They catered at our house, pulled up with the pizza oven and created a great night for our son and his new brides rehearsal dinner. Excellent food, excellent service

Absolutely lovely local pizza place with a fun vibe and very kind service. The pizza itself is incredible. Hands down the best Neapolitan style pizza in Madison and probably the best overall pizza in Madison (and I have a high pizza bar that has mostly been missed by pizza in the area). Their sauce is incredible, and the dough is the perfect balance of chewy, soft, and light. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Incredible pizza I had after a long time!! All pizzas are wood fired. The crust is unbelievably light. Somewhat similar to a good focaccia but lighter than that. Apart from their regular menu items they have speciality pizzas for the day. They have a small size indoor seating and a beautiful patio seating too. The establishment itself isn't that big. Gives out cozy, cute, summer vibes. Would definitely visit again!

We had Its Good For You Pizza cater our spring 2025 wedding and we could not have asked for better service. Amy and Alessandro were both very accommodating and flexible. They were able to serve our guests buffet style which was amazing, our guests raved about how quickly the pizzas were coming out. They served 70+ guests in the span our 40 minutes. Even with the rain popping up and surprising us all the just shifted and were still able to accommodate. Amy and Alessandro are amazing people to work with they are so kind and considerate. We love It’s Good For You Pizza!

Anyone familiar with Madison, WI knows that the north side is now at the caliber that the east side was about 15-20 years ago. The new, fun, local spots are quickly popping up on the north side. Good for You is proof of that. Small, cute, funky, welcoming, and the pizza is so good! My favorite pizza is the kind that has things on it that you’d not think to combine on a pizza. When it all melds in your mouth, you know it’s a winner! Last night’s pizza was a combo of sun stuff with hints of smoked dates that put it over the top. Atmosphere is chill, staff is busy but really kind. I highly recommend it!!

I was trained under an Italian to make this style of pizza several years ago. They do it true to style, and they make their own Limoncello! I haven't ordered it for take, only have eaten fresh, but this style is meant to eat fresh. However, I look forward to trying the reheat method they prescribe.

I think this might be the best Pizza I’ve had in the Madison area. We tried 5 different pizzas, all were amazing. The Meatballs on the meatball pizza were incredible on their own. The pepperoni slices were giant but thin. The staff was really nice, and I appreciated the self serve water stations and outdoor seating.

We ordered the pepperoni and the mushroom pizzas, along with the tiramisu. My husband said the pepperoni was fine. My mushroom was...not good. Canned mushrooms. If they were fresh, I can't imagine what you did to them to make them smell, taste and look canned. The center of the crust was just a sloppy mess. We love supporting northside businesses, but not this one.

We wound up at It's good for you on our anniversary after being turned away due to max capacity and long waits at two other restaurants. But let me tell you we should have started at it's good for you to begin with! The staff were friendly and fun to watch working in the open kitchen. They opened a fresh bottle of wine for us. The best part, unsurprisingly was the pizza. DANG that was good. We honeymooned in Italy, but dinner at it's good for you felt like we were right back in Venice!

Preordered yesterday for a 4pm pick up. That's a nice option. Pizza was great as usual, unfortunately my Caesar salad was mostly brown lettuce. You'd think whoever boxed that up would notice that most of the lettuce had turned bad. Bummed me out because the dressing is very good there, but also a waste of $8.

The ambiance was one of a kind! It was a small little community feel and the pizzas crust was out of this world.

Ordered one of each specialty pizzas and a cheese pizza (5 total) for a group of 4 adults and 3 kiddos. If you are wondering how much you need to order, we had about 2 pizzas left over (woo hoo for left overs!). Each pizza we ordered was great. All a bit different from one another, and all with good flavor. The crust is remarkably good. We will definitely be back!

Food was pretty good was only 32 dollars for two people, definitely a cute little restaurant, if you're ever in the area definitely stop in!

Great fresh pizza. Ordered three pizzas for 4 people plus 2 Budino. Perfect amount, just wish we had more leftovers! Fresh, fresh ingredients. Fast, fast. Pro tip: Get there a little before they say it will be ready and you will take home piping hot pizzas. All pizzas are very different and delicious. Calabrese is a favorite with salami and red onion, as well as Salsiccia with fennel sausage. Check out their weekly specialty pizzas. Budino is heaven in a cup, yes and it is the same as at Papavero.

Finally a truly authentic pizza after waiting for so many years! These people know how to get the flavor and chew that I remember from the crust at my favorite pizzeria where I lived in Italy. It's an art. The toppings are high quality and super fresh. I am addicted! The people are so friendly too. Pizza, it's good for you! Grazie mille per la pizza migliore di Madison!

Wow! This is a hidden gem on the Northside. Very affordable, ready in 15 minutes, tasty salad, and crust is fantastic! Only critique is a little greasy, but we also ordered pepperoni. Will be returning soon. Delicious!

Delicious! Love the food truck and now it has a brick and mortar. The pizza is always good. We tried the calzone and it was equally tasty. (ask for some sauce on the side) Fresh ingredients, homemade sauce and sausage, dough made daily and friendly faces. Can't wait to try the budino next!

Good pizza, good pizza. Nice to find a place with a reasonably sized pie (12"). Easy to see why this is becoming a neighborhood gem for the North Side.

Really tasty pizza and super quick and convenient. We ordered margherita pizza and their pepperoni pizza. Looking forward to trying other pizzas on menu. You won't regret it. Love this place!!!!

Ordered ahead for a specific time. Pizza was barely warm. Pizza boxes were soaked with moisture as the pizza was prepared way before the pick up time. The 'house made' sausage was not fully cooked. This kind of pizza needs to be fresh and this was not at all. Floppy wet crust. If you like burnt wet bread then you'll like this "pizza".
