Diner Staple Norms Is Doing a 70-Cent Pancake Breakfast Deal This Month - Eater LA

"Speaking of Beer, there’s a big beer garden party happening at the InterContinental in Beverly Hills on October 13. Expect the $60 per-person party to feature live music and unlimited beer and food in the afternoon out in the garden." - Farley Elliott

I had the worst experience with Intercontinental hotel staff. I was not happy with the room, I walked in and out, did not use anything nor even sat on the bed. I went to inform them, first of all, the reception staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. I told them I am not happy with my room and would like to check out. Didn’t like the hotel at all, instead of them offering me another room to see, they were extremely rude and would not even offer to speak to management, and they are refusing to refund my money. This is the MOST horrible experience i have ever had with a hotel and I have stayed in many places. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

In 2016, surveillance footage from this property showed Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs brutally attacking Cassie Ventura in the hallway. Instead of protecting the victim or alerting authorities, this hotel allegedly accepted 50k from Sean for footage. If you’re a woman staying here especially a woman of color ask yourself: will they protect you, or protect the abuser? Safety should not be for sale!

The elevator system was super complicated. I know it's for security but did not like it. What if someone has an emergency. And valet was super slow called them 40 mins feom my room to get my car amd my car was not there. They charged a lot for valet.

Best hotel so far. Service efficient and courteous, the concierge Rosy organized for us excellent tours. Breakfast was amazing : food excellent ,the staff could not be better. Great espresso ! . We had dinner at the restaurant : great, everything we ordered was perfect and our two waiters made us feel the most important people there . The bar makes great coctails! Our room was very comfortable, clean and with a wonderful view over LA,the area is very safe. Overall has been a wonderful experience

Stayed here for a business trip so I didn't make use of all the services but my stay was very comfortable. The rooms are nice and clean and I slept great. I was really impressed with the housekeeping. The house car was really handy for getting around the local places. Very nice, professional staff. Looking forward to my next trip.

The service was perfect; not annoyingly over polite, but still very helpful. My room was actually upgraded to an executive suite at no extra cost and the room was incredible. It had a tub, shower, 2 balconies, huge couch, all that. The downstairs breakfast buffet is completely worth the cost ( not free, by the way, but completely worth it). The location is also pretty nice. My only complaint was that the bathroom is downright hideous. It needs to be remodeled in the worst way. It has peach marble tiles and counter tops that are totally outdated. The shower is also small. One note, this hotel appeals to a sort of older, high classish type of crowd, of which I do not really fit in (as a 20-something computer programmer), but they treated me well just the same.

We had a great time here. Stayed 3 nights. 16/17 floor. Great view. Spent most of our time out and was traveling with my family so didn't get to enjoy the bar, which looked lively with plenty of young professionals. Was too cold for pool, so cannot comment on that. Had room service once for breakfast, which was excellent. Staff super friendly, personable, and helpful. Parking is $38/day.

Yelp
The glass lounge is a small private room at the InterContinental Century City Hotel. The space is pretty because it is all glass windows and looks out at the yard of the hotel. This is not a restaurant or anything but a space you can rent out for events. The space is good for a smaller, intimate gathering of maybe 20-30 people or less. It is not a huge space. There's not really parking in the area so your guests would have to pull up to the valet which is something to consider if you don't want your guests to have to pay for parking. At the event I went to, they had an open bar in the corner and a small table of hors d'oeuvres on the opposite end. The waiters also walked around with more hors d'oeuvres. They put two tall tables in the middle where you can stand with your food. They also have a very comfy couch. The room is on the first floor of the hotel, near where you check in. It was a lovely private space and I would definitely suggest it for smaller gatherings. Lovely service and beautiful food presentation. The event I went to was entirely vegetarian so, they do cater to some dietary preferences.
