America’s Next Fine Dining Era Comes Care of West Africa | Eater

"A lively Lagos eatery and touchstone in the chef’s memory that formed part of an adventurous night moving from posh to dive to under‑bridge spots; the mixed‑scene, late‑night character of that experience inspired a desire to recreate those unpredictable, communal dining nights in a new context." - Kovie Biakolo

Met up with my best man from like 7 -8 years ago. Just came back from living in South Africa all those years. This place actually "invited" us to sit and catch up. Management was really nice welcoming and jovial.....we felt at home. I had fun

The best local kitchen I have come across. Very neat and well organised. Cheerful and professional service. Immaculately clean rest rooms. Open air kitchen which gives one the sense that one could even eat off the kitchens' floor. Highly recommended - could easily be my every day lunch supplier! Well done

I enjoyed my food. And the service was okay.

First please note that this review is based on their Amala alone as that’s the only thing I tried. They don’t owe affordability but at least let me get value for money! The taste was highly basic for the price, they can do so much better please. The customer service was okay at least no one was rude to me. The environment is the regular buka standard and relatively clean for a buka! My main issue is the taste and nothing more. For that price, it can be way better!

My forever local joint for white rice and fried stew with plenty meat!

Parking is the greatest problem here, there is an area boy who collects title from all who park. Only two service points, one for rice, the other for okele. It has a small seating area, and is not air conditioned, so you best plan for take away. However, if you have an urgent need for a meal, it's a good stop.
