A Guide to NYC’s Food Halls Reopening for Outdoor Dining, Takeout, and Delivery

"Much of Industry City’s food vendor lineup is back in business, offering takeout, delivery, and outdoor dining from the food hall’s spacious open-air courtyards. The options are plentiful: Famed barbecue spot Hometown Bar-B-Que is taking online orders, Middle Eastern market Sahadi’s has grocery and meal delivery service available, and Standard Wormwood Distillery is serving up cocktails — and hand sanitizer — for takeout. A full list of open vendors is available here." - Erika Adams, Tanay Warerkar

Came for the NY Hot Sauce Festival. Dropped by The Bangkok Bar for some yummy Thai food for lunch. Then we dropped by Ends Meat to pick up some steak for dinner. I love Industry City.

Only one store opened during the new year. Was there on Jan 1st. The interior was nice though.

May 2021- The food court area and courtyard are packed, and difficult to observe social distancing if that is a concern for you. The spot is great for families and is dog friendly. Due to the pandemic, around 30% of shops and restaurants are closed - many slated to reopen for the summer. The Japanese Marketplace has an array of restaurants choices and the supermarket inside has lots of interesting finds. Bit expensive since it is an independent market, for more common asian items I would head to HMart.

This food hall has has something for everyone. There are burgers, tacos, Indian food, Thai food, Korean food, bakeries and more. There are also a convenient store and a design store with pretty stationery, books, and gifts. Industrial City is really a cool place to work or to just hangout. The building across has awesome pastries- Colson, and Japan Village.

Nice place to be to have a little break and enjoying the industrial vibes not far from the Brooklyn waterfront and Sunset Park. Good but not too overwhelming food options to grab different stuff and enjoying the outside seating with friends. Been there during the day, but sure even better for the after work experience. Definitely coming back 👍🏼

Great place to bring a group! This reminded me a lot of Chelsea Market, but I loved the outdoor seating options. It was a bit chilly when I went, and they even had a nice bonfire burning to sit by! You can’t go wrong with any of the food options here. Get any global type of food you are craving, and it will be high quality. My only problem was that I went on a Saturday at 6pm, and many of the vendors were closed.

I'm a huge fan of Industry City's food hall because it basically has something for everyone, though you'll often find not all places ae open at all hours, which can be frustrating (like when I promised a kid tacos and it was closed a half hour later) because they don't keep posted hours when it's quiet. Aside from not being able to count on something being open from one half hour to the next, it's a really fun place to be. ♿ You can also use the wheelchair accessible restrooms indoors (an anomaly) and everything inside is accessible, including seating. You may have to order from a high counter but seating is easy to find.
