Really fun environment, loved the space but unfortunately the oysters were honestly a let down. They were sandy, had shell flakes in them, and I had to sever the oyster from the bottom shell with a wooden pick because they were still attached. I also didn’t think they were the freshest… they barely had any brine in them which was a bummer. The shells weren’t washed either so ended up eating a good amt of sand.. I ordered the Aunt Dottys which are a fav of mine.
Kind of confusing too at first when ordering but maybe I missed directions. You need to have a table (you seat yourself) first, then you go up and order at the shack and give them the table number so they bring you your food.
I will def come back because of the good vibes — I know they just opened so I’m gonna give them the benefit of the doubt here with the lackluster oysters. The staff was very nice!!
