Took a chance on Irie Ites Ital after seeing a small sign on the road while heading back to port. Turned around and glad we did. I love meat, but vegetarian dishes done right are always a pleasure, and this is vegetarian done very, very right
The place: The view was absolutely amazing and the kids enjoyed laying in the hammock while waiting on our food. Lots of shade and natural tree cover meant a comfortable temperature, despite the hot and humid day.
The food: delicious. We got "the special", a lentil burger, and a side of plantain chips. Our 3 & 5 yo ate it all up with zero fuss (not picky eaters, but not use to such fresh food and lack of meat) and kept fighting over the pasta from the special. Only regret is that we didn't order more lentil burgers.
Despite free food in a cruise ship, I would certainly pay for this again and again.
