A Truly Exceptional Stay – World-Class Service & Serene Luxury||We had a wonderful stay at InterContinental Phuket Resort, and while the location may not be the liveliest, everything else more than made up for it.||The resort is tucked away in a quieter part of Kamala, next door to Café Del Mar — but impressively, no noise filters through. For those craving a bit more action, the Bangtao and Surin areas are just a short 10–15 minute ride away.||Now to the highlight of our stay: the service. I cannot praise the staff enough — every single team member we encountered greeted us with a warm, genuine smile. This was true Thai hospitality at its finest. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and not once did we sense any hesitation or reluctance to help. The staff here are a standout and truly elevate the resort experience.||We were generously upgraded to a pool access room, which added so much joy to our stay. With at least four pools on the property, we were spoiled for choice. The beach, just a short buggy ride away (easily arranged by dialling "0" on the intercom), was stunning — peaceful, clean, and uncrowded. It offered the perfect backdrop for truly relaxing moments.||The rooms were impeccable — spacious, elegantly designed, and meticulously maintained. Housekeeping was excellent, with turndown service and the option for additional cleaning upon request.||In short, InterContinental Phuket is a serene oasis offering world-class service, luxurious comfort, and genuine hospitality. If you're after a restful getaway with every need taken care of, this is the place to be.

Just got back from a stay at Intercontinental Phuket Resort and honestly, I’m already missing it! The place is absolutely beautiful – the design, the vibe, everything feels so calming and luxurious without being too over-the-top. The staff were super friendly and attentive, always smiling and happy to help with anything. The food? Amazing. Every meal was delicious, especially the breakfast – so many options and everything tasted fresh and well-made. We also had dinner by the beach, and the view of the sunset while eating was just perfect. Special shoutout to the lovely staff who made our experience even better – At Pinto, Sa, Mam, Nid, Dear, Preaw, Ball, and Fai took such great care of us during breakfast. And in the evening, Janny, Q, Ain, Stang, and Mas were all so friendly and attentive. Everyone was warm, smiling, and always ready to help – we truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. 💛 And speaking of the beach – the view is next level. Crystal clear water, soft sand, and just such a peaceful atmosphere. It’s one of those places that makes you feel like you’re really on vacation. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with great service, great food, and a beautiful ocean view.

We stayed here for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property. As mentioned in other reviews, the resort is divided into two sides, but we didn’t find the split to be an issue at all. The grounds are truly beautiful, and while the room layout is a bit unique, we found it charming and comfortable. The beds, in particular, were very comfortable, which made for restful nights. The service was excellent throughout our stay. The front desk staff went above and beyond when we needed medical assistance due to an upset stomach—they quickly connected us with a nearby clinic and ensured we had what we needed. They also helped us locate a reliable laundry service, which we really appreciated. One point of constructive feedback: the resort has a policy of no outside food or drink in the pool area near the beach. We had brought smoothies from a nearby café and were told we couldn’t enjoy them at our chairs, but could step just a few feet away to the tree line. While we understand the policy, it felt a bit rigid given the location’s distance from other options (about a 5–10 minute walk each way). That said, our overall experience was very positive. The property is just as described—relaxing, scenic, and well-maintained. We would happily return.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Intercontinental Phuket! Everything from check-in to check-out was superb! Staff were beyond helpful, polite, efficient, and most importantly always smiling! The food was always great, and the hotel itself had such a lovely ambiance. The architecture/decor was unique and stunning and the villa was spacious and very comfortable. And the pool at the villa was a great size too for a private pool! Massive thanks and shout out to Kevin, Shina & Honey and all the staff at the Club Lounge, as well as May in the concierge! All her recommendations for excursions and restaurants etc were spot on! Matty in the Pine Bar restaurant also deserves huge praise and thanks, as he met us the first night at dinner, and remembered our names for the duration of the stay and was always super helpful and smiley! Overall we are leaving with smiles & great memories made here… and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel!

We just finished a 6-night stay and had a wonderful experience! A special thank you to **Bee** at the **International and Pinto Restaurant**—she was incredibly kind, attentive, and made every meal feel extra special. Her warm service really stood out. The **concierge and the entire team** were also fantastic throughout our stay—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The hospitality we received made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommend this place for both the great food and the amazing service. Thanks again to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable!

Our overall experience at the hotel was mixed. While there were some thoughtful touches and kind gestures, several aspects left room for improvement. Staff Knowledge: We felt that both the massage therapists and the reception staff could benefit from more training and knowledge to better assist guests. 2. Room Maintenance Issues: In our room, the minibar was not working and the wardrobe light was faulty. Although we reported both issues, only the minibar was repaired during our stay. 3. Slow Room Service: Room service was quite slow. Additionally, for any request, you are required to dial “0” and wait for it to be arranged, which can take a while. I would have expected some essential amenities to already be available in the room, such as a dental kit, paper and pen, shaving kit, sewing kit, or bath foam. 4. Evening Entertainment: The events held on the beach in the evenings were not up to the standard one would expect from a five-star hotel. 5. Bar Options: Apart from the Pine Bar, we couldn’t find any other bar near the poolside or in the lobby area. Having more bar options would definitely enhance the experience. Positive Notes: The hotel manager kindly arranged a complimentary treat for our special occasion, which we greatly appreciated. Additionally, if availability allows, they offer complimentary room upgrades, which is a nice touch.

The food in the buffet breakfast was amazing. All the staff Mam, Kwan, Dead, Yui, Ball, Tao, Dawut and Joe were all very efficient and always greeted me with a smile. Anything I ordered came quickly. My glass of water never got empty, the staff were always refilling. My empty plates got taken quickly once I was finished. Overall very good. I highly recommend.
