"This UTSA-adjacent coffee shop sells more than just coffee, including its own brand of clothing and home goods. Amongst its traditional offerings, the star of Indy’s menu is its limited-quantity cereal milk latte, with rotating flavor options like Fruity Pebbles and Cap’n Crunch. Indy updates its Instagram regularly with cereal milk latte offerings, as well as announcements on other seasonal specialties, like the Sean Pecanery, which is like pecan pie in a coffee. Takeout orders can be placed online." - Polly Anna Rocha

Yelp
I got the hojicha latte($6)! It had a really nice earthy, roasted flavor. It is comparable to the hojicha lattes I tried in Japan! There are a few high table top seating and some couches in the back. I think if you go during peak study hours, it would be hard to find a seat! You can buy the Matcha that they use in the store, but they do not sell the hojicha powder.

Yelp
will be updating as i visit!! the walk isn't bad from campus. it's nice and cool inside. inside is vibey and hipster. gorgeous shiny espresso machine next to the register so you can watch your coffee be born. small simple menu. multiple milk options. only vegetarian tacos?? they were out of tacos by 12:00 tho. i'll try them next time. other breakfast options looked yummy, avocado toast, oatmeal, donuts.... next time. ordered an iced vanilla cold brew for here. sat down at a tall table. wish they had more comfy chairs. drink came out within what felt like a minute. so quick. cup is so cute and one of a kind. was kinda loud inside but outside has more high tops. def worth just sitting and sipping outside if it wasn't so hot. iced vanilla cold brew: 9/10 so good and sweet for no sugar/just vanilla syrup. and the cup is so cute!!!

Yelp
Earlier today, I visited @indycoffeeclub for coffee and more before I went to Costco for gas. I had the Vanilla Cold Brew with lactose free milk. There were several breakfast options. I bought a strawberry and a blueberry cake donuts, and a ham and cheese croissant all to go. It was all very good. @indycoffeeclub is a participating business with the AAPI Month Passport. Check out @satx.aapi to download the passport.

Yelp
The coffee here is good, but the prices are pretty steep. Most of the seating here is at high tops and the space is pretty small, but it's a nice place to study at. Service here is also fast and the baristas are friendly.

Robin W.

Yelp
Very busy coffee shop on a Sunday morning! I had a vanilla latte which was very tasty! It's a very loud coffee house but that is expected being so close to a university!

Jaesel P.

Yelp
small but very cozy! such a vibey place !! across from UTSA which is a plus when you need a study break (they do close at 3pm though) I had a latte with their fruity pebbles milk and it was unexpectedly Amazing ! Well balanced between sweetness and coffee taste ! Also had their matcha and it was a little too powdery but good! The guy who helped & recommended me the fruity pebbles milk latte was such a cool & nice guy! The parking was not the best and it was kind of hard. Great little study/coffee place ! And I love all the green plants they have too !

Yelp
Fantastic Matcha Latte - they add simple syrup to it FYI, but perfect amount of sweetness for me. Friendly and fast service!

Redha U.

Yelp
Their vanilla cold brew is my go to! Strong yet lightly sweet, it's perfect! Baristas are super nice and chill! I got the old fashioned donut out of recommendation and it paired so well with the coffee! Laid back atmosphere, reminds me of Austin coffee shops! Natural lighting with soft yellow light to give it a cozy feel! I really want to go back to get a shirt, they look pretty cute!

Yelp
Ambiance is nice, it a small space so not much room to sit around and was pretty packed when I went there. The service was really quick though and I had a very pleasant experience, and would definitely come back again. I had their cereal milk latte, every time they have a different cereal they will use. They had cinnamon toast crunch today, literally soooooo good!!!! I also ordered one of their plant based tacos called - La Ranchera, I wasn't expecting it to be spicy, but I like spicy so I loved it. This place really hit the spot for me!

Jon S.

Yelp
If you like good quality coffee from Parlor roasted beans, windows, welcoming atmosphere, and cloudy days; today would be the day to come here.

Yelp
I arrived to Indy coffee right as they opened (8AM) so I could start my morning off with their iced vanilla cold brew. They do not have dedicated parking so I parked on the side street which is only allowed until 10AM on weekdays. As soon as I got in, the women behind the counter greeted me and asked me what I'd like. Since it was my first time visiting, the woman explained that they used house made vanilla and a dairy free milk in the cold brew so that I knew. My drink was ready to go in just a couple of minutes! I loved how quickly the whole process with. The cold brew itself was delicious! I added a couple of sweeteners to get it to my desired sweetness level and then it was perfect. Inside was a cute and casual vibe - it was well decorated! Overall, this was a place I'd like to visit again but wish they opened a bit earlier (like 6AM), that they had dedicated parking and the prices were a tad lower (they're a bit high).

Yelp
Service was great! I was offered such a great recommendation. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and aesthetic of the coffee shop as well. So glad I found this place!

Arianna L.

Yelp
This place is so cute! I've been here three times now and brought my friends and they all like the coffee here! Perfectly sweet and balanced with a generous portion and great service. The owners really seem to know their regulars and the baristas bring the drinks to you! Lots of outlets and seating but usually pretty full and busy. Free street parking on the drag. Rustic decorations with chill music and little snoopy related Easter eggs littered throughout the store. Came here by recommendation of a friend and will continue to return whenever I am in the area. You must try their coconut vanilla latte!!

Samantha A.

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop. A little difficult to get to, the front entrance is on the street and no parking. You have to park in/near parking structure, there's another entrance in the back. The place is small and near the college so seating is limited. The coffee selection was small and simple, no foo-foo drinks, just straight up coffee. They had a special drink with cereal milk and that was interesting but came out to be delicious. The person at the cashier was kind and knowledge of the menu. If I'm around this area again I would stop buy. They had great coffee.

Vivian R.

Yelp
Avocado toast was delicious. Atmosphere was cozy and I was able to get some work done. Service was fast and I was greeted with a smile. 5/5 stars

Kelly O.

Yelp
OUTSTANDING! I thought I had written a review previously- shame on me. This place is tucked in a strip mall and it's worth the drive and find. Trust me! The coffees/cappuccinos are superior and the breakfast sandwiches we ordered that day were DIVINE. This is definitely going to be a regular stop for us for weekend breakfasts and now for me I think I'm going to have to make it a mid-week work-away-from home spot or break-spot! Highly recommend!

Alana C.

Yelp
I'd give this 2.75 stars. The pros: the coffee was outstanding, and the matcha latte was also quite good. The service member we interacted with was very nice and friendly. Ambiance was casual and clean. Cons: the food. The burrito I ordered was teeny tiny! I almost laughed when it was served. The label also read cilantro but as you can see in the photo, there is no green, and I couldn't taste it. Cilantro is one of my favorite flavors so I was pretty sad. The meat croissant my husband had was mediocre and not filling. Our nanny is Celiac and we found Indy's only got one food offering: oatmeal. Her oatmeal was gloopy and uninspired. I think it would have been better with fresh berries instead of banana, something that adds tang and acidity! I was dismayed at the absence of a baby changing table in the restroom. I had to squat down on the dirty floor to change my baby's diaper. Luckily I brought a changing mat so she didn't touch the ground but it made the task quite difficult, and a little gross. Overall, the highlight was the espresso, and beautiful foam art on top of it.

Jesus C.

Yelp
Came by for some Mothers Day Coffee. Had the sandwich which was ok. The food isn't made fresh it's brought in. The coffee was great and the staff was friendly. I'd like to come back to try something different to drink.

Jacsanne L.

Yelp
A little difficult to find. Parking is in the back. First time visiting and it was a packed house. Says alot about the business! I came for the yelp event and grabbed my free coffee. It was so good that I have energy to last the rest if the day! Definitely a cute spot for college kids to hang and chill at. Although the coffee was free, I couldn't pass up the strawberry donut yelling at me to take it home lol both items were delicious and I'm glad I could be a part if this wonderful event!

Eric J.

Yelp
I had a really great experience during a recent visit to Indy Coffee Club! I consider myself a bit of an enthusiast and it's disappointing how many baristas don't have much knowledge. I thoroughly enjoy coffee conversations, and I had a really great one at ICC. You're probably more interested in the coffee though right.... It was rather good! I opted for a cortado, and they made a fairly decent one. I'm a really big fan of local businesses, so if there was any request from my perspective it would be that they carry some local coffee bean options. The other piece is that I had a really hard time finding the shop. Best I can say is to park in the garage and walk directly back towards UTSA Blvd. Aside from my subjective opinion, I think they're doing things right at Indy. Simply because I had decent coffee and great conversation!

Chris L.

Yelp
Definitely my go to spot when visiting family in San Antonio! Great coffee and I love their banana toast! I brought my sisters with me last time I came and they loved it. Also have delicious donuts. If in the UTSA area hit them up.

Perla A.

Yelp
The ambiance of this cute coffee shop it's so nice. The vanilla cold brew it's so delicious, sweetened to perfection! I also got the hot matcha tea and it was so good as well I didn't even know which was better. The owner it's amazing and knowledgeable of her products. The have some amazing food items. I definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Yelp
Indy holds a special place in my heart. I went here throughout the length of my undergrad years and still return when I want that feeling of nostalgia. Whether to study, chill, or meet with friends I knew were regulars, this was the hot spot. I usually get the vanilla latte or Dirty Brown, but this past time I got the Sean Pecannery (has shaved pecans on top). Perfect flavors for fall weather. I also got the frequently raved avocado toast, which was a fresh blend of guac, tomato, egg, and feta, minus the crushed red peppers on a bed of sour dough. It was a light but filling brunch meal. Sometimes they play some interesting music but nothing you can't have a laugh over. The vibe is a blend of hip and well, indie. Give this local coffeehouse a visit!

Karlee H.

Yelp
Stopped in for breakfast and to work a few hours from the laptop. The food options are limited but the croissant was pretty good. Also got a very tasty chai latte and the wifi worked great while I was there.

Nechelle S.

Yelp
Indy coffee is located on UTSA Blvd on the Prado student housing strip, nestled between a barber shop and noodle tree restaurant. The decor is wood tables, metal bar stools and pendant lighting. The menu is small and uncomplicated, not many options but they do have a cereal milk latte thats quite interesting. I ordered a chai latte with a double expresso shot. The expresso overpowered the flavor of the Chai nevertheless I could still taste some notes of cardamom and possibly ginger. Parking is on the side of the apartment complex. Good place for some conversation over some good coffee or fragrant green tea ; for something different try the soba cha tea which is made from buckwheat.

Arsalan A.

Yelp
The coffee here is alright. They do have a weekly cereal milk speciality latte which is cool. However, they only serve lactose free milk so the latte was too watery for my liking. Also, the breakfast brand and cheese taco I got was terrible. It was cold and tasted very organic and earthy. The service and overall vibes are great though!

Albert R.

Yelp
Great food, comfy vibe, and respectful servers. Great combos to a laid back weekend morning.

Eva N.

Yelp
Coffee place right by UTSA campus. There was a covered parking garage to park your car. Coffee was good and we tried their La Barbara tacos and it was super delicious!!! Loved the vibes in the shop!

Moriah R.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop with great options! The service is really good and they play good music. The whole place is just a vibe! They also have free wifi for customers and lots of parking available in the garage behind the coffee shop.

Madison M.

Yelp
Great coffee! The vibe is very grunge but very diverse. For coffee, I love the Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte, conquistador and the seasonal Sean pecanary! The food there is also amazing, best empanadas and avocado toast ever.

Frank J.

Yelp
The service was great and the vibes were chill. I thought their latte was very well made, milk perfectly streamed. Would be happy to come back soon.

Coco G.

Yelp
There is super nice coffee was fresh cortado was amazing. The girls were so sweet and I love how we could just joke around together. The ambience is so freaking cute. They were super nice efficient and definitely took care of us.

Dan H.

Yelp
The best coffee shop in northern San Antonio. A knowledgeable and thoughtful staff, excellent drinks and a nice atmosphere. The cortados poured here are some of the best, a very nice start to a morning. Don't skip the vegan breakfast tacos.

Ken R.

Yelp
Indy Coffee is a cool place to hang out for a bit. Staff is super friendly. And drinking your coffee out of one of their handmade tumblers is an absolute pleasure. Also, get a blueberry donut (just leave one for me). Highly recommended.

Megan G.

Yelp
I had the Cold Brew w/ Oatmilk, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great caffeine taste with some sweetness. We ordered to go when we went there, and service was really quick. Overall, a satisfying experience.

Daniel M.

Yelp
I just like coming here, coffee is good usually only like two people working at a time so don't rude if they take a moment, locally owned place amazing.

Samantha S.

Yelp
Indy truly never disappoints and I've been going here for 5 years. They have great vibes, velvety smooth lattes, and really friendly service. My go to is the avocado toast and a vanilla latte. It comes out to about $15 which some may consider high but the quality of ingredients and care that they put into their product make it 100% worth it for me. The shop is on the smaller side but they have several options for seating including tables, a couch, and coffee/window bar seats. It does tend to get busy on the weekends, but that still doesn't ruin the atmosphere. Indy used to offer a pecan pie latte which was my absolute favorite coffee in existence but it seems this year they've done away with their seasonal latte menu, at least for now. Indy, if you're reading this, PLEASE bring it back. In the meantime, I'll still happily stick with my vanilla latte without complaints.

Ashley M.

Yelp
Great coffee and a cool ambience! Staff is always super friendly!! I love to grab a coffee and the ham and cheese croissant in the morning. Always good - definitely worth checking out!

John P.

Yelp
Service was good. Coffee was good food items are not designed to be a meal. So this bot the place to fill your stomachs. Very comfortable atmosphere.

Sara C.

Yelp
prices on older photos are lower. they increased prices. paid over $8 for a Cappuccino and a donut.............what? shortest review i've written but .. enough said

Rene M.

Yelp
The ambiance was very relaxing, I came in and was able to do my work. I love the decor and scheme of the place. Very clean and plenty of room to sit. When it comes to the beverages, I feel that they were alright, nothing special. I've had better elsewhere. Although cool, I wish the cups were larger, I feel like a got more ice than anything in my chai. My overall feelings of this place: I have more good things to say than bad. However, personally, It would not be in my top choices for coffee.

Joy S.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this coffee shop. We stopped in to kill some time between a charity walk at Six Flags and lunch at a friends house. There entrances at the front and back and parking is available on the ramp behind the building. They have a few house specialties and my mom and I both decided to get them Dirty Brown, which is iced coffee with house made vanilla syrup and my husband went with his standard cappuccino. The drinks were all well made and good. We loved the hand made mugs that the iced coffees came in. They were available for purchase and I'm kind of kicking myself for not buying a couple. I guess that means we will just have to go back the next time we visit San Antonio! We sat at the bar style seating along the front window and enjoyed being able to look outside while we were chatting. The decor is simple, but nice. Overall a great place to grab a coffee.

Reagan A.

Yelp
Such a cute place, and the vanilla cold brew is definitely one of the best coffees i've had!

Peggy B.

Yelp
Super coffee. Try their cereal milk latte - yep cereal milk and it takes you right back. Very full cups. Vanilla lattes - yum Beautiful, smooth. 'Nough said!

Cesarina G.

Yelp
Really chill spot for coffee and drinks. You'll see lots of college students (I assume) because of the location. I really enjoyed their tea variety and friendly staff.

Joe W.

Yelp
Firstly, this place is in the building with a dorm, so it's going to be tough to see when you are driving by. As the address states, it's filled with college kids. The staff are very inattentive and don't seem to want to be there. My wife is a coffee fanatic, and we had to have them add a bunch of stuff to make them ok. Save yourself the trouble.

Cynthia T.

Yelp
I still adore this place. While my friend and I were waiting for a nearby restaurant to open, we killed some time over at Indy. Staff is always a hoot, and they got a kick out of my stupid joke: "How much does a hipster weigh? An instagram! -rimshot-" As my mid-morning treat, I got their matcha green tea latte, and it was a spectacle to watch him prepare it. It has such a gorgeous, vibrant shade of green, and the bitter, grassy flavor of the matcha went well with the milk flavor. It wasn't overly bitter, nor was it icky-sweet, either. Just perfect. My friend didn't order anything, and instead sat with me and I enjoyed his companionship while I sipped on my picture-perfect latte. A great way to start my Saturday.

Emily A.

Yelp
Contemporary and trendy - the ambience is perfect for studying. Decor is warming, lighting is just right, and the smell of coffee beans is flawless.

Meilinn T.

Yelp
This is seriously one of my favorite coffee shops to do my work. Its atmosphere is cozy, and there are hightops to do work. There is a communal table in the back that sits four. I'm not sure how the seating is now with covid though. On the weekends, they make "cereal milk," which they put into lattes until they run out. They switch out the cereal types each week, so the flavors always change. I really like it! I also like their dirty brown. All their coffees are nice and smooooooth! Highly recommend. The only downside is that it is near the UTSA, so they are often busy and hard to find a table!

Erin P.

Yelp
Good. Waayyyyy overpriced. You could find the same quality food and coffee for much cheaper at any other local coffee shop. Hard to find seating anywhere. Overrated but if you need an Instagram picture and an iced coffee (not even a latte) for $5 go for it.
