Inner Sunset Flea Market~2nd Sundays April to November 2024

This flea market is so cute , I have never been disappointed here , there’s music playing , jewelry , vintage clothes , jeans , household items , and lots more tiny treasures to find . There also a small bubble station area where kids can play and participate in blowing bubbles . My husband and my self enjoy coming here . It’s not very expensive and they easily are negotiable .

Worth checking the place out when in SF. Parking is challenging but nice selection and collection of used and vintage items .

So it was a flea market with really good music. I bought my wife 3 scarfs , one super cool one from Fiji for $4 but we happened to not have change so we took another one and the nice person who helped us threw in another one! Some fun and great vibes; not to mention the Stellar Bloody Mary's we scored at the Blackthorne. Shout out to the bartender. Headed off to The Bandshell for Reggae Sundays!

Very interesting place, found really good stuff

Mostly people vending clothes, their closets, or dusty antiques. I was a bit disappointed by the size, but I don’t know what I expected since it was only a block. There was live music, but otherwise a bit of a miss.

It's fine, had live music which was nice and is very community orientated, but was essentially one block of garage sales.

Not enough vendors to make this work. Parking is super tough.

Many vendors with antiques and collectibles. Had nice breakfast in the area and close to the bus stop.

Normally I'm a champion for all things San Francisco and generally find myself being even moreso during all this talk about the supposed "doom spiral" we're operating in. That said, it's hard to whip up enthusiasm for something which just felt so very meh. The weather was quite inhospitable but that's not what influenced my assessment of the offerings here, on a few blocks along Irving Street. No, it was the sorry, mostly wildly overpriced offerings. With the exception of some pleasant live music and some games for small children the Inner Sunset Flea appeared to be about 90+% used or vintage clothing. I was not alone in stepping away from some hanging racks after seeing prices that ranged from $100-$200, most which looked like they were selected from your local Goodwill store. If you recall the old Marin City flea market you know this: the Inner Sunset Flea could and should be so much better.

it's not huge but it's very kid and family friendly. This monthly event runs 10am - 4pm remaining dates for 2022 August 14 September 11 October 9 November 13 There was a nice mix of vendors selling clothing, shiny things, prepared food, and minor collectibles. For the kids they had a variety of distractions that included huge soap bubble rings, and hula hoops. Notably the event had a rather large audience enjoying the live music. Overall I'd say hit up the Inner Sunset Flea if in the area for the weekly farmers market or if visiting a nearby shop.

Few weeks ago, we participated at the Inner Sunset Flea pet costume contest and we won! Actually we were all winners! Pets who got dressed up were winners, people who like looking at cute pets were winners, pet parents were winners. Vendors were winners. Super fun! Also they have a variety of vendors there selling all types of things from vintage/antique housewares and wares, handmade clothes, jewelry, books, etc. Bik's and I also got to make some bubbles. Fun way to explore the neighborhood.

I spent some time in Mexico before COVID locked things down in early 2020. Thought I'd look deeper into the local flea market scene and signed up for the Inner Sunset's mailing list. On Sep 9th I received an email saying "2020 launches September 13th!". Before walking all the way out to the Inner Sunset from Eureka Valley I checked my email for updates - none - but when I arrived there was no market. Not a trace. Waste of a precious afternoon. If you live in the Inner Sunset and can look out your window/up the street to see if it's happening, might be worth your while. Not to be trusted if it's outside your line of sight. Kindest thing I can say about using an email list to invite people, then failing to use the same list to alert them to a cancellation is that it's a rookie move. It wouldn't be out of line to call it incompetent, or a sociopathic pranking.
