Insomnia Cookies

Insomnia Cookies always comes through when that sweet tooth kicks in. 😋 I’ve had them a few times and they never miss. Stopped by today after placing an order online, and even though I had to wait about 20–30 minutes, it was for a fresh batch straight out the oven—so no complaints here! Warm, gooey cookies > cookies that have been sitting all day. 🍪 The staff was super nice too. Overall, they hit the spot every time. It’s no Tiff’s Treats, but still sooo good when you need that cookie fix.

The girl at the counter was very nice. She was working all alone because the other lady with her was just standing on the side talking to someone. I gave 3 starts because the cookie and the lady behind the counter was nice. But the other two are gone because it’s not fair that the lady behind the counter was working all by herself a big line getting cookies and icecream while checking everyone out while the other person was just talking to someone in the lobby. Not cool.

Came for my son's birthday dessert and he loved it! He was able to pick for many choices and they came out fresh and warm! Great first experience and can't wait to return!

Updated: I had to jump through flaming hoops after working with customer support to re-do my order. The Deep Ellum location had no information regarding my order, pickup time, etc., though I had been corresponding with Customer Service all evening. I had to show the long thread of messages, and almost beg for my order. The cookies tasted much better this time, but I just wouldn’t recommend them. Two horrible experiences back-to-back. Previous Post: This basic cookie experience left me wanting more. I wish I had gotten some cookie dough and baked them myself at home. The confetti cookie was doughy and underbaked, and the cookies were too sweet and not warm.

When you spend $18 on 6 cookies you expect them to be soft and warm. Not warm and rock hard from sitting in a warmer for hours. Would not waste my time on this location again. Have had better cookies at 7-11

I wish I could say I got insomnia from Insomnia Cookies because I ate too many and couldn’t stop thinking about how good they were. Unfortunately, I can’t. The cookies never arrived. The order started out late, then crossed the line into “never delivered.” It’s beyond disappointing that in 2025, ordering cookies can somehow turn into an exercise in false hope. Now I’m left with actual insomnia—wondering what happened to my order and questioning whether 2026 will finally be the year a simple cookie delivery becomes reality. For those who have tasted an Insomnia Cookie—or for those who successfully received their delivery—cherish it. Cherish your blessing. May you have many more. Be wary. One should be able to order cookies and expect cookies. Apparently, that’s not guaranteed here.

The cookie did not taste fresh at all. I got one of their bigger cookies with ice cream I don't even know what it's called or bother to look it up but that cookie tasted like it had been there two days

Cookies were as expected. Nothing crazy good but they were solid. The price of the originals are priced appropriately I feel. But the other ones are a bit pricey. Service here was very blah. Wasn't given a very welcoming feel.

There is never a bad experience at insomnia cookies for me. The cookies are always warm and fresh - literally falling apart - and always so delicious. I'm literally never disappointed and the service is always great and welcoming.

11 PM on a Thursday night. Instead of a beer, I decided to try dessert and boy did I luck out! Delicious flavors, huge portions, and friendly quick service. Win win win!

I went a late evening on Sunday and it lady working was so sweet and nice we got a box and a wich. We sat outside it was a nice evening inside was clean and fun.

Stopped in midday Saturday. We were not greeted when we walked in; the worker was very quiet and wanted us in and out as quickly as possible. Ordered two chocolate chunk cookies. They were standard for Insomnia cookies, warm and chocolatey. Seemed a bit smaller than normal (but I haven't been to insomnia in a while).

When I tell you they have the perfect recipe for some awesome cookies, I mean they have the perfect recipe for some awesome cookies. Just get your milk or whatever is your favorite beverage is to have with cookies and get ready to be delighted. After your first bite you will feel your eyes roll and lay out a big sigh. The cookies I'm showing you are their vegan options and the have plenty of non-vegan cookies. So go ahead treat yourself. You won't be disappointed.

This cookie joint is delicious! I also want to mention that the store manager Janie, was outstanding with her service. We had a little situation with our order and she went above and beyond to make it right. Attitude free, I might add, she really was a doll. I will be returning to this specific location for my late night cravings of sugary delights.

Horrible service at first. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon, no one else was in the shop. The workers were talking amongst themselves and walking back and forth between the kitchen and the counter. They spent more time in the kitchen. They did not greet us. It was like they were making a point to keep us waiting, it was a weird and unwelcoming feeling. However, as I was not in a rush, I wanted to stay and see what happened. When I was finally greeted and given eye contact, the cashier asked what I wanted and explained the selection and prices as this was my first time here. We choose a cookie sandwich. The cookie was decent, not the best I've had but not dry or stale. The ice cream was the star! The purple Dreamweaver was delicious chocolatety goodness but the real winner was the Caramellionaire. Sooo yummy. I would come back for the ice cream but try a different location.

So what do you do when you want something sweet and delicious at 11PM, yup, Insomnia Cookies! I have made it a point to try Insomnia in my travels and they are all consistently AF! During a visit to Dallas we opted, we meaning ME! Decided to GrubHub some of these yummies of cookies. I ordered 3 of 4 different types of cookies. After my ordered went thru I received notification that insomnia does their own delivery this the deliver would not track on my phone. About 15 min after I placed the order, I received a call from insomnia that the M&M cookies were not available and would I like to substitute-sure switch them to oatmeal. I think the snafu delay with filling orders and making sure I received what I wanted ultimately delayed the receipt of my cookies, but at least people are placing orders and small businesses like this can make sales. Back to the cookies....soft, decadent,warm,gooey rounds of cookie goodness in a box. I am not going to disclose how many I ate, but it was somewhere between a weeee bit and holy ship I ate half the box. Am I sorry for my crimes of excess cookie enjoyment, nope, cant wait to do it again! Solid 5 stars for cookies and the mystery Uber man that made the delivery.

Folks are real nice here; I had family visiting from out of town and they went in to browse. Though there's not much to look at inside, we ordered a few cookies to try. Usually, each cookie is fairly pricey, but the staff gave us our fresh order for free (likely because we looked like tourists). I don't think they'll give every customer on-the-house cookies, but it was real sweet of them to do. Strongly recommend the triple chocolate cookie - soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The S'mores cookie was delicious as well. While free cookies are nice, we definitely would've paid for these.

$3 for a VERY small cookie, that wasn't fresh or warm is ridiculous. I wouldn't stop here again. 2 stars for the friendly cashier.

Came here for a late night snack. I love the insomnia cookies in LA, so I was a happy to see that the quality remains the same in Dallas as well. Cookies came out quickly and were delicious.

Stopped by this location to grab some cookies and I was pleasantly surprised when it came to their service ! There were two employees working and they both were friendly and welcoming. They made genuine small talk and let us know which cookies were the most fresh. Snickerdoodle and chocolate chunk forever!

When we went in, the employees were appearing to prepare for closing over a hour early and immediately had an attitude about serving us. My card was declined, I tried another card, and that was declined too, but I showed the clerk the amount in the account. Another customer also tried his card and it was declined as well, so I told the clerk there was a problem with the system and was treated like a liar until a group of people from a showed up and when their cards declined then we were "believed." I honestly feel that the machine was cut off in preparation of closing early, and my friend and I had annoyed the manager and cashier and they wanted to make us leave. We were told to figure it out if we didn't have cash and order on the app. This was after over 20 minutes of trying to figure it out and being treated like liars. we were not even offered any type of apology or compensation. THEN, after a group of people walked in, miraculously the machine started working again, By the way, the manager was the joyful personality that rolled her eyes at us told us to figure it out . I will never return and the fact that we went there specifically because my friend had a pregnancy craving and the parking in deep ellum was literally $31 is just the cherry on top of the terrible service and lack of common sense.

The cookies are soft and warm. You can get 6 classic cookies for $10. We got oatmeal raisin, chocolate chunk, sugar, and MnM. They were good, but a little too sweet for me. The girl working also didn't seem to know the menu, but maybe she was new..

Cookies are good the service is a little shady but the vibes are chill. A little pricey but hey what isn't pricey now a days

Paid $17 for a box of 6 cookies. Each cookie the size of a tennis ball. Extremely small and yes kept warm in a warmer. Nothing great or special! Go to the grocery store and buy a tub or cookie dough. Same taste and flavor. Or stick with crumbl at least double the size for the same price of a box

S U M M A R Y I love these cookies. I prefer them over tiffs treats. T A S T E Peanut butter cookies - i'm obsessed with peanut butter. And once I grew up from being a child I realize that peanut butter cookies were far superior than chocolate chip cookies. And I've never looked back. The peanut butter cookies here and insomnia are so good. They are light and warm and they just melt in your mouth. This place also has a peanut butter cup cookies! This is my absolute favorite cookie and you can find this almost nowhere. So that is a big plus in my book. S E R V I C E Service at this Deep Ellum location is never overly friendly. But it's a grab and go so I'm not too worried about it. A M B I E N C E I believe there's no seating on the inside but there is seating on the outside. It's like a grab and go counter. It smells good inside because the cookies are always baking. P R I C E Regular cookie - 2.50$ Deluxe cookie - 4.25$ Cookie sandwich - 9.25$ I've cream sandwich- 7.75 - 11.25$ Overall, the cookies are kind of pricey. But I indulge every once in a while. I also really like the cookie sandwiches because I love icing. R A T I N G One star off because on occasion their cookies can be a little bit overcooked and they'll still sell it to you like that.

Who doesn't love a warm cookie in the middle of the night? Stumbled across this place and I must say that between the location and the patrons, I found my experience pleasant. So as a yelper it's my duty to ask folks in line what their favorite cookie is and I got all types of recommendations however I came for the salted caramel and everything else was just extra. I ordered 3 cookies - salted caramel, snicker doodle and s'mores and was told snicker doodle was not available and I could sub any other cookie - so I went with the confetti that folks in the store highly suggested. Got my cookies and under pressure I was told to try the confetti first. Now I'll admit I wasn't expecting a warm soft cookie but this was basically what I expected - a cookie with sprinkles - and a little unexpected - white chocolate chunks but at most it was good but this is your favorite cookie? Next I dipped into the s'mores - now this girl loves chocolate but this was a lot, like bam, take this chocolate! I proceeded to the salted caramel and I was in heaven. I actually made everyone sitting in the store take a piece to sway them to the dark side of what a delicious cookie they had been missing out on. Apparently I'm hooked on deluxe cookies cause my 3 cookies came out to almost $10. However when you feel like sourcing on yourself this is a great treat.

Amazing, sweet, decadent and warm delicious cookies! My husband and I were out for a quick stroll downtown and ran into this place. 4 ordered the four pack with a brownie and ice cream. The server was very nice. Lots of customers and the smell is so good. Just the right amount of sweet after lunch. Try them you will love them!

I tried the vegan cookies n creme and was not at all disappointed. Really good stuff y'all. I'm definitely going back to try their other vegan flavors! However, they didn't have a single vegan cookie at the counter when I ordered, so I was told to wait 12 minutes for it. When I went to pick up the cookie, there was a huge line and no staff member to be seen. It took awhile but it was worth the wait.

The cookies are good!!! Price for the sz of the cookies are questionable, but if I was near them and another cookie shop was far away...Insomnia it is!!! Just wouldn't be my number 1 choice in the entire DFW

My first visit I ordered the lil dipper combo that comes with icing of your choice as a dipping. The icing with the cookies were a little overkill for me, but the cookies by themselves are amazing! My most recent visit, I ordered the chocolate chunk cookie, double chocolate chunk cookie, and the snickerdoodle and they all came out warm and delicious. Definitely planning to tinker around with orders and get ice cream as a topping next time.

Great place for a sugar rush or for those who crave a late night snack (hence the name). We did wait a while in line but it was 1am in Deep Ellum and everyone came here after a night of partying as did we! The cookies were delicious. I got the white chocolate macadamia and the red velvet. So warm and soft. It satisfied our sweet tooth!

So, I came to Insomnia Cookies at 2:20 on Wednesday 11/22/23 in the afternoon and was waiting for like 5 min just to see the employee come out of the bathroom. I asked if I could use the bathroom, after a long pause he says I just came out of there, soooo I can't explain it right now. I just walked out. My husband ordered cookies and he gave him the wrong cookies. He went back inside and the employee says so like what do u want me to do... change them. Duh?! Is he HIGH? Was he smoking in the bathroom? Just like so spacey...

great place to grab dessert after dinner or drinking or both! the night that i went their register wasn't working though and we had to place our order online. total hassle to enter all the pick up and credit card information online when you should be able to just do it instore. there were a ton of people ordering cookies, so the wait took a bit. my friends and i had some time to walk around, grab a sake bomb next door and buy a bottle of wine across the street. the only bonus was that you get bonus free mini chocolate chip cookies with a online order!

Cookie sandwich was pretty good. But the cashier and person making the sandwich were clearly not happy with each other. They kept messing up orders then throwing them away aggressively. After I got my very messy ice cream sandwich. I went to wash my hands that were covered in sticky ice cream. Was told that the room marked bathroom isn't a bathroom, but a storage closet. So no way to wash my hands. For that alone I will not be back.

Can't go wrong with Insomnia Cookies! Was surprised to find the franchise all the way in Dallas! I love the fact that they now cater to vegans and have a whole 3 cookie flavors to choose from makes me so happy! My favorite is the sugar sprinkle cookie. I hope they plan to add more!

We stopped in to get a treat while waiting for our food order from Slutty Vegan (which is across the street), and we were delightfully surprised to meet Diamante who was so knowledgeable and friendly! He truly brightened our day and made us laugh. We ordered the s'mores, salted caramel and triple chocolate chip cookies. They were delicious! Big, moist, warm and tasty. While the cookies were fantastic, Diamante truly made us feel special and made our experience wonderful. The peanut butter ice cream is a MUST try too. So so good. The shop seems more for pickup orders but I think there is a small section for seating. So glad we stopped in. Thanks Diamante!!!

Cookies here are always so good. Service is quick and friendly and parking is typically a breeze if you're in and out.

Walked in and kandi was very eager to greet us and take our order...very knowledgeable about the inventory and recommended some GREAT options for my 1st time...we had an issue with 3 of our cookies and her and Pri took care of it IMMEDIATELY...no questions and with a smile...will definitely be coming back

Cookies were fresh, warm and a great flavor‼ but the service was more amazing we love to try new places and cookies have our heart and Insomnia was just what we needed. The staff member, Melly made our day and was absolutely so pleasant, sweet and funny. Love the variety they offered.

Took my niece here for a birthday cookie (18th), Amelia picked up on the special trip and snuck in the back to return with a surprise birthday cookie- cake constructed on the spot. She and her colleague were so sweet and made my niece feel so special -- and the cookies were amazing. Y'all made our night one to remember, thank you for the sweets and service !

Went on April 8th, Friday evening around 10:30. Staff was great. They deserve a raise for caring so much about the establishment.

Don't shop here, even though the cookies were good. Rude customer service. Just bought six cookies and needed the restroom. Which children just came out of the rude lady told me the restrooms where not available to the public. Basically she did not want me in there to use the restroom just my money. Me and my brother took a trip for the first time to insomnia cookies because we heard about the awesome deal they are doing for 2021 grads. My brother is graduating highschool and because he brought his cap and gown, he got a free 6 pack of cookies with any purchase. We purchased one cookie and got 6 free. We ordered the chocolate chunk, white macadamia, snickerdoodle, oatmeal raisin, and mint chocolate chip. I think my favorite had to have been the chocolate chunk, cause I'm a sucker for a classic chocolate chip. The cookies were similar to the one you get at a grocery store, except they were super soft and warm!

I have been to insomnia twice now and both times they lady at the counter was super friendly and very very nice. I get the gluten free chocolate chip cookies as they are in fact the BEST chocolate chip gluten free cookies in dallas. the cookies are HOT and FRESH.... check them out

I rebuke all negative reviews for Insomnia Cookies! BE GONE THOTS. I come here way too often than necessary and have never encountered rude staff - considering this one is located in a highly trafficked area that is Deep Ellum, that's saying a LOT. Also, I have yet to try a cookie I didn't like. I love them all equally (except Oatmeal raisin - those are for the heathens). After a drunken evening, i find comfort in a warm, freshly baked cookie from Insomnia. When it's that time of the month, I find comfort in a warm, freshly baked cookie from Insomnia. When it's raining I find comfort... you get the point. Here's what I've tried and LOVED: - Vegan cookies & creme. Please never ever stop making these. - Vegan Chocolate chunk - regular chocoloate chunk - double chocolate mint (tastes like crimis. CHRISTMAS if you didn't get that Vine reference). - S'mores. I dream about this one. The cookies are a decent size and always cooked fresh. A bonus that they offer amazing Vegan friendly options. If you're thirsty, they have milk available (from a cow, not an oat or almond). I know, i was missing that alt. milk tbh. Parking - it's deep ellum. Expect parking to be limited and to pay unless the gods look favorably upon you.

The Fresh cookie with ice cream is an awesome idea. Cool place(Deep Ellum) has patio seating and it was just delicious. Only thing I would change is the cashier, I can tell he hated his job. I had snickerdoodle with coconut ice cream.

Service from Diamonte was phenomenal. I don't normally eat sweets, today was the exception. Thank you for being a light during an already wonderful day.

Welp-- none of that matters-- in person the guy behind the counter was rude. Good thing I tried in person. My reviews get the most stars according to customer service. Like. Fast food chain-- you know the food-- and here, I know the cookies, but the rudeness willl help me stick to my diet way better. I'm all about service because everyone wants top dollar and top tip. I'm not paying for rudeness.

We were extremely let down by cookies this time. We waited in line for about 20 mins although the gentleman taking our order was very polite. The cookies were not fresh and the ordering process was very confusing. I must add the cookies tasted horrible and they were very cold. Don't get me wrong Insomnia cookies are amazing but at this specific location they definitely crumbled...

This spot was pretty okay. The cookies were very warm crunchy outside soft inside. The macadamia nut cookie was very good as well as the classic chocolate chip. It's cool that you can get a combo with two cookies and a drink of choice (ours was chocolate milk). Worth a try if you have a sweet tooth.

Man, oh, man. These cookies were so good. I tried the Pineapple and White Chocolate cookie and it was AMAZING. I wish it wasn't seasonal, I would literally go there every day to get these cookies.

Look, the cookies taste good (when they're warm) and they're a bit expensive which I don't mind- but I have an issue when delivery takes way too long. I live pretty close to the store (think 5-10 min drive) but I'm often too busy to actually drive there so I pay extra for delivery. Each time I have ordered, they take over an hour to get here. Once they took over 2 hours to deliver and the cookies were cold. Twice they ended up cancelling my order. Honestly, it's starting to not be worth shelling out extra money for delivery when it takes so long to get here. If you have the munchies, prepare to wait a while before that gets satisfied.
