Insomnia Cookies

The cookies were nice and warm. Compared to other Insomnia stores their cookies are cold and hard. My peanut butter cup deluxe was delicious as always! Thank-you to the night people and for always having a smile when I come in:)

Came here not so long ago, and I never leave reviews, but these cookies were so delicious! And their hospitality was amazing, I believe her name was Sara, made me feel welcomed! Love will be back soon .

This place should be taken off of Uber Eats. I waited 20 minutes after the max delivery window only to get the wrong order. I had a deluxe smores and deluxe pb cup and they sent me a couple random regular cookies. I immediately called the store who apologized and said they were sending the correct cookies right away…I was polite, patient, understanding, and if that had actually happened like they promised, there wouldn’t be this review. I waited up for 2 MORE HOURS past 2am on a work night, and they NEVER came!!!! I’m pissed! I continually checked for them and they never arrived! They never checked in with me on the arrival. What a disaster. All I want are my cookies 😭! im down several hours of sleep and im in a terrible mood. It sucks because the cookies are great but the service is abysmal. I’m never getting my cookies am I????

I order cookies from INSOMNIA Cookies , “website” NOT DoorDash . . . Mind you I’m in a wheelchair can cannot move around without my nurse and she obviously took off for the night . . I’m getting a call around 1:14 AM , and hour and 20 mins later AFTER my order , it’s from the driver explaining since he can’t get inside he will be leaving my cookies just anywhere , on the ground. I have security all around the building. My simple instructions clearly STATES, “Ask security to let you in… and they will” . How disgusting and trifling you have to be to just leave someone’s PAID food , laying on the ground. I am not a dog , nor a peasant. I called the store to notify them of this unprofessional experience I had with their driver . He was extremely rude, impatient and disgustingly just wanting to get to his next drop off order , with doing a half ass job to deliver my order. Insomnia store telling me, they used DoorDash delivery drivers to send my order off. Like how dumb is that . If I wanted to use an incompetence service I would’ve called DoorDash myself. Like why am I up paying for cookies through insomnia website just to be dealing with idiot dashers from door dash.

Went there after dinner to try the cookies. They were warm and soft. Loved the s'mores cookie. We ate them right away and never got to take pictures. We went to the store and West Hollywood which is far from our house, but we just discovered that there's one a lot closer so we will be going back.

7 January time 10:11pm, here working girl, She deliberately withheld my order, even though I could see that it was already ready, but when I asked about it, she hid the order, pretending that it wasn't ready yet. Need appreciate time drivers and customer, Because I'm waiting for this order, and someone else is waiting for it too; we are both waiting for this order. That was very sarcastic.

Not my favourite. The actual service was slow, took a long time considering there was two people ahead of us. The idea of insomnia cookies is kind of cool, I like the ice cream sandwich idea and wouldn’t be opposed to trying and ice cream topped brownie or such. However their chocolate chip is not what I enjoy. It tastes not much different than a heated up grocery cookie. The crust itself was over baked/stiff; I like them slightly soft and underbaked. I also do not enjoy semi sweet chocolate chips. These are flat cookies. The snickerdoodle was actually perfect; however They’re not what I would come here for. The deluxe peanut butter cup though was a 10/10. The service was meh. The fact their cookies wouldn’t meet my cookie craving is a reason why I won’t be back. The price point isn’t fantastic for what you get. If you like flat simple semi sweet chocolate chip cookies; there is hope for you yet.

I recently visited this place for the first time and decided to leave after waiting for the employee to take her time to show up at the counter and “help” me. When she finally showed up, I told her that it was my first time there, so I wasn’t familiar with the process (I only knew they had cookies). I was expecting her to explain something or at least greet me, but she didn’t. I repeated my question, and her response was, “So, how can I help you?” I was going to answer “by explaining me anything about the products you sell”… I didn’t want to be rude, so I said “it’s fine, I’m not ordering anything” and left. I went to Pavillions instead.

I love this place. The cookies are delivered all warm and gooey with melted chocolate!

Dreams come true at Insomnia cookies! I love that the chocolate chip cookie is served warm. It was large enough to share and it was delicious. We really enjoyed our warm cookie. Located in a mini mall with Pavilions and Starbucks. Plenty of outdoor parking. No tables and chairs. A takeout only place. Vegan and gluten free options. They also serve ice cream!

The cookies and ice cream are delicious, but pricey. They are always fresh and still warm which I greatly appreciate. The staff was friendly and efficient. The store clean and well-maintained. I love that they always have seasonal specials so there is always something new to try. Great option if you're looking for a sweet treat in the area!

Service was good but let's be honest crumbl is 100% WAY better and anyone who says otherwise got the least sophisticated taste and should get their cookies from McDonald's.

A whopping $4.75 a cookie ! Cookie comes off a hot plate so it's nice and warm for you. It was good but there wasn't anything special to it.

We came on a Saturday day night. It is pretty crowded because it's right in weho. But it's good because it open late. All the flavors we got were good! Just got creeped out because there was this Indian guy just inside the store not doing anything with his phone out. My fiancé felt uncomfortable. Just be careful with this in there and around.

Delicious, warm cookies. Open late. Can't go wrong, especially if you're already in the area. But also not a bad choice to make the 30 minute drive over from Long Beach lmfao. I'm a Cookie Monster, I couldn't help myself!!!

I love insomnia! Vegan chocolate chunk is the way to go. I had that yesterday. I came today for the vegan birthday cake and that's delicious also! Staff is super sweet but what is up with that AC in this weather?? It's so hot inside I barely want to go in. Bad enough the ovens im sure are right in the back making it worse and it's a small shop on the corner. And on top of that it's 105+ degrees in LA currently. I feel horrible for the staff. They need a fan or something to keep them cool. I'll come back next time that's fixed I want to try some new flavors! Please keep me updated!

Forget crumbl. This is a great place for a cookie. Not too big. Ice cream sometimes melted so go in person. Actually the ice cream was melted in the store once too I think but usually the in-store experience is good

Came here for the GF chocolate chip cookies. I really like them as they have a pretty good texture but was a little uncooked to me which is the reason for the 4 stars. The next day the cookie was perfect as it was able to sit for a little while. Totally recommend for my GF people. Wish they was a wider selection of flavors for GF but still good.

I've been wanting to try insomnia cookies since my trip to NY a few years ago. I'm not sure how long this location has been around but I was excited to find out it's here in SoCal! All the cookies are really fresh and good! The customer service is wonderful. I called today to ask to change the delivery date and time and the gentleman on the phone was so friendly and helpful!

Been here a few times and I can say it's never too late for cookies! Tried a few options including the gluten free chocolate chip, the vegan birthday cake, then regular flavors like mixed berry, banana split, s'mores, m&m, and sugar cookie. Might seem pricey for cookies but well worth it. Not usually a sweets person but tried other "hyped" up cookie shops that only disappointed me lol. Insomnia cookies has some of the best cookies I've eaten on this planet :)

I'm so glad Insomnia has locations in LA! Back in Chicago it was one of my go to indulgent treats. And here it's right near the heart of WeHo and open until 2am! What a win for all the bars nearby. This particular location shares a lot with Von's so parking is usually easy to find. Beautiful, bright location with a good selection. I am a cookie connoisseur and haven't come across one from Insomnia I don't love. M&M Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle - they are done so well. Recipes are on point with perfect flavor and they are always baked just right. I've picked up in person and had delivery - they are great either way. This past weekend, my friend and I came by for some dessert and ended up being intrigued by the new ice cream options. We asked what they were and the staff explained so thoroughly and with such fervor that we couldn't help but get them. The Ice cream itself is bomb here! But the two new combos they do are creative and cool with cookie butter, ice cream, cookie bits, various topping options and topped off with more ice cream on top if you're smart. Obsessed. So glad to have an Insomnia in West Hollywood - tasty desserts, great staff, and responsible prices so I'll def be back.

Living in WeHo, I hear so much about this place. It was my first time trying IC and I was not disappointed. In fact I ordered the vegan double chocolate chip cookie along with a few other flavors and pint of chocolate ice cream, and the Vegan cookie was much better than I expected. Will definitely order again!! Highly recommend if you are craving something sweet especially late night, and they do delivery.

Love the vegan options. Good service. Good spot to get in and out late night. The regular chocolate chip was pretty good too. Snickerdoodle slaaaaaapped.

I've been going to this location since 2021 after moving to LA from the Phoenix area (Mesa/Tempe). Tonight I went in and asked for 1 vegan chocolate chip cookie. They gave me a vegan birthday cake cookie. The employees used to listen really well here. Not sure what's going on with this location now. This is the first time there's ever been an issue. This location is usually phenomenal. I'm bummed out as their vegan chocolate chip cookie is what I was craving after not eating for a few hours. If they don't have anymore vegan chocolate chip cookies I wish they would've just told me. Seems like communication would be easier than giving the wrong cookie? That way I could choose a different cookie without being forced. *shrug*

Nothing better on a cold rainy day than a warm fresh out of the oven cookie. My God it's like sitting in the kitchen at mom's house. The aroma of the cookies when you walk in so mouth watering I had to hold back from ordering each type of cookie. I got the double chocolate and it literally melted in my mouth. Employees behind the counter were so friendly and we had great side conversations! I now understand what the hype is all about. The outside of the cookie is perfectly cooked, not too crispy, and the inside just melts and is warm in temperature. I will be back to try every single flavor. Did not disappoint!

Got a cheesecake brookie and some type of peach cobbler cookie. Both were just okay. I wasn't blown away but my guests were. Maybe they should write this review instead of me. This place is in the vicinity of a large majority of OONTZ OONTZ music type clubs so if you're wasted or still vibing off a club high or other high I can see how someone would love this place and probably have better things to say. Nevertheless I wasn't high and had the munchies or anything I just had a sweet tooth and again it was just okay.

Cold, hard cookie. i've been hearing about this place for a while and decided to finally try it out. Very underwhelming and expensive. Im not sure if they're supposed to taste a certain way, but it just tastes like an average cookie you'd make from a package at home. service was OK

This was my second time visiting and I'm finally making my review! I must start by saying, the cookies must be good if I travel from Torrance to West Hollywood for them! I love that they are open late, hints the name, but it makes a great stop for a late night sweet tooth. Cookies are usually warm and fresh and that's a plus in my book. They always have a good selection and even a good amount of vegan cookies! My favorites are the s'mores and peanut butter cup cookies. The deluxe cookies do come out too $4 each but somehow I still go for those lol I do not know why places are not big on customer service lately but I feel as if service should match what your company sells. And to me cookies are a happy thing so why not be happy?! But no matter what I will most likely be back to try new flavors and to get my favorites.

I came here last night and ordered a cookiewich with cookie dough ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies. The cookies were so delicious, soft, and chewy!! It was so satisfying and was the perfect dessert. There were two gentlemen working last night and one of them was so friendly and peppy which also made it a great experience!

Perfect for middle of the night munchies. I often have them deliver. It always satisfies my craving

Ordered these for my daughters birthday and she LOVED them! She ate them all and still talks about how good they were a month later. I had them delivered since I'm in TX and they were right on time. Very happy and will be ordering more in the future.

Was craving soft cookies and was so excited to see that there was an Insomnia Cookies here in West Hollywood as I haven't had any since a nostalgic midnight run on the east coast. Got a dozen for about $23 and split between my sister and dad. I got the chocolate chunk, snickerdoodle, and peanut butter. The peanut butter cookie was a little bit on the harder side, but both the snickerdoodle and chocolate chunk were so soft and delicious. Not too sweet compared to Mrs. Field's cookies. They're not the best cookies ever but it was nice to enjoy these again and they certainly can satisfy your cookie craving!

I visited here April 7 strolling around WEHO with one of my besties- I KNEW about this place bc I heard it was a hit in New York, had no idea we had it in Cali! I tried the og chocolate chunk and I think my friend got Birthday Cake? something like that with hella sprinkles. I would say they're REALLY GOOD, like fresh, warm, but not the best. The price is a little high, especially with the size that was given, just a little small imo. However, I would go here again for a late night dessert craving. It's not the best cookie I've ever had, but it's up there. They earn bonus points from me since they open up late. We need MORE dessert places open late after long nights of drinking LOL

Delicious cookies in the heart of West Hollywood! Parking is in the back by the Pavilions. Due to Covid there was a line outside but glad to see them adhering to safety guidelines. The young lady at the register was a doll and gave me suggestions on various flavors to taste- and every single one was delicious!

Placed an order today that never arrived. When I called asking the status of my order, I was told to call the driver because "once it leaves the building, it's no longer [their] responsibility". I will never use this service again with this level of customer service. Which is unfortunate because I really enjoyed Insomnia Cookies. Never again.

First time at insomnia cookies! I've heard so much about this place over the years but I've never been able to come. Each regular cookie is about $2.25, and the deluxe is slightly more. They have deals if you get 4 deluxe cookies or 6 regular cookies, and some various combinations of that as well. The person who helped us was very nice and patient, my friends and I couldn't make up our minds with all their flavors! It seems like a great place for a midnight snack. There's a pavilions next door you can park at as well.

These cookies are better than Crumbl in my opinion, especially if you prefer a chewier cookie rather than a cakey cookie. We got the cookie sandwich with the Hot Coco (Seasonal) & the S'mores with Cookies & Cream Ice cream. They use Thriftys ice cream from RiteAid! The cookies were soo soft & the edges chewy. The Hot Coco was a must & pretty similar to the Smores but try the Hot Coco!! The staff here were super nice & helpful even when we came in towards closing.

YUM YUM YUM! Got my cookies delivered at 11:21 by 11:31 my dad and I had finished off all 6! Still warm!!!!! Gooey center and crisp yet moist edge these cookies are amazing! Cookie rating : Oatmeal 100/10 dad said maybe the best for sure one of the best Snickerdoodle 9/10 tiny more cinnamon sugar Double chocolate mint 50/10 White choc macadamia 50/10 a lot of white chocolate so creamy M&M 9/10 Vegan birthday cake 50/10 so so so good couldn't tell it was vegan!

Kind of amazing that this ad popped up on my Instagram around 1250 am and by 110 I had warm cookies at my door. They're so good and hit the spot

It was Monday, May 29, 2023 (Memorial Day), approximately 7p. The service was great! The 2 employees that were there to assist were fantastic. The reason I held out on giving 5 stars wasn't because the cookies & ice cream weren't absolutely delicious, which they most certainly were . It was because the system was down and the only way you could place an order was to go online and order them. That was 100% annoying, and that alone was the only annoying reason that I held back on that last star. Btw, it is also more expensive to purchase through the Yelp app than to go directly through Insomnia's website...I checked both, trust me. Nerve-racking that I couldn't just walk-in and purchase what I wanted. Next time, when the system is UP, and everything else is on par like it was this day, then I'll gladly offer 5 stars. Still definitely a place to visit on your next cheat day!!

PHENOMENAL service from the employees, going out of their way to make sure your order is the best it can be. red velvet cookies were the best, in my opinion. definitely recommend.

Found this place searching for cookies near work, so happy they offer online ordering & delivery!!! The chocolate chip cookies are phenomenal, SO SO SO soft and good! My co-workers and I loved these mini cookies so much we ordered twice within 2 hours HAHAHA. They come fast, warm, and ready to eat! I had 11 mini cookies in one sitting...worth the calories! The cookies are not that sweet and price is very reasonable.

This was my first time trying insomnia cookies and I just want to start off by saying I would have gave this place a higher rating if I were judging based solely on the cookies. However since I am rating the whole experience the customer service was dirt awful and made me drop the rating to a 2. Last night my friends and I wanted late night cookies and we all never tried Insomnia so we decided let's try it! We called in because we were going late but still would be getting there 20 minutes before closing. The lady we spoke with over the phone asked us where we were and what city we were coming from even after we told her we would be getting there with 20 minutes to spare. She already started giving attitude over the phone which wasn't necessary because we were holding her back from leaving home early if her shift ends 20 minutes AFTER we would be getting there. We got there and she didn't greet us but just started naming off nearly every single cookie and said they were all out so we kindly asked what cookie they did have available because she spoke so fast. I understand she wants to go home but we were being kind and it's still her working shift and getting paid so there's no reason she needed to give us SOOOO much attitude. Every time we asked a question she made SUCH a big deal about it and ruined our whole experience honestly. Since we were getting a box of cookies there were only a couple cookie options available which SHE SAID included double chocolate chip, M&M or Mint chocolate chip. We ordered 4 double chocolate chip & 2 M&M and she came out of the back saying there was only 1 M&M left so she gave us a regular chocolate chip cookie... However that was never an option she offered us in the first place otherwise we would've got regular chocolate chip. Insomnia needs to hire a new worker because she probably treats other customers the same way and putting a bad rep on Insomnia cookies because I'd never go back with that kind of service. Double Chocolate Chip: We each got this cookie and everyone had a different opinion. I really enjoyed it because it was extremely sweet and tasted similar to a brownie which I love. I like how the chocolate chunks were melted thats the best. I know these would be delicious warm but then again we went late so we didn't expect warm cookies. The crust was crunchy/hard and the middle was nice, soft and gooey. M&M: The M&M had different reactions amongst my friends as well. It was sweet, thick and soft. It tasted more like a sugar cookie because of how thick it was. This one is a hit or miss but there are definitely better options on the menu. It was good for a couple bites but not my favorite. Chocolate Chip: The chocolate chip was a classic. It was soft in the middle and that's my favorite type of cookie. You definitely will need milk with these cookies because of how sweet they are.

It was eh. The cookies were eh. The service took hours. I won't order again. Kind of a hung disappointment. The lady that delivered was super sweet though.

Yummy! Cookies & ice cream you can't go wrong! The cookies are all different mix & match top & bottom of the ice cream sandwich- all kinds of flavors... yummy!!!

If you are gonna charge $4 for a cookie, it should be an out of the world cookie! I appreciate that this place is open so late, but the cookies are pretty plain and simply not worth the price - they taste a lot like grocery store cookies. The ice cream selection is pretty small, too.

First time here! Super friendly team working late night. Came here at 12:30 am. I got the classic wich. Initially, I thought it would just be a nice regular sized ice cream cookie sandwich. After receiving the order, I realized that it is not no ordinary ice cream cookie sandwich as it was massive! I ended up not eating it like a sandwich, instead I had to use a spoon due to the size of the dessert. It is pricey but you do get a good amount of ice cream with 2 decent sized cookies. I wasn't TOO big of a fan of the cookies but they were good. I will definitely come back here for late night sweets.

The cookies were literally delicious and it smells so good immediately when you walk in there. The sweet girl who was working the late night shift with all the bad a** piercings, what is literally so nice & gorgeous, she made me and my friends entire night. I would definitely recommend going there.!!

These cookies are consistently amazing and even taste incredible the next day! These cookies are moist, chewy, crispy and loaded with lots of goodies. My fiance and I get delivery from here whenever we need a little treat! Favorites are: white macadamia, confetti, double chocolate chunk and walnut oatmeal chocolate chip.

Upon entering, you get a huge whiff of fresh delicious cookie smell. The cookies come out warm gooey and delicious. I was so excited to see they had so many different vegan and plant-based flavors especially for vegan January. They also had a special event of buy one get one cookies so you know I had to get some. My favorite cookie was definitely the vegan birthday cake cookie as it had a very subtle sugar cake flavor to it. The runner-up would be the chocolate chip cookie because I mean who doesn't love a classic chocolate chip cookie. The everything cookie was quite interesting and definitely my least favorite. It just had too many flavors. The banana bread cookie tasted like fresh banana bread and the flavor of chocolate wasn't too overpowering. I ordered ahead of time and the cookies were ready within 15 minutes. I definitely can't wait to come back and hopefully next time they have some vegan ice cream flavors so I could order a vegan ice cream sandwich. The store was very clean and the staff was also very friendly. They had a big sign about Vegan January which was pretty cool because not every store participates in this.
