Food Guy Steve Dolinsky’s Final NBC Chicago Segment Will Air on May 29 | Eater Chicago

"An arena that serves as the home of the NBA’s Clippers and was cited as an example where Dolinsky could apply his knowledge of local food trends to refresh and elevate culinary offerings at a stadium-level operation handled by Levy." - Ashok Selvam

South Bay Breakfast Burrito Spot Phanny’s Is Opening in El Segundo | Eater LA

"The arena’s arrival last month made it Inglewood’s third major event venue alongside SoFi Stadium and the Kia Forum, and while one might expect nearby businesses to thrive from thousands of daily visitors, some owners report the opposite. Several small-business proprietors say the impact has been a net negative: Karolyn Plummer of Sweet Red Peach and others have described adverse effects, and Kenny Taitt of Kenny’s Q BBQ & More reports sales dropped due to ongoing construction. Business owners have appealed to the city for help, and the Inglewood mayor’s office released a statement saying it will try to address traffic and construction issues that have prevented locals and visitors from frequenting small businesses." - Matthew Kang

Gov. Newsom Approves 4 a.m. Last Call for a VIP Area Inside Intuit Dome | Eater LA

"I note that the 100-person members-only club at Intuit Dome—represented by Steve Ballmer’s company Murphy’s Bowl—has been granted a unique 4 a.m. last-call exemption, making it the only venue in the state allowed to serve alcohol that late; Ballmer said the extension was needed to boost a distinctive Los Angeles community that draws hundreds of thousands of sports fans each year. The decision has drawn scrutiny given Connie Ballmer’s $1 million donation to Gov. Newsom’s recall campaign and Murphy’s Bowl’s more than $700,000 in lobbying for looser alcohol-advertising rules and face-scanning ID technology, prompting critics on social media to call the move an example of corruption. Assemblymember Tina McKinnor has defended AB 3206 as including “numerous safeguards” and as adding entertainment to complement over $2 billion in private investment, and Newsom said he would direct the CHP to work with local officials to monitor DUI incidents around the site." - Matthew Kang

The Best Food Concessions at Intuit Dome, a $2 Billion Basketball Arena | Eater LA

"I found that, built from the ground up in Inglewood, the 18,000-capacity arena is being positioned as the most high-tech and expensive basketball arena in the world: a $2 billion sports and music venue with frictionless payments, up-close seating, a massive circular screen, and first-rate acoustics. Since most heavy work was completed by mid-June, the arena’s concession experience was completely reimagined — with two main prep kitchens, numerous commissaries, and 21 cooking stations distributed around the building so dishes are prepared close to fans rather than shipped from a few central commissaries. The club emphasized grab-and-go ordering so fans can buy quickly and return to seats without missing action (and Ballmer even touted an expanded number of toilets to limit bathroom waits). Concession pricing hasn’t been announced but will likely be market rate, with discounts such as a $5 hot dog for Chuckmark Certified members. The VIP clubhouse (courtside access required) feels like an expansive sports bar with freshly prepared small bites, two buffet-style kitchens with full pizza ovens, and a bar that can support up to 12 bartenders. The facility also features outdoor plazas with basketball courts and stepped seating meant to resemble Times Square, will host local vendors, and has been intentionally made available to the Inglewood and greater South LA community." - Matthew Kang

Gorgeous stadium that feels like an amusement park. There are a ton of amenities to enjoy at Intuit Dome whether you’re a basketball fan or not. I would recommend going to the stadium early so you can take your time and enjoy and see it all. We got there an hour early and it still wasn’t enough time. I can appreciate how much hard work and commitment that the organization has put into this stadium. It is a master piece. It is a newer stadium that has its flaws however. The ticketing app is not great and can result in you not getting your ticket in time for game time. The customer service team on site and virtual are not up to speed on what to do nor do they try hard to help out. The virtual customer service did not get back to me until 30 mins before tip off. They sent me to a section in the stadium that did not help me with my ticketing issues. It was a bit of a damper on my experience however I know that my experience is probably 1 out of 10. Just be careful and try to get there early to address this problem as well.

A brand new arena in Los Angeles, my family and I came here in November 2025, about a year after opening. We waited until they let people in so we chilled at the basketball court nearby. We went during a heritage night so we went straight in line, very easy process to pick up the jersey. Anyways we did a full lap around the arena, every store was walk in and walk out. During the game you could see the incredible technology. After every basket there were nice animations. It was cool to see all the stadium seats LED's when there was the starting lineups or when someone scored. This place would be rocking in the playoffs!

Probably the best arena to watch a sporting event I've ever been to. There are screens everywhere that show the game, stats, video review from 4 different angles and other high tech stuff. The "smart" seats know if you're cheering and you get credits on the app. They have chargers in the seats and during dead time, they play games where you use the buttons on the armrest to pick colors and play Candy Crush. The food and retail stores are super hi tech. I could go on and on, bottom line, Steve Balmer has created an incredible place to go if you like live events.

It's a very modern and well designed arena for sporting events and concerts that opened in 2024. It's situated in Inglewood, just 1.5 miles from the Forum and close to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The parking was very convenient and easy to find. Inside the arena, there are plenty of bars, restaurants, snack joints and souvenir shops. I was pleasantly surprised that the waiting lines almost everywhere inside the arena were short and fast moving. Their payments' system is very advanced or even futuristic. Also, there are numerous restrooms inside the arena, without long waiting lines. The lighting and sound systems in the arena are superb. Their huge circular infotainment screens inside the arena are simply amazing. We had a great experience there and really enjoyed the basketball game.

Visited the Intuit Dome for the first time to see BABYMETAL’s outstanding performance, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The layout of the venue is simple and easy to navigate, making the entire process, from parking to getting to my seat—fast and stress-free. The parking lot is spacious and directly connected to the stadium, which made arrival super convenient. I also appreciated the large TV viewing areas and the on-site “Answers Portal” by Ticketmaster for quick assistance. The staff and customer support were considerate and helpful throughout the night. Overall, the concert was phenomenal, and the Intuit Dome provided the perfect atmosphere for it. I’ll definitely be back for future events.

Absolutely loved my experience here, we went to the newly built arena and it is super cool. Everything is based off of FaceID or what the call GameFaceID, I didn’t even have to carry my card, food is taken care of by biometrics and then they just charge your card when the game is over. To enter there are multiple lines however the game face is the quickest with minimal communication with people. The chairs are super cool (they have built in USBC- USBC chargers) and buttons to play the interactive games on the Jumbotron. Everytime we made a basket, the chairs would all light up and I want to say there was a bit of haptic feedback as well. The food was alright for the most part (I had chicken and fries) and they were a bit stale from just sitting under the warmers (so for 19$ I’m not sure I would do that again) but for the most part every other part of the experience was impeccable, traffic was not as bad as you would have thought it would be leaving and finding parking isn’t that bad if you are okay with spending $60 to get park inside of one of the garages.

The Intuit Dome is so cool and insanely innovative. Super easy to get in and out — no long lines, no confusion, just smooth access from start to finish. We sat all the way at the top for a great price, and honestly the view was still amazing. The whole arena feels modern, comfortable, and built for fans. Definitely one of the best event experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend checking it out!

I absolutely detest this stadium and will never return for any reason. You need a faulty messy app for everything and provide way too much information. Went to see Babymetal. The security at the outer gates can be trigger happy and unnecessarily rude. If you bought tickets on Ticketmaster you can't use that app to gain entry. Every single person needs to download the stadium's app and upload the ticket (kids seemed to be the exception). That app also requires you sign away your rights to privacy and grant them access to way too much personal information. If you choose NOT to allow them rights to facial recognition, they delay your entry and still won't scan the app. They'll ask for your phone or email to find your ticket and let you in. Voicing personal contact information out loud is an absolutely dangerous thing especially if the wrong person overhears it. If you're in the terrace seats the steps are really steep and the huge screens overwhelm the view of the stage. The sections along the sides of the stage will likely also have cables interrupting the screen with the lightning rig further blocking the view. It's $8 for a 16oz can of water but free to refill at the water dispensers. The app will insist you enter your credit card WHICH ISN'T EVEN NECESSARY upon checkout at the bar. When exiting I highly recommend taking the side stairs or wait for the crowd to ease. The huge crush of people trying to simultaneously get to the escalators is scary. I'll grant this place a win for the sound and stage lighting but, overall, this is just an awful venue to really enjoy live music unless you're on the bottom most tier and willing to be monitored every single moment you're there.
