"Hollywood’s newest gorgeous dining destination is Inn Ann, opening Tuesday, November 27 at Hollywood and Highland of all places. The modern, minimal restaurant is hidden away on the fifth floor as part of Japan House, the cultural project owned and operated by Japan’s own Ministry of Foreign Affairs." - Farley Elliott

Great experience! My very first time trying traditional Japanese tasting course. I love how it shows the appreciation of food and the original taste of food. All the sushi and sashimi are very fresh. The beef course is super super tasty. Deserts are perfect. The great environment and beautiful table wares are just adding on to the unique experience! Every element is inspiring and delightful. 👍🏼 Definitely worth the price!

This place is absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I went for my birthday meal and we chose the Kaiseki Menu. First of all, the atmosphere was romantic, private, and beautiful. The service staff was well trained and there were lots of people around to help you navigate the somewhat hidden location. Outside it is noisy and busy and right in the middle of Hollywood, but inside is a hidden peaceful oasis. The appetizer course was our favorite— there was so much diversity of flavor and texture, it was phenomenal. For main dishes we had the cod and the king crab, and both were great. Then we had the nigiri and bara-chiashi. Next to the appetizer assortment, the bara-chiashi was the star of the evening. It was like the worlds best possible poke bowl. We finished with the Japanese chestnut crèche brûlée and the matcha mousse. Both deserts were light and complex in their flavors. Truly an incredible japanese take on two French favorites. Overall, a wonderfully delicious experience worth every penny, and then some. HIGHLY recommend.

Had the pleasure of eating here during Inn Ann’s initial weeks of opening. Chef Taro Araki’s menu was exquisite. The appetizer plate of curated single bites was exceptional and included flavors and textures I had never had before — Shrimp in Dashi Jelly 🙌 & Japanese Mugwort Gluten Cake 🙌 to name two. The selection of fish was of the highest quality on all the courses and the Bara-Chirashi was delicate, rich, and decadent. The Matcha Mousse dessert was an awesome and unique way to conclude the meal. The Yuzu citrus cocktail was beyond delicious and drinkable and the service was impeccable. The price is $100 and worth every penny for the incredible gastronomic experience.

My first experience was quite exceptional private kaiseki lunch for 30 people. We took over the restaurant for a special meal for American Japanese Women's Society Nichi Bei Fujin Kai. Chef Morihiro was so gracious hosting and serving a beautiful set lunch. One of my favorite lunches I've ever had. And not to mention Japan House and Hollywood and Highland just to get there... Wow the service and atmosphere were top knotch. Highly recommended coming from a Japanese American LA native! ✌🏻👍🏼👍🏼
