Great Places in Spokane to Eat and Drink

"Though Spokane may still honor its meat-and-potatoes past, restaurants like Inland Pacific Kitchen are making creative flavors the new norm. Chefs Dylan Gilbert and Chong Vang’s eclectic menus highlight their relationships with local farms, and the open kitchen design allows the opportunity to observe them at work. The downstairs sister restaurant, Hogwash Whiskey Den, is a good spot for pre-dinner drinks." - Kris Kilduff

Our dinner for four was very tasty and enjoyable. We all had delicious cocktails and great service. Our appetizers were interesting and well-presented. Two of us had the halibut and two had the rib steak. The halibut was perfectly cooked and delicious with an amazing sauce. The steak was good, but not as tender as I would expect for that cut of beef. Again, the sauce accompanying was delicious. All of the entrees were smaller than what I would hope for the price with very little vegetables on the side. The chairs are odd and were complained about by both who sat in them as too soft and too low. We had to look up at our guests across the table. All in all, very good and we will return.

We held our office holiday party here last week in their private event space. We had about 16 people. I can't speak highly enough about our experience. Sam was incredible, and made all of our guests feel welcome, special, and taken care of. The food was amazing, and they let me in early to decorate the space. It was truly magical and I would definitely recommend them and their space to anyone looking for an unforgettable evening!

Google
The food experience here is definitely unique, and the cocktail list is creative as well. We really enjoyed our meal, and sitting where we could watch the kitchen in action was a fun touch. However, we didn’t love one of the drinks, and the staff didn’t really acknowledge it—they just kind of moved on, which felt a bit awkward. Other than that, we had a great experience!

Absolutely a hidden gem in Spokane. I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was by far the best in town. The hollandaise sauce was light and the egg was poached perfectly. The smoked salmon wasn’t too overpowering and gave a lot of umami. Another favorite is the chicken and waffles, it’s huge and so flavorful. It’s fried chicken between two waffles, with coleslaw and pickled vegetables to help cut the richness, laid in a puddle of maple syrup with Korean honey butter. I’m crying as I write this (mostly from the hot sauce but partially because its do good). Highly recommend and so glad we got to come here on the last day of our road trip! So worth it.

Everything We ordered tasted so perfect :) The portion was very reasonable. I could actually tasted the spiciness in Tagliatelle (which was wonderful because I hate tomate-based pasta dishes). Staff are nice and efficient even though they were short-handed.

One of my favorite dining experiences ever. We wanted something different for our anniversary dinner, and spokane didn’t have great ethnic options, so we decided to go here. So glad we did, all of our dishes were creative, and executed so well. Pork loin was my favorite! Wow, can’t say enough good words. We sat at the bar top overlooking the kitchen, so comfortable and not awkward at all. The bar is wide enough that it felt very professional. Best anniversary dinner ever, definitely recommend trying their current menu!

Google
My husband "don't give them a good rating, so less people will go" lovely parking lot/no charge. Historic building, which I find so fun to look around. Restaurant is gorgeous, best part is; I am very comfortable, even when very busy! I adore the genuine, friendly hosts. They all take such good care of you! Ever fresh, technically perfect food and drinks. Every component, every bite of each dish is made with love! So grateful and leave with happy belly!!

Went for brunch. All the food was excellent. The flavors on the Burrata with the watermelon aquachile was superb. Biscuits and gravy was also pretty much to die for. Very impressed by the cocktails as well, balance of flavors. Cannot wait to come back.

Yelp
Found this spot while searching through Yelp and Google for places to try while I was in the area for work. For such a great establishment, it's in a very unassuming building which holds multiple businesses. Which door to enter the building through also wasn't the most obvious but once I found IPK, it felt light and airy and was beautifully decorated. My selection for the evening included the Ahi Crudo, Flank Steak and Bees Knees. The Ahi Crudo was light and refreshing. I had only wished the granita didn't melt so quickly. The lovage puree on the flank steak dish was a bit of a surprise to me. The flavor was very familiar which caused me to sit and Google what lovage was. Turns out its root is also used often in Chinese medicinal soups which I have had before. The flavor might be a bit odd to some or a bit to earthy to others. I had never had it in a savory dish format and really enjoyed it mixed in with the other ingredients on the plate. For dessert, I really wanted the affogato but choose the Bees Knees mainly because it was already late in the evening (even though the sun had not set yet) and I really didn't need the extra caffeine lol. The presentation of the dessert was amazing. My only slight feedback is wishing the honeycomb was a bit thinner so that it would have been easier to break apart to have some with every bite. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely come back as it seems like their menu changes often with the seasons and what is available in the area.

Yelp
Our brunch got off to a bit of a slow start. We had reservations, got seated but we waited for 15 minutes before the servers came over to ask for our drinks Our meals arrived in just 35 minutes, which was great! While we were there, I didn't notice any kids or teenagers around. I asked our server if they had a kid's menu, and she said they didn't. However, she suggested that the pancakes or cinnamon buns would be a great option for them, as they were thick and shareable - and they definitely are shareable Honeydew bellini. Sparkly bubble, not too sweet. I would say a mixture of sweet and tart. Loved watching the sorbet melt into the drink. The Butterscotch latte was not too heavy on the butterscotch, so it was not sweet. First time trying warm oatmilk. Overall, it wasn't bad. Fried chicken and biscuit Imagine biting into a juicy piece of fried chicken with a perfectly cooked egg on top and a flaky biscuit on the side. Delish! The chicken is not dry and wasn't microwaved. And the biscuit...oh, the biscuit! It's so flaky, my husband couldn't resist stealing it. The coleslaw had a delicious sesame taste that complemented the meal perfectly. This meal is the definition of comfort food. Tallstack is the reason I came here temptation at its finest. It didn't disappoint whatsoever the fluffiest pancakes I've eaten. Mike said it was too sweet for him. But he did like the pancakes by themselves. More for me, lol Steak and eggs Ribeye, cook the way you like. Mike said he could tell the steak was not frozen, fresh meat. There's a difference in quality. Overall, I was very impressed with the atmosphere, the vibe and vegan-friendly items on the menu. My only regret not trying this place sooner. We will be making reservations to try dinner. Inland Pacific Kitchen 304 W Pacific Ave Ste 160 Spokane, WA 99201 United States

Yelp
Right in the heart of Spokane, a beautiful dining experience with amazing server and culinarily artistic food preparation! The taste does not disappoint. We made a reservation. Ordered freshly brewed coffee, adobo pork, pancakes, and what have you... yummy! Check them out when in Spokane!

Yelp
Inland Pacific Kitchen was a surprise find while I was traveling through this part of town. Had an early dinner reservation and walked into the restaurant not knowing what to expect. Everything on the menu looked amazing, but we kicked off the evening with a cocktail and ordered the following items: - Hamachi Crudo - Rye Sourdough - Raw Oysters - Tre Grani de Pepe - Ribeye - Banana Leaf Sorbet I don't think they had a lot of oysters in stock, but we were blessed with half a dozen of creamy oysters. The hamachi crudo was amazing as they paired with a slice of pineapple. I liked how the fish and pineapple complimented each other. All other dishes were on point, but the biggest surprise of the evening was the Banana Leaf Sorbet. The mochi and sorbet were good, but the biggest surprise was the cilantro simple. As someone who does not like desserts overwhelmingly sweet, this was the perfect item to close the evening. Would recommend this restaurant if you want to have a nice evening out without breaking your piggy bank.

Yelp
Visited IPK after seeing an article about their statewide ranking in the paper. The atmosphere is casual, adult and welcoming. The room is larger than it appears with the bar and kitchen combined. High ceilings give the room an light and airy feeling. The service was very friendly. Our server was also the GM and we chatted about other local restaurants. We started with a bottle of Veuve Cliquot and the Beef Tartar, which was delicious! My wife ordered the Duck (potato pave, kale, huckleberry, maple agrodolce and szechuan peppercorn. I ordered the Pork Shank (coconut cream polenta, braised collard greens and shitake ragout. They were a heavenly treat. Dessert was Kiwi Sorbet (oat cake, strawberry powder, puffed aramanth and malted meringue) and Affogato (huckleberry gelato, maple whipped cream, espresso and brown sugar streusel). The atmosphere, service and astounding array of flavors made for one of the best evenings of dining in Spokane. We were very glad we came!

Yelp
Food was amazing. Very fresh! Service was great. They were very attentive. Very nice music in the background. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
One of the best fine dining restaurants in Spokane imo because of its seasonal and somewhat eclectic menu, aesthetically pleasing plating and interior design, mellow ambiance, and friendly, non-pretentious service. Got the beef tartare ($20), coppa ($39), halibut ($38), and what we do in the forest ($14) for dinner and was v glad we did. The tartare was kind of deconstructed and came with an olive spread that was perfect with the hard sourdough. Each entree had several elements so you get a variety of flavors and textures instead of a singular item which can get boring sometimes. I'm not the biggest chocolate lover so the dessert was just okay, but still five stars because it had a fun, autumny presentation and the basil sponge cake was pretty unique. Easy parking in their lot is also a plus haha

Yelp
I'm tardy getting to this review so the details are fuzzy... what is not fuzzy is that this was one of the best meals I have had in a long time, which includes some pretty awesome places in Seattle! The cocktails were unique and delicious - all were amazing... we had a variety of shareables and entrees - pasta, rabbit, Osso Buco... The best part may have been the dessert - do not stuff yourselves and skip dessert - two of the best concoctions in a long time. We will be back!!

Yelp
Some of the best food I've ever eaten in my life! Please go enjoy this amazing restaurant and service!

Yelp
I am so mad at myself for not trying IPK sooner. SO. GOOD. Everything was beautiful and delicious. I had the chicken and biscuit and For the biscuit connoisseurs the best buttery biscuits in town. For the Benedict lovers the hollandaise is buttery perfection (handmade not a mix). Espresso Martini where they pull a shot. If you haven been here go. Now. It's worth it.

Yelp
The good: the ambience was amazing, the location and building are so cool, and the set up was fantastic. Getting to see trains rolling by out the window really sold it. The service was also fairly solid and I'd be very happy to get to interact with the cooks or servers again. The mediocre: Parts of the food were underdone, other parts were over done. I had a smoked salmon benny and the hollandaise and salmon were delectable, but the eggs and english muffin being overdone really killed the vibe. The bad: We had reservations for two, and we were seated at the bar instead. Granted, we were a few minutes late for our original reservation as there was a long line (1 person) at the host stand ahead of us and it took ages for us both to be approached. I don't like to make a fuss or a scene, but they never asked if we'd be okay with bar seating or if there was an issue with the reservation, and then there were at least three two person tables that stayed empty the entire time we were there. Overall, they're trying to hit a bit above their weight class, it's a solid atmosphere and definitely a cool spot that we'll be giving a few more chances as I want to love it, so I'm hoping to be able to update this more favorably in the future, maybe it was just an off day.

Yelp
Wow! Just Wow! Wanted a place we hadn't been to and we chose IPK. Best. Decision. Ever! Went with husband, brother and sister-in-law. We shared the Honeydew Gazpacho (OMG), Burrata with Peaches (delightful), Roasted Carrots (so yummy). My brother had the halibut and raved about it and my husband had the hangar steak and was very pleased. We had the Basil Gelato and an Affogato for dessert, incredible! We left fat and as happy! Thank you for such an incredible evening! What an experience!

Yelp
My first visit to Inland Pacific Kitchen was truly an enchanting experience, well worth every moment. Every element from the food to the ambiance, atmosphere, and service, flawlessly combined to create an outstanding customer experience. Our dining spot was a charming corner table, perfect for a date night. The layout of the restaurant was intriguing - an open space that allowed us a glimpse into the kitchen, to witness the cooks at work, further enhancing our dining experience. What really stood out, however, was the food. The dishes were invigoratingly delicious, with a distinct impression of freshness that suggested all ingredients were handpicked that very day. The tantalizing flavors were so impressive, we were drawn back for brunch the next day. The brunch was exceptional, and their drink selection was equally impressive - well-crafted concoctions that tantalized our taste buds. Based on the delightful tastes and the unparalleled dining experience, I would not hesitate to rank Inland Pacific Kitchen as one of the finest culinary establishments in town.

Yelp
So creative and so delicious. Every time. The chefs at Inland Pacific Kitchen are amazingly talented at making food taste good AND look good. It's like art on a plate. The potato gnocchi was some of the best I've ever had, and the king oyster mushroom tartine is definitely the fanciest toast I've ever had. I love that their menu changes seasonally to include the freshest ingredients!

Yelp
The menu might appear to be intimidating but Ryan answered our questions and helped us choose several starters to share for the table. Every bite bursts with flavor! The brocollini (not pictured) was a favorite.

Yelp
Cute little restaurant in Spokane. The menu is crafted for those with a pallet that is diverse. The menu items are unique and nothing like you'd find around town. Taste is excellent. The open kitchen concept is really cool especially while sitting at the bar top. Speaking of the bar the cocktails are incredible . The service is great, and will be visiting often.

Desiree K. L.

Yelp
Food is always amazing there - love the seasonal rotation of the menu and we have never had a bad meal there. Always a top notch choice when we want a special night out. The ambiance is delightful, and if you get the chance, sit up near the kitchen and chat with the chefs as they're working - they are always friendly and enthusiastic when talking about their dishes! They also accommodate non-alcoholic drink requests exceptionally well and make unique mocktails even when we make an off menu request. We really enjoy going there. We had to take our dessert to go, as we were perfectly full from our entree orders. The food is as beautiful as it is delicious.

Yelp
My friends and I had an unpleasant, disappointing experience at IPK, followed by management ignoring my email for weeks and then replying back with a bunch of excuses. First, when my friends and I arrived at IPK, we were slightly early. There was an open table that would have been large enough but the host said that our table wouldn't be ready for quite awhile, well beyond our reservation time, so we should go downstairs to a bar and buy drinks. None of us wanted to do that, but we went downstairs to the bar because the host was not really giving us an option. Before we ordered drinks downstairs, the host came and told us the table was ready. The next thing was even weirder. Before we ordered, someone from the kitchen brought us an appetizer of some kind. We spent some time speculating about what it could be, and assumed it was an apology for seating us late after sending us to the bar. After this, our waiter came over and took our orders. The next time the host walked by, we asked her what the appetizer was. She said something to the effect of "that's a mistake" and picked it up and actually brought it to another table -- after it had been sitting on our table for around 10 minutes and anyone could have handled it. When a management finally addressed my email, they said I should have let them know about my disappointment sooner (we actually did). While acknowledging that taking food from one table to another was inappropriate, the email was mostly defensive with a twist of blaming me for not being more timely with my complaint, after ignoring my email for a month. As long as I'm writing a review to point out IPK's dismissiveness and inattention to food hygiene, I'll add that the food was overpriced. I wouldn't have taken the time to write about it, without the unprofessional treatment my party and I experienced.

John C.

Yelp
Tiny entree portions, no bread to help fill you up . I left hungry with an empty wallet.
google avatar

Joshua S.

Yelp
After eating this meal, I am ready to change my entire diet to mushroom risotto with sourdough bread and prosciutto for breakfast every single day.
google avatar

Kit T.

Yelp
Great place for brunch and dinner. EVERYTHING I've had from IPK is well balanced, from the cocktails to the food. Been here 3 times, once for dinner and twice for brunch and both menus offer great options and great cocktails. The service is just right, everyone is attentive and kind.

Tim V.

Yelp
One of the best meals I have had in my life. The oysters, beef cheeks, pork, nettle pasta, and drinks were all on another level! The service was fantastic and the building is a really cool vibe.
google avatar

Angela T.

Yelp
Easily one of the best restaurants in Spokane. We've been here twice now for special occasion dinners and have not been disappointed. Sam was our server both times, and she's so sweet and helpful! She chatted with us about why she loves the dishes we chose, which helped us enjoy them even more. You really can't go wrong here, but most recently we had the sourdough tartine, duck breast, butternut squash pasta, and whiskey cocktails. They were all delicious! The atmosphere is wonderful as well, nice relaxing music and a fun open concept kitchen. We will be back here time and time again for sure!

Amanda E.

Yelp
So good. I've been here twice for brunch in the past month. Bartender remembered us and our drink order. He is also great with recommending food. He steered me toward the "hash browns" which were far more than hash browns. It was more of a recipe riced potato which was hidden beneath lots of deliciousness. The sauce was amazing. Servings are large so plenty to share! Finished it with the most insane donut, toppings finished right there. So good.

William G.

Yelp
Place is pretty cool setup - nice vibe - but the meal was horrible. We were the last people seated that evening and no crowd. Appeared they wanted to get closed up. I ordered the salmon: Salmon* | alaskan king, couscous, smoked pea, fennel, frisée, pickled ramp, charred citrus vinaigrette | 38 I got two small pieces of a filet - 2 to 3 inch square from the tail of the filet - so it was thin. skin on - and it was over cooked - so it was dry. I've eaten a lot of salmon, cooked any way you can imagine - this was as bad as it gets. Couscous was couscous. The rest of the meal was tainted by the bad salmon / couldn't get past it. Staff was pleasant. I will try again - but not the salmon.
google avatar

Hailey L.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in Spokane! Your lucky if Sharde or Ryan help you. The open kitchen concept is pure entertainment, as you can literally watch every step of how your meal is prepared - kudos to Allen for being so sweet and talking us through some of the amazing dishes he was preparing during the Inlanders annual restaurant week. These pictures are the from that menu - can't go wrong with anything in their rotating menu either! The presentation is stunning as well - #foodasart#

Jennifer M.

Yelp
We moved to the Spokane area last summer from Chicago and this restaurant is on par with downtown Chicago plating, taste, quality - and is value for the money. John was our server and we were able to sit at the kitchen bar. We started with cocktails - Darling Downs was refreshing and perfect accompaniment to the Breakfast of Champs and Beef Cheeks. Entree was the Chicken Ballotine paired with the wine suggestion. Then enjoyed 2 desserts - Jasmine White Peach Gelato and Apricot Sorbet with a Beautiful per John's suggestion. Owner was present in the restaurant and got our accolades as we were departing. We will definitely return for their seasonal rotating menus, excellent service, and beautiful plating!

Yelp
So we stopped at a restaurant that had an hour in a half wait--ridiculous for a Thursday. So this place was on a list. No wait. HOW?? How in the world does this place not have a wait every dang night? Super unique menu, changes every so many weeks. Full flavor explosions in your mouth! Panzenalla-summer squash, cherry tomatoes, jicama, red onion, focaccia croutons, harissa vinaigrette and stracciatella cheese Lamb Sugo-tagliatelle, green olive, poached egg and parsley Duck confit- plum sauce, quino, leeks, brussel sprouts, frisée and anise hyssop Foie and stonefruit- peach, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry, Foie Gras, brioche, cocoa nib vinaigrette and amaranth leaf. One of the best meals we have had in years. Hands down. Such a random find too! I would eat here over and over again!
google avatar

Ethan P.

Yelp
The hash with brisket is non-traditional and the harissa and zhug are great on this. recommended to get with poached eggs. finished off with the salty sweet donut which is amazing. I could taste every flavor that was on the menu in the frosting and cream. definitely will be back!
google avatar

Justin B.

Yelp
The food was delicious, but not as advertised. We order the ménage foie. It literally has foie in the name. There was no foie. I found out after finishing it that if you wanted to have the foie on it, you have to ask for it specifically. Even though foie is in the name. Fix your menu or have the servers inform the customer that you need to order the foie as a side to actually have it added to a dish that has it in its name.
google avatar

Charlene G.

Yelp
We loved the ambiance and decor of this restaurant. The service was excellent as well. It was our first time trying this restaurant. I was really excited to try the food, but if fell short for all of us. The presentation of the food was good. I had the hash - the potatoes were raw, the onions had to be cut up because they were so big, and the multiple sauces had too much going on. Two people in my party had the biscuits and gravy and although it had good flavor it was too spicy. My daughter had the french toast and liked it. My son in law had the egg Benedict and it was spicy as well. I don't think we will be back. A lot of money for food that didn't hit the mark.
google avatar

Yelp
Outstanding food, friendly service, exquisitely flavored dishes taste as good as they look. Very cool location as well.
google avatar

Nicole E.

Yelp
I tell everyone to come here, it's high on my list of favorite restaurants, not even just in Spokane! Their flavors are insane, some of the most unique and tasty combos I've ever had. The servers are wonderful, so friendly and have great recs for drink and wine pairings. Brunch, dinner, lunch, dunch, I'd come here every meal if I could. The atmosphere is perfect for everything from date night to a girls' brunch, classy but NOT snobby.
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
One of the best meals I have ever had. Only come here if you want interesting flavor combinations, artful plated, delicious food. These are small plates which makes it ideal to try most of the menu (which changes). The ambianace was a simple space, artfully decorated with a bar in the center. The servers were well versed on each of the dishes, explianed them beuatifully as they came out and had great recomendations for both the food and the specialty drinks. They are known for their gin drinks, so I tried a Thai flavored gin cocktail. I don't normally drink gin, but I took my waiters recomendation and really enjoyed it. As for the food everything was amazing and try to eat it slowly so you can really appreciate the chef's vision. Our favorite dishes were the oyster mushrooms, the salmon, and the OMGAZING goat cheese. We did not order the goat cheese initially, but decided we needed one more dish (we were going to revisit the oyster mushrooms) but we took the server's recommendation and actually had it with the dessert course. My tip is save it and just have it for dessert. It was hands down everyone favorite plate of the night. I could go into detail about each of the dishes, but because they change regularly that would just be a tease. I do have photos of them all. I am sur the photos do not do them justice. Just go and taste for yourself. you will not regret it!
google avatar

Mallory H.

Yelp
Disappointing experience. We waited almost two hours for our entrees (an hour and fifty minutes). Our server didn't check in at all or apologize for the wait. The server also didn't ask my husband how he wanted his ribeye cooked, which we did not realize until the food finally came out and it was medium well! It was very tough, and honestly the flavor was non existent. Pretty bland. I did really enjoy my entree, which was the braised lamb dish on the winter menu. Given the higher price point but lower quality service and food, I don't think we will be returning.

Yelp
Last night my wife and I stopped in here for the first time for dinner. The building was built in the late 1890s and has been nicely repurposed while retaining much of the historical look, very cool. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated, we each ordered one of the house specialty cocktails; Mary tried the "Lady and the Krampus, brandy, Krampus liqueur, pear, lime, June rouge float, very tasty. I tried the Probable Caws, rye, aquavit, crowsberry liqueur, lemon, tonic, very tasty. As a starter we shared the King Oyster Mushroom Tartine; rye sourdough, grilled leeks, marinated king oyster mushroom, horseradish skordalia, salmon roe; absolutely delicious. Mary ordered the Potato Gnocchi; white bean cream sauce, pine nut brown butter, house bacon, spinach, oyster mushroom, bottarga, truffle oil, parmesan; delicious. I ordered the Ribeye Bourguignon; smoked pearl onion, king oyster mushroom, carrots, house bacon, potatoes, delicious. For dessert we shared the Bavorois; Huckleberry, lingonberry, spruce cordial, bee pollen, lemon balm, pavlova; outstanding!! Your should give place a try.
google avatar

Den E.

Yelp
Everything we ordered was unexpected and delicious. Even their cocktails are unique and dangerously refreshing. Their menu is always changing, another reason will definitely be back!
google avatar

Lisa D.

Yelp
Server was great, food was delicious. We almost didn't go as they didn't appear to have reservations available online at the times we wanted so we picked a different time. The restaurant was basically empty that night so I'm not sure why it said it was unavailable 1/2 hour before and after as we were there for quite awhile and there were only 2 of us but reservations were not available. Just a warning if you want to go try it out, maybe call to check availability. At any rate, the food and drinks were excellent. I eat out of town quite a bit and this rivaled a fancy meal in any city. I will be back. I hope this place stays here as it's an oasis in Spokane.

Alyssa A.

Yelp
Every meal I have ever eaten here has been a gastronomical delight. The presentation, the flavors, the interesting combination of ingredients--all these components form a meal you won't be able to find anywhere else in the Inland Northwest. Pair the food with an unpretentious elegance and fabulous cocktails and you have IPK. It's worthy of repeat visits to explore the shifts in the menu offerings, the rotation of artwork, and new drinks.
google avatar

Hbk S.

Yelp
Really a pleasing dining experience. Flavors are spot on. Presentation is well thought through. I think it got on the top of my list for special occasions or a business meetings. Service was amazing! Overall no less than 5 stars for sure! Must try and you will become a fan! Oh andthe sourdough is to die for!

Yelp
This is the best fine dining in Spokane. At the end of the day, the lighting is perfect. The service team is great / the team has personality and skills. The culinary experience is always exceptional, pushing the boundaries on functionality and tastes. You feel like you could be in New York in an alley, discovering a hidden gem that perfectly creates a dining experience designed for you.
google avatar

Yelp
When it opened, it was stellar. New owners, new chef - not so great. Half full yet service was slow and inattentive. Pasta dish was bland and served cold, probably because the duck took too much time to fuss over? The duck was undercooked. The dessert was a hodgepodge and was pretty awful.
google avatar

Eva C.

Yelp
We've been here a few times over the years. But each time we go I always say we need to come more often. Dinner here is an experience not just a meal. Their plates are a work of art and have so many ingredients and flavors that you won't find anywhere else in town. We ordered 5 dishes: Lavish Crackers, Clockwork Orange, Halibut, Pork Secreto and the Octopus. Each dish had its own unique flavor and was mouthwatering delicious.

Yelp
Inland Pacific Kitchen is THE gem of Spokane! It's our new favorite restaurant and will be our natural go-to. Chef has an incredible mind for combing flavors and balancing the whole meal. The pacing of each dish made for an experience, multi-hour and complete digestion, conversation and appreciation for each dish, rather than *just a meal*. If you're looking for a location whose Chef clearly is thoughtful, takes care in preparing each dish, combines unique flavors and bolsters you for an intimate experience with your party, this is it! The interior is classy modern and chic, comfortable and intimate, with a small staff to see to your needs, the kitchen is made available for viewing. It's a romantic experience. I'm excited to say we're already scheduled to go again in a few weeks, but when the Tasting Menu option is made available again (it's on pause) we'll happily be participating in that, too. Inland Pacific Kitchen is a Spokane MUST!

Yelp
Spokane needs more restaurants like this! Course comes in small artistically plated portions but very flavorful and descent price. You usually see this foods craft at highly rated hotels or restaurants. The experience with the server was phenomenal. He was very attentive and knows each courses brought out to us. He explains them meticulously as it comes to our table. I was delighted with the dishes that you think should taste in a certain way but throws you off guard (in a good way). I was more impressed when Chef Chong served us a course that brought me back to my deepest and most treasured childhood memories. I've never felt that emotional experience before, in a food! For that, I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
This place was a real treat. We couldn't stop tasting each others dishes. One of the most interesting meals we've eaten in some time- very interesting textures, colors and flavors. I would put this place on par with some of the restaurants in NYC we frequent when at home. This place made our trip to Spokane special. Hidden gem.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Excellent service, I wish I remembered the waiters name since he was very friendly and did his job very well. The food and cocktails are amazing, especially for the price.

Yelp
Always a great experience here! Staff is great and down to earth, they make you feel welcome. Always interesting combinations and amazing flavors- love trying new and different foods I don't usually cook with or see on other restaurant menus. Highly recommend their pork secreto (fall 2020 menu). Favorite date night place!
