The 18 Essential Filipino Restaurants in Los Angeles

"West Covina’s Itoy Sa Atin offers one of the city’s best steam table smorgasbords. Although nothing is cooked to order, the selection of soups, stews, and stir-fries gleam with freshness. Always available and reliable is the pork adobo, a delectable stew redolent of garlic, soy sauce, and vinegar. The hunks of meat are so tender that the provided plasticware cuts through like butter." - Emily Joy Meneses, Eater Staff

Google
Only tried a few items, but what we had was good. We ended up ordering a platter of the Lechon Kawali for a party and it was a big hit. The sauce for the Lechon is on the sweet side if that’s what you like. They offer lumpia, but it’s fried fresh to order. Unfortunately you have to order a minimum amount (approximately $15 worth) to get it. We already had a lot of food so opted to try it next time when we have a larger group. I would come back again.

Google
Ito ay Atin unquestionably serves the best Lechon Kawali in town! The succulent, crispy pork belly is a symphony of flavors - crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. The dish captures the essence of Filipino cuisine flawlessly. Pair it with their delightful array of sauces, and you’ve got a taste sensation that’s unmatched. A must-try for anyone craving authentic, delicious Filipino food!

Google
It's Christmastime, and it was so nice to dine at a place so festively decorated! We had an adobo combo, a beef stew, fish, chicken afritada (not sure of the spelling), turon, and a couple other things. Everything was great. Service was great too - prompt and helpful. Wish they were open a bit later than their current hours. Very pleasant atmosphere to sit and enjoy your food!

Google
Hindi masarap. The lechon was togh and dry. The bangus was dry. The beefsteak tagalog was not that flavorful. I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the Filipino food here. Friendly service. But the AC inside on ceiling is blasting on dining tables, so wear a jacket. Still lots of Filipinos come and get a meal here, but they could do better IMHO.

Eric De Sagun

Google
The best filipino food in West Covina. Their foods are authentic Pinoy food. Very clean and organized, service is excellent. I eat here almost every other day considering that many other filipino restaurants in the same location but Ito ay Atin is my choice and the best.

Jess Trinidad

Google
Foods are out of required health temperatures. Soup was just warm, papaitan was cold, very salty, too much vinegar.

Hershey DL

Google
This Filipino restaurant has a lot of choices, but food here were leftovers, not freshly cooked. I ordered fried bangus (milk fish), it was cold, not served in proper temperature and it was not freshly cooked, It's hard and tasted old. Lechon paksiw was hard and not served in proper temperature. This restaurant should be inspected soon by CDPH for the prevention of food borne infections.I did not see any CA food handler's certification posted. I will not recommend this restaurant.

Google
If you like good Filipino food at a great price, you have to come here. All their entries are made fresh every day and we have never been disappointed with any dish. Love the cantaloupe drink!

Yelp
ive been eating to this place for 20 yrs all the foods are excellent good for recommendation to all , the people ate happy and the chef cook is the best in the town

Yelp
Best time to come is when they open so the food is fresh and not sitting out all day! Stopped by here on a chance and it was a gem! Food was great and well seasoned! Bbq skewers - 4/5- sweet & savory Pancit - 4/5 lots of veg very fresh Bopis- 3/5 the meat wasn't very clean tasting Overall I would come back again very good!

Yelp
Our go-to catering for pancit, bbq chicken sticks, lumpia, and all that is good in this world. Sarrraapppp. But really tho, has everything you need and showcases how great Filipino food is!

Oscar C.

Yelp
I always ordered foods for holidays and other family events. I tried nearby restaurant and they are the best by far considering price, amount, and excellent service. Ate Rose is the contact person.

Raul A.

Yelp
Rosie the Restaurant Manager Is awesome. The food selection is huge, and the taste is awesome . I drive in from Arizona just to eat here. This dining experience is a must, whether you are Pinoy or not..!

Angela B.

Yelp
I always wanted to try this place and finally got the chance to go there after church. I love that all the meat were tender not like other places. And they were all flavorful. I also like the pork barbecue here as the flavor is not overpowering and the portion is just right I will definitely go back and try out other entrées on their menu.

Yelp
Wow this place has gone down. I was craving Filipino breakfast and I use to go to this place often and now I remember why I stop going. Filipino breakfast is now $9 where a couple of dollars more I can get a two item combo anywhere else. Food was cold, rice was hard and quality is just garbage. Cashier/Boss Lady just rude. This place is not atin, I will never go back. Update: yes I was right. Went to DJ Bibingkahan, same complex, and got a Filipino breakfast for $6.
google avatar

Sammy T.

Yelp
I got the lechon and BBQ platter at this place. Lechon is somewhat dry but it needs more seasoning. The service here is decent. The lechon sauce is homemade but it's better if it needs a little bit of salt. Service is friendly plus they are courteous when it comes to COVID-19 protocols. Bring cash so you don't get charged extra for debit/credit card usage.

Yelp
Very rude behavior of staff/cashier. I went here to eat but the staff they have here is very rude! Will not recommend this place to other people anymore to eat.

Justin M.

Yelp
An older couple led me here for my first time & it's time to leave a review. I had such an amazing experience. I wanted the chicken adobo, but it was sold out! I am not surprised, the dark sauce looks so delicious. They did still have pork adobo but Instead I was offered the chicken afritada and a chicken ginger soup, which i was eager to try. The chicken gravy rice combination is insanely delicious. The soup is so warm & hearty, I am taking it home to eat later for dinner w some steamed rice. I got a cold coca cola canned to down everything. On my way out, I was offered a complimentary taste of their cantaloupe drink... very refreshing. Bless you guys, I can't wait to bring family / friends to this spot. The vibe is very family friendly.

Yelp
ITO AY ATIN" Restaurant- Some where down the road LA County, West Covina City,(Manila way), California, USA. -ITO AY ATIN RESTAURANT - Here they cater and serve Authentic Delicious Filipino Food, a variety from breakfast to suffer dinner, good service from the staff . Handicap Parking are available and clean wash room (comfort room ) the peaceful feeling while dining and temperature and aroma is uncomparable within to my observation, make me think to keep as our regular Canteen or food resource, Around the Plaza also other essential for our needs as "pinoy like remittances, bakery's, beauty parlors, Telecommunication, etc ., business. And to add it Also remind me of a song Of Hadji Alejandro-, " Mula ng akoy natutong umawit.....itoy at ATIN sariling Atin"...Kay Ganda ng ating musika ".. I enjoy the atmosphere here of course the fine Filipino delicious food and delicacy. It's our first time to eat here with my Husband "Fredericious, To mark this special a time for me ,I will note this memory Dated June 23,2022 .

Yelp
This is my go-to when I want Filipino food. I dine in with their 2-entree combo and order some of my favorites in their large/extra large to-go boxes. Their kare kare is the best! It even beats the taste and quality (and not to mention the portion!) that of an actual Filipino restaurant. I also love their bulalo. Their dishes taste very authentic and are probably the closest to homemade I've had in a long time.

Luis E.

Yelp
Ordered the Bistek which had a good taste, but the cuts of beef were very poor. Too much fat and tendons. Had to throw a lot of it away therefore not worth the over $20 they charge for a large order.
google avatar

Mia S.

Yelp
Had take out food yesterday. My sister and I did not like the food at all. The kare kare did not taste nor looked like kare kare. It did not have peanut or peanut butter, the vegetables were over cooked and the meat, it was indistinguishable. I couldn't tell or taste whether it was beef or langua or what. I also ordered the binagoongan which tasted like leftover lechon kawali recycled. It was very dry and dark in color. Overall, it was not good lunch experience. Sorry.

Yelp
One of my favorite Filipino restaurants in West Covina. The attendants are nice, always calling me Kuya. Ugh, am I that old? Well, it's better than Manong. I've been here about a dozen times. Sometimes with my Tita and Mama, and sometimes pick up dishes to go and eat at home. Many of the dishes look delicious, and they always look recently prepared, unlike other places where they've been sitting a few hours and they look tired. They have really good pansit sotanghon and pansit palabok, and beef bulalao, and pinakbet. I also like the mongo soup and chicken and pork BBQ. I thought the sweet and sour fish was a little too sweet. I had the champorado once, but it needed a little help. During the quarantine, I hope they're doing OK.

Noemi A.

Yelp
Their food will cost you more money than eating in Thai restaurant . They increased their price. 80% . They have to be reported for increasing their price that high .

Helene E.

Yelp
Thirty dollars for 2 people and that would have been ok if the food was good. Arrived before noon and the pinakbet already looked shrunken and not freshly cooked The bifstek was on sweetish side and it seemed a little panis. The lechon kawali was not freshly fried either. Did not even bother to bring the left over food home which is against our frugal, Filipino nature. Very dissapointed. Money is so tight now that the amount spent for a horrible experience just hurts more.

Yelp
Great food. Better than the larger Filipino restaurant at the same complex. Great service as well.

Marsman A.

Yelp
They always make my order on time and they're food is delicious and the Ate's there are very nice and they normally give food to the homeless whenever they can Help small business succeed by helping others in need is pretty amazing

Roselyn M.

Yelp
Oh my, I haven't been to this restaurant for awhile, so I was excited to pass by since I was craving for Filipino food... and how I wished I did not. Ordered a combo- including small amount of pansit, fish (sarshado-tail part only) and a small cup of rice for $15.99- really?! They told me initially combo is $11.99 but then charged me $15.99 because the fish, which they should have told me first that was not included. Despite it being pricey, it would have been ok if the food was good...but it wasn't. Moreover, customer service needs some improvement. Go somewhere else please!

Yelp
We were looking forward to having a pinoy brunch--a friend of ours said they served breakfast all day. It turns out they only serve it from 6am to 10am. So our plan was a bust--or so we thought. We ended up having a pretty good meal! They had mechado, bulalo, inihaw na baboy, and menudo. It was all sooo good. The mechado was so tender and well flavored, and it was pretty yummy--I wish I had the stomach space to eat more, lol! My folks tried the jeprox (a crispy dried fish) and it was on spot. Menudo www s as I remember eatIng it from my Nanay Maria, and it made me nostalgic for more comfort foods back home. Basically, I think the place could've received a 5 star ratIng if not for the parking situation and smaller doors. My dad's on a wheelchair and it makes it difficult for us to get him through places. I think the mini mall could use some pepping up as they don't really adhere the ADA laws. At any rate, this is a good place to have a family meal. Not too expensive and just right for a nice Saturday late lunch out.

Yelp
Always the best Filipino food amongst all the other restaurants in the area. Best taste and freshness and I've tried them all
google avatar

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised. We were debating a few of the different options in this center, but every dish we ordered here was excellent, including the whole fish, beef caldereta, adobo, and long squash. They had just set the trays for dinner when we arrived, so it was fresh, warm, and the side rice was not "sub par" as noted elsewhere. We spent our dinner watching a Filipino children's game show. It was a version of Twenty Questions, except the kids were strapped into rockets, which would jerk up and down as they screamed back and forth, for drama. "IS IT A VEGETABLE?!?!?" "NOOOOO!!!!!" "IS IT MANNY PACQUIAO?!" "YESSS!!!!" Their antics were delightful.
google avatar

Dawn C.

Yelp
Rating their kare-kare. They have the most delicious kare kare in amar. You can really taste the peanut butter and not the powder kare kare seasoning. The meat is soft and not too grossly fatty.

Gigi T.

Yelp
Very pleasant and helpful staff; special shout out to Joanna & Rose! They made every effort to accommodate my preferences. The food was great and very decent. We had a triple celebration yesterday (asian & caucasian guests loved it). Thank you!

JJ S.

Yelp
The food is okay. $8.49-8.99 I think for the 2 item combos. It seems on the high side for the quality. 3 stars (so-so): Palabok, Curry chicken 4 Stars: pinakbet, kare-kare 5 Stars: But they have REALLY good Halo-Halo. $4.99 includes ube ice cream, leche flan and pinipig

Yelp
Having lived a couple blocks away for a couple years in WesCo .. and growing up with lots of Filipino friends and family.. I've grown accustomed to Filipino foods and I'm especially fond of the breakfast.. this right here on Azusa and Amar is Little Manila in the SGV.. with a wide variety of Filipino shops, markets, bakeries, and of course restaurants.. I tried Pinoy Pinay, DJ's, Jollibee's, and a couple others but I like Itoy Sa Atin the best out of all of them, the food has always been fresh and delicious.. the sisig, tocino, and baby octopus have been superb.. very home cooked taste.. since moving out to Chino, the IE .. there are no Filipino restos out there except closest being Jollibee's in Chino Hills which is disappointing to say the least.. whenever I'm back in WesCo I hit this spot up for some masarap grub.. Salamat Itoy Sa Atin!~
google avatar

Margaret S.

Yelp
Their prices got high and serving got smaller. Also their rice got cheaper, its not the same rice they serve. Kinda disappointed with the changes. We've been eating here for 3yrs. and we keep coming back bec. the food is really good, price is reasonable and serving is enough. I don't know if its just their new server(ang konti mag bigay ng ulam ahaha) or whatever. Our food total was $20 and we weren't full. Unlike before may take out pa kami . Mabuti pa nag jollibee weekend bundle 14.99 lang! I don't think we'll be coming back any sooner.

Yelp
I came here by myself, without my family, sometime after school/work and in my uniform.... ordering my favorite... that's when I knew I was a fan. I've been coming here for a number of years and my family has been returning time and time again, even for catering. Having tried many Filipino restaurants and increasing my options, I decided that this location is one of my favorites when it comes to home cooked meals. Walking in the staff is very welcoming and pleasant, ready to take your order. Much like you would when ordering at a mall or in a Chinese place, grab a tray and select your food... as it is all shown to you behind a glass. There are number of dishes offered with a variety of fish, pork, beef, and chicken. Also, what's great is that the menu is slightly different each time. There are a few staple dishes available, but for the most part they dishes rotate: as far as what I've seen. A few items that I love to get here are: -Beef Igado (?) -Bangus fish (Milkfish) -Dilis (small fried fish) -BBQ chicken kabob -Kare Kare (meat in a peanut butter curry) -Adobo (slow cooked meat) -bistec (beef steak) -Bihon pancit (thick noodle-like chow mein) -Their house soup, which comes free when you dine in. The most recent thing I ate was the Igado, bangus, dilis, pancit, and house soup. Beef Igado is just a beef with some gravy. To me, it tastes slightly sweet, but still savory. The beef is nice and soft... very easy to eat. Dilis, one of my favorite items. It's nice and crunchy, though sometimes you can taste the oil. Typical it's eaten with vinegar, which is available at the tables (the clear one with chilis on the bottom). Or, if you're ordering to go, you can ask them for a couple to go as well). Bangus, the milkfish. I like this a lot. This fish tastes really good as it is slightly fried. It has a great texture and the fish, in itself, has a good flavor. Just be careful as there are quite a few bones... unless they have a boneless milkfish available. Pancit. I actually ordered to for my class potluck and my colleagues ate seconds and took some home! Though I forgot to ask if they had lemon available, it was still very good. The vegetables were still nice and crunchy and the noodles absorbed all the flavors. I ordered the one with shrimp, pork and chicken- but you can pick and choose what you want and don't want in it. Also, this was a catered item, which was a tray that can supposedly serve 8-10 people and costs about $23. Everyone loved and there was nothing left over. :) The house soup is pretty good and what makes me want to eat in rather than take out. :) It's kind of like sinigang, but without the veggies and meats in there- though you do see some meat residue floating around. It's just broth that's reeeeeaaaalllllyyy sour. So simple, but tastes good! :) I suggest you try it out. You can even try little samples if you're unsure about what to get or can't decide on what you want (like me! ^_^) What I typically get is a 2 side combo, which comes with the house soup and a good portion of sticky white rice. Drinks are extra cost, so I just get water. For this, my total is just over $5. :)

Yelp
Of all the Filipino "turo-turo" cafeteria styled restaurants that I've eaten at, this is quite possibly one of the best. There are many other similar restaurants around it seeing as it is located in a very strongly concentrated Filipino locale. The service is amazing. If you are wondering what something tastes they'd be happy to give you a sample. Food in return is a good sized portion. Slightly cramped though. I've never seen this place during a rush hour but be wary of tight places.
google avatar

Xuan L.

Yelp
Dropped into this place after discovering DJ Bibingkahan across the plaza was closed for Labor Day. This place will not wow you with the food. Selection is small. They didn't even have menudo which I feel every Filipino eatery should have. Anywho, we ordered the whole fish which is bathed in the sinagong soup, chicken adobo, and pork bbq. The food was very subpar. Barbeque sticks could have been more charred, and the fish was just ok and not hot. One thing I hate is eating room temperature soup. Surprisingly, the adobo was pretty tasty and full of flavor. Not a place a see myself coming back to as long as theirs a DJ Bibingkahan around the corner.
google avatar

Bee M.

Yelp
When i crave Filipino food and I am in my hometown of Covina, this is where I go to get my fix. Their selection is very good and fresh. Everyone is friendly and for 2 entrees, rice and soup you can't go wrong paying $6. They serve crispy fried anchovies(dilis) for $7/half pound and is amazing accompaniment to a good cold beer. If you are not Filipino and want to be adventurous, the also sell crispy fried intestine(bulaklak) when dip in spicy vinegar is just to die for. 'til the next beefoodie adventure!
google avatar

Ryan D.

Yelp
Had their tapsilog today for brunch and it almost brought a tear to my eye. Also had their turon and it's my fav. It is a must try! Customer service is always nice and friendly.

Yelp
If you want Super cheap, unpretentious, and you just want to get your Filipino food grub on without the hassle of a long wait, Itoy Sa Atin is king in my book. "Itoy Sa Atin" means "This Is Ours" in Tagalog..more like "This is our home cooking" since it is pertaining to a Filipino restaurant. A humble hole in the wall Itoy Sa Atin is located inside the Seafood City Plaza in West Covina, corner of Amar and Azusa Ave. They serve pretty much all the mainstream Filipino dishes, desserts, sides and beverages. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, whatever time of day it is they'll have something to take you back to the islands. They even have several old tv's showing Filipino variety shows and soap operas. Can't stand them, personally. I love this place because it's authentic, no frills, and they treat everyone like family. They tend to get a little flabbergasted when my tall, white husband walks in and asks for sisig without blinking an eye, but they tell me in our language that they feel flattered that we still come here after all these years and dine in their "hole". That's so sweet.. Our favorites: Sisig (of course) BBQ on a stick (chicken and pork) lumpia Giniling chayote Tinola Nilaga Sinigang turon Sago or melon juice Grilled eggplant omelette We often come here for breakfast/brunch/lunch after picking up the kids after staying the weekend with my parents. I always buy extra food for dinner that evening to save me a stint in the kitchen. Can't wait to come back with the family!
google avatar

Karen N.

Yelp
Their Filipino breakfast is so good and under $5. There's a lot of tables here to eat but they're so close together that you need to be careful when moving around. Also if you want sabaw (soup) for your rice, just ask and it's free!
google avatar

Bong E.

Yelp
I don't cook, I just eat! So whenever I'm craving some filipino food that's as close to homemade as driving over to my brother's where my mom always cooks dinner, this is where I go. Don't come here expecting to order from a menu, they have food already prepared and you grab a tray, the give you a plate with some rice and you say I want that and that right there. It's always pretty fresh and if you go on Wednesdays, they have Sinigang ready and waiting for me.....one of my favorites. (I'm sure they serve it on other days also but I know they don't have it everyday) Less than $5 for a 2 entree combo and they give you enough that most of the time you'll have to ask for more rice.....don't worry, they won't charge you if you ask for more rice. They also serve desserts and snacks for those who crave something sweet after you eat. Ito Ay Atin - very roughly translated "this is ours" - I only wish they had one closer to my house so I can eat here more often.
google avatar

Liv E.

Yelp
I'm Filipino, but not the biggest fan of Filipino food. There are few places I like and I'd have to say this is one of those places. It's like a fast food chinese cafeteria style servings, like panda express. It's most convenient to order a combination, which always include rice and soup (sinigang to be exact). There are many filipino restaurants similar to this in place within a block, maybe around 4-5. But you have to try this place it's the best without the lines and the crowd and the food is great! I personally love the soup that comes with the combination which is pork sinigang, Filipino bbq (skewered meat) is a favorite but I love that they offer chicken whereas traditional is made with pork. The menudo and beef stek (sp) is good. My family loves the lechon and my grandmother is a fan of their squid/calamari chicharon is really good reminds me of those shrimp chips but not as processed. Surprisingly their pancit isn't very good though, I'd pass on that. They even serve a traditional filipino breakfast and I've been meaning to make it here to eat some. Try their toron (sp?) aka plantain eggrolls for dessert they're sooo yummy! My fav! They also have catering we've ordered lechon for parties. The ladies here are friendly and more than willing to answer questions if you have some food you want to avoid lol aka 'chocolate meat' hahaa ;)
google avatar

Angelique Q.

Yelp
This is the place my parents usually go to, EVERY SUNDAY, after church and they also buy food for dinner here sometimes. It becomes very very very very redundant but it's decent. I'm not too fond of "point point" Filipino restaurants just because I prefer home cooked meals but coming here ONCE IN A WHILE is good. :]
google avatar

Lesley L.

Yelp
Looking for home cooked filipino meals?? Try ITO AY ATIN. If you're on the go, and have only a few minutes left of your lunch break check this place out. The food is already prepared and and all you got to do is fall in line and point at what you want, with your lips that is! I've had breakfast here a couple times and you can never go wrong with garlic rice, longonisa, tocino and deep fried jeprox fish! I still think my mom cooks way better!! Just sayin!
google avatar

Kumi K.

Yelp
Ito Ay Atin serves traditional Filipino dishes with Visayan flavorings. Unlike the more common Northern flavoring which I find greasy and flat in flavor, Visayan dishes have a hint of sweetness that mellows out and binds all flavor well. I had pork asado, rice and munggo for less than $6. Pork asado was not so tender but the flavor was good. Munggo or the sautéed mung beans is very similar to split pea soup but with a slightly earthier flavor. I can't be sure but I think it had bits and pieces of salted fish in it which may explain why I highly enjoyed it. 3.5 star.

Yelp
I've never been to the restaurant, but my aunt had her 70th birthday party catered by Ito Ay Atin yesterday and I have to say - YAY! After taking one bite of pancit we all asked where the deliciousness came from. This is when she told us all of the food came from Ito Ay Atin. She paid $350-ish and got all of the following: 1) a WHOLE lechon (pork) 2) two trays of pancit (noodles) 3) two trays of bistec (beef steak) 4) two trays of teriyaki chicken 5) one tray of morcon (beef slices wrapped around egg and hot dogs in a tomato based sauce) 6) two trays of bola bola (meatballs in sweet & sour sauce) 7) two trays of chop suey (veggies in a white sauce) 8) FREE DELIVERY Holy crap. For that price I'd have gladly picked up the food. Instead, they dropped it all off for her! Not all of the food was great. Some was just okay. The pancit was awesomesauce. The bistec was pretty good (and I don't usually like it, which must mean for normal people it was really good.) The teriyaki chicken was weird, yet for some reason I kept eating it. And the morcon was either yummy or I was craving protein. The chop suey was eh okay. The bola bola was dry, but with good sauce. And did I mention the how fantabulous the pancit was? I don't live anywhere near West Covina, but I would drive there for the pancit. It's a good thing my aunt had so many leftovers that she let us take home the whole second tray of pancit! =D Overall, the food seems to be hit or miss. Again, I highly recommend the pancit. But my aunt said the workers are really friendly and obviously they have seriously fair prices. So for the value and the fact that you CAN get good food there - Ito Ay Atin gets 4 stars.

Yelp
Breakfasts are less than $5 for tocilog, tapsilog etc... Yummy toron and other typical Filipino treats to go. Friendly service. Lots of seating. Usual Filipino atmosphere with TFC blasting on several tv's :)
google avatar

Divina C.

Yelp
Their food is hit and miss. Stick to popular dishes like adobo and bistek. Some of their lesser known dishes are blah. Service is always good but I find the place too constricted. It's not a very comfortable place to dine in especially on rush hours.
google avatar

Antonio A.

Yelp
This is the only turo turo place I go to after having tried them. A lot of choices all the time, all you can eat rice, friendly service - hmmm, it's just annoying sometime that there's a kid there that plays all the time if he's there and makes a lot of noise. But all is cool. I'd rather eat here than Bamboo bistro's buffet, honestly, this place have better cooks. If you want decent ulam, inihaw ang bbq, visit this place, chicharon go to toto's, crispy calamare go to Greenhills in Diamond Bar, beer, papaitan and karaoke, bamboo bistro.

Yelp
Been here a few times since my last review. The experience when ordering food to go is always decent. Come early though, because they do run out of stuff. During the last visit, my fiancé ordered bistek and lechon. The server said the lechon was fresh, so I was hooked. Our meals came with soup, and we ate everything in-house. Funny thing though, when we asked what time they closed, the lady worker said some random time, like "8:49 PM". Not 9:00 PM, but 8:49. Lol

Yelp
Another favorite place of mine to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner. Thank goodness I can enjoy a breakfast of delicious fish, egg, rice and a variety of meat and vegestables during breakfast time. A unique and enjoyable experience.

Yelp
Barely 3 stars. The place is just too hit-and-miss for my liking. I prefer consistency in restaurants, as I'm sure most do as well. Sometimes I'll come here and have an amazing meal (because the food is still hot and fresh). And other times I wish I never even bothered. I stopped here for a quick bite before heading out to gorgeous Riverside County. I went with the two-item combo and chose Pork Adobo and Chop Suey as my entrees. The thing with turo-turo restaurants is that there are very few, if any, vegetable choices. You either have to go with the Pinakbet or Chop Suey or most likely, nothing. There were too many peppercorns in the Adobo but the Chop Suey was ok, albeit lukewarm. The last thing I wanted to do was spit out peppercorns as I was driving. Yes, I ate while driving. I'm dangerous...
