2024-October There were ample complimentary parking spaces conveniently located in front of the establishment. The service was prompt and exceptional. The quality of the food was inconsistent. The establishment was well-maintained and hygienic. Bon Appétit 😋

My boyfriend has been dying to take me here. It's his favorite Chinese restaurant in town. We came for the lunch special, there was no wait and we were sat immediately. For the lunch special, you get a soup, entree, rice, and spring roll. I chose the wonton soup. It was the perfect temperature and tasted amazing. We shared the beef sticks. They were cut so thin but still juicy. I chose the sesame chicken with steamed, and I loved the taste! However, it was served too hot. The first bite burned my entire mouth. I waited over 10 minutes for it to cool down enough to enjoy. I really loved the taste, and I appreciate how they serve the food fresh, but maybe they could wait for it to cool before serving. The spring role, though, was great, so crispy. Overall the food was great, we also didn't wait long for the food. I recommend this place and we will be back!

Google
Local Chinese restaurant with tasty dishes & great customer service! Lemon chicken was a tad over cooked but still yummy. Fried rice is flavorful, steamed rice is fresh, orange chicken has a touch of spicy 🌶️ yet not to overpowering, honey chicken is perfection - a kid fave!! Close to USAFA military base, fast service, clean restaurant, & drinks never ran dry. Egg rolls, egg drop soup & wonton soup are delicious! Love coming here!

Google
I ordered the Honey chicken entree and Chinese donuts for carryout. First, I ordered fried rice and was given very, very bland white rice. Yuck. The honey chicken - the sauce was decent. The chicken, though... half the pieces were mainly breading, and the pieces with actual meat, the meat was hard and chewy. I only ate about half of the meal and threw away the rest. About 3 hours later, I vomited it back up. What didn't come out then, came out the next day in the form of liquid from the other end. The donuts were good, but not enough to give more stars. The only good thing was that they put it in a plastic bag so when it tumbled in my car it didn't go everywhere.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday. The lunch menu is extensive and the portions were huge! I had Szechuan chicken and my son had Kung pao chicken. It was great! The veggies were cooked perfectly--not overcooked at all! Soup was great, egg roll was also delicious. Main dish was really great!!! Super fast food and amazing service!

Google
Staying at Great Wolf Lodge and need sometime to eat other than the food Court, well then this is your place. Pick up is quick and efficient and the food is tasty and generous portions. Two people could easily share a dish. Spent $27 and we couldn't finish it. Great extensive menu as well. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Good here is always great. I've done many times and always got and fresh! Even for delivery!

Yelp
Outstanding food, we eat here and get takeout often. Only criticism (and this doesn't affect rating) -- the fortunes in the fortune cookies are advertisements! Not for the restaurant, for sone lame window shade company I will never use. Please, get traditional fortune cookies back!

Yelp
Good prices and portions. Got the chicken with garlic sauce and the veggies tasted fresh, the soup was great and everything was served hot. Interior was clean, the young man that took our order was friendly and fast, and the interior was very clean. Will be back to try some other plates.

Yelp
Noodle dish was overly al dente. Rice had an aftertaste of spearmint, and was chewy. The bbq pork sauce is not authentic. The orange chicken dish was good.

Yelp
Picking up some shrimp fried rice for my mom. This is her favorite and I love that fact that they put extra onions and green onion in just like she likes it. This here favorite spot

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE. I wish i lived closer for sure but they are always so nice! Food is great big portions sharing style and always fresh and piping hot.

Yelp
Stopped for lunch and it was super fast. Food was tasty; had hot and sour soups and the drunken noodles with beet, chicken, and shrimp. Very solid.

Tom T.

Yelp
Update: Ivy's is still great in 2025! Thanks for the great food and service! I keep going back again and again.

Yelp
Good. Went to Ivys for lunch and has the hot and spicy shrimp, hot and sour soup and husband had Kung pao shrimp . Both entrees were good and the hot and sour soup was ok. Service was good and young gentleman waiting on us was very friendly. Would go again if in the area.

Yelp
great tasting food. Order the spicy wings and tofu.... other items are good too but the wings and the tofu are my personal favorites

Yelp
We came here at 5ish on a week day, and ordered a Pupu for two. Pork fried rice, and a large bowl of soup. I wouldn't be mad about the pork fried rice, if they would have just labeled it as Pork Fat Rice. The whole plate of overcooked rice was filled with chunks of pork fat. The egg roll from the plater was just a cabbage mush. The chicken on a stick was dryer than my grandmothers skin The chicken Wings were crusty and one was smaller than my child's palm. We asked to send the rice back in which our waiter came back and said " the manager said no" No? Why? For giving us something we didn't order. We ordered pork fried rice. Not rice with Pork Fat chunks Asked to speak with the manager and he didn't come out at all yet. Just hid behind the kitchen door and kept peaking out like a coward.

Yelp
Friendly service. Except flavors. We have had both dine-in and take out. If you do it, dine in. China plates are much better than little cardboard boxes.

Mark H.

Yelp
Food was good. Owners brought their ill child to the restaurant, and we witnessed him vomit in the dining area. On another visit, the restaurant had so many flies buzzing around one landed on our food. We won't be returning due to these experiences.

Diane F.

Yelp
I dined in and the orange chicken was way too hard. I gave them a second chance and ordered 8 takeout and despite repeating back the order, my guest received Mongolian beef instead of hunan beef.

Neha K.

Yelp
Absolute worst Chinese I've ever had!!!! Every single dish was bland with zero flavor BUT extremely salty. It's almost like they tried to make up for the lack of flavors by salting it to hell and back. The orange chicken? An abomination. It was all batter, no chicken, and it tasted like they used orange jam in the sauce!!! Not to mention the shitty service here. We ordered our order for pick up for 8pm and they didn't have it ready for another half hour. AND they gave us one chili oil for the whole order? For context, we ordered SEVEN items, a $100+ order and when we asked for more chili oil they said they could only give us ONE more. Genuinely, save your money and just get Panda Express- it'll be better.

Yelp
Waited over an hour for our to go order. Then when we got home and were eating our food there was a hair in it. Needless to say no one ate the food after that.

Ralph H.

Yelp
The service is busy. That's because they're great. It's apparently family run, and they do well. The food is incredible. I knew their dishes were good, but I ordered dumplings and wings since it was just me. Their wings - where did they find those dinosaurs? They're huge, and so so good. The dumplings are hand made, with a filling I've never had before. I want a triple order of them before I die, they're that good. Don't really need the sauce. Their entrees are equally good. I've had shrimp lo mein, chicken lo mein, pork lo mein, and bbq pork dishes, as well as the scallop and shrimp chef's meals. All were incredibly good - better than I've have in years in COS.

Yelp
Food had bugs like nats inside soup not just one, Sesame chicken rock hard burnt taste. Save some money cook at home don't get sick!

Yelp
Off in the hinterlands between Northgate and Interquest, lies Ivy's, a pan-Asian establishment set within the bridal and nail places as well as a Loyal Coffee. But don't let the locale fool you - it's a reasonable place to get your Fixin' for things Chinese from potstickers to noodles with some excellent tastes. You can even get the culturally diverse - in that every culture has them - Chinese donuts which are just fried dough with sugar but from which this home boy remembers and covets since he was 5 years old which was decades ago. Sesame beef is on the spicier side - a good thing - as were surprisingly the guo te (potstickers). Chicken soup was well appreciated as tasty, excellent in flavor and similar to that from the old country. Noodles were a bit soggy though - will have to try the crispy ones next time.

Yelp
The food is always amazing, its my 5th time here and will continue to come back. Its consistent and delicious. 10/10 recommend

Yelp
Recently ordered to-go and just a heads-up, they are no longer giving Military discount.

Dave K.

Yelp
Next visit not so good. Teriyaki chicken tough enough it would bounce off the wall. Asked if that was normal and was told yes. Would have been nice if she asked if I wanted something else but no $40 dollars w/ tip for 2. Not going back.

Ron B.

Yelp
It seems the food is up and down at times. This last time was very good. They are close to our home and that is the primary reason we do take out there.

Sullivan R.

Yelp
I absolutely adore this place. Their customer service is extraordinary, their food is out of this world, absolutely. I haven't personally dined in, but I imagine the ambiance is as amazing as their food. This place is amazing, 5/5 stars.

Kathy K.

Yelp
Food very good & was very clean. Only downside is that the dinner menu is only available on weekends (higher prices). To get the lunch menu you need to go there on weekdays.

Yelp
Good lunch specials Monday to Friday until 3:00PM. Wide selection and variety which includes your choice soup, rice and it also includes a fried spring roll. It wasn't as good as it used to be. One of the orders had the wrong soup but didn't know it until we got home. The fried rice is very bland and I wouldn't really call it fried rice. The taste of the food was ok. They are pretty quick getting take out orders ready but I was disappointed in the food.

Yelp
Came here on Christmas Day for lunch! We were vacationing in Colorado and this place was one of the few places open. The staff was nice; they have a great selection in menu items and price point is great compared to portion sizes. The only thing negative I can say is that I wish they had a kids menu or portion for soups and noodles. We ordered a lot because my eyes were hungry but ended up ordering more entrees because they didn't have a kids lo mein or kids pho. All in all the food was all very tasty. I especially liked the Mongolian Beef and the Salt and Pepper Shrimp and the Chinese Donuts. Fried rice was a little bland. Super cute hole in the wall; great fast service; big menu; great portions and prices and thankful they were open on Christmas!
google avatar

Kervin M.

Yelp
Horrible service! Salt and pepper wings are so dry! It's crispy outside but inside was so dry! Their pho soup was tasteless , I know if the broth is real bone marrow that cooked on a big pot for hours. But this one is like powder broth or sachet, it's not authentic. I don't see any oil or fats on top! It's just clear broth like wonton soup! Don't come here. Lack of service and attention to the customers!

Yelp
This place is SO GOOOOD. Much is I love having "review of the day" for Ivy's it is time for me to update my review. This is truly the best Chinese food I have had in the Springs. Today I tried the sesame chicken. It is very lightly battered and more chicken than batter which is not only awesome, but very difficult to find. The chicken was moist and tender. The fried rice was delicious. Had a little bits of egg in it, but it was missing the vegetables. The sauce was both sweet and spicy. The Hot and Sour soup is perfection. I still have to say that their egg rolls are good but a little weird. They're more meat than anything else and it's unusual... $8.40 for lunch. I have enjoyed their shrimp with lobster sauce and also think it's worth a mention that their twice cooked pork is divine. Tender and delicious. This place is way waaay on the north side of town fairly close to I 25. There are only 12 tables so it's relatively small but the servers hustle. Their prices are what you would expect from a Chinese food lunch but what makes them a step up is there food is as fresh as fresh can be. Good portion size and I wasn't hungry an hour later. Highly recommend.

Kim J.

Yelp
Was solid food, simple place, and they have Pepsi!!! Really loved the potstickers. They are so good, crispy, and came 10 in the order. Ala carte portions were huge. Chicken Chop Suey (crunchy kind) was really delicious. Egg Foo Young was our least favorite due to the sweetness of the gravy. Yet it was good too. Ham fried rice was spot on.

Jonathan D.

Yelp
This is my first choice for Chinese food in Colorado Springs. Great food (and lots fo choices), good people in a comfortable setting.

Josh ..

Yelp
I've been here MANY times. They've been a little slow the last couple times I've been, so I wanted to help them out with a review! The food is a phenomenal value, several steps above the typical fast casual Chinese hot plate food. You get absolutely delicious and satisfying made to order entrees for Panda Express prices. They provide friendly service to top it all off. Recommendations: Mongolian Beef, Hot Pepper Pork, Thai Basil Chicken, Singapore Noodles (at night), and Pork Lo Mein. Honestly, you can't go wrong though. I've enjoyed every meal they've prepared for me. Give it a try!

Johanne M.

Yelp
This is our usual go-to place; however, it has always been hit or miss; sometimes good, sometimes meh. Dish flavor is inconsistant, at time no flavor and at times too salty. Pictures show what we found in our chicken last time we ordered takeout, which seems to be a piece of steel scrubber mixed with our chicken .. will take a break. Not worth the money, nor the hour drive altogether.

Yelp
Came to Ivy's on a whim. Lived in Colorado Springs for years...years ago. This small space was very comfortable, quiet with great views out the front window. Hot & Sour was classic and very tasty. Egg roll tightly rolled, densely packed and not the least bit oily or greasy. Scallops in garlic sauce with mixed vegetables was superb. Scallops cooked perfectly, veggies also--not limp, fresh and a little crispy. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back whenever we are in town.

Chris J.

Yelp
This was our first time dining at this restaurant. We were so pleased with our experience! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious!!! The portions were very generous and the prices were reasonable. We can't wait to return!
google avatar

Debby V.

Yelp
Yesterday, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch to go. We ordered shrimp and veggies in white sauce, So fresh!! And, Beef and veggies in brown broth, and egg rolls! It was all fresh, very tasty, and the egg rolls were crispy and delicious! We will order again.
google avatar

Dawn A.

Yelp
Staff is always so nice and the food is amazing! Large portions - I always have leftovers. I would definitely recommend
google avatar

Paul B.

Yelp
Great taste and great portions in a nice clean environment at good prices. Had the sesame chicken which had a nice spice as well as the hot and sour soup. Definitely will go back.
google avatar

Terry N.

Yelp
We love to order the combination noodle soup. You can get it with rice or regular noodles. It has a light and delicious broth and generous potions of meats and vejies. They just recently started indoor dining again. I am so glad that they survived through covid.

Angie T.

Yelp
The food here used to be freshly made, hot and really good. The last 2-3 orders have been overcooked rice, sesame chicken fried so much you can't chew it, shrimp that taste like rubber and egg rolls/wontons fried to a crisp. Pretty expensive for the small portion you get for dinners as well. It's very unfortunate how bad the food has gotten. $83 for three dinners, 2 egg rolls and an order of wontons. A lot to pay for terrible food. We will not be ordering again.
google avatar

Diana L.

Yelp
Ivy's Chinese is my favorite Chinese food in Colorado Springs. It's a little hole in the wall but they make great and tasty food. I live in fountain and drive all the way up north for this food. They serve great portions as well. It's family owned. They have a good seating area, booths or tables. The place is clean. Honestly recommend!
google avatar

Tony H.

Yelp
Excellent food and amazing price! My favorite is the shrimp with pepper sauce, white rice, and hot and sour soup and egg roll from Lunch Special. I only spent $9.95! What an amazing deal! It's my favorite Chinese restaurant/café in the neighborhood.

Deric P.

Yelp
It's hard to mess up rice and basic chicken but Ivy's provided 4 spoonfuls of over cooked rice claiming that was two servings and boneless sesame chicken (one I ate had a bone) that was just orange chicken with sesame seed on it. The soda is watered down and the service was non existent. Had come highly recommended. Instead, I was highly disappointed.
google avatar

Dsquare D.

Yelp
I had lunch here this week and it the meal was so different from when I posted a review about Ivy's in 2019 (it was an excellent meal). This time, however, everything was too salty. The wonton soup, the egg roll and broccoli beef were salty to the point where my throat became sore. My first thought was that there were new owners and it was confirmed by other reviews.
google avatar

Beth C.

Yelp
I ordered Sesame Chicken & Cheese Wontons. First impression of the sesame chicken....dry & overcooked. The first bite tasted like FISH. Second bite....tasted like FISH again...AND had a small peice of BONE in it! Not sure why some reviewers rave about the sesame chicken! The batch I had was overcooked, dry, & had a STRONG fishy aftertaste. No thanks. I ended up trashing the entire box. Wontons...rubbery...not crispy...literally tough and hard to chew. Ugh. So disappointed in this place. I guess I'll continue on my quest for decent Chinese food...
google avatar

Jonathan R.

Yelp
Typically, I order the same dish at Americanized Chinese restaurants, Kung Pao chicken. Here, I did for the second time. While this was off the lunch menu, in both instances the food had a slightly unpleasant odor. The sauce was goopy. The plate was served instantly, leading me to conclude that it was pre-prepared. It wasn't fresh and hot. The meat was a little Strange looking as well. It wasn't terrible. If I were them, I would cut down on portion sizes and instead, focus on food quality. It's ok, but with some adjustment, something that could be so much better. My standard for this dish so far is Eliza's on Divisadero, in San Francisco.
google avatar

Bill D.

Yelp
Ivy's would rate as average based on the food we had. "General's Chicken" had good flavor but was rather stale and chewy. Soups, both hot and sour and egg drop, ware tasty. Rice was nothing to write home about. The negatives: Table was sticky. Asked for it to be cleaned and got a long stare from the server who apparently isn't all that familiar with English. Asked if they had beer. Another long stare. Settled for water.
google avatar

Meriem B.

Yelp
Their egg foo young and their sweet and sour shrimp are delicious. I've tried several other dishes here and several taste the same which was a little disappointing. However I've gone back a few times just for the two items I mentioned above. Soooo yummy!
