Iron Lotus

So glad I passed this today. The staff were so nice first thing on opening. The ramen broth had a terrific smokey flavor. The sushi was so good too. One thing to know, is the all you can eat special does have a per plate fee of $1, for each time they bring you something. They say that to you first thing though, so it's never a surprise. Will definitely keep going. Sorry no pictures of the Superman Roll, I ate it too fast.

This place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend it. The ambience is great, particularly the outside courtyard seating, tastefully lit with string lights. The service was top notch. But, most importantly, the food was amazing. The BBQ was among the best I've had in the city. Our waitress told us that they just opened this week. I have no doubt that this place will soon win over Chicago's most enthusiastic BBQ fans. I'll be back.

stopped there yesterday for a really delicious hot stone bowl-- the smoked beef was just scrumptious!! Today I ordered from them online ( vegetable combo; Shrimp Pad Thai). I must say I am a bit disappointed. Thus the 4/5 stars. The sushi was yummy, even if the vegetable sushi was more like vegetable nigiri, that was still yummy if unexpected. However I don't recommend ordering Pad Thai here.... shrimp were fried (and soggy as a result) and whatever the sauce is was not delicious. tastes of ketchup ?? It's a great place to go and the patio is very nice! ... but exercise caution with the menu-- made stick to their specialties: smoked meat and sushi.

Omgoodness! This place just recently opened close to where I work and I have to say it was very pleasant! The decor is beautiful, the customer service is great and to top it off, the SMOKED meats are deee-lish! The stone bowls have such a nice presentation 👌 only downside is finding parking but it worth the time to look to dine in this place! They also serve drinks, sadly it was their first day opened when I went (so they didn’t have their liquor license) so I didn’t get a chance to try their exquisitely names drinks😩 BUT I will return😁

Love this place for its food and service! Their sushi, ramen, chicken wings are amazing. Not sure if I love the other bbq since they tend to be a bit dry. Overall a great place and they have ALL YOU CAN EAT now!!

Beautiful! We Love Sushi and this restaurant convinced with the quality of its fish and the friendly waiters. The atmosphere is easy, kind of american-japanese and relaxed. Try it out. Best value for money I have seen for Sushi in Chicago.

Great food and drinks, very friendly staff. They have sushi and smoked meats! (Along with ramen and other things) So you have a good selection to choose from. Would definitely recommend!

This is probably my favorite smokehouse in Chicago. All foods are so great and nice place to enjoy your time. Also homemade ice cream are really amazing. Highly recommended.
