The cuisine served at the elegant Iyo is heavily influenced by Japan while at the same time being rooted in Italian flavours and traditions. Definitely worthy of 1 Michelin star. The best meal of my Italy trip. The taste was so good that even many restaurants in Japan or Asia can't do this. And it's incredibly cheap compared to other Michelin restaurants in Italy.

I enjoyed this gastronomic experience, but I expected more. The dishes are delicious, the ingredients are very high quality, but if you are looking for something unusual, I would not recommend this restaurant. But this is definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants in Milan! We tried the tasting menu, our favorite was the third course with squid and egg, it was really interesting! The service is excellent, the atmosphere is calm.

We were skeptical about going to a Michelin star Japanese restaurant in Milan... Luckily, IYO did not disappoint. Our only complaints were they could've included some uni or have better, quality cuts for their nigiri selection. Other than that, we thoroughly loved the wagyu tartare and their concept of squid noodles with caviar. Furthermore, service was top notch. We felt taken care of the whole time.

I absolutely adore this sushi restaurant in Milan! The quality and freshness of the sushi here are outstanding. Every time I come here, I’m impressed by the variety of sushi rolls. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant to any sushi lover. An absolute must-visit if you’re in Milan!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. We visited a while back to celebrate last New Year’s Eve and also my birthday and the whole experience was fabulous. We had the NYE degustation menu which consisted of incredible dishes. Perhaps the one dish which greatly stood out was the tuna belly & roe which was so delicious. The service was impeccable and the staff also treated us all to a little fireworks show when the clock stroke midnight! 10/10 - Well done to all for the great experience!

One of the best Michelin star experience. This place is a must go if you're in Milan. I would really appreciate the chef and the staff. The service was on point and they never gave us a chance to complain about anything. The food was out of the world and taste pallets were unique. I was constantly awestruck and surprised at the dishes. The desserts were tremendously curated and crafted to sheer perfection. I would not hesitate to go here again. Samurai sticks is highly recommended
