"Founded 15 years ago by co-winemakers Emily Towe and Jody Brix Towe, J. Brix Wines started in a garage and grew into a facility in Escondido. Known for low-intervention wines like Cobolorum Riesling Pét-Nat, J. Brix sources varieties from California vineyards, including Santa Barbara and San Diego County. The tasting room offers wines on tap, wine flights, and bottles for on-site or to-go purchase. It features cold brew coffee from Steady State Coffee and non-alcoholic options. Guests can bring food from North City neighbors or enjoy in-house snacks. They plan to host art and wine workshops and move headquarters to Carlsbad Gateway Center." - Candice Woo

We hosted a private party at J Brix tasting room and it was a PERFECT night!!! It was a very special occasion (family engagement party for our son & fiancé ) and J Brix did an amazing job of ensuring a wonderful event. The wine was spectacular and they had choices/options for everyone’s palate. We had pizza & salad from the fabulous Bueno Forcetta a few doors down and it was a great compliment to the yummy wine at J. Brix. Excellent service and a perfect venue for any occasion: personal or business.

Love this local wine spot! All their wine is organic and great. They have a new Sav Blanc that is SO good. This is a great place to grab a glass of wine and sit and enjoy North City. Especially enjoyable on a Friday night to listen to some live music during the farmers market. Also, if you're a North City resident you get a small discount!

Oh my God! Are you kidding me? This is some of the best wine I've ever tasted in my entire life! They source their grapes from really high-end places and the grapes are organic and there is no pesticides or any crap in them! They are on a cute little drive in San Marcos, where they have farmers market on Friday night and the cute little wine tasting room has beautiful ambience! The service is excellent! And it is owned by a husband and wife Emily and Jody who really make all the wine and honestly this is some of the best wine for real! I know I'm saying it again but it's really good!
