Where Philly’s Chinatown Community Leaders Go to Eat

"Go for the rousong, a pork floss bun that is one of Devon Stahl’s favorites. “The pork floss adds an addictive savory crunch to an unbelievably soft baked bun. It’s like eating a cloud,” she says. “There is a thin layer of mayonnaise to tie the whole thing together. Perfect for breakfast, to accompany lunch, or an afternoon snack.” The veggie and pork steamed bao is also quite excellent." - Diana Lu

While strolling through Philly’s Chinatown, my girlfriend and I stumbled upon a cozy bakery at just the right time—we were in desperate need of a coffee break. The iced coffees we got were exactly what we needed: strong, sweet, and fairly priced. Definitely a spot I can see myself revisiting soon!

Love the lady behind the counter! She is the sweetest person and always have a smile on her face whenever we come by! The buns are so good and freshly made! I love the soymilk here, the best and cheapest ever found in Philly! Please if you have a chance to swing by in Chinatown, come and give her a visit!!!! Literally everything is less than $5!!! You can venmo for payment as well !!!

My brother and I always come here for milktea. It’s cheap and yummy 😋 Update: It’s so sad that a lot of the bakeries I grew up with are gone now. Please please please support the small bakeries like this one. Their baked goods and drinks are a great snack to have while touring around Philly’s Chinatown. 🫶🏻

The best delicious baked goods in Chinatown and the nicest people who run this place! Even though it’s tucked away, it’s worth heading over to this place if you are craving HK styled baked goods. The people are friendly, inviting, and extremely helpful. Their baked goods are VERY generously sized and filled compared to the other Chinatown bakeries, everything is fresh - I walked in before 8 am and picked up my goods the chicken tart was still hot inside, I can see the kitchen where the stuff is being made which is reassuring. Delicious and reasonably priced, skip the pricier Chinatown bakeries and head here, you will not be disappointed and will want to come back. Thank you for the delicious baked goods! 非常喜欢肉松和鸡肉派,非常推荐给喜欢唐人街面包的人去这里。

This is my favorite place to sit down, drink hot Milo, eat egg tart or strawberry mousse cake. It's my mini dessert after eating a big Chinese lunch. They have really tasty bread and pastries. The workers here are so nice too.
