J. Brix Wines Opens Tasting Room in San Marcos - Eater San Diego
"Founded 15 years ago by co-winemakers Emily Towe and Jody Brix Towe, J. Brix Wines started in a garage and grew into a facility in Escondido. Known for low-intervention wines like Cobolorum Riesling Pét-Nat, J. Brix sources varieties from California vineyards, including Santa Barbara and San Diego County. The tasting room offers wines on tap, wine flights, and bottles for on-site or to-go purchase. It features cold brew coffee from Steady State Coffee and non-alcoholic options.
