a huge fan of this dessert, and I loved it. Very moist and flavorful. I knocked off a star for the vibe, which was confusing ... is it an eccentric Mexi-techno club with food or traditional Mexican cantina with upscale accents? Also, being holidays and the Christmas boat parade, I was disappointed they went from playing holiday music when we got there to clubbing music.

Yelp
Amazing food, Great Service, food & drinks came out very quick. If your are around the surrounding area of the Tacoma convention center this place is great

Yelp
We were at MOG, and wanted lunch. We saw this place and decided to give it a try. Hey it's Mexican food what could go wrong right. First off it's very nice inside. The service was good and helped everyone. But here is where it stops. The menu selections were limited. I would expect a variety of chicken, pork, beef and seafood. But not here. Very little chicken options (actually 1) and pork was just a taco (and not that good). Way too much fat not rendered or crisp. Also flavorless on both dishes. The beef dish we had was fatty and not tender and hard to chew. The enchiladas not a good choice as they were cold or lukewarm at best. This restaurant seems like it wants to be upscale and fufu being by the water but it's not in my opinion as the food is underwhelming and overpriced. Me thinks they are trying to be something they are not at this time. Still looking for that magical Mexican Restaurant.

Yelp
Indita Mia is an absolute gem in Tacoma. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful and unique decor--especially the centerpiece bar with its tree-like structure and woven basket lights that give the space a warm, inviting glow. The food was outstanding across the board. We started with fresh guacamole and crispy tostadas that set the tone for the rest of the meal. Every dish that followed was just as impressive. The Vampiritos were packed with flavor, the tacos were perfectly crafted with fresh tortillas and tender, juicy meats, and the quesabirria tacos with consommé were rich and satisfying. Each bite was layered with authentic Mexican flavor and just the right touch of creativity. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. Everything came out fresh, fast, and beautifully plated. You can tell this place takes pride in both its food and its experience. Indita Mia is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Five stars without hesitation.

Yelp
Reservation was easy to make. Parking is easy. View and location is amazing. Half of our party got there early and got seated. We asked to be moved to the bar which was empty. I don't think the waiter was happy about that, he seemed annoyed the entire time. I asked for the Tulum drink and they were out of it, but well after I saw a coconut being served to another table, i was very confused. The Carna asada plates were delicious, but I do wish that they came with rice. Tacos gobernados had undercooked bell peppers but overcooked shrimp. The tortilla was good though. The guacamole was yummy. La diabla drink was refreshing and delicious. All the drinks at the table were good. Our total came to $245 for two Carne Asada, shrimp(governador) tacos, ribeye burrito, guacamole, 2 flans and five drinks(one of them being a double). Overall probably would not go back.

Yelp
The food was decent, but it was overpriced for its quality. This didn't seem like an authentic Mexican restaurant. They tried to take a modern spin, but it wasn't very well executed. I received my food luke warm & my drink was subpar. $17 for an espresso martini is insane! Also, my steak was so embarrassingly thin that the waitress brought me another slice to make up for it. So, the service was pretty solid in that regard. Don't go with high expectations.

Yelp
Check out their happy hour and consider timing your visit on a third Thursday when the Tacoma Museum of Glass is free to enter from 5-8pm! I had the birria tacos (4/5 stars), a crunchy appetizer (4/5 stars), and the most impressive part was definitely the strawberry coconut cocktail that I had (5/5 stars, I was extremely impressed).

Yelp
I just received my order and there was a hair stuck to the flan when I opened the box :(

Yelp
This definitely is a hidden gem (hidden enough for me to struggle finding it, but worth it!! Here's what we tried: 1. Indita omelette: described as an "Organic eggs omelette filled with chilaquiles, onions, cilantro, queso fresco, over a black bean sauce and drizzled with sour cream." and HOLY WOW this was so amazing. I would come back just for this!! Pro tip: we asked them to sub the chilaquiles salsa inside with salsa verde instead and this was and incredible combo with the salsa rojo on outside!!! You have to come here just for this dish frfr! 2. Steak and eggs: this was just it days, a piece of thin steak and a side of eggs (refer to pic!). I love that the eggs are organic, and this dish was yummy, but next time I would get something more flavorful/saucy. However, the REFRIED BEANS WERE TO DIE FOR!!!! Wow, they had a spicy flavor to them and were the perfect refried bean texture. I would honestly order a whole plate of just those. 3. Cafe de olla: I'm not a coffee drinker but my friend ordered this and wow!!! I loved it. I could taste cinnamon and other spices in it, it didn't feel artificial, wasn't too bitter or too sweet, and felt light. If you haven't tried this style of coffee, this is your chance! And what a great price too ($3.50, a steal)! 4. Concha (with Nutella and strawberry): YUM! Our table shared and order of this for dessert. The dough on the concha was not dry (I feel like that's usually the downside of many concha's), and the pairing with Nutella and strawberries was so good!! Our waitress said to eat it like a sandwich, so delish! Other notes: The staff was so kind! They spoke Spanish and English, were very efficient but didn't rush us, and were able to give great recommendations! The ambiance of the place was such a vibe. It was like the kind of place that you can dress casual or nice and you'll fit in and feel comfortable. Also, the playlist was such a bop!! It was like chill lofi mixes meets club songs, and fit the vibes so well. I would definitely recommend this place and come again!
google avatar

Don M.

Yelp
Went for the tacos and was NOT disappointed. So many other things on the menu, but I stuck with my reason for going. Had a side of beans and these were delish. Ordered an old fashioned made with tequila. Not a tequila drinker. This was decent tasting and would get it again.

Yelp
We for there as soon as the restaurant opened so there was no wait and we were greeted immediately. The restaurant is decorate so beautifully and it's right on the water with beautiful views. I ordered the mango flavored cocktail, guacamole, and barbacoa tacos. All were very good. The guacamole came with refried beans and tortilla chips. I think the refried beans were the best I have ever had! I thought the appetizer could have been served with more tortilla chips. The barbacoa tacos are their take on birria tacos and they were good as well. I would definitely recommend.

Yelp
What a kind, friendly, and observant hostess! We stopped in for a quick bite for my toddler, who usually doesn't finish his meals. The hostess kindly offered options from the kids' menu quesadillas or a burrito even though they weren't listed on the main menu. It turned out to be the perfect portion for my little one. I tried a bite myself and was impressed with the quality of the meat. We'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
What a wonderful find near the glass museum. We enjoyed our brunch very much and will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
The service here is great! The ambiance is nice and has views of the port. It's a cute little spot for a date night. Drinks were super yummy. My husband had the barbacoa tacos and loved them! I had the enchiladas verdes and it was just okay.
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly, probably the best Mexican food I've had in WA. Being a Colorado native, it is always difficult to have authentic Mexican food. All I can say is just go....especially if you are tired of sad combo plates, you will not be disappointed in the incredible food and quality at Indita Mia. HUGE shoutout to Cisi (sp....) she was so helpful and recommended Grandma's quesadilla (that is nothing like the American-ized) versions that are oh, so common here in the PNW) and it was amazing. Still looking for that New Mexico or Colorado green chile but this will be our new go-to for authentic Mexican cuisine. 5 stars all the way around. Great *real* margaritas too. See you soon!

Yelp
A Tacoma gem! Indita Mia combines all of the best components of a restaurant: great service, atmosphere, and fantastic food. I have been on multiple occasions and have had a great experience each time. I love the flautas and tacos de Balbacoa. They have also been super accommodating to certain requests. They also have amazing drinks, including unique and delicious cocktails and mocktails. I can't wait for their new location to open!

A J.

Yelp
Don't waste your money. Bad food, bad drinks, bad service!! Food 5/10 looks good, they have the intention but not the flavor. Drinks 2/10 coffee test like water with sugar, alcoholic drinks only tested like juice. I was so excited to try this place at their new location, but it was so disappointed like 1st time at their old location.
google avatar

Lindsey D.

Yelp
Great food and loved the ambiance and location looking at the water. Would definitely go back!
google avatar

Kristen C.

Yelp
Hidden gem! We've been here for lunch so many times. So far no one has ever had a bad meal. Great for families and work functions. Food is authentic and scrumptious!! I can't pick a favorite, everything is incredible. Although I do recommend Grandma's Quesadilla - which is anything but a typical quesadilla! The service is stellar. Food comes out fast and hot and always correct. The restaurant is clean and so are the bathrooms. You will not be sorry you at here!
google avatar

Yelp
I've had a lot of bad Mexican food in the Tacoma area, but seeing the reviews made me pretty excited to try this place. We went around 5:30 on a Saturday and there was zero wait time. The restaurant itself is pretty cute; they play their music quite loud (this didn't bother us, but I know it bothers some people). We ordered the chips & guacamole, tacos de chicharrón, and enchilas indita. The chips & guacamole come with refried beans & homemade tostadas. The guacamole is to die for! It's very fresh and one of my favorite guacamoles I've ever had. The tacos de chicharrón were delicious! The pork belly has a crunch to it and they put these amazing pickled onions on the tacos that really bring it together. Lastly, the enchilas indita. My husband loved these! They come in this creamy chipotle sauce and he mentioned that he loved the homemade tortillas. We ordered two horchatas which is our absolute favorite and they were made extremely well. We also got a tres leches slice to go; it was so light yet decadent! The portions are extremely generous & we felt it was worth the price. We paid around $76 before tip for all of the food mentioned above. We will definitely be back here soon!
google avatar

Jenifer V.

Yelp
My boyfriend made a reservation for us here last night and the food was yummy! Service was great as well. I got the guava margarita and it was really good. Portions aren't too big to where you'll have too much left over, but it was super flavorful. After having the sopes de chicharrón me and my boyfriend regretted not getting the chicharrón tacos All in all a cute little spot for a date night. The views are great too!
google avatar

Michael A.

Yelp
Food: unquestionably the best tacos I have ever eaten. Slow cooked mouthwatering shredded beef inside two corn tortilla and cheese served with a delicious dipping sauce that was so good I asked for a to-go cup to take the remainder of the sauce home and put it on huevos rancheros tomorrow morning. My partner was equally impressed with the Wagu tamales. Service: a bit hard to say. It was great, but we were also the first ones there for dinner. My waiter was great. Good sense of humor. Ambiance: good. Pleasant music and I noticed they had a table ready to go to serve a large (14-16) group.

Yelp
I wasn't fazed by the hype of this place at all. AT ALL. First off this NEW location is hidden and for me--boring. I don't like it too loud but I thoroughly enjoy the semi-crowded, 'hustle and bustle' vibe with great food 'in coming'. Their previous location (I'll never know now) was on the downtown streets of Tacoma. Which leads me to my next frustration... They changed locations which made for hard finding for me. Now, I admit. I'm an idiot wit directions especially if there's previous visuals in my head. I had this place saved in my Yelp fav's to try and by accident coming from somewhere else one day, I saw the FORMER which I thought was still the CURRENT location. So... I was 'fighting' my 'direction' giver because I'm lookin' for what...I...had previously...see....awwwww....you get tha' picture. The matter at hand. Visual food experience is ok I guess (serving the tacos pinned kinda elementary) but taste is where I rate forever. I could have patronized a Moctezuma's or an El Toros which I'm not a fan of for this 'taste'. Seriously, a number of tapped and untapped food trucks...have more tongue tantalizers and poof. Flavors are just barely there for a price I shamefully regret my sister (who TOOK ME out) even footing the bill for. No it's not 'Cuerno Bravo' pricier...(which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND RECOMMEND) but higher than the two fore mentioned. It's a modernized one of those joints, placed in 'prime real estate' (with ceiling to floor windows, the view is meh', you can see tha' marina) -- giving reason for a higher price menu. For some diners, all these things makes food taste better. And while it is of a truth, we do indeed eat with our eyes, our eyes do not taste. For me, ambience matter's but that shyt's got to add up correctly though! I'm not chewin' on a boat, a fancy table umbrella, glass carafes or exposed brick walls etc. I'm lookin' for that tongue tastin' HIT! Ambience be damned when it comes to my buds. I'm ALWAYS lookin' for that thang that make you wanna suck tha' seasonings out tha' food your chewin' on....BEFORE you decide to send it on down to the 'Department of Digestion'! I'm lookin' for that taste banger. This.... This here AINTS...it.
google avatar

Allison R.

Yelp
Food was meh and small portions. I had the Indita Omelette as recommended by the waitress. It was egg stuffed with corn tortilla chips. Not at all as described in the menu. Margaritas 10/10. But how could you go wrong. Service was very slow. They advertise garage parking but there are only 3 spots for the entire restaurant. Spent 40 mins finding a parking spot. Ambiance is nice.
google avatar

Tissa B.

Yelp
We went here on a Sunday. The restaurant is decorated very inviting and high end. The wood sculpture in the bar is beautiful, they drove it here all the way from Mexico. The seats were comfortable and the tables ample sized. The staff were very friendly and checked on us multiple times. The pineapple mocktail is superb! My party all ordered different items. Enchiladas Verde, they were very tiny and not a lot of sauce. They do not serve them with any kind of side at all, no rice/beans/salad. The Chancla was well sized but didn't come with sides either, nor did the tacos. With the cost of the food here we were expecting more. I was really looking forward to this place as I loved going to The Social, the restaurant here before. We just were not impressed with the food. We have all decided this was a one time visit for us.

Yelp
REALLY good food. Great atmosphere and excellent service. Right in the water. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Daniel E.

Yelp
Cool place. Nice ambiance. 3 tacos took 40 minutes from the moment I placed the order. Just 3 tacos no rice no beans. Steak tacos were super dry and the handmade tortilla falling apart. Restaurant half empty. IDK. A bit disappointed but it is what it is.

Yelp
We've been wanting to try this place and finally we're able to go. It was a great experience from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by the hostess who turned out to be our server as well. It was a Sunday afternoon. She was personable, efficient and accurate. Our drinks arrived very quickly, delivered by the bartender. I felt my margarita was a touch sweet, but that was the only hitch. The food was outstanding. Really really good. We did not feel weighed down afterward. I had chicken enchiladas verdes and my wife had rib eye tacos. Both were perfect. The refried beans were magical and the guacamole was excellent as was the little salsa sampler. We will be going back.
google avatar

Joyce L.

Yelp
The ambiance was cute but the food and drinks were okay. It was a bit overpriced for what you get and to be honest it wasn't a memorable experience. I might give it another try but probably not any time soon, there are similar restaurants with lower prices.
google avatar

Daina B.

Yelp
The chips are hand made but were not to my liking. They were too hard. I ordered guacamole and it came with hand made chips and refried beans. I also ordered the beef con carne
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and drinks! Abuela quesadilla is a must! Their drinks are very tasty as well, indita margarita is one of my favorites. We love that's is kids friendly and the service is always great.

Yelp
We came in based on a recommendation from our friends at Charme. It's easy to find and we were able to make reservations the same day. We were seated promptly (by the swamp cooler) and our server was very friendly. We started with guacamole and chicharron de queso along with three indita mia drinks and two isla bonitas. The apps and drinks came out very fast and looked great. The chicharron de queso was fantastic. The meat was very tender and the queso shells were heavenly. The presentation of the guacamole was very cool - everyone could make their own mini tostadas. For dinner we settled on tacos de chicharron, flautas, grandma's quesadilla, tacos de barbacoa, and a La chancla. The food came out fast. There was no skimping on the meats in the dishes - they were packed. Everything tasted great. I might recommend sharing mains - they're deceptively large/filling. The flavors were amazing. This was some great, authentic Mexican food. We loved everything. The presentation of the dishes was very resort-like. Our only issue: The swamp cooler right next to the table was a bit much. It was hard to keep our napkins with us. This is a VERY minor issue and will not deter us from returning. Stop into Indita Mia and do yourself a favor. It's a great place with great food!

Yelp
Tucked away in a quiet corner of downtown Tacoma, Indita Mia is worth the visit despite the challenging parking on weekends and evenings. If you can snag a spot or don't mind a short walk, you'll be rewarded with elevated Mexican cuisine that rivals what you'd find in Mexico City. The flavors are both bold and perfectly balanced, and I have to say, their beans are a standout--they're simply fantastic! The atmosphere is lovely, especially with its scenic views of the waterway. The service is excellent, too, with friendly servers and bartenders. I especially appreciated the server with the bold lipstick; she really knows the menu and offers thoughtful recommendations based on your tastes and dietary needs. Definitely a place I'll return to!

Mike A.

Yelp
Wow what a great Tacoma treasure! While it might be out of sight don't let this place pass you by. Great view of the marina, fun atmosphere, pleasant help and unbelievable food!!

Robert H.

Yelp
The food tasted very good. Service was so so. The place has some weird things ,such as outdoor tables with non working fire pits. And they are in the middle if the table which makes sharing food difficult. Also some of the food is served on wooden planks. How sanitary they are is anyones guess.

Erica S.

Yelp
Indita Mia was fantastic! We had the enchiladas suizas, Loncha de Pierna and Barbacoa tacos. The enchiladas were delicious, with homemade tortillas and fresh and tangy tomatillo sauce, not the stale, oxidized stuff from the can that so many Mexican chains lean on. Both our boys reported that the beef in their dishes (the torta-like Pierna and tacos) was tender and flavorful, and I have to agree with the taste they shared with me! The torta is on a baguette rather than a ciabatta-style bread, which added a bit of crunch and was very fitting for the dish. We also ordered guacamole and chips beforehand, the tortillas come larger (like small corn shell sized), with guacamole and refried beans in molcajetes, and YES, the beans were incredible! The margarita was, in fact, made with fresh squeezed lime juice, not the glug-glug corn syrup mix. A lot of attention to quality here! Some reviewers seemed disappointed that menu is smaller; however, if you're looking for the big fold-out tryptich-style menu with pictures, this isn't the place for you. Abuela is boss here. Not to mention, a beautiful view and easy parking!

Yelp
I admit when I first walked in, I wasn't sure if I was going to like the food. It was late and there was a bad smell outside the restaurant. Great ambiance and clean inside. Food was delicious. I had the cafe horchata. a first for me and Im a fan. LOL. We started with tostadas with guacamole and bean dips. Really good. Crunchier and more flavorful than tortilla chips. I had the rib eye asado and enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the corn tortilla that came with it. It tasted fresh. Our server Will was great and accommodating. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Also, the music was great too. Good vibes all around.

Lily R.

Yelp
Great food. We ordered barbacoa tacos, carne asada, and vampiritos. All of it was amazing. Order the tres leches. So light and yummy.

Yelp
Loved their cafechata and enchiladas verdes. My husband and I were there right when they were opening so it was quiet and nice. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Wow! I'm not sure where to even start. Took my son here while I was in town for work. From the guacamole and beans starter to the margarita and sirloin tacos to the tres leches cake I didn't have room for but just had to order. Nothing was lacking! Service was great too! Our waiter (wish I remembered his name) was awesome! We'll be back for birthday dinner for my son's 21st for sure. He's already decided this is where the family celebration will be.

Yelp
So.... this was my 2nd time visiting Indita Mia. The first time was great all around, on a Saturday for brunch. We were seated for 2, and the dinner and happy hour menus were both on the table. Based on the timing, it was happy hour. We ordered the bean dip and salsas specifically pointing to the happy hour menu. My partner order a margarita, which also was on the happy hour menu. For dinner I ordered the chilequiles and he ordered a steak burrito. Under the burrito, it said choice of protein. When my chilequiles arrived, it was just chips, sauce, cilantro, and sour cream. No meat or eggs. This is traditionally served with eggs. That's literally the dish. When I got the bill, they had charged extra for the steak on the steak burrito, regular price for both happy hour items, and the server said everything you want "extra" must be asked for and charged for as an add on. So if you want eggs on the traditional egg dish, you have to ask for it. If you want steak on your steak burrito even though it's in the name, you have to pay extra. In the end, it was $91 for 2 people with gratuity for 2 drinks, 1 app, and 2 entrees. Will not be going back any time soon.

Yelp
If you're looking for huge portions, you won't be getting it here. This small restaurant is definitely a spot to place a reservation for, and a place to find high end Mexican food. Although the ingredients were very high quality, the food was just... decent. I think the main reason is if I didn't have the photos available I would have struggled to know the portion size. One reason why they have three stars though is that they definitely have the best hot sauces I've tried since actually having homemade salsa and sauces. When you are imagining creativity, namesake, quality, it is here, but the authenticity and flavor just doesn't hit all the way for me and my family. Each plate cost about 11-20 and drinks are on the cheaper side. If it's your birthday, they do a wonderful celebration of a dance with a huge candle and a lot of bull candle too. The service was great as she checked in multiple times (almost too much) during the meal.

Yelp
What we ordered: Guacamole, Tacos de Barbacoa, & Grandma's Quesadilla. Indita Mia is a newer addition to Downtown Tacoma. My friend and I were exploring new spots in Tacoma and decided to stop by. The entrance is located on Commerce St. and there are tables to accommodate small and big parties. I got the Grandma's Quesadilla and wow, it's huge and that green salsa was everything! The quesadilla was stuffed with lots of shredded wagyu which was so delicious. The tacos were just as good especially dipping it into the broth. The guacamole was lime forward which I really liked. Friendly service and food came out within a reasonable amount of time. I can't wait to come back, I highly recommend!
