On the Grid : Ithaca Farmers' Market

"Ithaca Farmers' Market because is one of the best Farmers' Markets in the country. People in California, CALIFORNIA, rave about our farmers' market, so I guess we should too. Here's the deal, it's crazy popular so ditch your car and ride your bike on the Waterfront Trail. Plan on grabbing lunch, you will wait in line and it's worth it. The breakfast burritos are particularly good. Take your grub to the water's edge and sit among the willow tree roots, while kids play around you. Feed the ducks. It's pretty idyllic. The local high school held their prom at the market, which, rumor has it, was simply magical. You could get married there too, after hours, of course. Think fairy lights." - St. John Design Group

On the Grid : The Piggery

"This is the place to go if you're a paleo diet fan. Actually, this is the place to go if you are a proponent of supporting local businesses. Really, this is the place to go if you like to eat MEAT. Boasting as Ithaca's only farm-to-table butcher, the Piggery offers meat and charcuterie from both their Trumansburg farm and area partnering farms. The sausages and sliders are terrific, and the salami is great for picnics. You can pick up dairy items, condiments, and freshly baked bread for a ploughman's lunch to take to any of the area parks. We once purchased a container of bacon jam there, which is honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten." - St. John Design Group

Loved this place. So many great vendors with variety of choices. We Enjoyed mushroom, kombucha and cherries. Since we were traveling, we didn't by a lot but if I were local, I would have Enjoyed more. Still a great place during our road trip.

Google
I love farmers markets, Ithaca, Santa Fe, Woodstock, Cary and Crystal Lake. The Ithaca market has a really beautiful venue by the river. The vendors include traditional fruits and vegetables during season, cheeses, various craft meats, several wine, cider, beer offerings including tastings, several food options like burritos, Thai, middle eastern, tibitetian, lemonades, various parties, breads. This is definitely worth the trip, but prepare yourself for patience and understanding because everyone really likes to go there.

Google
Great spot to find local veg, spirits and experience a variety of world cuisine which isn't anywhere else in the area. Can be a bit crowded and some booths were a bit pricey, but I was happy with everything purchased there.

Taste local cider, wines, buy local organic honey & the most beautiful flowers. Plenty of posies flowers get more beautiful each day & they last all week.

So happy I got to stop by while in town. Such a beautiful farmer's market with a lot of great local sellers. Pictured is a breakfast crepe from one of the sellers.

Google
Very cute! Lots of variety in vendors, great places to eat! Loved the free music! It was 4th of July weekend and very hot and crowded. No fault of the market, but it was a bit close that day. We were visiting from Ohio. Found a great place to sit and eat lunch! Fun!

Google
One of the best farmer’s markets I’ve ever been to. All under cover, but open to the air. Lots of variety among the vendors. Several hot food options, so you can have a meal here. Lines were a bit long for a few of them. Gluten-free crepes and hand pies. Allow at least an hour.

Google
Great farmers market all fresh produce , cool vendors for homemade jewelry , great food , great coffee , great people the atmosphere is great cool vibe!! Only open Saturday and Sundays so get there while you can !!

Yelp
With as many options as this pavilion has, why haven't other farmers markets taken notice? You can literally get anything you want, from breakfast on the spot, to produce for later in the day, or even other hand made crafts. This spot should be the model for other markets in the country!

Yelp
Ithaca Farmers Market seems to be one of the popular places to visit based on online recommendations of things to do in Ithaca, so made it a point to stop by on a weekend visit to Ithaca. The waterfront location on Cayuga Lake with benches and walking paths make it a cute place to visit. The stalls have a variety of vendors selling produce, wines, crafts, specialty goods, cooked foods, coffee, cider, ice cream, and much more. One downside is that there's no place to sit within the market, so you have to leave the market to find a place to sit, relax, or eat food. I felt it lacked quick food options for those who didn't want a full meal, and lacked vendors that sold local baked goods. My favorite part was the live music out by the Cayuga Lake pier where you can sit and enjoy lake views while listening to music. The pier is where Discover Cayuga Lakes cruises take off from on weekends. Overall, I'd rate the Ithaca Farmers Market a 3.5/5 as a fun place to kill an hour or so and perhaps pick up something if you find yourself bored on the weekend while visiting Ithaca.

Yelp
While on vacation in the finger lakes region, we had a cooler rainy day that we were looking for something to do. Wy wife found out about the farmers market that was about 30 min drive from us. It was a beautiful drive, we saw many waterfalls and countless wineries on the way. Parking appeared to be daunting, but with a bit of patience we scored a spot close to one of the entrances. It was crowded, but everyone was pleasant and moving through the crowd wasn't an issue. We sampled a few things, bought a couple things, had a snack and enjoyed our time there. It was well worth our time to visit, we always enjoy local venues when we travel. You are fortunate to have this in your town

Yelp
It was a rainy day and I was looking for things to do in the area. The farmer's market is covered and there were so many vendors! I was able to sample and purchase delicious local honey, smoked cheese, and honey comb. We purchased a beautiful handmade headband and jewelry for my daughter. There are so many unique art and other items to look at/ purchase. Loved the view of Cayuga Lake as well. There are food vendors and bathrooms as well.

Yelp
First time here since I was a student at Cornell - this is an amazing farmers market!! It's definitely less produce focused than most farmers markets and instead has much more prepared food vendors and vineyards/cideries doing tastings. It's probably 50% wine tastings realistically. The prepared food is a little pricey - dishes will run about $15 or more. Snacks (eg samosas, dumplings) are around $6-8. There are also some coffee and drink stands (kombucha, lemonade, etc). There's ample parking and the spot is wonderful, situated right on the waterfront. Overall this is a great way to spend a weekend morning. Highly recommend a stop while you're in town.
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
Better than ever with covered areas, lots of good options, etc. Had the savory crepe and iced coffee and walked around looking at hand made art: screen-printed shirts, wooden bowls, jewelry, etc. lots of wine, cheese, and yogurt tastings to boot. Plenty offers and seasonal veggies. Only fruit was strawberries. Cambodian good, samosas, and breakfast burrito stands had very long lines but the food looked delicious. Plenty of parking, seating by the lake and even a hiking trail (1.2 miles) that you can take after and it goes along the water. You can also rent a boat tour while you're down there.

Yelp
The best farmers market I've ever been to! You'll find tons or organic produce, flowers, plants, herbs, honeys, wines, leather goods, jewelry, amazing food and my favorite --40 Weight Espresso! Parking can be a challenge. I usually find a spot, but when I don't, I go to the medical building parking lot nearby on the water and you can pick up a trail that leads to the market there. The customer service is great. There is always someone on duty to help. There are two bathrooms, but I often run into Aldi and use theirs before I hit the market. The market is pretty dreamy. Wood plank floors, music and lights adorn the market. I promise, you'll love it!

Yelp
I like it a lot. Same with my happily married wife and kids. The quality of the food was really nice and the people running the stands were really kind.
google avatar

Yelp
Always love the Ithaca Farmer's Market as all of the small vendors have something great to offer. Unfortunately I do not have any vendors names, but I was able to purchase fresh fruits, handmade wood utensils and bowls, baked goods, and fresh food along this beautiful market trail. I love that it is covered and allows businesses to work rain or shine.
google avatar

Alana K.

Yelp
My friends and I came here on a Saturday morning at 10am. We expected it to be super crowded, and while it was busy, it wasn't as bad as we expected. There are a great selection of vendors (produce, baked goods, hot food, homeware, decor, jewelry, soap/bath products, etc). Everyone we spoke with was so friendly and nice. I'd highly recommend to anyone in the area!
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
Consistently a great visit. The food, flowers, and atmosphere is always what you expect of a great market place.

Yelp
My wife and I heard all about this farmers market and told we had to go. We love these types of markets and usually spend a load of money. The market is open Saturday and Sunday and it is mostly covered. It is a very popular market so be patient getting there and with parking. Overall, my wife and I were a bit disappointed after all of the hype. I guess we expected something different. Way to many wineries giving tastings and tiny booths serving perogies, Cambodian food, breakfast items, etc. We found the only bread place and bought a few loaves and some scones. Prices were excellent. Very few options, if any, for jam, jellies, pies, syrups, salsas, candles, etc. That is what we were looking for. Regardless, we were glad we went but I don't think we would go back.
google avatar

Yelp
The Ithaca Farmers Market gets a lot of hype, but I wasn't blown away. Stop in for lunch, said everyone. They have great food for lunch, said everyone. We came in at 1 and every savory food kiosk was completely wiped or had a massive line. We were only able to get our hands on bread and ice cream. The savory food kiosks didn't feel like what you'd typically find at a Farmers Market. They felt a little heavy... maybe in 100 degree weather I just wasn't feeling the heavy Cambodian noodles. I wish there were a few lighter grab and go options like tacos / sandwiches. You also cannot get a glass of wine or beer. Only a small tasting and a full size bottle. Not ideal if you want to walk around and have a drink with your eats. Seating is limited and it was just a bit of a hot mess. I regretted not having a nice and relaxing lunch downtown. The upside - produce looked fresh and bountiful and the flowers were gorgeous. There are of course lots of locally made goodies and if you are looking to shop vs eat there is a ton of selection. Unfortunately for lunch this just wasn't our best bet. Lesson learned!

Yelp
One of the best farmers markets I have ever been to. Great selection of local produce, flowers, amazing food vendors. Amazing! Just watch out for the big potholes when you go to park!
google avatar

Yelp
beautiful outdoor facilities and many organic farm vendors, however all food vendors should openly disclose with signage if their food is soy free, GF, and see oil free. Make america healthy again people!!!

Yelp
Different concept from Madison's (WI) farmer's market. It's good for buying groceries groceries. It offers a good variety of produce. Go early, it gets crowded as it is a popular market. The gluten-free crepes and matcha coffee (different stands) that I had for breakfast were good/healthy but had no flavor...they were really healthy. FYI Bring your own bags as they don't provide any.

Yelp
One of the best farmers markets on the East Coast. I've had my fair share of farmers markets, but Ithaca's market provides a diverse range of food options, goods, and produce. Everyone from the store owners to the people are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. I loved supporting local businesses when purchasing locally made jewelry, pottery, local plants, and other goods. This community genuinely cares about the quality of their products and commits to composting and other green methods to help our planet. I wish I lived closer to this market, but I will definitely come back. It's a must visit when in the area.

Yelp
I could have CRIED walking up to this market! What a beautiful dream it is with its adorable booths and vendors and oasis-style atmosphere. It is just so stunning. There's something for everyone including amazing eats, ice cream, honeys, soaps, art, produce, flowers, and much more. I only wish it was open more frequently so I could stop by anytime I am in town. Only open on Saturdays and the traffic does get a little crazy. We parked father away from the market proper so we would have an easier time getting out. The market is situated right on the water which allows for gorgeous views as you take in the sights and smells. I purchased a Farmers Market sweater and will wear it with pride. We had limited time as we were headed to a show after our visit, but I could have stayed and chatted with vendors/sat an enjoyed snacks for HOURS. Do NOT miss this market if you're in Ithaca on a Saturday!
google avatar

Georginia S.

Yelp
Few places prove to be magical quite like the Ithaca Farmers Market. It is busting with excited energy of Saturday morning, and filled with all sorts of vendors from on the go treats to produce for the week. The market is a decent size filled with vendors from end to end. Walking through we stopped at a crepe shop that had the longest line selling both sweet and savory crepes. We got breakfast crepes filled with eggs, cheese, and some veggies. It was fantastic! The market is also by a lake and it's beautiful to sit out there and eat by the water. If you're visiting Ithaca, this place is worth a visit!
google avatar

Natalie B.

Yelp
I am so jealous of anyone living in Ithaca. This farmers market is small but mighty! Everything there seems to be local grown. The vendors were so friendly, prices were reasonable, and the options were limitless. Since we were traveling home, we couldn't buy veggies or meat but we made sure to stop at multiple booths for other items. My dog got a bison bone that kept him occupied for about 8 hours and still remains his favorite thing. I got honey for my mom which she says is incredible. I purchased a bourbon cider for my brother. It's tart and a bit dry but very refreshing. I loved seeing the fresh flowers, so beautiful. For lunch my boyfriend got a gyro that he practically cried over, it was so good. I got 2 different crepes, 1 sweet with strawberries which was amazing and 1 savory with chicken and feta. Oh Em gee was that thing incredible! I would go back just for that particular crepe.

Yelp
While on our BabyMoon, my husband and I wanted to kill about an hour before heading back to our AirBNB. I had heard that the Ithaca Farmers' Market was practically famous so we had to venture that way. Parking was a mess. This place was so busy. It took forever to find a spot. There isn't really a parking lot, just an area were you make spots up as you drive. The market itself was huge. So many venders! And unique ones as well! It wasn't all vegetables and food. Lots of crafts and homemade items. It was very nice. I wish I had planned differently because we could have done lunch there. There were a ton of pop up restaurants and a nice seating area in the back of the market.

Yelp
One of the best farmers' market I've been to. I love this place. It gets crowded and it's hard to park, but it's a must do when I'm in the area. There is fresh produce, cheeses, honey meats as well as crafts and prepared food. If you're in Ithaca, this is something you shouldn't miss.
google avatar

Yelp
First of all, if you plan to visit here please visit their website for updated market hours because their hours vary from month to month as well as location. We visited the steam boat landing location on a Sunday. There's a steam boat ride if you're into that. We got to try variety of things like apple ciders (hot and cold) with no added sugar that was refreshing and full of natural sweetness, momos (dumplings with veggies), and almond croissant with light filling. This open market is near the lake where steam boat docks. There was nothing like enjoying all these delicious things in a peaceful place. If you have a chance to visit here, it's worth the visit. There's no entrance fee so you can just browse.
google avatar

Yelp
Adorable farmer's market, if I lived closer, you would probably see me buying flowers every other week from here. They had my favorite peonies and arrangements for such reasonable prices compared to what I would pay for in the heart of NYC. Great food and fresh vegetables. We ended up just getting apple cider slushie and apple cider donuts which were delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite stops in the spring, summer or fall!! Ithaca Farmers Market is one of the top markets I've been to and always a highlight when I get to come back. The market is measles up to the bottom of Cayuga Lake and is always hopping. The market is large with stall under a wooden roof to keep it shaded and protected if it rains. They range from veggies & fruit, Che's & meats to hand made items like soap, clothing, yarn, pottery and woodworking, so many great things you'll want to take home. They have beautiful flowers and plants and then stalls with food from all around the world. Shop & then grab a bite and take it to the bench's and tables along the water. There usually some musicians playing and you can enjoy the cool breeze coming off the lake and watch the kayakers paddle up to grab some food themselves. Do bring cash as many of the venders only use cash (there's an atm if you need it) A great Saturday event!
google avatar

Manasa A.

Yelp
Lots of local produce and handicraft stores. We felt the prices in some of the handicraft stores are expensive. But the produce is fresh and reasonably priced. There are a lot of food options also.We tried food from a few stalls and the food was delicious. The standouts for us were the Cambodian and thai stalls. We wanted to try the momos but they were sold out.It is located right by the water and have nice benches to sit and enjoy the food and views.

Yelp
This is one of my favourite farmers' markets in the world. However as a disclaimer, I may be biased because this has a college-nostalgia for me. Despite that, it ranks up there with smaller town ones like those I've found in Vermont. The farmers' market is open on the early weekends where you can get local fare for a fair price. Selections range from cideries and wineries, apple farms, apiary enthusiasts for honey, artwork, etc. It's all enclosed in an open-air pavilion situated right by the water. One of my favourite places to sit and eat is on the dock. There is abundant seating though -- proper tables, on the rocks, on benches, etc., and there's quite a bit of shade as well. There's also an ATM provided and two proper bathrooms, so overall, the market is legit. Check it out if you're ever in town!
google avatar

Gabby R.

Yelp
The Ithaca Farmer's Market is one of my absolute favorite places in the world. By farmer's market standards, it's by far the best around - tons of options for fruits, veggies, local cheese, mushrooms, coffee, you name it. I even got a really cute mask here that I've worn for most of the pandemic. And then, there are the food stalls, if you're here for a meal (which I would definitely recommend). The breakfast burritos are a crowd favorite, but you will have to wait a bit for them. My favorite is the crepe place, I get the spinach & feta with mozzerella cheese sauce on top. They also have gluten free & dairy free options! If you're hungry, the pizza is also incredible. Take your food out by the water and sit on the docks or benches if the weather is nice!
google avatar

Wendy P.

Yelp
A must see & do! Great vendors with crafts, fresh vegetables and fruit, wonderful tasting of cheese, wine & ciders. Awesome food specialties like pies, breads, many culinary cultures of food. Beautiful location. Just a lot waiting to park but we'll worth it. You can stay all day. Music too!
google avatar

Eric D.

Yelp
This was an adorable market with loads of different local stands selling delicious foods, drinks, and lots of different crafts. I love the wood work and the Christmas lights on the ceiling and the beautiful view of the lake. There was plenty of parking and lots to see and enjoy. Absolutely worth a visit for fresh and tasty local foods and crafts!

Yelp
Ithaca Farmers' Market is a vendor-run cooperative that supports the local farmers, chefs, and artisans within 30 miles of Ithaca. It offers a variety of different items for sale - fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, dairy products, prepared foods, baked goods, spirits, and other handmade artisanal gifts. The market is inside a pavilion, so it is open in both good and bad weather (i.e. rain or snow). Dogs are not allowed inside the market pavilion, even if they are within a carrier. At the time of writing (June 2020), there were some special guidelines to follow to enforce social distancing measures. For instance, we had to wait outside the pavilion because they were restricting how many patrons can be inside the pavilion simultaneously, and none of the hot prepared foods were available for sale. In addition to wearing a mask/face covering inside the market pavilion, we were asked to not touch any of the produce to minimize contamination. When I visited Ithaca Farmers' Market in June 2020, not all of the vendors were open, and the market was operating with shortened schedule. From my understanding, the market is going to return to normal business hours starting late June/early July. Nonetheless, I appreciated their efforts to provide fresh, local produce to the community even during the challenging times. I can't wait to return in the future to see how the market is when it's business as usual.

Yelp
Amazing selection of vegetables, meat and fruits to buy and some vendors that are selling beautiful flowers. There's a wide selection of things you can buy, like jam, honey, clothes, art and pottery. You can get full really easily. The Amohck Chicken (#7 on the menu) is my favorite, it's so savory and slightly spicy with a nice bed of rice from the Cambodian stall. The fresh squeezed lemonade was the best drink I've had, it was slightly sour but still sweet and so refreshing. The Banh Chev was also really good, just beware that it has a really strong kick and is spicy. The Pad Thai was more on the sweeter side so not my favorite but it got better when you used the lime, but the Thai iced tea was the worst I've had. It was too sweet and they used too much condensed milk where it soon tasted like vanilla ice cream. The Vegan Samosa was ok, it was packed with potatoes, but the sauces they offer is good, with mild or hot curry, and a hot tomato based sauce. The best spot to eat if you're lucky is right at the dock, there's one bench there with a roof, so you can watch over the lake and be in the shade as you enjoy the delicious food!

Yelp
On our last day before leaving Ithaca we decided to drop by this place to check it out and bring some stuff home. The parking was easy, the market is not that big but still in good size. I really like it and its really cool! They sell fresh fruits and vegestables and also food. Theirs few food vendors for us to just had our lunch there. If you want coffee, cider and many more types of drinks they have it. I had tacos for myself and my bf got thai food and some greek food. The backdoor area is open with lots of chairs. We enjoyed our lunch with the perfect lake view. Before we left we got some fresh vegestables that we take home.

Yelp
So this was a wonderful farmers market with all kinds of great things great food right up on the lake where you can go out on the dock and get a ride on the boat and see the whole lake awesome great farmers market anyone to check it out if they're in Ithaca

Yelp
Absolutely a must visit if you are visiting! Such an amazing experience and was so blown away with so many local people supporting this . We tried Cambodian cuisine for the first time and loved it . Kids loved the crepes . We even packed food to take on our local state park hikes .

Yelp
What a lovely place! My husband and I stopped by to see what the offerings were and we were very pleasantly surprised! We especially enjoyed the hard cider tastings (still can believe apples have such depth) and we also really liked the wide variety of foods. We can't wait to come back with the kids and sit by the waterfront with a picnic.

Yelp
A must to visit when in the town. Great location. Close to the town center. It's worth the trip. The best farmers market I have been to. It is waterfront, has boat ride, lots of parking space and has great number of stalls from veggies to fruits to wines to chesses down to knick knacks. This I may say is my kind of market. I feel alive during shopping. Those flowers by the entrance made me super excited upon stepping in the place. Glad I have a big bag for all my purchased items. It's a BYOB market (bag not bottle) by the way. Glad was able to support the local farms of the town within 30 miles radius. Prices may be a little higher than regular market but hey, its all organic. There were Plenty of food selections also for brunch...American, Latin or Asian favorites. Has good waterfront eating spot to chill while live music as form of entertainment was playing during dining. I enjoyed much my Vietnamese tofu noodle salad. I like the freshness of all the vegetables that were used. Fresh from the farm. Can't help not to take one or two of something as our "to go". My husband enjoyed his Cambodian pao and fries on the other hand. We left the place with a smile on our faces. Definitely worth coming back.

Yelp
First time here. A lot of locally grown fruit and produce. My fav was the beef empanadas vendor. The apple cider was good, maybe needed sugar or some topping. Parking is tricky and it started raining so everyone got jammed under the tents, so I advice to bring an umbrella. Also, I saw many thai and Vietnamese food vendors, I plan on trying them next.
google avatar

Yifu Z.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday morning and loved the vibe of this place! The aroma of burritos, pitas, and thai food was in the air, and the fall foliage in the background was beautiful. The market wax a bit small and lacked variety, but made it easy to enjoy an hour of free time. We opted for the gyros and they actually tasted fresh and not greasy! The local honey shops were a highlight as well, tons of variety when it comes to honey and vendors who knew their stuff. Will definitely come back again!

Yelp
THEY HAVE DOGS WALKING AROUND THE FARMERS MARKET!!!!! AND DUCKS!!!!!! Yelp told me my review was too short so let me elaborate I love dogs and I love ducks more than most things in life. They have them here.
google avatar

L L.

Yelp
It is a good farmer's market with a lot of different stalls of interesting food, plants and arts&crafts merchandise. We had one of the best beef empanadas in of one of the stalls. It is a good place to spend one or two hours on a Saturday. The problem was parking... so be patient. PS.. I think it opens on some Sundays despite the description says it closes Sunday.
google avatar

Yelp
The Ithaca Farmers Market is our first stop whenever we visit here. The local fruits and veggies are amazing, as well as the cheeses. I love the bakeries that come with fresh bread and pastries, and of course the wood fired pizza stand! Make sure to bring cash (and a lot of it) when visiting, because I always want to buy something from every stand. If I had to recommend my favorite things, I love the blueberry juice, cider donuts, and "Goblin" cheese. Definitely stop by, and plan to stay the day!

Yelp
This unfortunately is a 2-star rating because of the horrid parking situation, dogs and crowds. Both coming in and going out were huge traffic delays. In spite of traffic guides, there are too few spaces for the mobs of vehicles attending. And when a vehicle gets stalled or won't restart, everything is backed up and there are few places to pull over. Walk in after parking outside of the grounds. Very much a FARMER'S market. Artists and craft people are present but the thrust is in fresh produce and flowers, both categories in quantity. Food booths are plentiful and most all of them have long lines which further restricts movement of people through the tunnel created by the vendor booths. The vendors are nice and friendly and there is a very casual air to the event. An attractive event for visitors to the area. Handicapped visitors are at an unfortunate disadvantage because of the crowds. You can get around with a walker of wheelchair, but it is difficult and frustrating. Ground outside are uneven at best, so be careful. Although there is a conspicuous sign warning off dogs and people with dogs, the dogs abound. NOT good given the food booths and the occasional pooping and peeing that inevitably takes place. People to control animals were not evident so that is an area that the sponsors need to consider. Surrounding the covered areas of the vendors there are a number of benches and picnic tables all around. There is a lake bordering the market, so you will need to keep close watch on your young children for their safety. I felt a great relief as we eventually and slowly made our exit. So nice of a popular event/attraction but overwhelmed by the people attending. Sorry, as I was on the board of our local farmer's market and do appreciate the selling and participating pluses for any community.

Yelp
Loved the space and wide variety of vendors. Got some ground coffee and a pastry. Get there early!

Yelp
Thanks to yelp, we found Ithaca Farmers' Market and decided to go for lunch here after a morning run at the gorges. We arrived around noon on Saturday and the place was quite packed. As you get closer to the market, it becomes harder to find a parking space, but we were still able to park in an area about 10-minute walk from the market. I was simply hungry and was fine eating whatever is reasonable and tasted decent. The Cuban Sandwich was sold only for $4 so I assumed it would be too small to make lunch, but it was actually a nice size. I was also happy to be able to buy lip balm because my lips started to dry when we reached Ithaca. It's amazing how the market offers so many products, including skin care products and kitchenware. It is definitely worth a visit when you are in Ithaca.

Yelp
The Ithaca Farmer's Market is my happy place. Many a morning I spent here, strolling through the pavilion, admiring local art and beautiful bouquets, enjoying live music. The food is diverse and delicious; lots of local restaurants start out as booths here. In between browsing, I love resting on the sunny dock and feeding the ducks. The parking can get a little hectic; I recommend parking a bit away and walking if possible. Be sure to bring your own bags and plenty of cash.

Yelp
This may be one of the best Farmer's Markets that I have ever been to and I have been to a few. It's on a lake! They have boat rides! Beautiful setting! Lot's of prepared food vendors--something I don't see often. And the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Wished I lived closer--I would be a regular and then probably get burnt out on it. There were many stars here and forgive me if I leave one out: The Cambodian restaurant with the pancakes, the mom and pop pastry store with the Oatmeal Raisin cookies-the BEST EVER cookie--giant and I ate 2 of them that day and the egg white omelet burrito man with chicken and veggies--yea--ate that too, not to mention some fruit and other tastings. Glad that we ran out of time otherwise it would have turned into an expensive visit. But I will make sure to come back next time in Ithaca.

Yelp
Really cute market with great coffee and yummy Cambodian food! Understandably the wait was a bit long due to covid safety measures. Will look forward to coming back next time we are in the area and hopefully by then things will be back to normal.

Yelp
This is an amazing place to attend during the weekend. Each vendor sells different things such as vegetables, fruits, bread, chesse, and flowers. The provide a variety of options to choose from. What really makes this farmers market special is the atmosphere. Some vendors are selling food that is fresh and delicious. From what i saw they only provide one ATM which is convenient because some vendors only accept cash. The parking can be a nightmare if you going during peak hours, but they have staff to guide you to a close parking spot. There are multiple vendors selling variety of food to eat during lunch. Which is convenient so you can relax by the water.
