Google
This was by far one of my favourite movie theatres. The my had a full dining room and bar. As well as in movie dining service and drinks. The menu was infinite. The environment and staff were very accommodating. I highly recommended this place for dining and movie alike . I recommend trying the apps and entrees. 5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The theater is very nice and comfy. Our server was terrible. She didn't come and check in on us until towards the end of the movie, when she informed us that it was close to the time that they stopped taking orders. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the server. The staff at the door were very nice and professional

By far the nicest movie theater I have ever been to in my life. The price of the tickets is worth it given your private booth with blanket. You can order food and drinks right from your booth. The chair reclines as well. You can go just for food and drinks as it is a functioning restaurant and bar. Has the nicest bathroom I have ever been to as well. First class experience.

This Place! Wow! Nicest theater I ever ever been to! You have your own cubical, recliner and blanket! Food and drinks get brought to you!!! Loved this experience! Definitely uptown, we wore blue jeans shorts and tank tops and felt very under dressed but we didn’t care lol.

On this evening, I visited the theater with a friend to dine and watch a movie. After parking, I asked an employee for directions to the restroom, and he pointed to the right. As I walked toward the restroom, I was stopped by another employee, Mr. Williams Won, who informed me that I could not use the restroom unless I made a purchase. I explained that we intended to use the restroom before sitting at the bar, but Mr. Williams refused to allow us access. This was my first visit to an IPIC theater, and I have never encountered such a policy at other theaters. I requested to speak with the manager, but Mr. Williams claimed to be the manager and threatened to have security escort me out. Security was called, but fortunately, the situation did not escalate. Upon calling the theater after I returned home, I learned that Mr. Williams is not the manager and that Mr. Robert was the actual manager on duty. Mr. Robert apologized, but I believe this situation needs to be formally addressed at a higher level. Mr Williams is the man at the right service desk. Mr William is racist and a bigot.

IPIC Theatres is the epitome of luxury cinema. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with an upscale ambiance that elevates the movie-going experience. The seating options are where IPIC truly shines—reclining leather chairs with cozy blankets and pillows make you feel like you’re watching a movie in your own living room, only better. The theater layout is spacious and well-designed, ensuring unobstructed views no matter where you sit. The service is another standout feature. The staff is attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to any needs during the show. The in-seat dining option is a game-changer. The menu offers a variety of options and the convenience adds an extra layer of indulgence. While tickets and dining can be on the pricier side, the experience feels worth every penny for a special night out. IPIC Theatres combines the best elements of a fine dining restaurant and a movie theater, creating a one-of-a-kind entertainment destination. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their cinema outings.

If I could give this place half a star for service the gave I would. I had an entire cup of soy sauce spilled on me by a waiter who didn’t apologize. Left the food after he spilt the soy sauce all over the plate the table and my pants. Then proceeded to walk away like nothing happened. I thought about leaving but I stayed because of my cousin who came to see the film. Moments later another server spilled a drink on me. Now I have soy sauce and soda all over me. They offered me compensation which I declined because I don’t need their money I just really liked these pants that are now ruined due to a lack of brain power. I wouldn’t be so heated if the servers apologized but neither of them did. This staff is extremely poorly trained and lacks empathy or sympathy. You can’t win people over with money and free stuff if they just apologized and were genuine I’d probably still be watching the movie but we had no choice but to walk out. First and last time here at this disrespectful location. Just because you place a movie in a nice area and have nice seats doesn’t make it a good place. Being good people creates a organization. I hope you can learn that.

Yelp
Christmas Day was absolutely fantastic with "The Complete Unknown" at IPIC Houston. The employees were there on THEIR Christmas Day serving US...with the best food, constant check-ins, refills, etc. Let that sink in for a hot second... By the end of the movie, we were hugging every person. You will not be disappointed. One last thing, remember to say thank you, because the people that run this business deserve it. Customer service, food, kindness at its finest.

Yelp
It's still perfectly acceptable but has defintiely gone a bit downhill since it's been open. It's still a slightly better experience than a regular movie theater, but has fallen behind some of the similar dine-in options like Alamo Drafthouse. It may be in need of a revamp sooner rather than later Price: Being in the river oaks area it is a bit pricier for tickets. The food is priced reasonably though Food: They have the usual food fair. Everything is pretty good but nothing is particularly mind blowing to me. They have a button at each seat pairing to call your server. Each seat pair shares a table which can be a bit limiting depending on how you're ordering. Seats: The seats recline fully and you do get a blanket. The blankets are not as nice as when they first opened. I do love that they have a divider between each seat pair so you have a bit of separation between guests. Overall space: The space is starting to show its age with scuffs and cracks around. Especially noteworthy was the entry to the women's restroom no longer has a glass door and has a little black curtain hanging in it's place.

Yelp
This is not my first time going but definitely not my last. I love going here, from the ambiance to the hospitality. As soon as we walk in the staff is super welcoming and friendly. You have the option to go to the bar and eat & drink - which is so upscale, totally could come here just to get a drink. We went to go to see Lion King Pt. 2 - great movie btw - totes cried. We ended up ordering the Mozarrella Sticks, Chicken Wings (Lemon Pepper) , and the Filet Mignon Sliders. My boyfriend raves about the Mozzarella Sticks. You can't go wrong with the chicken wings either. This was my first time ordering the sliders & I totes regretted it. They sounded so good but when I got them they were super chewy and the steak took up like 1/2 the slider so there was just bread at points. The sweet potato fries I was looking forward to so much were cold. I ended up returning my food & opting for my go to Chicken Caesar Salad - girl dinner - & a glass of Merlot. It was okay, hopefully next time I have a better food experience since I love coming here. Anyways - love this place. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Parking was easy and free and so was the access if you park in the garage off Bettis. The theater was literally right there once you got to the first floor. Seats were nice and clean and you get a blanket. Couldn't get a picture of the food but the small popcorn was generous and the pretzels were baked and crispy and the dips delicious. Sounds crazy to get pretzels because they're usually blah to me but these were so good. Movie screen was clear and the sound was good. Chair was comfortable and I was in a fitted pleather dress with a belt and heeled boots so that should tell you something.

Yelp
Great place to enjoy an action movie with great food, drink and service! It was a great experience and we were all taken care of!!

Shatoyia N.

Yelp
First time at this theater and it did not disappoint. We reserved a 2 seat cubby. They gave us 2 blankets which was nice. It was perfect for us. The food and drinks were great. The staff were extremely nice. Definitely recommend.

Valencia H.

Yelp
Enjoyed full experience. Service food and seats were all great A little pricey but worth the experience at least once

Michaela J.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years, and always loved coming to the theater because it was something like you could get nowhere else in houston, an experience, but for sometime now (after covid hit) it has gone downhill. The blankets smell like they were washed in blue cheese, even whenever the attendant brought "new" blankets. Customer service is a hit or miss, it should always be a hit, especially because of its location. Popcorn, used to be complementary, but now you have to pay for it. No problem, but at least let it be good. The food is a bit pricey but it's all about the experience. On a positive note I love getting the sparkler (grapefruit juice, honey, mint), the fish and chips are good, sweet potato fries are usually good, but they were a little stale. What I did not like, was the crispy tuna rice would never get again, and would never recommend. The restroom could definitely use some TLC. The escalators not working for quite some time now, pretty inconvenient for someone who cannot go up or down an escalator easily. The seats reclining are very comfy, I have fallen asleep through plenty of movies here (lol). Just a bit disappointed, and really feel like I should've just gone to my local Cinemark.

K. Cheree I.

Yelp
I have been going to iPic for a while now - since the popcorn was free LOL - and they have never disappointed. I just went to this location on Sunday to see One of Them Days & it was the perfect date night. They have a RARE bottle of Albariño that was so yummy & refreshing! They also feature movie goer specials monthly from their top tier restaurant that is adjoined. This month the special was shrimp and grits- & it was amazing. We also had a ceasar salad and salmon that was cooked perfectly! Great service. The reclining leather seats & the blankets are the perfect touch. This place is where you go for a luxury movie night!

Mark B.

Yelp
Oh man, where do I begin? I came here a few days ago when my lady to watch Gladiator 2. We came for the night showing. We got there a little early and, upon request, were quickly directed to the bar. The bartender was the man. Super cool dude, really helpful. The drinks rocked too. Soon after, it was time to head to the theater. The inside of the theater is fantastic. Ridiculously comfortable recliners, with an excellent food and drink menu. Service is impeccable. I can't wait to come back.

Christina W.

Yelp
We went to see Deadpool 3 on a Tuesday at 9. The theater was a little over half full. The seats were comfy and they had blankets. We each got a specialty cocktail. The servers were really nice and you just pressed a button to ask for something so it wasn't very disruptive. Parking was free in the garage no validation needed.

Leah W.

Yelp
I had an amazing time here at IPIC! It was my first time and the experience was lovely. When you walk in the ambiance and interior is so beautiful, something that stood out to me was the restaurant and bar area, it had a lot of greenery there. The inside of the theater was not only spacious but the recliner seats were sooooo comfortable. The service was extremely fast and we had a good server. If you plan on booking here i'd suggest coming in a pair or groups of two's because you are sitting close to another person, while sharing a table and pod lol, too intimate to be with a stranger. Now for the food, I believe the prices weren't too high and the overall taste was average but better than other dine in theaters i've went to. We ordered the seasonal thai coconut shrimp which by the way are humongous. They were fried and seasoned great. We also had the Chicken Quesadilla which was just okay, and then last we ordered a kids chicken tenders and fries which had great flavor but was extremely tough so we had to return it. I don't know if the chicken is always tough or maybe just a bad day but the chicken that was used in the quesadillas was also tough so I don't know. Regardless of all that we had an amazing time and will definitely be back. I have to give a shoutout to someone we met on the way out named "Donte" (sorry if i misspelled your name). He was an employee here who was such a pleasure to speak and talk to. Thank you for making our experience better!!

Taletha W.

Yelp
Took myself on a movie date to see "Beetlejuice x2" on Monday 10/21. The theatre was very clean, the waiter in my specific auditorium (#2) was very sweet. I don't remember his name, but he was so nice. Very Attentive. I ordered a strawberry lemondrop with casamigo repo, the crabcake sandwich and a small popcorn. Everything came out very quickly, 1 after the other. Everything also tasted really good. I did ask for sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, and told them when regular fries was brought out. They were wiling to switch it but i said it was fine, i was hungry lol. But it was a good showing. Great service. & good food!

Yelp
As a fan of watching movies in PJs and on the couch, I don't frequent movie theaters as much as most but when I do, I'm happy when it's at iPic! Perfect to go with a buddy, because every pair of seats is nestled in their own little alcove. The seats recline and they provide a blanket (bring a hoodie because it's still cold!), so it's almost like being at home but with a big screen and extra loud sounds! There is a shared table for any snacks you order. The food menu spans from cocktails to entrees and desserts, so you could eat a full meal while enjoying a movie-- and the dishes are quite tasty and arrive warm. The fries are nicely seasoned and smashing! The servers have always been friendly and on top of the game. There's a button to press to ask for help. You don't really notice them walking around to help so it doesn't detract from the experience. The common area of the restrooms (sinks) are shared by genders but the actual stalls are segregated. So far, parking has been free-- yay! Tickets have fees that add up on checkout (e.g. "convenience fee"), but for the occasional movie night out, I'll happily pick iPic for the comfort and experience!

Candace H.

Yelp
Tbh it's a nice theater but the quality of the movie seemed a bit bad for a high end movie theater with the movie being a big grainy but over all it was okay

Abigail L.

Yelp
Desperately needs a revamp. The chairs are getting old and squeaky, the tables are either broken or wobbly (spilled all over me though out the movie) the food is lack luster and the drinks are also not great anymore. It's not measuring up to the standards of River oaks shopping district at all.

Bob b.

Yelp
I loved my experience here! Me and my partner had the most lovely time watching wicked and the food was DELICIOSO! Only 4/5 stars because the food was kinda cold and wasn't anything ridiculous but definitely great for a theatre! Elphaba Glinda elphaba Glinda Toodles, Bob B.

Marina J.

Yelp
Great location, but that's it. Very similar to studio movie grill. ‍ One adult one child was $45.19! I waited to get the tickets in the location to save the online admin fee of $4.95 but ended up still paying a "booking fee" at the box office. Anyway the nachos was over priced but tasty. We enjoyed, prob won't go back anytime soon.

Rudy M.

Yelp
We had not been to IPIC in quite a while. Went to see Click Twice this weekend in studio 8 (seats b5-8). Service was great! Margarita was not memorable. Popcorn was hot fresh. Seats were terrible -- head rest does not work well when reclined. Also the cushions are lumpy. It seems the seats have aged and need some maintenance. I hope they get attention soon. Bad seats ruin the ambiance and overall experience.

Brandi B.

Yelp
I just checked out IPIC for the first time and really enjoyed it! I will admit, I typically wouldn't spend $25 for a movie ticket but they accept Moviepass, so it felt free to me with my subscription lol. This was my first time at the theater so I had a few questions for the staff and they were SO kind and helpful. I purchased my ticket in the theater but they also have the option to buy online and select your seat in advance. I was blown away by the theater itself, with comfortable seats and a blanket to use because we all know theaters are always cold. The food/drink ordering is easy, with a button at your seat to call over the employee who will take your order. I got the fried mozzarella which came quickly - make sure to note that gratuity is included already in your bill :) Also be mindful that the seats are in buckets of two, so this really wouldn't be a good moviegoing experience outside of solo or duos! Parking is free in the garage which is amazing! It's a very nice part of town and paid parking at theaters is one of my biggest pet peeves. Overall I had a wonderful first time here and will definitely be back!

Leila H.

Yelp
Quality of iPic has decreased significantly over the last year. Tonight one of the escalators was broken (they were the last 3 times I went too), the table to our seats had gnats all over it so had to use hand sanitizer to clean our table. We were brought cold fries & buffalo rolls. Air wasn't on so was very muggy in our theatre (7). Lastly, no one ever brought our check, so after the movie I was told to walk to the front to pay and there were at-least 20 check booklets and signed receipts laying all over the bar and by registers. Seems they were Clearly understaffed tonight. Doesn't feel as upscale as it used to. Cleanliness , fresh food, and access to working escalators needs to be priority, especially for the pricing paid to attend. I have hopes they can get it together.

Chandni L.

Yelp
This is a great theater to go to for a date night. The tickets are slightly pricier (21ish pp with tax) but comes with more amenities like 2 person "cubbies" with 2 individual reclining seats, fresh blankets, and food service. We got a small truffle parmesan popcorn to split and enjoyed having something different than the usual movie theater butter popcorn. There's free parking at the garage nearby as well

Alyssa P.

Yelp
Poor customer service. My husband and I drove from Sienna to Ipic. They were having a private event so couldn't go to the restaurant- and the movie was sold out for the next two showings. So no showings from 6pm to 9pm. We did not want to wait until 9pm. My husband asked where the restroom is- the front desk lady said "it's only for paying customers." I thought how absolutely rude since we attempted to see two showings and also couldn't buy anything at the restaurant. Nonetheless, my husband disobeyed and went to the restroom. The lady then ran to tell her manager who then went to tell his manager. By the time, they completed their communication circle, my husband and I were exiting! I will never come here! I'm sure they stereotyped us and thought we couldn't afford to be there but that is far far from the truth!

Selma D.

Yelp
I shall NOT be returning. We went to see the Bob Dillon movie. We did NOT make a reservation online beforehand but instead, we just walked into the theater, chose our seats and purchased our tickets. We were charged a Booking Fee for each of us and when I asked why, I was told it was their corporate policy which made no sense to me since we didn't book ahead or online. The theater was unbearably cold so we asked them to turn down the AC, but inspite of the blankets and our sweatshirts/jackets etc it remained frigid and uncomfortable. We ordered teas instead of cocktails but those were lukewarm. The manager later told us that he had turned off the AC but the heat was not working at the time. Too bad we were not made aware of this before going into the theater. Many seats were ripped and stuck together with black or other colours tape. This is not what I expect for the prices charged here.

John G.

Yelp
We went to see Dylan movie. FIRST- we were charged a "booking fee" at the reception on TOP of the $25 movie charge. SECOND- many seats were RIPPED. But WORST was that the theater was FREEZING COLD! When we complained, the staff said that the heater was broken. But I could still feel cold air BLOWING ON ME! They couldn't tell us that before??? It was warmer outside! Never again!

Carol G.

Yelp
The price of the tickets was enough except they add a booking fee they charge! Then we are in seats that are ripped and the room was like a refrigerator! Two blankets still weren't enough. When reported to staff, we were told air conditioning was off, but there definitely was cold air blowing on us!! On top of this, charging $5 for a lukewarm small tea is outrageous!! Never again!!

Carter M.

Yelp
Wow. I came here around 7:00 on November 23 over thanksgiving break to watch Gladiator 2. I walked in and the environment was amazing, with a bar and table seating playing good music. I was then kindly directed to my theatre where I had a waiter immediately at my service. I ordered chicken tenders with a lemonade and was served extremely fast. The food and drink was amazing. The recliners were very comfortable and they give out blankets for the movie which makes the movie watching experience very comfortable and relaxing. The movie was great and the experience was great. I would definitely recommend this theatre to those who want to have a great movie night with amazing food and service. On a side note I would recommend coming in an even number group or a pair because the seats are in pods that hold two people at a time.

Ann S.

Yelp
Love the experience here!! The pod concept makes it exclusive especially if you're with a significant other. They give you a clean blanket per seat, which is really needed. It gets cold in there. You can recline the seats and each seat has a drink holder. The table is a bit small to hold 2 large plates of food. The popcorn is ok. Not that salty or buttery. I recommend the nachos with steak and fish and chips. The steak is tender and has a nice flavor. The battered fish had good flavor as well. The fries were ok. No forks were served. Not sure why. They'll give you cloth napkins instead of paper napkins. The restroom space is co-ed but the decor is modern and super fancy. The decor of the bar/dining area is cozy, super gorgeous, and inviting. Love the mural ln the wall! There's even a fireplace with accent chairs. Garage Parking is free. If you go on a Thursday night, you might have to park on level 3. Will definitely come back here again!

Helene S.

Yelp
Five for comfort. Three for value. With two couples, expect to easily spend a couple of hundred for the evening. Went with family to see Avatar. Easy to make a reservation on the app. Tickets for pod seating is up to $24.50 and no complimentary popcorn or water like when they first opened. The pods are so comfy. The seats recline independently. Each pod holds two movie goers which is perfect for a date night and social distancing especially as the trifecta numbers (flu, RSV and COVID) are rising with the holidays. Curl up and get cozy. Blankets are included. The popcorn is fresh. We also got an order of pretzels with a honey mustard dipping sauce. Their fish and chips has been good in the past. Orders are taken by an attendant and brought to you as you place your order. As far as the movie, the sound and screen were perfect. Sitting a few rows back gives you a great view. Avatar was good. Not as great as the first Avatar, but good. Loved the water scenes in Pandora. So magical. Parking is free. Cute escalator artwork made out of old books. Snagged a free fragrance sample that they were promoting as well. Nice for an easy date night or family night at the movies.

Schuyler S.

Yelp
This is a great place to go for high end luxury movie watching. The tickets are expensive but you get amazing comfortable seating, blankets, and quick food/drink service. Plus the theaters are small with folks who typically tend to respect the movie watching experience. Make sure to book early because popular showing sell out QUICK! The only downsides are that they don't lean into any quirky/fun opening night shenanigans that other mainstream theaters or Alamo Drafthouse do. Also they have a HUGE parking garage that is shared with many other businesses, so at busy times it can be a little tough finding a spot that isn't on the higher levels.

Bob S.

Yelp
Went there today - I had a good time and some decent food. Service was very good. Very pleasant experience. What is interesting (and this goes back to pre-COVID days) is how the escalators continuously break down. 2 of 4 were down today. They have various expresso drinks and they're decent. But not sure why a restaurant of this size cannot carry some non-fat (skim) milk. $3.50/quart. So my wife didn't get a non-fat latte as she's counting calories. I'll be back.

Leticia A.

Yelp
PEOPLE WITH SEAFOOD ALLERGIES DON'T EAT HERE!! My husband and I went here this past Monday, I typically order flat bread with wine but this time I wanted fries along with a couple appetizers that were fried. I informed them of my seafood allergy as I saw fried fish on their menu and come to find out they use the same fryers for everything. So anything being fried (including deserts) are fried in the same grease as fish. They aren't that accommodating. I ended up getting a salad with the sliders and it was blah. The new place in the woodlands called the Audrey is waaaay better. The portions are smaller but the food is good. I was able to have more options to choose from.

Michaela B.

Yelp
The best movie theater in houston. The food is a solid 8 but the staff is very accommodating and the bar area is great. Comfortable seats and great drinks!

Robey E.

Yelp
I probably go there once per week. I go there often enough to recognize alot of the employees. I walked to the bathroom while discussing which movie to watch with my girlfriend and the shorter male host chased me down the hall to confrontationally tell me I can't use the bathroom until I buy the tickets. Told him I literally come here every week, probably have spent 2-3 grand here over the last couple of months if you include food, and was just using the restroom while discussing which movie to watch. Told me to either buy a ticket or leave, which I think is crazy. If I were new I'd understand, but being a regular that is insane.

S C.

Yelp
Being mobility challenged, the down escalator has not worked in YEARS. And 30 minutes becket the end of Beatlejuice, 5 girls were running up and down the isles getting viewers to signet their food checks, blocking the screen and causing a major distraction to viewing the movie. I very will not renew my Gold membership. And will seek other alternative theaters, when possible.

Alexandra S.

Yelp
Came here for the first time the other day, i would say that the food and environment is good! Although it is pricey, not too bad for a nice date night. Service was great, the only thing is that the blankets had a bad smell to them.

Anissa A.

Yelp
Splurged on tickets to iPic for our first date night of 2024 and having our own little pod was super nice. I was surprised they had blankets. I had brought my own but my date used his and I ended up using mine as a pillow. Parking in the garage was free. Only one escalator was working (going up) and the elevator was out of order. Given I just had surgery, this was less than ideal. Tickets for two were a little more than $50 and two drinks were $30 plus service charge.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Loved the intimacy, service, and special touches (e.g. blankets for every guest) that IPIC offered us on our double date with friends. On top of that, they had the ABSOLUTE BEST movie popcorn we have ever had!

Yazmin J.

Yelp
I haven't been to iPic in a while, but it's not the same anymore. There's a musty smell throughout the building, including the theaters, and the cleanliness of the bathrooms has significantly declined. Additionally, the crowd lacks etiquette, which detracts from the overall experience.

Nicole N.

Yelp
Just wanted to come on and shout out Dan , the Theater manager at the iPic in River Oaks. Last night my boyfriend and I went to watch Deadpool & Wolverine. We got there early so we could have a chance to order from the menu while the theater lights were still on . Dan, came very promptly to our section saying he was helping out his staff and would be able to help place our order . Not only was he super helpful , he was able to suggest things from the menu , he was knowledgeable and quick. His customer service was impeccable and I would give him at 10/10 every time ! We appreciate him so much and hope we are able to run into on our next visit ! Thanks again Dan for the amazing experience!

Alexandra R.

Yelp
The truffle popcorn was disgusting. I would never get that again. The brownie bites were delicious. I would definitely get those again. The place was very clean. I enjoyed the blankets and being able to lounge back all the way.

Britt M.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots for moves in Houston! The blankets, the ambiance the mature setting I enjoy it here. Free parking is in the garage and the food and drinks always leave me satisfied. The only thing I probably would leave it the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, just stick to the restaurants lol. Don't get to adventurous here it's just a breather after all. The drinks are good the bar tenders are easy to talk to and have great recommendations. Service here is always A1!

Juliet H.

Yelp
IPIC is my favorite, upscale movie-going experience in Houston. IPIC is #1 on our list and a definite go-to for the hubs and I if we're looking to see a movie, the schedule works, and there are seats available. The theatre seats are comfy, and the two-seater booths give a sense of privacy even in a sold out theater. The ordering and refill process with the staff is easy and doesn't distract from the movie. The staff is friendly, aware, and even offer blankets to guests. I love coming here for movie dates done right!

Yelp
Before reading the below -- just go into the search reviews tool for yourself and type in "AC" and then "Hot", see how many people have complained about this theatre being too hot. A Customer Service Rep (Kelsey M.) has responded that there was no problem with the AC and that the limited menu was not in connection with this. This is a complete LIE, its also not the first time that iPic has been put on notice about the heat levels in the theatre (see reviews) and I don't think that you should be misrepresenting what customers are going to experience when they visit your business. I am not J.K. Rowling, so I don't have the imagination to come up with this detailed story. There was no AC there that night. This was not the first time but the second time that I visited this theater and complained to the staff that it was extremely HOT and was told that it was due to a broken AC. It was so hot, that the staff and customers were complaining. The staff specifically told us that the AC was broken again on the left side of the theatre (theatre rooms 1-5ish) and that there was a limited menu because the AC was out. Specifically, the staff stated that because the AC was broken, it was too hot in the kitchen for the staff to cook certain foods (e.g., frying foods) They were becoming overheated and it was advised that they discontinue certain items in the theatre that night. We watched an entire movie in what felt like 80 degrees. None of this was communicated ahead of our arrival. Then we were subjected to a limited menu which only included the following items: (cocktails, pretzels, wraps, the rice bowl and pizza). See how specific this is? So either you can apologize for the inconvenience, as a business owner and/or customer rep should do, and admit there was a problem with your AC OR get with your staff in Houston and ask them why they attributed the HOT conditions to a BROKEN AC and further attributed the limited menu to the BROKEN AC. Either way, iPic needs to get their business together and up to par. The iPic is boastful about being an upscale experience. If people want a limited menu they can go over to Edwards or AMC theatre. If they want to be HOT they can go sit outside at the Rooftop Cinema. Thanks Kels!

Yelp
Came here on a date and now I think this place has ruined all other movie theaters for us! IPIC sets the bar really high. Keep in mind this is in the River Oaks area so you get what you pay for. I will say it is spendy as far as the movie ticket alone goes. That being said, you're paying for the ambience and quality service. We parked in the garage and it has a convenient entrance into the theater. Once inside we went upstairs and was guided to our theater. Finding our seats was tricky but we made it just in time. They do suggest getting there early to have an easier time ordering. Customer service was excellent from start to finish. As far as food and beverage prices go, I think this was priced fairly. You get way more for your money than an average movie theater. It may look like high prices, but as far as quantity and quality go, it's worth it. I ordered a local beer to sip on and it was nice and cold. For my entree I went with the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. The name is misleading as it is just chicken tenders which was what I wanted anyways. You have a choice of a side and I went with the sweet potato fries. She got the burger entree. The drinks and food came out quick without much interruption to the movie. The food was delicious all around and there was a generous portion as well. No room for dessert unfortunately. As mentioned before. You get what you pay for with the price of admission. The screen was a good size and the the theater had great sound. Now the seats were the highlight of this place. They have these two seater pods with reclining seats. The seats are very spacious and plush. Great way to get cozy with your boo! I would definitely come back here specifically for date night. I can't see myself coming here alone though!

Yelp
Luxurious seating with the seat back as well as nice clean blankets on every seat. This is my favorite place to watch a movie for great reason! Extremely comfortable setting, very clean and nice bathrooms (which I feel is not common at all in movie theaters), and yummy food! Our favorite food to get are the truffle fries and the biscuits. So yummy! The service is always prompt and not really bothersome. Will always be back here for the vibes and for the food! My husband loves to get a beer on tap during the movie as well.

Yelp
I LOVE this place so much! Been there like 3 times in one month. The burger is great (even the vegan one!) and the serves always nice and helpful. I love the feeling of the VIP vibe and the seats are so comfy!
