Ivantxu Espacio Bistronómico

"Behind the large glass-fronted façade, the focus here is unashamedly on top-quality ingredients in a location just a few metres from the river. Basque cuisine takes pride of place, centred on select meats from across Spain, Galician seafood, and fish from the auction in Conil." - Michelin Inspector

3.8/5 🇺🇸Eating good meat in southern Spain is not easy. There are not many options in both the cuisine and their culture. Ivantxu, which is on the @Michelin list in Sevilla, is one of the best addresses for it. I recommend every plate we ate, they were all very delicious. Gilda (€7.5), Anchuez (€4), Wagyu Kurado (€28.5) were great starters. Especially don't leave without eating Wagyu. Unfortunately, there is no less than 1kg for meat service. Aged Angus kg price €80. The quality and cooking rate of the meat was quite successful. Topics we break some points: Service quality is at a very low level. We had problems at every stage, from the ordering process to the payment. Another issue is high prices. Also, the restaurant has a rather claustrophobic ambiance.

This was our second Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand in two days, so we had high expectations. Ivantxu specialises in Basque food. The restaurant was smart and well presented and the service really good - we even had chef himself come out several times to see if all was ok. The staff spoke enough English to get by. We really liked the menu, and we all went for meat. We chose the biggest piece of Wagu Beef I've ever seen, along with a roast leg of Malaga goat and Iberian pork marinated with chimi-churri. The beef was cooked very rare, and was absolutely delicious - a really great tasting meat. The goat was perfectly cooked and fell off the bone - very tasty indeed. All dishes were served with fries and Padron peppers. We were so full, we didn't have room for pudding. An excellent meal for our last night in Seville.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Seville alongside Canabota and Jaylu - the Chef is talented and charming

If you’re looking for a true high end local dining experience, this is the right choice. The service team seemed a little messy at times, creating a slight chaotic ambiance, but once seated it’s rarely noticeable. Besides this, they were helpful to navigate the menu, adjust for intolerances or allergies, and followed perfect timing between courses. The food presented a combination of Spanish and French cuisine, which was well displayed in all plates. The combination of the calamari and prawn carpaccio with the fois gras, was surprisingly good, although texture wise I feel it needs a bit of adjustments. The tarte was very well executed, crispy and light, which combined with the grilled scallops was really an experience, although I would prefer slightly less fois gras as it covers the delicate flavor of scallop, if you were to eat all of it. Finally the desert was a perfect ending to the meal, the caramelized sfoglia was crispy and went really well with the chocolate ganache and the tartness of the raspberries.

A place where you can feel that there is passion for cooking and for the product. Well elaborate dishes without being pretentious but with a lot of flavour. The hake is delicious, and the cheesecake is the best I ever tasted.

Food was incredibly flavourful and service was amazing. Sebastian and Francisco went above and beyond and stayed late for us and provided a very friendly experience.

Had a wonderful lunch during the Feria, quite a large group, but service was great, the food excellent. Lovely afternoon.

In the Triana area... we asked for fresh fish and that's what we got. Perfect meal on a hot sunny afternoon. The gravy with the octopus was great and the garlic with the fresh hake was excellent.
